"Void"ed Check~CIS Dominion of Void Station

VOID.png
dom.png

For years Void station has been a beacon of prosperity and luxury in a galaxy wrought with chaos. The home of a former Imperial Warlord, it has become a host of riches that most could not even comprehend. Although the Imperial Warlord maintains an iron grip on the station, there is no doubt he will not mind making a sizeable donation to The Confederate government, his compliance is not a factor. For this operation to be successful we must maintain full dominion over the Station. Eliminate all enemy forces and secure everything of value in the name of The Confederacy.

Objective I: {Main Combat}
Transaction.png

A garrison of security forces maintain a hold on the palace. These soldiers are using slightly outdated Imperial technology and most of them are trained soldier from the Stormtrooper corp. For us to have total dominance of the world, they must be neutralized. Most of these men are sporting outdated technology, but do not underestimate their training. Although there appear to be less than one thousand soldiers on board Void Station they are extremely well versed in maintaining control over the station in the case of assault, use superior firepower and special forces to destroy this mainline force.

Objective II: {Slicing & Infiltration}
Show_Me_the_Money_2.png

Attached to the palace is a complex banking system. This system holds an incredible amount of Galactic Credits. The moment the attack commences our specialized troops must infiltrate the banking hall and siphon out all credits before they are transferred to foreign accounts. These credits are now the property of The Confederate government, minus the tip given to our slicers. Be wary, it is believed that the Void Station database is extremely encrypted and repetitive fumbles within it's system can result in a station wide shutdown locking us out of all information and credits available to us.

Objective III: {BYOO}
Savings.png

The Void station is filled with treasures, artifacts, and even weaponry that could fetch a high price or be very useful to the common man. As always this is a great home for a BYOO, enjoy and have fun!

Ships: One Munificent Class Star Frigate, Two Reaper Class Corvettes

When Kyber was in the Exterminatus he would have alrealy boarded the station and killed all onboard without any of them even seeing him but he was now a Viceroy and butchering everyone is bad for a viceroy's image so he decided to give the warlord a chance to unconditionally surrender to the CIS. This plan ofcourse meant that Kyber had to hope his allies would not decide to attack the station straight away.

Kyber's municifent orbited the space station with shields at the ready. A message was sent to the warlord and his trooper that were on the station "Greetings This One is known as The Viceroy Of Kalinda Kyber and This One has come to offer you a chance to unconditionally surrender to the Confederacy Of Indepenant Systems. Those who surrender will be put under Confederate custody and after a small period of time be made into Confederate Citizens. Those who surrender may keep their personal belongings that are not weapons. If That One does not wish to surrender then This One wishes you farewell." Kyber would then inform the droids under his command to send a request to Storm Fleet requesting them to commence a blockade of the station due to Kyber not having enough ships under him to commence his own blockade.

He looked over the systems of his ship, the cloak was active, the weapons were primed as a precaution, he then adjusted his outfit, making sure everything was in place, he then called out "T'moxin! you almost ready? we're approaching the station! entering a hangar in about twenty seconds, get ready!" He prepped the landing gear, slowing the ship down, tilting it upwards a bit as it entered the hangar still invisible, and landing in a corner, opening the main hatch and the cargo hatch, platforms extending down to the floor from both, he then got up and left the pilot cabin, looking for T'moxin,

Prelude
Aayaith had just received word of an assault on the Void Station, this was an event she could not bear to miss. As is usual with the majority of warzones, there will be casualties and a need for supplies, her ship could provide both, however it is not equipped for a fight, she would need some form of protection.

Her ship, a Pelta-Class Frigate, is a medical & supply ship, designed for assisting the wounded and providing supplies for those in need. It's combat capabilities were not great as it only had Point-Defence Laser Cannons and Deflector Shield Generators. The ship consisted of 900 crew members, mainly droids, who operated the ship under the command of Aayaith. It could also carry a reasonable number of organic troops and guests within its quarters along with a reasonably sized medbay. There was a hydraulic ramp on the keel of the ship which allowed for moving supplies with relative ease.

Aayaith would head down to to the station and assist in extracting those who need it and help clear out the imperials if necessary. Once the station is cleared she would then have medical and food supplies brought down from her ship so the facility may be secured efficiently.

