The children simply grumbled at their father's lecture of instructions, though the sudden appearance of the silver haired woman did cause their faces to brighten with joy. A pair of shouts quickly heralded the bounding young zorrens as they all but tackled Alexandra with their hugs, teir father grinning behind them. "Sometimes boring is good. It means you're not getting shot at." Walking forward, he tussled Vallen's hair before continuing towards the main meeting, confident that his kids would be safe with their mother. "And calling ahead would have ruined the surprise." Alderaan wasn't exctly a long flight, but none the less, Vulpesen hated flying and a drink would certinly go a long way for the Valde.

Alexandra’s invitation for governments to attend this dealio came as a bit of a shock to Josh, who was acting in Jyoti’s stead in the face of her leave of absence. No, it wasn’t the party. Josh was used to parties. He seemed to be at a gathering a week these days. No, it was the fact that…

The Silver Jedi Order wasn’t a government.

Come to think of it, neither was the Hand. Which he knew by his partner [member="Riamah"] had also been invited. But the Silver Jedi Order was just a organization of people who protected, healed, and lent aid. They had a relationship with systems in their influence sure, but they were just under their protection. Those systems had their own governments. Even Kashyyyk, where the Silver Rest lay, was ruled by it’s natives. The Silver Jedi Order didn’t “govern” anything except their own members. And that was in the way an organization would.

Maybe “faction leaders” would have been better, especially with the Hand here.

Either way the Jedi Master strode in, looking for familiar faces through the crowd. He recognized [member="Lady Kay"] but was curious if he’d find his partner or [member="Alexandra Feanor"] amongst them.

Kay-Larr

Sphaera Tea Company Owner
Kay raised a brow as [member="Voph"] seemed to have spoken to Viribus. The newly hatched krayt dragon almost trilled in response. It was quite curious to witness. Perhaps the Lord had come across them before. "I'll certainly do what I can to help. Lord [member="Baron Morcus"] is working quite hard at rebuilding the forces and fleets that we had lost.
Thank the Force that our schematics and blueprints for many of our vessels survived."

Her attention was quickly drawn to [member="Lisza Starseeker"] as she was called out, the younger woman beeming as she approached. Kay smiled and bowed her head. "Lovely to see you too. I'd ask what brings you here, but I think that I can hazard a guess. There are some that I haven't seen in a while, and others that are entirely new."

[member="The Major"] was spotted on her way in. Kay had met her once before at the Royal Palace in Chasin City. They shared an interesting chat over tea. Perhaps they'll do so again some time.

And then came in [member="Josh DragonsFlame"] . Her old friend was looking well. Hopefully during this meeting he wouldn't be berating her on the occupation of Commenor by the Sith and how they couldn't be trusted. She hadn't heard that lecture from a lot of people yet, but she knew that it was on their minds.

Her attention was drawn back to Lisza and Voph. "Shall we get a drink? I'm unsure of whether or not there'll be speeches, or if we are all to just mingle. I'm rather used to the former."

First Order, First Order, Noble, Republic, Jedi . . .

Svenn made a mental note of those as they arrived. If anything, one thing his years in the intelligence division of the Chiss Ascendancy had done, was given himself a wealth of knowledge of people from various organizations around the greater galaxy. Where he may not have been able to put a name to each head, he could recall several faces he'd seen within various holo-imaging data files. Something the division prided itself on was information and though there was no way to be 100 percent certain the faces he saw among those gathered truly belonged to those organizations that logical analysis would have put them with, he still paired the faces how they best appeared to align with. Intelligence reports also offered that the Chiss had a kind of pact or alliance with the First Order - if anything, a peaceful coexistence with said group. Of the others he saw gathered and whose organizations he assumed were represented among the . . . well, dignitaries for lack of a better term . . . there were no alliances or treaties held with.

Perhaps new alliances could be forged in the future, but for now, he would continue to gather information in what manner he was able.

He pulled at the collar of his jacket a moment, turning to the right and then back to the left before centering his once again, allowing the vertebrae to pop and crack in doing so. "Time to make introductions, I supposed," he thought to himself as he took one final analytical gaze around the room.

He rocked on his shoulder and pushed himself away from the wall where he'd been leaning and noting everything occurring around the room. The exits, those in attendance, and everything in between, and he approached a man whose face did not ring a familiar chord for him - [member='Luther Ando']. Even as the passing waiter inquired about his interests in a drink, Svenn pressed forward toward his query, casting a wave to turn down the offer. As he arrived to the man, he bowed his head in a simple display of respect and extended a hand to the man. "So what brings you to this quaint world?" Svenn questioned the man, not really expecting a serious answer as they were all likely here for the same purpose - the invitation extended by the Jedi that hosted them.

