STANDARD FEATURES
ADVANCED SYSTEMS
STRENGTHS
  • BIG BOOM: The Mahporeem Imperial Remnant has converted its Hardcell-class Interstellar Transport into flying kamikaze ships, capable of dealing horrendous damage to anything they collide with
  • Volatile: The combination of Rhydonium fuel and the Hardcell-class Interstellar Transport's fuel cells makes it incredibly easy for the ship to explode, guaranteeing it deals massive damage to anything that it hits
  • Need for speed: When launching from the surface of a planet, the Hardcell-class Interstellar Transport can temporarily achieve speeds in excess of 4,000 kilometers per hour thanks to its rocket system
  • Unassuming: There are no external changes done to the Hardcell-class Interstellar Transport that would give away its kamikaze function
WEAKNESSES
  • Weak: The Hardcell-class Interstellar Transport is rather lightly armed, being unable to do any real damage to ships outside of its kamikaze function
  • Volatile: The Hardcell-class Interstellar Transport is extremely vulnerable to being hit with any sort of fire, being almost guaranteed to explode prematurely should its shields and hull be pierced
  • Friendly fire: Should the Hardcell-class Interstellar Transport detonate prematurely, it is likely to catch friendly forces within its blast radius
  • Kamikaze: The nature of the Hardcell-class Interstellar Transport means that it is generally only crewed by droids, which can reduce its overall effectiveness
  • Specialized: Because it is so specialized, the Hardcell-class Interstellar Transport is now incapable of fulfilling its original function as a transport vessel
DESCRIPTION

First introduced during the Clone Wars, the Hardcell-class Interstellar Transport quickly found itself outmatched by most Galactic Republic assets during the course of the conflict. Its anemic armament, antiquated launch system and sluggish sublight performance made it a rather unpopular choice with Confederacy of Independent System commanders, and after the war ended, the vast majority of the starships were sold to planets like Mahporeem to be scrapped for parts.

Even after the fall of the Galactic Empire, Mahporeem was hesitant to utilize these ships in its navy due to how poorly designed they were, though they did, admittedly, function relatively well in their intended role as transport ships. However, the Imperial Remnant did find a rather niche use for these vessels: as mobile, anti-ship bombs.

When filled with Rhydonium, a volatile but plentiful fuel substance on Mahporeem, it was discovered that the Hardcell-class Interstellar Transport became incredibly volatile and likely to explode, especially when coupled with the ship's Fuel Cell and Rocket Booster systems. Combined with the ship's ability to temporarily achieve speeds of over 4,000 kilometers per hour when launching from the surface of a planet, the Imperial Remnant went about converting nearly all their Hardcell-class Interstellar Transports into kamikaze vessels. Some are kept on Mahporeem itself to launch at enemy capital ship's that breach the planet's defenses while others are integrated into naval formations to ambush particularly valuable or expensive enemy ships.

Of course, the usage of these ships is extremely risk for the Imperial Remnant, as they are liable to prematurely detonate before they ever reach their targets, inadvertently damaging or destroying friendly ships in the process. A success detonation also naturally means the loss of the entire ship itself and anything that might be on board at the time.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
STANDARD FEATURES
ADVANCED SYSTEMS
STRENGTHS
  • Firepower: Each Kodashi Viper comes equipped with six laser cannons and two missile launchers
  • Compact: For the amount of firepower that it has, the Kodashi Viper is a relatively small and compact starfighter, making it more difficult to hit during combat
  • Upgrade: Each Kodashi Viper comes equipped with a full suite B.A.M.T.O.P upgrades, including Dornean Plasma, G.O.U.P and Kaleidoscopic Polymer
  • Supermaneuverable: Because of the way that its wings are constructed, the Kodashi Viper is exceptionally maneuverable for a craft of its size
WEAKNESSES
  • Fragile: The Kodashi Viper is a relatively fragile craft, relying on its small size and deflector shields to stay alive during combat
  • Stock: The Kodashi Viper is too small to equip SLAM and other comparable systems, preventing it form receiving any speed or maneuverability boosts during combat
  • Blindside: The X-Wing sensor cone sticking out of the front of the starfighter can make it somewhat difficult to see what is directly ahead of the craft
  • Cramped: The inside of the Kodashi Viper is said to be especially uncomfortable for pilots to sit in for long periods of time
DESCRIPTION

Relatively little is known about the TIE Raptor, an unusual and unofficial modification of a TIE Fighter used by a single Imperial Warlord hundreds of years ago. Nonetheless, from what information is available about the craft, it was apparently quite effective in combat, and the Mahporeem Imperial Remnant has decided to integrate the examples it has in its inventory within its naval forces, albeit with a few modifications of its own.