The Approach
The Frigate blasted out of hyperdrive just outside the station. Seeing Viceroy Kyber's fleet, she positioned her ship behind them, so when the station is taken her ship would be able to deliver its supplies. Aayaith's frigate picked up the Viceroys message to the defenders inside the station, she waited to see if his offer of surrender would be enough to prevent the fight, however she doubted that was the case. She began preparing to enter the station, gathering a small strike team consisting of herself and 8 BX Commando Droids whilst her ship stayed behind, ready to move in. Their objective would be to detain or eliminate those inside and assist those who require medical attention, which Aayaith was more than capable of providing.

And so she began waiting for the assault to begin..

Lab stood behind the strange robotic being as he sent out the message to the loyalist forces onboard void station, herself just giving a small head shake. It was admirable that the CIS was attempting a peaceful rout but it was all for naught. "It won't work [member="Kyber"], when the Galactic Empire declined into civil war void station was one of the first places to fall under the control of forces loyal to Warlord Tuspin". The self proclaimed ruler of the empire, or what was left of it after the battle on Kamino. "They are fanatical and willing to fight to the death, I do not believe they will surrender to the CIS".

"There would undoubtedly be others on the station that don't want to fight and possible civilians, but over all the military presence won't be backing down, not since they know we need the place intact". The only ways to get a surrender was kill the commanding officer on the asteroid, show them the CIS did not care about cash and fake trying to blow the place up or the long and time consuming siege tactic. Out of the three option number one was the most viable, now they just needed some fancy super sneaking spec ops unit to get into the base undetected and to the dirty work.

Treasures of the Empire? You didn’t have to say that twice to interest the Hapan Viceroyal of Lok who enjoyed luxury the same way she enjoyed breathing oxygen. Tmoxin journeyed to Void Station along with an Ord Pardron politician, fellow Viceroyal, Mr. Kenway. There wasn’t much more to the floating asteroid than an Imperial Palace, but all the more reason the GE may have hidden some of their most valuable assets on such an unassuming rock.

Wearing a green and white dress imported from the Ta'a Chume'Dan, she approached the man remarking, “Why Mr. Kenway you look rather swashbuckling. If you don’t take this the wrong way, you remind me of a Lorell Raider from a Hapan fairytale.” A cagey smile spread across her freckled face. “Do you expect us to be under attack? I thought we were following up after the units have neutralized these Imperial holdouts.”

It was only a halfway joking question. Tmoxin always carried her lightsaber, but she had viewed this trip as nothing but a diplomatic mission with a dash of burglary.

“Also I have very keen hearing as a Jedi Master so there’s no need to shout. Now where to first?”

Oh this was rich

Must be some sort of comedian out there who thought having Lirka be the nimble little assassin was a funny idea, she didn't even have her trademark armor for this bit of work, instead just given some near throwaway leftover gear that was far...quieter...than the Sephi's usual heavy battleplate. Maybe for the best as currently she was squirming herself through a vent silently praying there weren't any fans currently going.

As time progressed it did seem there weren't any where she was heading off to.

While she slowly but surely crawled along, she mapped out the mission in her head: go in, sneak past the guards and kill anyone who got in her way quietly enough to not raise suspicion. Find their leader and if they hadn't surrendered beforehand leave him a particularly hard mess to clean up. If she wasn't doing everything in her power to stay quiet she might've laughed: felt like a mercenary again, of course there was no money involved in this (to her knowledge...maybe if she got shot they'd pay her.) rather this was the vain and self-centered quest for glory Lirka was finding herself on.

Eventually she reached a small grate, peering out onto the men below. She still had a long way to go and it seemed already folks might be getting in her way....