Faith finally made her appearance looking at her youngest son who was a vision of frustration. His brow furrowed and tight while his head rested in his hands, "Careful I'll have to ask [member="Riamah"] to give you lessons of some type, perhaps on diplomacy or how to listen." It was a joke to say the least Faith had had Riamah's company for sometime off and on finding the woman's calm demeanor a welcome diversion from the the antics of others within her staff.

Even her son.

"I have asked her if she would care to join us and go." Faith smoothed the traditional Alderaan vest she wore, "Unless you've changed your mind and decided to sulk here at the house."

There was a low groan from his lips as she hemmed and hawed about what he wanted to do. Faith smiled, "Think about it I'm preparing to go to the air speeder to go."

Faith just smiled as she walked.

Becca quickly appeared, "Mam you should be advised that there may be representatives at this meeting that...well Mam do not have the best interests of Alderaan at heart." Becca wanted to be sure Faith had all the information to not be caught off guard.

"Thank you Becca."

A small white vessel flew thrugh the upper atmosphere, slowing quickly as it moved towards the palace. Harris sat inside the main hull of the transport. He looked at white leather seats and red silky interior. The ship was a luxurious space liner that he once frequently used, but as of recent had collected dust. Harris uncomfortably sat in the seat with his legs spread, he leaned forwards with his hands pressed on his face. He rubbed the sides of his head trying to relive the migraine headache he was experiencing. This was a turbulent time and he had to make this fast. The civil war that ravaged what was left of the Fel Empire on Osseriton wouldn't wait. The king allowed him to go and promised he's hold down the fort, but Harris still worried non-the-less. Commander Wills walked into the room in his white and red stormtrooper armor and removed his helmet. He leaned back and ran his hand through his brown hair and then sat up and looked at Harris.

"So, sir. Do you think anyone would be willing to help?"

"I hope so, but leave the politics to me, I wouldn't want to stress you out. Do we have any more of those headache medication?"

Wills sat up and walked to a drawer to the left of Harris where there was a cubbord and a sink next to the door. He opened a cabinet and took out a glass along with a pill before filling the glass and bringing it to William.

"Here you go sir.''

"Thanks John."

Captain Johnathon wills sat back down and looked at Harris. "Buckle up sir, I believe we are getting close. Don't know what I'd do if I almost lost you again, The king is no general."

Harris chuckled and stood, waking to a proper chair to the right of the couch and sat down. "Well, you'd have to do what you do best. Improvise."

A small ding rung from the front of the lounge and a white light began blinking above the pilots door. Harris looked outside the window as the ship descended upon a platform. The engines ramped up and the ship slowed before gently touching down on the ground. Harris unbuckled, stood up, and looked at wills.

"I didn't need to buckle."

"I didn't know if it'd be rough. You almost dying is what caused the civil war. If we loose you, what's left of the empire dies."

"Your wrong, That bastard Revere is what caused the civil war, him and his greed for power. Poor King Alexander just about payed at his coronation in front of his family." Harris brushed past Wills. "Commander, Your helmet please.

"Yes sir." Wills slid on his helmet and turned towards Harris as a group of 6 men stepped out through a back door.

Harris walked up to the door of the cockpit and knocked. The door slid open and [member="Kalic Daws"] stepped out.

"Well dressed Kalic, glad you could come."

Harris turned left and the ramp door dropped down slowly. Harris stepped onto the first step and looked around, partially shielding his eyes from the sun as they adjusted. He looked down at the 4 men standing outside the door, two on each side. They had arrived early to prepare for the summit and the Grand Premier's arrival.

Kalic sat in the cockpit of the luxury liner, keeping her steady as she entered Alderaan's atmosphere. It had been a long time since he had flown a freighter sized vessel, so it was a nice change of pace. It had also been a long time since he had seen the lush world beneath him. The last time he had seen it was as a hired-gun running escort for a freight pilot who was on the Hutts' bad side. What surprised the Miraluka though was that Harris wanted him to join the diplomatic mission. Kalic had gladly accepted, half thinking this would be great experience for the former spacer, and half wanting a chance to not wear his Imperial flight gear. He really hated that gear.

As the diplomatic craft neared the landing pad, the pilot flipping a switch to warn the passengers they were landing. Once he touched down, Kalic flipped a few more switches and lowered the engine power before eying his droid, Jee.

"Stay with the ship, ok? And don't try anything."

"(Me? Try something?)"

"Yes you. Ok?"

"(Ok)"

With that, Kalic left the cockpit, adjusting his face cover as he did. He then hear Harris's compliment.

"Thank you, Premier. Same to you." Kalic soon followed the Premier out of the ship. Unlike the others, he had no reason to shield his face. At least not at first. As the group entered the building, Kalic began to hold around his head where his eyes would be if he had any. There were so many Force users there, powerful Force users, that it was overwhelming him. It wasn't like he could just shut his vision off either. He didn't have eye lids, or the equivalent, to block his sight. As he walked, he accidentally ran into Harris, stumbling as he did. The Miraluka quickly tried to look at... whoever he ran into, sounding a bit annoyed as he did. "I'm... sorry. I... I can't see. There's too much Force energy focused here. I can't keep it from blinding me."

