A Call for Help - SJO Dominion of Noverskaa (Hex AC26)

Location: Lesorskaa City
Objective one: Stop the rebels
Near: [member="Charlie Nooran"] l [member="Arlen Rossi"] (Don't worry I won't mess with your fight)

Tom walked out of the council chambers after receiving a ping from Genesis about the Sith forces breaking into an armoury. Tom had been trying for weeks to weed them out but it just hadn't worked as they hid among the other refugees. And now they had broken in his secret armoury. This was not good. Not good at all. "And they have our weapons. Right then send out all our forces and droids against them. Hold them off till the silvers can beat them back."

He smiled as he spotted Charlie who had come to the planet early to assist him with some of his problems. "Pleasure again Charlie if you could remain here while I go deal with who I think is in charge that would be great." The Owls and Cats his personal black ops unit was arrayed around the council buildings while The Cat approached him. "Are you sure you want to do that alone sir?" Tom nodded "Amelia you and your team have always been an amazing asset to me but I need to do this alone. Help young charlie here defend the council chambers and make sure The Owl knows as well don't want her running after me."

He would then place a force cloak over himself and his armour the Noverskaan Wolves. He suppressed all the force abilities before slipping off towards the entrance of the armoury to stop the leader who would be surely there. As he left his forces began defending the city from any possible attacks while many engaged in fighting on the streets. None had yet reached the council chambers but it wouldn't be long before the cities defenders would be overwhelmed not without additional help.

Objective One: Tell [member="Coren Starchaser"] and [member="Cambria Zadira"] to get down and party.

Genesis heard the call answering it first with a yes before finally being asked to direct the members of the jedi to the best positioning for them. She appeared before the two looking them up and down. First she looked at the male "Hey their good looking. I could use you and whoever you got down on the ground preferably around the capital city. We are taking a beating and we need some more people on the assisting of making sure that our forces don't get over run and that the civilian refugees caught up in this are freed from their mind control."

She would then look at the female. "Oh my a blue twilek all the things i bet you can do. But anyways the problem we have is a known Sith Lord from a well extinct empire has been fighting us for a long while but this is the first time he has shown this usage of his powers. We know bits and pieces about him and Tom is going to end him and any leaders near the armoury but we need it so they are disconnected from their poor mind slaves first. Best of luck." She would then disappear leaving behind some coordinates for where they were to land.

Objective one: So the wrong spot but alright now you get to deal with it
[member="Valkren Calderon"] l @Asaraa Vaashe l @Syd Celsius l @Kiso l [member="Yuroic Xeraic"] l [member="Zoe Rosella"] l @Auberon

The members of The Family would continue working with Zoe as they cleaned up the warehouse before spotting multiple unknown people entering their warehouse. To say they were jumpy was beyond what happened here as every gun was drawn upon anyone who wasn't a member of the family. With a rather tall man Dan Tray would look them over realising who they were. "Buncha Jedi in the wrong spot. This is Family turf you want the armoury over near Lesorskaa City did that AI genesis feed you the wrong spot because if not then we are gonna have an issue." He would get everyone back to work.

He would then stand next to Zoe looking the Jedi people up and down. "You might wanna take my group as well as some of the boss mans." He would hand her a Hidden Data Pad with the details of the First Wolves, The Lizard Knights Men, The Lizard Knights Snipers, The Lizard Knights Heavies, The Lizard Knights Protectors. "I am sure [member="Vorkaliin Barass"] won't mind of we take them surely." He would continue eyeing the Jedi till they left. They had come in force to a place they were not supposed to be and they would leave or be forced out.
Rexy_divider.png

Objective one: we shall rebel and over come.

The rebel leaders cheered as they realised the Jedi had largely gone to the wrong spot. It gave them more time to get the weapons out and about. As well as look over these beast robots and crack their encryption. Someone had made them hard to reprogram who was enemy and who was an ally but it would be easier with all the people in the wrong spot.

Further back into the armoury with his hood up sat Canni Bale Boof. He didn't take a Darth name as it wasn't what his old master had taught him. They being [member="Rowin Taff"] had taught them there was no need for Darth titles as these only pointed out who was the easiest and best to target. The Jedi had never used special titles for their masters, why should the Sith. So he sat controlling the civilians into a frenzy making the defensive forces having a hard time while also keeping his mind ready for Tom Taff to appear. It wouldn't be long now. So close.