"Apologies for the shouting, I must say, you look ravishing, albeit, not that fit to defend yourself, but who am I to question the Jedi? I certainly know Sith don't dress quite like that, atleast not if they're going to be entering a possible war, no war is too harsh, battle zone? Yes, that fits quite well, and I am quite sure that we'll encounter some troops not quite happy to let us walk on by, and this suit, if you could call it that, is not something I wear to look nice, though it serves that purpose quite well, it has quite a few layers, and the coat is rather thick. It's all ventilated to say the least, so it's rather cool in it. Something else that may peak your interest, if you have no checked the cargo bay, aside from the vast space to store our.... rewards of office as Viceroyalty, I also had a squad of BX and B2 battle droids ordered to be place in there as well, for security purposes, nobody quite likes it when people take their belongings, even if for a righteous cause and shameless reason. Twenty droids all in all, five B2s with Wrist Rockets, five B2's with wrist blaster,s and eight BX Commando's with upgraded blasters, and swords, two Commando's with shotguns and miniguns, I think our security detail is well done, don't you?" He walked over to the holotable in the centre of the room, and pressed a few buttons, a hologram of the Station popping up, he then pressed a few more buttons, zooming in on where they were. Then several dots popped up like pins on the hologram, in different sections of the station, "We are here," he pointed to the dot on the hologram where they were, he then tapped on another dot, closest to them and it popped up with some text, zooming in on the location, the text read 'Display Auditorium/Museum.' he then turned to Tmoxin again. "That's the museum, it's where the Warlord displays most of the artefacts, easy picking." He then tapped another dot, zooming in on it, it read 'Vault' "That's the vault, where the Warlord keeps their most precious artefacts and weapons." He tapped another dot, that read 'Bank' "That's the bank, where all the credits are kept, look, I'm being honest here, I'm hoping we don't have to use explosives or something, cut a hole in the wall or something, but we probably will, for that reason, I ordered four BX Commando's to be added in, they are specialised explosive units, they have detonators that'll blow a hole through most of everything, they also have grenades, proximity mines, remote bombs, grenade launchers, rocket launchers, well I say rocket launchers, but they shoot basically anything, large barrel, y'know? yeah, we're armed to the teeth here." He paused a moment, to let it all sink in with T'moxin, then spoke again, "I suggest we go to the artefact and weaponry vault first, as it will likely not cause a lock down, we can use the weaponry and artefacts ourselves if we don't want to sell them, then we can hit up the Museum, easy picking, that'll pick us some riches, then the bank vault, if that fails, we still have lots of riches, sound good?"

The Veil was a magnificent ship, forged specifically for Adron's use and one of the lead warships in the Confederate armada. A stealth ship of intricate design, it had been the Exarch's ship of choice since his days as the Minister of War. Aboard the bridge, Adron stood silently, an all too content expression crossing his face, bordering on a smirk. The Exarch turned from the viewport, his eyes falling on the squad of Commando droids he had commissioned for this unique mission.

"Commander, are your units prepared for your mission?" He asked, his ice cold eyes falling on the droid in silent contempt. The man had always found droids as a whole to be aggravating and a pain to deal with, battledroids even more so due to the simplicity of most of their programming.

"Yes, my lord. All units are functioning at one-hundred percent capacity and ready for battle." The metallic voice responded, with the dull motivation of a Battledroid Commander. With a dismissive wave of his hand, all ten of the Battledroids turned from the Exarch, making their way to the hangar and the mission that was to come.

Adron barely offered them a second thought. They were no more than a diversionary force that were intended to meet an amusing end.

Turning from the departing droids, Adron looked back to the ship's Tactical Droid that had been the acting Captain in place of Adron on many occasions. "Captain, how far out?" He asked, crossing his arms as his eyes looked over the flashing lights of hyperspace.

"We are less than twenty minutes away from our destination, sir." The tactical units were far more chopped in their manner of speaking, as if their vocalizer had been exchanged for a spare processing unit. Another factor that Adron did not care for.

"Get the others up here. It's about time they find out our mission." He stated, watching as the droid stepped away to summon the rest of those Adron had brought to the bridge.

She was already there. Madalena Antares, Pathfinder of the Knights Obsidian. It was a mouthful of words to say, and it was funny that she found herself with more reason to say it again and again these past few weeks. Ever since joining the Knights Obsidian, she had become a mission-machine; always running off from one mission to the next, taking little to no down time in between. She’d lost count of the number of missions in a row this one made it, though she was probably going to be feeling the effects very soon if she didn’t take some time off, either after this one or the next.

There wasn’t too much time left before the rest of the team would show up. Waiting at the rendezvous spot, she had already checked the surroundings to make sure that it was actually safe and they wouldn’t be detected before they were ready to.