(Written with the permission of [member="Riamah"] because they liked the joke)

So many leaders of factions, and governments, oh my! Josh almost felt a little bit out of place. Maybe being out of place was why he hadn't actually had the chance to interact with anyone as of yet. But he didn't hold it against anyone, everyone had their reasons to be there, they had their associates, they had their agendas. He was just a giant man in a crowd of actual heads and leaders. Though truth be told... He was curious if the Mandalore would be here... Considering the recent battles between they and the Silver Jedi, getting a chance to sit down and talk with Yasha might actually be beneficial. At the least, it'd be interesting. Getting her perspective, getting her thoughts, and tugging her listening ear? There was no harm.

At the worst, they'd fight and Josh had always wanted to slug it out with Mandalore for the hell of it. They were warriors, Josh knew he'd enjoy every moment of it no matter the context. He was curious as to if the Mandalorians still valued honorable battle enough to share his sentiments... Questions for later.

But one figure that strode through the entrance caught Josh's attention with their radiant beauty, flowing red locks and a figure to die for. Moving toward them, the Jedi would raise his brows playfully in greeting, seeing the surprised look on her face.

"Well..." He trailed off, turning his head a moment to spare a look toward [member="Faith Organa"] just long enough to shoot her a grin before returning his gaze to his partner.

"In Alderaan places I thought I'd see you, this wasn't one of them."

Things had been quiet for Ra lately, at least in terms of political meetings and gatherings. Now an invitation had been given to her by Alexandra and Faith to come to Alderaan for a meeting of various government heads and leaders. This had come as a surprise to her. Word must be starting to get out that she was the leader of the Dark Hand, a movement set up to fight the Sith Empire.

Her people and friends had been the ones in the spotlight while she led from the shadows. It was how she liked it and now the spotlight was turned to her. Coming in with Faith though and watching her son, she looked around the room to see a few other familiar faces.

Nodding to Harris, her attention was quickly drawn away from him by the approach of Josh. Faith had way more experience at these kinds of events and Ra felt confident she could handle things on her own. Giving Josh a smile, she still wasn't entirely sure if showing emotion openly was wise. She had always been a closed book until she got to know a person or group of people.

The people she saw here were friends and allies, there were a very few she didn't know. Deciding to show some things, it was should be clear how she felt around Josh. Of anybody in the room, he knew her the most and Ra was quite comfortable with him. His joke wasn't missed and brought glitter to her eyes. Shaking her head slightly as she reached him, she went up on her toes to give him a kiss on the cheek.

"Then maybe you should start looking in the right places?"

[member="Josh DragonsFlame"] [member="Premier William Harris I"] [member="Faith Organa"]

The comment, and the kiss, got a laugh out of him. "Well I certainly think I'm right where I need to be considering you're here" He teased right back. Showing emotion openly wasn't a problem for Josh, it wasn't something that he was always about though. In his original run as Grandmaster, he'd been very much like Ra, showing little emotion in public places or meetings or gatherings. Keeping his cards close. Granted, he still kept his cards close... But he was fine to show emotion more openly. He was a human being, he had learned. He could afford to act like one instead of limiting himself. And odds are if he kept reserved, Alexandra, Ra and others would get bored. Couldn't have that.

He would lean down to wrap his arms around her waist, returning her slice of affection with one of his own as he would lift her just a little bit off the ground for a moment to greet her with a peck on the lips in turn, before returning her to ground level shortly after. Ra wasn't a small woman either, which made the interaction all the more hilarious looking but Josh was just... Josh. Standing at 6'5 to her 5'8, it was a necessary thing. Well, okay maybe he could have just leaned down further, but full on bending his knees just to reach her might seem more mocking than affectionate, he had thought.

"Thank kark you're here too. I am the absolute worst when it comes to standing around awkwardly by myself at parties" He joked. "Is there anyone here you were hoping to speak to?"

He looked toward [member="Alexandra Feanor"] and [member="Faith Organa"] a moment before looking back at her. "There's a reunion or two I'm looking to have, but they seem a bit too busy to entertain a second in command."

Technically, he had been in charge since Arisa had gone off on her little expedition. But he liked to joke about it.

Eye of Solomon

Guest
E
The distinct high-pitched whine of servomotors accompanied the dull scrape of iron on stone.

Eyes drawn towards the source of the sound would find a sole individual emerging from the gloom of the chamber's threshold, a heavy wool cloak concealed the majority of his features save for the mechanical digits that protruded out from the hem of his sleeves and the mechanical feet that bore him across the smooth stone floor. Heavy chains hung from his body, primarily to keep the cloak tight against him, with the broken ends dragging behind him.

