Major Faction Major Governments - Internal Risk Assessment

Full version and attached data compiled for the eyes of the Board of Directors only, may be shared with personnel vetted by AMCO at the discretion of one or more Directors. Summary version available to all Branch Directors to facilitate informed decision making in future investments and prevent the tying of difficult-to-liquidate assets to unstable or otherwise undesirable forms of government.

All Major Governments (see Attachment 1-A for relevant criteria) rated from A+ to F with summarised justification.
  • The Corporate Authorities of Denon (A+): Reasonably high level of stability, exceedingly liberal legislation, no involvement in major wars and conflicts. The activities of the criminal organisation known as Darkwire is an enduring concern that may see the rating lowered.
    • Addendum: Adhere to our ethical guidelines, please. No sweatshops or exploitation, we have a reputation to maintain.
  • The Confederacy of Independent Systems (A): Veritable beacon of stability in a galaxy plagued by war. Longest held A-rating.
  • The Silver Jedi Concord (A-): Decentralised democracy is good for business; recent conflicts hurt the ratings. Investments in Core-facing regions considered secure, less so those facing Sith, Bryn'adûl, and New Imperial territories where special measures are advised.
  • The Galactic Alliance (B+): Democracy is considered ideal and growth has been solid, but recent warfare has led to a drop in ratings.
    • Addendum: Monitor the political situation closely; conflicts closer to home is likely to cripple the rating short-term.
  • The First Order (B): Currently focused on internal development over militant expansionism; heir to a complicated legacy.
    • Addendum: The first and second First Order were guilty of various crimes against civilisation; monitor closely for similarities.
  • The Eternal Empire (C+): Potential for profitable investments despite some ethical concerns. Authoritarianism may threaten assets.
    • Addendum: Guilty of various crimes against civilisation during the reign of Tacitus. Still designated a stratocratic regime.
  • The New Imperial Order (D): Constant warfare is bad for business, likewise in regards to excessive expansionism. Core territories have so far been relatively unthreatened but the situation is potentially unstable. Authoritarianism may threaten assets, wartime confiscation risk.
    • Addendum: Investments in the territory of D-rated governments should be vetted, payment in advance is preferable.
    • Addendum II: Militant expansionism may threaten stability in nearby governments, monitor the situation closely.
  • The Sith Empire (E+): Historically stable but plagued by constant conflict and sweeping territorial losses, a rapid win-or-lose scenario would have been far better for the Tingel Arm's viability as a developing region. Strongly Sith, bad for business. Still holds significant assets.
    • Addendum: Investments in the territory of E-rated governments should be specially vetted, payment in advance is advised.
    • Addendum II: Monitor the Serennian Situation closely, paying close attention to the treatment of our Terassi partners. The assets tied to Vanguard Hypernautics currently account for the majority of our Tingel Arm assets and greatly influence future ratings.
  • The Sith Eternal (E): Relatively small group of fundamentalists, strong Sith presence is bad for business. [REDACTED].
    • Addendum: Special exception granted at the request of [REDACTED]. Payment in advance still advised.
  • The Warlords of the Sith (E-): Comparable to the above but without ties to [REDACTED]. Too many Darksiders by far.
    • Addendum: Investments in the territory of E-rated governments should be specially vetted, payment in advance is advised.
  • Brotherhood of the Maw (F): Bloodthirsty slavers and rampaging degenerates; extreme caution advised, may compromise nearby assets.
    • Addendum: Please make every effort to keep our products out of their hands. Treat all their assets as blood money.
  • The Bryn'adûl (F-): Terrible in every way, a scourge on civilisation and free commerce. Their very existence harms nearby ratings.
    • Addendum: Kill on sight order issued to all Globex Security Division personnel, evacuation advised in most scenarios.
  • Honorary Mention, Mandalore: Never invest in Mandalore. Ever. Do you have any idea how many times it's been wrecked?
Based on feedback from consulted experts, the Sith Addendum has been created: All governments predominately influenced by the Sith or other Dark Side religions should be treated as a risk factor, the greater the level of religiosity and ritualised violence the harsher the evaluation.

OOC: Should not be confused with a list of the best factions; treat this as a silly little thing I made for fun. For reference, AMCO likes democracy, stability, and corporate influence in government but dislikes war, the Dark Side, and religious influence in government.

If you feel I've missed something important throw it in the comments. I made it this afternoon with minimal research.

I cannot stress enough how little effort was put into making this objective. I literally only looked at one Faction page.
