- Battlemaster: With an integrated 'Battlemind' A.I system the wearer can make better quick decisions on the field of battle be they relating to individual combat or large scale engagements each wearer is another commander in themselves able to throw battle in their favor.
- Take a Beating: With a fortified armor composite the Alliance Jedi Guardian armor is meant to sustain a great deal of damage in the field from conventional weapons systems at a comfortable weight and maneuverability to the wearer, making them dangerous in combat with opposing troopers or force users.
- Cryo Lock: In an inherit weakness to cryoban technology intense cryogenic bursts can severely dampen the effectiveness of the foundational components of the armor, making it a task and a half to break free from it, likely giving the opponent enough time to make it not your problem any more.
- Force Reliance: Despite the panoply of gadgets and utilities attached to the armor, the inefficient EMP and ion wave protection means the quality of life enhancements are included with a degree of fragility, expecting the wearer to be a force user proficient enough to neglect the need for them if need be.
While the REC had consistently proficciently armed the Galactic Alliance's military branches, the peculiar position of Jedi within the military demanded a distinct armor pattern to set them apart from their GADF army and navy counterparts on the field of battle. All the while providing a personal protection system more fitting for a force user able to tangle in lightsaber combat or leading troops on the field of battle. With these specifications, the armor was made at a very low production rating, fitted to each commissioned wearer and their specifications to allow for optimal comfort and maneuverability.