His face was hidden behind the wide brim of a hood, though the apex of the hood seemed to be concave and dip down in far more than it should. What could be seen from under the hood was what looked like a skinless jaw, teeth still protruding upward, attached to various cables and cybernetics trailing down into the hidden torso beneath.

-: I bring greetings from my Master, the Emperor of the Tenth Sith Empire and the true Dark Lord of the Sith. He sends me in his stead for he cannot attend personally, the Outer Rim is a hive of lawlessness and injustice and requires constant oversight. I am commanded to apologize on his behalf, Lady Feanor. He has also commanded me to assure you that your reunion will come soon enough. :-

The voice that exuded from the creature's mouth, though it never moved, was highly mechanical and synthetic. Yet, underneath the layers of artificial speech could be heard the weak tormented voice of a man, drowned out by all of the modifications committed upon his person.

Skeletal machine-like hands reached up to pull back the heavy hood, revealing a visage of horror. Over seventy-five percent of the man's head was completely missing, in its place only parts of the mandible, the temporal bone, and the occipital bone remained. Capping the ruins of his head was a flat top of cybernetic sensors, built out of cold unforgiving black durasteel and trimmed with brilliant aurodium. The chains encircling his body were loosened, the robe falling down around the cyborg's ankles along with them.

If his head was horrifying, then his body was something out of a depraved nightmare. Whoever the original man was, only his torso remained to remind the galaxy of such humble origins. All of his limbs were crude and malignant prosthetics, skeletal cybernetic arms and legs covered with scraps of synthetic flesh to expose servos, wires, and other mechanic instruments. The living flesh upon the torso was pallid and clammy, crossed with so many scars that it looked like he had been torn apart, pieces back together, and torn apart again innumerable times before finally being compiled into this horrid monstrosity of metal and flesh.

Hung around his neck was a simple metal dog tag, one inscribed with information that would indicate that the man used to create this amalgamation was part of the military forces that were surrendered to the Sith Empire upon Commenor's capitulation.

Splenderific! In a few short moments the summit area was filling up quite nicely with even more of the wealthier sort. With a more significant crowd it certainly went a ways to liven up the place, and the various conversations started to blend together to that improbably ever present din that happened when groups started to open their mouths to gab.

A very specific scent of smoke murked up the space to the Major’s right, and from the sound of the gait she could only surmise that Agent Craig had finally joined her. Before they could take the time to shake a stick they were joined by an Unknown Echani who revealed themselves to be the current Senator of Balmorra. The bespectacled woman smiled and tipped her hat at the sight of a bow, pleasantly saying:

“Harley of Balmorra, you say? It’s a pleasure meeting you. This here…” She flourished her right hand to accentuate her escort, “...is a business partner. Let’s call him Mr. Blue. And you may… call… me…”

Something tickled the Force in terrible swirls, and it drew attention to itself. A messenger, an [member="Eye of Solomon"] that colored the metaphorical smell in the air with its stink. In actuality due to the frankly nightmarish state of the flesh beneath the hood you probably might smell the decomposing bits of skin before you heard the thing. It made its way to a specific woman standing in the center of the temple before revealing itself.

What an interesting blend of monster and machine. Splendid! Horrid! Truly magnificent!

“Begging your pardon… but… look at that.”

The Major walked passed Harley and left Agent Craig behind without another thought, drawn to the new guest to examine the eldritch thing in all its cruel glory.

It addressed the woman as Lady Feanor and relayed its message. Overall, the Major found it to be decidedly Sith of Carnifex to go through the trouble of arranging this. But she couldn’t doubt it wasn’t one Hell of a message to be sending. Curious, the Director walked within a few meters of the exchange, curious to see what kind of reaction this… thing would receive.

Craig stood stoically still behind his superior, as the senator approached. His body language began taut, and tight. His jaw, clenched, and his eyes narrowed at the approaching threat. Fenstmacher, a name to remember it would seem. Perhaps this would be a good time to gather intelligence, glad hand some of these pompous bastards, and see about what sort of information they could cleave from the increasingly inebriated aristocrats. Standing tall, the agent seemingly rolled his eyes as the Major introduced him. Blue. Really? That was the best she had for him. A look of scorn came over him, as he took another drag from his cigar, blowing out another puff of toxic smoke.

And then, the Major disappeared, seemingly having the attention of a small ferret, she was captivated by- Dear Lord what the hell was that?!

Craig's cigar slipped from his mouth, and onto the ground. His face contorted into a mixture of disgust and intrigue. It was like a hairless wookie, hideous, but you couldn't look away. His eyes glanced over at the Major as she investigated. Part of Dominic wondered how the hell the woman, who seemingly held none of the skills or discipline of spycraft, managed to ascend to the top of the First Order's extensive intelligence network. However, that would be neither here nor there.