Location: Space Station
Objective: Trade Expo

Mykes was nervous. He knew it was the least of his worries, but feeling what his husband could feel, knowing what he was thinking right now was worrying him. There was something going on down there. Their connection was strong and while he did not know exactly what he was thinking, he could tell there was trouble. He was leaning against a window of the station in a private room, looking down to the planet. If he had [member="Tom Taff"] up here with him, he would feel a lot more confident. But rather, he was to manage the expo on behalf of Mirdirmorut. Mykes sighed to himself.

Once he thought himself ready, Mykes Taff left the window, turning away from the planet and leaving the private space. And out into the expo itself. Trying to remain composed, with the noticeable limp his prosthetic leg sometimes gave he went along to the booth of Mirdirmorut. Holo-projectors of vehicles such as the AAD-7 anti air and the MR-02 tank, as well as droids on display like the C-3 drone and 2M surgical droid.

At the back was something covered. That, was his personal project. Going behind the booth, he activated one of the C-3's. It hovered about. It was unarmed, and simply more of a display to show it around. It seemed to look at him for a moment, then flew off but remained just in sight. Mykes leaned forward against the booth desk, looking over the products they had on a datapad list.

Objective: Trade expo

"I mean, there is a reason as to why so many eschew mortars"

"They may be easy to maintain and fire, but they have a minimum range as is the case with just about anything with a blast radius, and even then at maximum elevation... let's say that it depends on the relative elevation of the target to the weapon"

Jessica had no problems with terrain or tri-dimensional movement, but she knew so many that struggled with at least one. If one struggled with terrain but not tri-dimensional movement, the Navy was usually the place of choice for someone like that if they still wanted to fight, and, if a pilot, it would become a vac-head, that is, a pilot attached to orbital operations. But if one struggled with 3D motion and was otherwise just fine with terrain, a boot-on-the-ground role would be a better fit (just not within artillery, even direct-fire, and anti-aircraft is not a good idea either). It came to no surprise that some people still somehow made it to flag rank in factions' navies, or armies even, and struggled with either item and made it mostly because they excelled in another area, be it as a desk jockey, or some other area where the element that troubled them wasn't much of a factor. Jedi that struggled with both were common in her mind, despite the use of Force-sense/sight. She could feel the person asking her questions about the use of mortars had some issues with 3D motion.

Objective: Find a cure

As he thought, using the force wasn't enough to get rid of the illness completely. It gave them comfort and was actually more helpful than he thought it would be, but not quite enough apparently. Yet again, thoughts of his failure possibly being due to him not being skilled enough began to creep into his mind. Reggie quickly pushed that away though, leaving the room to go over what he did know.

When he was out of the patients room, Reggie sat down and pulled out a datapad that had information on what was going on. Looking over the symptoms again, the Padawan tried to figure out what he could do. He was no doctor, but that doesn't mean that he can't help. The question was just what could he do that would be most beneficial.

Moving Out
When Zoe heard that Jedi had been approaching the family's only military establishment on Noverskaa, she couldn't help but enjoy the thought of a good fight. There was no doubt that someone had sent them in the right direction and that all weapons were aimed at them as soon as they reached eye-distance as they approached. Zoe secretly wanted a fight, doing logistics day in and day out can get rather tedious however she would soon be disturbed by the arising insurgency in the cities, led by splinter groups of rogue Sith.

After listening to Dan Tray redirect the Jedi, she was informed that she would be given First Wolves and Lizard Knight troops to utilise when clearing the cities. If there truly were Sith, Zoe would not be qualified to deal with it.. at all.

After Zoe collected a platoon of these troops, with a mixture from each detachment, she gave the order to move out into the nearest city and clear out all insurgents in hope that some of the Jedi forces can concentrate more on taking out the Sith.

(Will start the attack next post!)

The robot sashayed behind Arlen with a very obvious smirk on her face. She was utterly devious. Arlen had planned to have her move out of sight to all, but that meant that she could not talk back to her without giving away her position. The Sith Bot would take advantage of this mercilessly.

"Are we there yet? Are we there yet? Are we there yet?" she sang, practically skipping behind her fellow Sith. "Say, my joints are starting to creek. Have you got any of those upgrades? Are the upgrades where we are going? Are we there yet by the way?" She asked, making sure to slow down her own pace so that she was not directly behind Arlen, no doubt expecting the woman to strike at her out of sheer annoyance, she knew that she would on the other end of this taunting.

[member="Arlen Rossi"]

Syd's face was impassive as she heard the the offer of transport, and it remained so despite the growls of the ruffians, who pointed weapons at the Jedi present, told them they were in the wrong area, (Wasn't the first time she had worked with spotty intel and if now was any indicator it wasn't the last, though that wasn't the real issue she had, it was trying not to roast everybody who pointed a weapon at her and her allies, more importantly) letting out a huff of annoyance that escaped as a few wisps of fire from her throat.

