All For One

"A Dramatic Force-Blessed Myth"
As [member="Drogh"] started to go limp, Vulpesen released his grasp, allowing the man to fall to his hands and knees. He could feel the hatred and the fear. They were intoxicating, reminding him of times when he had engulfed himself in such emotions. They were the emotions of war. Of battle. But still, he remained calm, resisting the temptation that Drogh's vulnerability offered him. Stepping forward, Vulpesen leaned down, placing his head just by that of the recovering darksider. "In two days, you will meet me in the court yard. Use those days to recover and train. You may come at me with or without the force, and I will react accordingly. You will meditate on what happened here. And when you face me, I want you to tell me what was your mistake. What caused this?" Patting Drogh on the back, Vulpesen allowed the force to flow from his fingers. But for once, there was no malevolence, instead he offered a healing light to ease the bun in the man's throat, and aid his lungs in their intake of oxygen.

"Now then... Someone clean this up, and let's hear some music!" His previous demeanor disappearing entirely, Vulpesen smiled broadly and threw up his hands.Instantly, the ban started in a fast paced tune, as if all that had happened was simply some show. Guards replaced and resumed their conversations and normality was restored. Tomorrow there would be hell to pay, and entertainment to be had, but for now, it was time to relax and have some fun.

As Seo asked who the boss was, Garlan flicked a thumb at the Valde his lopsided smile returning to his face as he relaxed. "Mister sparky over there. Leads this operation and the planet. The palace we're sitting in is actually his house. Mereel met him for a bit when we dragged his ass out of the jedi temple." Garlan brought his glass to his lips, simply draining the amber liquid before reaching over to the nearby cask to fill it back up. "Good guy. Ain't afraid to drink with the guys working for him."

As Alex sat down and called the drink to her hand, she would find it contested on the table, standing still as Lucas calmly lifted a hand to lock it in place with his own usage of the force. "You really should stop pouting. I've heard you're a grand master, Lady Feanor. You really should have some pride. Stand straight, watch the area, be observant and wait for your ideal opportunity." Walking over to the table, Lucas took a seat and smoothed the creases from his suit while his tail flicked around to wrap around his waist. "You'd be surprised at how useful a confident smile can be."

Josh would stop completely when he realized that Vulpesen was continuing to choke the darksider well beyond reason. The man had collapsed to his knees and had already expelled vomit. This was further than he was willing to let him take it, regardless of who's castle this was.

"ENOUGH, RELEASE HIM!"

The bellow would rocket through the room like a shotgun blast. Josh was completely fed up with this. He was sick of this cruelty, whether it was by darksiders or people he considered friends. If Vulpesen did not release him, he would make him release him. But whether by Josh's command or of his own decision, Vulpesen would finally do so as the darkside apprentice would collapse and go limp. Josh was moments from rushing forward and ensuring he was still alive when Vulpesen would beat him to it. Being able to tell through the Force after the healing light was cast that the darksider was still alive, Josh would stop. Staring [member="Vulpesen"] dead in the eyes, he shook his head in disapproval. "You should be better than this" The Jedi would mutter, clearly very much upset as he would turn his heel and storm outside. "Savages" He found himself muttering under his breath as he left. Ra was free to follow, of course, he'd promised her a dance. It would just take a few minutes for him to calm down.

Alexandra smiled as she looked at Lucas sand heard his words, shaking her head.

"Even Grandmasters have feelings and weaknesses Lucas. I am confident in many things but the way Vulpesen reacts to me is what scaes me. Ive only gotten to talk with him a few times, and each held no emotion, no hint there was ever love there." She pulled the drink back and downed it.

"I spent those two years, thinking of him and how proud he would be when I came back and Hel was under complete control, at how I had found the lightside and bathed in its power and use. I spent all that time thinking one day, I would be able to return to him and my children, to be their mother and stand beside him in anything, without hesitation. And instead... I am casst asside because of the very being I wanted to deal with." She put the glass down and leaned forward, her hair obscuring her face.

"Two years, I spent two years alone, dealing with the thoughts of falling apart and simply wanting to disappear. Life has a cruel way of working out." She wasn't crying, or even looked sad. She was just wavering in her voice, trying to keep herself from breaking down and now she itched for a good fight, wanting tot ake her mind off things. She thought for a moment and her hands went to work smoothing out her dress.

"I could use a good fight and punch that fox brained fool in the face for not realizing I would never leave them of my own will..."

Mereel lowered his guard a little as he listened to Seo. What she said made him feel at ease. Even though he would've preferred to have been the one to tell her about how he had gotten his hand instead of Garland, it really wasn't that big of a deal. In fact, he was actually kind of happy that the Zorren had beaten him to the punch, otherwise he didn't know when he would've brought it up.

He flashed Seo a small smile "Yeah, I think you're right, but I'm pretty sure that that was the last of the skeletons in my closet."

Mereel held up a finger for a couple of seconds as he took a swig of his whiskey. Pulling the cup back down, he wiped the burning feeling at the side of his lips, "You already know about Endor after all.."

His sentence trailed off as he said it. There was a chance Garlan would know what that planet was, but he doubted it. Even if the Zorren did though, he didn't provide any context that could've provided Garlan a new channel for embarassing him. Smiling at her lack of amusement at his arm joke, his eyes traced the path of her finger as she pointed to a redheaded woman across the hall. Cogs turned in his mind. The red haired woman had told them her name on Arkania, but he couldn't remember it for the life of him. He only remembered that she was looking for a healing plant when they met her.

"Oh, yeah.. we did see her on Arkania. Looks like Plant Lady has found trouble here as well.."

Mereel watched as the situation over by Plant Lady escalated into a force choking, and was about to suggest the two of them step in to intervene when Garlan spoke up again.

"Hey, I pulled myself out of that datashelf and walked onto your ship on my own two feet.. there's still credit due, but I wouldn't call it dragging."

There was a high probability he would've died on Coruscant if it hadn't been for the Valde, but he was a little too prideful to admit that so freely.

There was no delay in her actions, but she did not stop or prevent Vulps from doing what he did to Drogh. Her apprentice had finally pushed her and while this group of people were generally a united bunch...he had always been the wild card. She did not have a strong enough fist to train him alone fully and guide him, her friends did though and this lesson would be learned.

Vulps did release him after he fell to the floor into his own vomit, but that was Drogh. Filth was what he liked or maybe he just didn't know any different. Josh may not like what was going on at all, but he did not know everything. Something she would talk to him about.

When he left the room, Ra followed. The fate of Drogh solved for now. She wouldn't worry about him again.

Not reaching out to touch him, when he did calm down enough, she would be there.