Decidedly, Dominic offered a hand to the Balmorran senator. If the Major was going to go galavanting and gawking at the gross monster, then at least he would take the initiative. Dominic offered a smile to Senator Fenstermacher, "As my esteemed colleague said, my name is Blue." He continued, he accentuated his words in a Core-world accent, rather than his nominal Outer Rim drawl. "But that's short for Blumenthal. Hieronymous Blumenthal, at your service senator." He allowed himself a chuckle, and a polite bow of his head, "Helluva crowd we have here," He mused, gesturing to the ball of horrors sitting close by. "But I suppose the Core worlds always offer some entertainment.

Ella did her best to hide her emotions. Inwardly she smiled.

Opportunity had presented itself.

The ugly visage of the cybernetic monstrosity had captured the imagination of Feanor's guests. At the thought of the self-proclaimed Jedi Grandmaster Ella genuinely struggled not to burst out into laughter. All these guests brought here together under the excuse of diplomacy but blatantly accepting her invites with ulterior motives to the contrary. First Order, Silver Jedi, New Republic, Commenor and Alderaan nobles... and now the Sith Empire. If they were here to genuinely seek diplomatic relations without gathering intelligence or information that would be useful to all their separate causes then they were foolish. Somehow Ella suspected this was not the case. Philosophical differences aside most- if not all- of Feanor's guests contained the degree of cunning that she had come to associate and know in the weak. It was how they compensated for their lack of strength.

But to think that Feanor had arranged this was laughable in of itself. And now here was an envoy to the enemy that they all seemed to share in common allowed to set foot in this summit. If Ella didn't know better she would assume that Feanor wanted something to go wrong in this summit. So many divided fools, each with their own transgressions made against one or the other, brought together under one roof to discuss peace. If there was anything in the materialistic world in which they all inhabited that could be taken as literal proof that peace was a lie then this was it. Taking a glass of wine into her hand Ella quietly raised a hand a few inches into the air to mockingly toast the idiot and her summit.

After taking a sip and placing the glass back down onto the marble stone wall behind her Ella begun to maneuver her way among the crowd to seize the moment. A fools loss was a winners gain. Three months ago the New Republic Senate had agreed to form a committee to oversight military matters after amendments were made based on the recommendations made by [member="Sankt Yora"]. Following a brief meeting with [member="Tobias Dracks"] on Carida Ella had been elected to join that committee. In the intervening months since joining the committee Ella had done nothing with the oversight powers she had been granted from her Senatorial duties. She had covered up her inactivity through a series of reports regarding her duties to Humbarine whilst secretly using the time to search for a Sith Apprentice. She had yet to be successful in this regard.

But now that this summit had been convened and it's guests had been revealed to her Ella only had eyes for one man at this event. Navigating her way through the guests Ella searched and found him: Noah Corek, General to the New Republic. Stopping before the General Ella broke into her well practiced smile and greeted him. "Hello General. I've been looking forward to meeting you for quite sometime since the Military Oversight committee had been formed. Apologises for not meeting you sooner but I have been busy away on diplomatic relations for Humbarine. I am Ella Nova. It is nice to meet you."

"Of course not Grandmaster Feanor. I live to serve but just so you-And she's gone. Fuck I hate when she does that. So Senator-And he's gone too damnit." Noah sighed as he looked around and saw he was now alone in the garden and threw up his hands in defeat, it was futile to complain or even question it at this point. Noah began to walk towards the security command center in hopes of getting a status update as well as getting suited up in his armor. It took a good minute to walk to the command center but Noah did it in a little under a minute, thank the Force for long legs.

As Noah stepped in he let his eyes sweep over the command center he grinned as he saw about a dozen of his commandos running to and fro, looking at cameras that had been set up particularly for this event, with the assurance to Alex that they'd be removed once the summit was over. A young female Twi'lek Sergeant, Restav if Noah remembered correctly, came over to him with a datapad and handed it too him. No one in the Commandos, or any special forces unit in the Republic for that matter, saluted Noah. One because he hated formalities and two because if they were in a combat zone saluting someone was an obvious way an enemy could identify an officer.

Looking down at the datapad Noah began to scroll through camera feeds before something caught his attention, a feed of Alex and a few other people. Noah saw Alex with her ex and her kids, he knew of them of course because of reading Alex's dossier which seemed weird but was understandable knowing his history. As he looked at the screen and saw Alex's happiness he saw IT approach. Noah felt his blood run cold as he saw what could only be described as a monstrosity approach her and speak to her. Noah could be described as many things and protective was definetely one of them. Noah sprung into action. Almost literally he threw down the datapad and approached a nearby locker.

