Skilled Marksman: If you believe his family Noah came out of the womb with a blaster in his hand, though his skills with a ranged weapon backs up this claim vigorously. His Mandalorian training was only refined by the training he received from both sniper and commando training in the army.
Mandalorian/Commando Training: As a Mandalorian Noah was raised and trained in a variety of disciplines from combat first aid to demolitions to hand-to-hand combat. Much like with his marksmanship this training was honed to a razors edge by his time in the army.
Playing Dumb: Noah often leans into the stereotype of being just a dumb trigger puller to keep people off guard when he is around other people that he doesn't know very well. This act can often to lead to people underestimating him.
Extremely Intelligent: Despite the act he puts on Noah is actually an extremely intelligent individual. He actually holds several degrees, a Masters in History and Mechanical Engineering and Bachelors in Electrical and Chemical Engineering.
Short Fuse: When encountering people he is unfamiliar with Noah is known to have a rather short and explosive temper. This tends to lead him into situations that are rather...violent due to his perception of people tending to be that they are grating on his nerves.
Distrustful: Part of the above mentioned short fuse Noah more often than not distrusts unknown people, seeing these people as unknown variables that he doesn't know how they will react or act in certain situations. This often leads him to seem aloof at best or hostile at worst to strangers.
APPEARANCE:
Even though Noah is almost breaking sixty years of age he is still in great shape mostly due to both healthy eating and frequent exercise. Of course even being half Morellian, a long lived species, hasn't completely left Noah immune to aging as his hair is starting to grey in some areas and wrinkles are starting to barely form. Outside of his military service Noah has allowed his hair and beard to grow out, partly because his wives like it and partly because he does, but mostly because of his wives. Below the neck Noah sports a rather large amount of battle damage and tattoos, the main attractions being a Omega Pyre insignia tattoo on his right shoulder, a bevy of tally marks from his right collar bone down to the mid point of his ribs, a rather nasty blaster wound on his right hip, a knife wound just below his sternum, almost fatal is you ask him, and lastly a rather large shrapnel wound on his left pectoral from a close call with a artillery shell.
BIOGRAPHY:
Not much is known about Noah's early life, ages ten to thirty, with the stories even from Noah himself often changing and shifting depending on the company and only his family know the truth. Some of the constants of his stories was the he was born on Coruscant, he has two siblings Asha and Flint who are four years and eight years younger than him respectively. His mother was Alean Corek III, a Mandalorian mercenary/bounty hunter, and his father was Flint Michael Corek, a Morellian mercenary/bounty hunter, his father had took Alena's name due to her proud Mandalorian heritage and refusing to change her name.
His father left either before or after his younger brother was born and this lead to Noah having to help raise his siblings. At the age of eighteen Noah joined the Galactic Republic Army, passing a aptitude test after basic training and being commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant. Almost as soon as he was commissioned he volunteered for Commando training and upon completion he was transferred to a Commando unit where he'd spend the next fifteen years.
What exactly Noah did in those fifteen years is hazy at best as all traces of his particular unit are not mentioned in any official Republic Army reports. All that is known is he came out of the Army with a chest full of medals, ribbons and commendations, most of which were discarded into the nearest trash compactor, but more importantly a jaded view of government and politics. From there he joined up with the Omega Pyre private military corporation, intent on fighting for himself and the people next to him rather for any government.
During his time in the Pyre Noah participated in a few dozen operations with them, from clearing pirates out on Hoth to fighting against the Lords of the Fringe on worlds such as Artrisia and Kayri. On his downtime Noah used his money earned from the Pyre to purchase a controlling majority and interest in a little known defense company, Hekler'Kok Defense Industries, and began to build it up. Noah earned more than a few commendations from the Pyre for combat achievements and the like but eventually the Pyre, and the government that supported it the Omega Protectorate, began to wane and was subsumed into the growing Galactic Alliance.
By this time Noah was a Colonel in the Pyre and its field commander for all intents and purposes. The Alliance commissioned him at the same rank in their own military and allowed him to keep his command of the Pyre. He did this for a little while longer but in the end left and went into semi-retirement as he chafed under the new rules and regulations of the Alliance, still a commissioned officer but in the Alliance reserves.
It was during this period of inactivity that he was approached by representatives of the growing New Republic to help them with their fledgling Special Forces program. He began helping the program through developing training regimens, doctrine and even equipment for them, eventually he became so integral to them that they offered him a commission as a General and billet as head of New Republic Special Forces. He struggled with his opinions on the subject before finally deciding to accept the commission.
It was during his time there that he would meet
Alexandra Feanor
, a former Sith and Jedi whose current alignment fell into a gray area. At the time she was working for the New Republic Navy as a intelligence officer. It didn't take long for Noah to fall head over heels for the woman and they began a relationship that would end in marriage and children. Alex had informed him that she also had a lover she wanted to keep and he surprised himself by being okay with this, even deciding to meet the lover.This lover just happened to be
Yasha Cadera
better known by her title of Mand'alor the Infernal. This somewhat worried Noah as his clan had been dar'manda since the beginning of the Mandalorian Wars almost five millennia ago. However at the urging of Alex he met with Yasha and after his clan was returned to the fold of the Mandalorians. During this time the New Republic began to wane and Noah would eventually shift his allegiance to the United Clans of Mandalore.He would serve as both a General and a member of the Alor'e council. During this time he would come to respect, admire and eventually fall in love with Yasha, a fact which delighted Alexandra, and they entered into a polygamous marriage between the three of them. This marriage led to Noah adopting Yasha's children Adara, Magnus and Girak-Kaine as well as the birth of two sets of twins, the older pair Morgan and Noah Corek Jr. and the younger pair Alexander and Cahira.
Eventually due to tragic events the United Clans of Mandalore fell and Noah and his wives spirited themselves and the children away to their estate of Alderaan where they now try to live a rather normal life. During this time Noah would draw up the plans for and create the Galactic Foreign Legion, a private military/mercenary organization dedicated to giving soldiers shunted aside from their former governments a place to ply the skills they had learned in their time in service.
Now Noah, his wives and his children live in relative comfort and safety and conduct most of their business from their home, though he still throws on his Beskar'gam every now and again to keep himself sharp.