"I see..." the living weapon in the form of a woman replied. "Wrong address...honest mistake."

Syd folded her arms and floated out of the warehouse. She floated over to where [member="Valkren Calderon"] was. Surely she could be of use to these soldiers and help more of them come home alive. She felt it faintly, due to her nature, but she did take some pleasure in aiding others.

"I got pretty heavily armored ship, sir. I'll fly ahead of yours and take out any ground threats my sensors spot, unless you would prefer my direct assistance alongside your troops. In which case..." Syd trailed, summoning a ball of fire in her palm.

"...I'll be happy to ease whatever burdens you and your own face on the ground..." she finished, a small smile playing across the Geist's face as her eyes glowed bright orange, giving away her inhuman nature.

The Geist was new and unused to this form of interaction, where displaying emotion was necessary for building trust. She had never had to with the Resistors. Mainly this was because they had made her and trusted the work they had done.

She really was one of the most successful examples of a living weapon created by Jedi. At least, in her own mind she was. Her weaknesses were significant, as with any weapon, but the true success of her was in her tireless, unwavering dedication to destroying the enemies of the Jedi, and she had never once disobeyed any order given.

She was less proud about that now, and wondered if her deeds had any merit on their own or if all the credit went solely to her "programming", but results are results, and one thing that could be said about having a lethal Flame Geist on your side is that when you turned it loose on your foes, you always got results.

These Sith and their pathetic little band would burn.

A military transport was nothing like it's civilian models, the pilots and vehicles were constantly pushed to the edge, going through flight plans and permutations that a normal driver wouldn't even think about. So, when the transports went down, they didn't just leisurely settle down on the ground, the dropped out of the sky like a ton of bricks, repulsor's just kicking in as they were about to slam into the ground, bouncing the transport up for a second before it settled down, the door swinging down as Asaraa squinted her eyes against the sunlight, pulling on a pair of sunglasses as she signalled to the Marines, a team of them clearing the immediate area around the transports before moving to join the raiders on the perimeter as the Jedi hooked one hand around one of the door struts, leaning out to stare at the warehouse as she let a smile pull at her lips. She could hear the shuffling of the marines behind her, locked in their harnesses as she glanced at the warehouse where she could sense the rest of the Jedi. "Anyone in there looking for a lift?"

The body crumbled silently to the floor; dead before coming to a rest.
The two technicians & their supervisor stared in wide-eyed, open-mouthed terror. They were huddled on the cold, unforgiving durasteel floor; alone in the heart of darkness. The warehouse was one of a number in the complex - as much of interest to the invading rebel forces as any other for its' stock of supplies, fuel-cells, crates of rations, and other necessities; anything they took now would lend itself to their cause, and would hopefully make their armed insurrection less an easily squashed rebellion and provide them with the means to dig in, defending if necessary, even against an equally armed & determined foe. There was, however, a big difference between crates of food & weapons and the power provided by heavier equipment...
"If you tell me the codes, I will not kill another."
The creature's voice reverberated in her hostages' minds, filling their ears.. coaxing them, in their terror, to comply.
"B-...but.. we ca-... we don't know them! Yo- you have-"
The man who'd spoken was human, tall, with blonde hair & blue eyes. He was the supervisor - this much Darth Kali knew. She was also well-aware of the truth of his statement: They did not know the keys she required. None of them did. But that made no difference. To silence him, she struck him... but not with her fist, or the staff she leaned upon. A violent blow from an invisible hand doubled the man over so-that he wretched, spilling the contents of his stomach onto the floor at his feet. "Oofh - Blrgh!"
Saying nothing, the powerful Sith Lord turned her back on the trio of insignificant beings, pointing the head of the gnarled wooden staff she clutched in her right hand at the armed soldier standing a few feet away. He'd been watching the brief interrogation coldly... though she could sense fear beyond the man's hardened exterior. "They are our hostages. Dispose of this-" She tapped the leg of the corpse at her feet, eyes blankly staring from a head which was curved at a plainly unusual angle, "And put them with the others. If they attempt to escape, kill them."
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
Darth Kali stared at the broad, powerful blast-doors which sealed off the hallway she occupied from the Vault. The cold white lights overhead shone down, illuminating her - a dark shape against the metallic walls, ceiling, and floor. She could taste the strange tang of recirculated air on her tongue as she breathed, filling her lungs with oxygen... allowing herself a few moments of contemplation on the task ahead.
When she reopened her eyes, the cold grey-blue orbs had changed colors; red, ringed in brilliant, royal gold.
"Kisshi Krusaak... Gest'tra, Seli-Sha Frikal... Hes'w, Caas Jil... Massa-ha... Massa-ha..."
"Mass-ha."
The dull thud of her staff on the durasteel floor filled the relative silence of the hallway; in her moment of focus, it was all she heard. The third and final touch of the staff was harder than the previous - delivered with intensity, focus, and violence; as-if she were attempting to cause an earthquake from the staff alone. The Sith Lord's arms arose as the air grew heavy.
A heartbeat later, a dull rumble began... and a few moments later, the entire hallway began to shake, as-if the complex had been struck by a bomb... or a sudden quake.