Opening it Noah pulled out his armor and it's bodyglove. Quickly stripping out of his fatigues he pulled on his bodyglove before strapping his armor in place. Next he reached in and withdrew his sword and honor blade, throwing the sword and its sheath over his back and attach his honor blade and its sheath magnetically to his left shoulder. Grabbing his rifle out next he decided these circumstances called for a special type of ammunition. Popper rounds as Noah called them were specially designed with a Neuranium penetrator to defeat almost any personal armor one could field. Popping a magazine into his rifle Noah chambered a round, checking the chamber to make sure it was feeding properly, and once he did this he grabbed a few extra mags out of the locker and slipped them into the pouches on his armor.

Checking the foregrip on his rifle to make sure it was secure and the lower power CQC scope to make sure it was aligned Noah turned to the Lieutenant in charge of the command center. "Lieutenant you're in charge until I return and hope that this goes well." Grabbing his helmet Noah hung it on his belt as he walked out of the room. It took a couple minutes to get to the summit room and when he did he got an unwanted surprise, a politician. "Ah yes Senator Nova I've read your dossier. It is good to meet you and I will be more than willing to talk with you but right now there is a security situation to deal with." Smiling and nodding Noah walked away towards Alex and the monster. Noah had been informed of Ella Nova by Alex and had read up on her because Alex had suspicions but that needed to be dealt with later.

Finally Noah made it to the area and stopped. Slipping his helmet on Noah popped the joints in his neck and shoulders before turning the corner and shouldering his rifle, Noah put his reticle directly on the monsters head and poising his finger on the trigger. But Noah didn't fire, Alex was the boss here and if she wanted him to neutralize it he would, if not.....well he'd be very unhappy but he'd be compliant.

It was the subtle things which gave away what the other was feeling, and it didn't take an empath to see that the General had not been expecting the Empire's envoy to this summit. Ella made note of this fine point for another day. Feanor hadn't told Corek about this. Did that mean that she hadn't been expecting it to come neither? Or had she simply let it slip her mind? Perhaps her arrogance had blinded her to the truth that whilst she might have been content to let the Empire send one of it's monsters in the fray perhaps the others at this convention would not have shared her feelings on the matter? Regardless, when Corek leaped into action and drew his weapon on the Empire's envoy Ella knew that she hadn't needed to prompt him into action as she had been planning.

Turning around the corner Ella settled herself out of sight for the moment. Careful to look around she subtly felt out with the Force. Ella didn't need to be a psychic to know that there was some security in the palace. Laughable as it was that Feanor had invited members of the First Order and seemingly an envoy from the Sith Empire she still was a Jedi- and a proclaimed Grandmaster at that- and so it was in her nature to make sure that her invited guests were protected. A careful and superstitious woman Ella did not want her actions here to be discovered. If one iota of evidence was made against her that she had something to do with anything going wrong at the summit then that would put the Grand Plan in jeopardy. She would not allow that.

Her senses told her that nearby there were two cameras looking in her general vicinity. She concentrated. Through the Force Ella could tell their trajectory. It was simple photography: a camera had to know where to point itself first before it could capture what it was seeing. With this in mind Ella made some simple adjustments to where she was standing before reaching into her comlink and sending a coded transmission to the Ayrix. When she checked to see if the message had gone through she deactivated the device and shattered its inner compartments with a quick bash against one of the garden's pillars.

Cleaning the outer edges of the device so that her fingerprints would be removed Ella then discarded the comlink into a nearby bush, leaving it hidden among the foliage. When she was done covering her tracks she took the moment to re-concentrate on her hiding her powers and her Force signature would disappear again. Unfamiliar and eerie to those powerful enough in the Force to sense it. Undoubtedly dark side in nature. And was it a coincidence it had appeared when the Eye of Solomon had appeared? Unlikely.

In space the Sun Guards of Sojourn worked on the bequest of their mistress. They had just recovered the Initium, the prototype transport that Darth Ayra had been using for many years since her days when she moved between Chandrila and the Hunter's Moon when the word had been given. A coded transmission from the planet surface that gave them permission to act. Together a compliment of fifty-one Sun Guards filled the single Annihilator-class shuttle that was docked in the Indispensable-class Flagship and it's pilot programmed a course to the planet surface below. Engaging it's cloak before takeoff the Annihilator cleared the Ayrix's hangar bay and begun to make it's way down to the surface.

Alexandra Feanor

The Lady in Silver/Grey Historian
Alexandra was far too happy to continue speaking or complaining or anything as she knelt there and hugged the two children that she loved above all else. These two kids that she barely got to see on a normal week but that was part of the problem with her new position and the fact that Vulpesen and the kids were no longer within her home and would likely never be so. Alexandra regretted her past and the instance that had split her from them but she was not going to sacrifice this moment, which is when her eyes darkened and her face contorted with anger and something close to rage, unable to stop the emotion as she started to stand, speaking to the kids.