To do this, the Imperial Remnant combined existing TIE Raptor chassises with components from X-Wing Starfighters, creating the Kodashi Viper. Each Kodashi Viper comes equipped with a total of six laser cannons and two missile launchers, giving the starcraft considerable firepower, along with deflector shields and a number of electronic warfare subsystems. Coupled with the vessel's high maneuverability, these components give the Kodashi Viper a considerable edge when fighting other starfighters and support craft.

Unfortunately, the Kodahsi Viper does have a few quirks with its design, being unable to equip SLAM or other similar systems while also being difficult to see out of due to the nose cone of the X-Wing somewhat blocking the pilot's view. The Kodashi Viper is best used by more experienced pilots who can compensate for the starfighter's shortcomings.

PRODUCTION INFORMATION
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
STANDARD FEATURES
ADVANCED SYSTEMS
STRENGTHS
  • Overwhelming firepower: Many of the weapon systems installed aboard the CR125D Corvette are exceptionally powerful, giving the ship a surprisingly high amount of firepower in a relatively small design
  • Heavy armor: The CR125D's upgraded armor gives the vessel considerably more staying power when compared to its predecessors
  • Carrier: Each CR125D Corvette is capable of transporting up to 8 starfighters into combat, giving the ship a considerable amount of flexibility
  • All rounder: The Assault Laser Cannons installed onboard the CR125D Corvette are capable of easily tracking fast moving starfighters and destroying more heavily armored capital ships
  • Performance enhancement: The CR125D is capable of temporarily boosting its speed and maneuverability thanks to its onboard systems
  • Reliability: All CR125D Corvettes are highly reliable, being unlikely to malfunction or breakdown
WEAKNESSES
  • Limited weapon slots: One of the biggest drawbacks of the CR125D is its limited number of weapon slots, forcing the ship to rely on the power of each individual weapon rather than sheer numbers of weapons themselves
  • Short range: Though immensely powerful, the CR125D's Assault Laser Cannons possess a short effective range, forcing the ship to get up close and personal with its targets
  • Broadside: The way that the CR125D is designed means that it is most effective when engaging targets in a broadside, though its "Can-Opener" Rotary Laser Cannon and Assault Concussion Missile Launcher can only engage front facing targets
  • Large: The CR125D straddles the line between corvette and frigate, being rather large for a ship of its class
  • Vulnerable: The CR125D's hangar is especially vulnerable to being targeted by enemy fire
DESCRIPTION

Though it once represented the pinnacle of Mahporeenian naval design, the CR125 Corvette proved to be hopelessly outdated by 902 A.B.Y, and all Mahporeenian attempts to upgrade the vessel had resulted in failure, leaving the CR125A and CR125B variants of the ship to fade away into obscurity. Coupled with the fact that Mahporeem Imperial Remnant was slowly replacing these ships with Loki-Class Fast Corvettes, their was a very real possibly that the CR125 line would be retired once and for all from Mahporeenian service.

However, that changed upon meeting Bido Roz’lyn Bido Roz’lyn , who made a deal with the Imperial Remnant in order to save the production of he ship. In exchange for selling half of the remaining CR125 Corvette hulls to her faction, the Dornean would provide Mahporeem access to a number of technologies that would allow the ship to compete with more modern designs. Eager to keep the size of their navy as large as possible, Mahporeem readily agreed, creating the CR125D Corvette.

Compared to the CR125U, the CR125D is nearly identical in every where except for a few key changes. Compared to the CR125U, the CR125D is more suited to Dornean physiology, better replicating an aquatic environment onboard with its redesigned interior. The CR125D also possesses "Ear Clickers" throughout its cockpit and gunnery stations and a host of additional upgrades from its B.A.M.T.O.P package. This makes the ship quite capable in the right hands, though non-aquatic species may have additional difficulty piloting and navigating throughout the interior of the ship itself.

While developed specifically for the Dornean Navy, some CR125D's have somehow found their way into Imperial service, much in the same way that the CR125U can be found serving amongst the Dorneans despite the original agreement between the Imperial Remnant and Bido Roz’lyn Bido Roz’lyn .