“At least this lines up the enemies, huh? We’ll have to link up with the rest of the Silvers, though," the Jedi Master nodded.

"I fear the Silvers will be needing more of our help as time goes on. The Sith are getting bolder in general, which means we will have to be smarter, and more proactive, hmm? The Eclipsed Jedi can't be everywhere at once."

The comm squawked, then a blue hologram appeared above the flight console between the pilot and co-pilot's chairs. A woman's wavering image came to life with a message for both Jedi; a bit flirtatious for the Guardian's taste, but that was neither here or there. The speaker was factual though. Coren was rather good looking for a human male, that is if one cared about such things. Strength of heart was what attracted the Twi'lek Jedi more so and his was indeed strong; maybe at times a little too much for his own good.

"Roger that... Inbound to that location in two," Cambria responded simply to [member="Tom Taff"]'s AI, then the Jedi Ace feathered the shuttle's controls to take them down through the atmosphere to the coordinates provided with well practiced ease.

It was time to get to work.

Objective: 1
Allies: Silvers, [member="Cambria Zadira"]

They had their work cut out for them. Having Cambria around was always a good thing for Coren. She helped keep him grounded and was one of the Jedi who had been in the same circles as he for years now. Looking over at her as he worked the controls of the ship, he nodded. “They are getting more and more bold. Especially after Dac. The Silvers know what they’re doing, but I know they won’t turn away our help.” And the Eclipsed were doing what they could the past months after the Endgame to hunt down the Sith.

You could call it their specialty.

Looking down for a second as the hologram popped up, Coren returned his attention to the flight as he transferred the control over to Cambria. The ship moved through atmosphere as Coren stepped up to gather a rifle for himself, as well as two stun grenades. That, mixed with his lightsaber? And he should be fine. Waiting for Cambria to touch the ship down and gear up, he was by the boarding ramp.

“You ready for this? May need to cover each other so we do what we can with the connection with that mind control. Maybe have to hit it with another meld…” He was stating as he hit the switch for the boarding ramp and stepping down. Heading to where Tom’s AI provided was the next step.

Objective: Trade expo

It seemed that mortars were a weapon that was seemingly useful only when firing at slow targets at different elevations, or when the enemy placed heavy ECM in an area. For now, anyway, Jessica was perhaps somewhat relieved when she saw the person download the digital brochure for the whole line of mortars, whose calibers ranged from 60mm to 220mm. And yet, she knew that there were a lot of issues she could talk about when it came to Jedi's relationship with the military. Not simply how so many Jedi proper seemed to eschew combined-arms, but then again she knew in her heart of hearts that leadership ability was uncommon and implicitly acknowledged as such. But even with an implicit acknowledgment, there was no easy way out for her, especially since individual skill seemed to be exalted over more collective contributions. She is in a special position in the Order's chain of command that few Jedi would envy for reasons other than their own inability to assume it, even with trustworthy subordinates to whom one could delegate, and probably for good reason.

"Even guided weapons can be indiscriminate if they have the same blast radius"

Another person joined him not long after entering the room, he gave her a smile as he noticed her there. She was quiet and didn't seem eager to introduce herself or offer a suggestion of a plan. That didn't bother Yuroic too much, he use to be the quiet brooding type himself so he never saw that as a possible issue. Looking around at the marines that Jessica suggested join their mission, Yuroic had little doubt that they would not be capable, most of the soldiers with SJO were trained to high levels. However, Yuroic was curious to see how well he would do as a leader over people he did not know, and more to the point, being a leader of a group that likely followed other Jedi more experienced than Yuroic.

He turned around when Asaraa greeted them. "Hey Asaraa, glad you came, likely not much time to formulate a detailed plan." Yuroic stated a tad nervous before he looked at the troops, "find the Sith. Kill the Sith. Go home. Sounds like a decent plan. I figure we can split up into small groups if needs be but a large group will be more intimidating to the Sith rebels, there shouldn't be that many so any force larger than theirs would get them hesitant." He then jumped onto the dropship, standing ready to get to their main objective.