"Children... see your father... please." She stepped past them and headed off the being before it came anywhere near her kids, glaring daggers as it loudly announced its presence and though itself cute by talking about her reunion with Carnifex. This only served to further increase her rage and as she stood there, it was very hard not to rip one of the spears or staffs kept nearby in one of the training rings. None of them had a blade, but Alexandra was confident the force would give her more than was needed to deal with the being if it thought to strike.

That was when she got some semblance of control over herself.

Carnifex, whether he had known what he had done in sending this monster to her home, was insulting her and her very existence in this place. It was a place of nature and life, that had been spared the vong forming of Alderaan under the One Sith, that had existed in her care for forty years, and that's nexus was a connection not only to the force, but life itself for Alexandra, holding part of her very being. This creature's very presence was an poorly thought out insult to her. She wanted to get rid of it right now, send it to some ravine and tear its body apart before taking the dogtags and bringing them to the man's family, and if they could not be found, giving him a public burial and honoring him. She shifted her right foot, ready to reach out and tear this thing apart where it stood.

But she had to be good, had to control herself. She was a Jedi, emotions needed to be controlled and not acted on, especially her anger and darker thoughts. With everyone's emotions getting higher in this place, Noah having a weapon aimed on the abomination, the weird fascination coming from [member="The Major"], and the anger and protectiveness coming from [member="Vulpesen"] himself, Alexandra had to be careful about how much of it she took in, her mind still highly empathetic, especially in this place. This nexus was like a hotspot for her, lessening the anger and hate from others but that had to go somewhere and normally she could contain it but right now her hands were clenched so tight that they had turned white.

It was then that something kicked off and her head snapped to the right, almost so quickly it looked as if someone else had attempted to break her neck. There was a outburst of dark energy and now Alexandra was even more cautious about proceeding. She had already felt the last shuttle arrive and Solan had informed her and the ground team there would be no others. The Mandalor was the last one, [member="Yasha Cadera"] was no doubt nearby and likely already coming over to confront the monster or try to lessen Alexandra's own anger.

"Carnifex, or whoever is on the other side of this... abomination. I know you can hear or see what is going on, and if this thing works like how I suspect, you would also be able to feel the area it is in as well. Though I could be wrong so let me be very frank with you. Firstly, I am not amused by the messsenger, and I will be promising you that it will not be leaving this planet in one piece by the end of the night. Now, with that said, if you could not feel it yourself, there was a sudden spike of force energy a moment ago, and considering your puppet is standing infront of me, I know that it was not that spike. Did you send any Sith here, or am I in the presence of an unwanted guest who has taken it upon themselves to be a very poor taste when it comes to humor..." She paused, looking at [member="Noah Corek"] and speaking.

"General, if you would please activating the shield generators, that would be most appreciated. I suspect you all would appreciate a bit of safety tonight so I ask that you bear with me in allowing my temple's personal shield network to be powered up. Something tells me that one of us is not quite so open about who they are, and I intend to complete this summit of ours, regardless of their interference. If everyone would please make their way to the main hall, we can begin with the Summit here momentarily..." She finished, letting everyone take in what she said and then looking back at the Abomination infront of her.

Hate had not left her eyes, but now she was curious about something else.

"If you are connected to this abomination, I will give you a single Warning Carnifex. Do not send one of these things near my home ever again. And Ill be chipping in a favor, if you do not mind. Should you see any individuals that would fit the idea as to an enemy of the Republic, one who you would not mind giving up, send the information to our mutual companion... she will then know how to get it to me. If she is listening herself... thank you." With that, she grimaced. "Your abomination will remain intact until the end of the summit... but it will be kept far from the rest of my guests, and do not expect it back once I have concluded this summit. I am certain your lady of secrets, or shadows, or whatever Raaf is can explain how I can ensure of that."

This is where she was done talking and waved off [member="Noah Corek"], and [member="Vulpesen"] if required. No one would touch [member="Eye of Solomon"], as that insult was for her to deal with later.

For now, she needed a drink, and maybe another hug from her kids. She felt drained and tired, especially as the shield would begin to fill the sky and cover Alexandra's temple. As an extra level of security, she reached to her side and activated a transmitter that would bring a few dozen wardroids online that were kept in housing units throughout the forest.

“What do you mean?” Luther said impatiently. “I thought the food as complementary? Gratis?” The waiter gave a smile that was far too insincere for Luther’s taste. “You are not on the guest list, sir” The man’s tone grated on Luther’s ears. “Only those on the list have meals reserved for them”. Luther scowled, looking down at the small bowl of food on the waiter’s tray. The man had identified it as pollo alla cacciatora, and the smell of the meal wafting into his nose was intoxicating. Eventually his stomach won out against his stubbornness. “Bah, I’ll pay for it” Luther muttered, pulling out a credit chit. The irony that he was, in part, now funding Republic was not lost on him.

The food was delicious at least, and a warm meal was doing wonders at improving his mood. He looked on curiously as a Chiss man approached, sticking out his hand to shake. He put the remains of his meal down, grasping the man’s hand firmly and returning a small bow of his own. “I’m a student of modern behaviour” Luther said in response to the man’s. “I like to attend these events when I can. I’m always curious as to how these events go down. So many creative minds, everyone pushing their own ideas. And the intrigue!” He smiled and retrieved his bowl, raising his fork to eat. He paused, the fork inches from his mouth as he spotted something in the corner of his eye.

He thought at first that he must be having another psychotic break, but it seemed the monstrous form was real. He dropped his fork back into his bowl, his appetite lost, and discarded the bowl on a nearby table. “Some here have poor taste, however” he said. “Not sure what I am to learn from that.

He shook his head, clearing the apparition from his mind. It seemed far from harmless but he figured it was security's problem at the moment. So Luther simply moved so he need not look at it. “But forgive me, spouting nonsense without even introducing myself. They call me Red” His leg quivered, and he leaned back on the table before he tumbled to the ground. “Short for Redford” he continued, as if nothing was wrong. “Tobias Redford. And you are?”

Voph's felt something. He turned from the conversation between [member="Lady Kay"] and the others and looked behind him. His brow furrowed as he searched, casting his gaze out in the direction the signal had come from. He saw the flurry of activity around the droid...no... Voph frowned. He was all too familiar with an abomination like this. It was a man. Or was, at any rate. But that wasn't what caused him concern. The force surge. It didn't come from the droid. He mused aloud, his gaze turning in the direction the surge had come from, "Why would the Sith send envoys at all...much less two of them...?"

He turned back to Kay and her friend, and bowed shortly. "If you will excuse me, your highness, duty calls..." He turned and began weaving his way through the crowd, pulling his gauntlet up to his mouth. He spoke quietly so as not to alarm any of the attendees more than they might already be, considering [member="Alexandra Feanor"] 's response to the metal monstrosity. "Ears on, people. Something's happening. Overwatch protocol." He'd come on his usual envoy ship, an Aquila class. And now it was sitting in orbit taking notes on anyone approaching the planet quite unseen to all but the naked eye. He glanced over towards a small collection of ambassadors talking amongst themselves. Voph caught the eye of [member="Riamah"] for the briefest of moments. His brow furrowed deeper. A silent signal. He turned towards the source of the surge, and followed it out into the gardens. A human. Woman, from the looks of her. Voph's suspicions were confirmed when he felt the traces of one masking their presence. From the woman.

He stepped out into the garden, drawing his lightsaber, but not yet activating the blade. The Miralukan paused a safe distance away from [member="Ella Nova"] , mentally preparing himself. "Your timing is good, but the execution needs work. Or did you forget to account for the higher planes of sense, human?"

Everyone's attention had been taken by this... Interesting individual that had been sent by good 'ol Kaine. Josh normally would not get involved with Sith Empire emissaries... Especially considering he knew Ra's feelings on them, and she was standing right there. But the blasters being drawn were causing things to become far more tense than they should be. And the darkness he could sense... Something was about to go down, he knew it. If he could cool things down a bit, put others like [member="Alexandra Feanor"] at ease... Perhaps they might be able to tackle a potential situation with a cooler set of heads. And by what he could sense from Alexandra, he needed to act quickly.

"Excuse me for a minute, darling. I'll join you shortly" Josh spoke toward [member="Riamah"] as his expression grew serious for a moment. In a matter that the woman knew from him well enough to know that he had something on his mind, and it was a matter he was taking seriously at that. But his expression softened as he approached the ever-growing crowd. Considering Josh's size, it wouldn't be hard for him to push through and walk past Alexandra... Who he got the feeling, for one reason or another... Was being manipulated. Someone, he felt like as he eavesdropped on the conversation she was trying to have with this... Individuals's master, was playing her. There was another presence, and it wasn't that thing. There was one person that Josh was suspicious of, from Jyoti's report... But who knows if they were responsible?

But for now, this creature, or human even, who knows? As grotesque as they looked, they didn't deserve the abuse they were being given. They were just a messenger. And a possible key for calming this lot down in the case something happened.

"Peace, Grandmaster" Josh spoke softly toward Alexandra before approaching [member="Eye of Solomon"] of all... People. If anyone was going to remind everyone why they were here... He supposed he might as well be the guy.

And then he would extend his hand with a gentle smile.

"Well met. I am Josh DragonsFlame, of the Silver Jedi Order" He greeted them calmly and warmly. "I know who your Master is, but you haven't yet done us the courtesy of giving your own name. Would you do us that courtesy and tell us your name?"

Of course, Josh was no fool. The idea this person, if it was a person, or an associate... Might attack him, did indeed cross his mind. And he was ready for it. Ready for an attack from anyone here, friend or foe. While he kept his expression and demeanor friendly, deep down he was a calculating machine preparing for any potential attackers around him or out of sight.