Kiso had not really been taking the lead, just following [member="Yuroic Xeraic"] in this operation, though the sudden stand off between them and the family members was certainly a surprise. The talk on some sort of AI corruption made her worry that these Sith rebel were more of a threat then first expected, as a Borg she'd have to be more careful least become under the end of such a cyber attack. Thankfully their situation would change as the sound of a drop ship echoed from outside, a familiar voice echoing from the the flying machine.

Before she could say anything the hooded Jedi spoke up as he approached the drop ship, "that sounds like a really casual plan, I do hope it will be a bit more challenging then simply 'kill Sith', though I have a feeling that this little issue is much more complicated then it seems". Ture the Mando Empire was allied to the Sith, and using said Sith to start a rebellion on a nearby planet and then give reason for an invasion a very viable option, though the lack of presence made her think this little incursion was from someone else.

Leading the current congregation of rangers she boarded the drop ship, giving a small nod to the pink haired Jeid General, "one way trip to war zone please, and don't spare the horses".

Charlie smiled happily at Tom as he explained the situation to her. She was aware of what was going on for the most part and she looked towards the woman that walked up to Tom and spoke. Charlie waved and nodded hearing that the Owl will need to be notified as well. It was comforting knowing that there were others around her. Stepping away from the group for a moment, she bowed her head and went about her business.

Something was odd, and she could feel it in her bones. It was a familiar feeling, but she did her best not to focus on it. Accepting the feeling was good but making note of it was wise. Charlie fingered the hilt of the lightsaber that hung at her side while the hammers were comfortable where they were. A hand moved under her nose as she stifled a sneeze.

Charlie itched to move about more, but she decided to hang out by the council room for the most part.

Objective: One - Rebellion
Location: Noverskaa - Dropship - Moving to armory
Valkren watched as one familiar face after another loaded up, including those such as [member="Kiso"] and [member="Yuroic Xeraic"], with a following of rangers close behind them as well. Soon enough, [member="Syd Celsius"] approached the colonel from the rear of the transport. The floating figure took Valk' back at first, but he quickly dismissed the surprise from behind his visor as she presented a real question.

"I won't turn down the help, ma'am. We'll meet you on-site then."

After this, once assured that all silver and ranger personnel had gotten onboard, he turned back inside the troop bay.

"We're good to go, let's move!" His voice would carry over to the cockpit, signaling the pilot and co-pilot for the transport's take-off.

With the thrusters still roaring, the drop ship lifted up into the air with ease, circling around and accelerating to its next destination. It wasn't long before the pilots and those who looked out the viewports could see the skirmishes from the rebel forces. To Colonel Calderon, it seemed like the rebels were barely in the city surrounding the armory, still he didn't know what the state of the ground was like.

Still, they didn't even know what they were walking into exactly.

"Sir!" The pilot's voice rang out once again into Valkren's ear, "We've got some weird activity going on at objective! Looks like.. Some kind of seismic activity?"

His face scrunched for a moment, seismic activity? He didn't know anything about the stability in the region, but quakes never came up in the briefing. If it had been an explosion large enough to show up on the scale, they would have easily been able to see it from their position.

No, this had Sith written all over it.

"Put us down a block away from the armory, we'll hoof' it from there."

"Solid copy, sir."

With little intel, Valkren didn't want the silvers jumping feet-first into a kill-zone, so even if he wasn't taking the lead on this operation, he could at least assure minimum casualties as many ways as possible. Placing the group of silvers a block away would give them the time needed to formulate a plan once getting eyes-on the armory, plus it wouldn't be that far of a jog. With a quick cut through most of the alleyways of the city surrounding the facility, they would be there in no time. The Luna pilot found a suitable place to land in an open street, pivoting the transport about so that the ramp opened towards cover, incase any rebels were to take pot shots at them.

As soon as the ramp lowered, Valkren and his rangers would be the first off the boat. The Radama Raiders secured an immediate perimeter, assuring that the other members of his party would be safe disembarking.

"Watch your fire everyone, don't want any civilians catching a stray round." He yelled this out, before looking back over the sights of his LPD blaster rifle, waiting for the rest to file out.

As his own rangers picked their cover carefully and continued to watch their immediate surroundings, Valkren did a quick turn-around and crouch-jogged to the rear of the transport. He'd slap the side of the drop ship and transmit to the pilot one last time.

"Circle around and come back over the armory! You're air support now!"

After being sure he received a thumbs up from either the pilot or co-pilot, he'd move back to the group of Jedi and Rangers, moving to the familiar set of Knights and General.