Grabbing one of her knives, Madalena leaned against a wall and began to clean her nails. There was nothing left to do for now except… Wait.

Kyber was glad he let this organic on his ship even if she straight up told him that his plan wasn't going to work based on infomation she had about the warlord that Kyber did not already know. Kyber assumed the warlord would be one of those cowardly individuals who only acted strong when they personally weren't threatened but it seemed his assumption was wrong especially with the part that his storm troopers were fanatical and from what she just said extremely loyal to him. "Thank That One known as [member="Labkahip Mordulla"] for That Ones counsel. It seems This One needs to do some more research on the fallen Galactic Empire. Luckily This One has already requested the assistance of the Iron Crusade in chopping the head off the snake if That One known as Tuspin refuses to surrender" Kyber didn't want to admit he sent the request to the wrong Iron Crusade Captain but then sending a commando droid captain to do the mission especially one by the name [member="BX-25233"] would have probably been a bad choice and so Kyber hoped [member="Lirka Ka"] would be able to do the job.

Kyber now had to think about a way to convince the warlord to surrender especially if they know that the CIS needs the place to be intact. Kyber walked around in a circle for a small period of time until he realised that the CIS needs to credits intact and the station mostly but not fully intact. "That One is right as Those Ones won't surrender because they know we need the station intact until Those Ones find out we only need the credits and valuables intact. Now This One shall alter the plans slightly" Kyber then gave the twi'lik a nod of appreciation.

Kyber started to bark out orders to the droid crew so that they may prepare themselves for phase one the assault if the phase zero one sided negotiations fail "Scan the station for its life suport systems and once found aim the turbolasers at them. Make sure That One sees and knows what we are doing and if That One still foolishly declines to surrender then fire immediately at the life support systems" While this might cause problems for the CIS organics on the station already if Kyber could get the life support systems down then the droid forces who would land on the station would have a major advantage against the stormtroopers.

Working for the CIS wasn't all that bad especially today. Having fought against imperialism in another form, Riggs was all about hitting the crumbling Empire where it hurt the most. Void station hosed much of the finacial reserves, and Riggs and his crew were going to cash in. All they needed was to provide a decent distraction, and give Grey the time she needed to hack into the system. What could go wrong?

"Right, so we all remember what we are doing here right? Grey you get the credits. Teyla, you and I will make sure that she has the time she needs to get what she can. This job could set us up for life, so let's make sure we do it right. Once we are done, we make our own work. No more having to yes to every job simply because he need the credits."

For Riggs this job was important. Teyla was carrying his child, and he wanted to give her a nice cushion of certainty and security for her and the baby. Their last scuffle was over this exact issue to a degree, and Riggs wanted to make sure that he could prove that they could be picky about the jobs they took. The Confederacy had already promised them plenty of work, so they already didn't have to take every job that came their way. He sighed as he walked over to her.

"First sign of trouble and you find some place safe, hmm? I'm not dumb enough to talk you out of coming with us, but at least let me be the overprotective lover and father today if I need to be?"

"Mine...mine...mine...

mine...mine...mine...

mine...mine...mine..."

Governor Marx' voice could be heard echoing through out his chamber. The man stood before a series of holoscreens that showed the approaching fleet. For months Void Station had been under his control and he had amassed a staggering fortune in that time. His room was cluttered with the results of his pillaging. Ornate jewels covered his desks, threatening to overflow onto the ground. Every bit of his walls were covered with some manner of painting or artwork that by itself would have been an appreciated work, yet in this grotesque mass it was a disgusting conglomerate of color and culture that made his room an almost endless sea of color.

His hand washed over the console before him, to reveal a sickly pale hand that seemed devoid of blood. A closer look showed it was the mass of rings and wristwear that the man had covered himself in. He was hesitant to part with his "treasures" in fear they would be taken from him as he had done countless times before.

Sick, depraved eyes watched as the communications line was opened and a voice, metallic and droid-like in nature called out to him. It demanded surrender? It swore that if they surrendered they would keep their treasures? Lies.

Lies!

"Lies!!!" Marx yelled over the communications channel, standing to his feet and throwing a mass of credits from the side of his desk. "Deception! Everyday, more lies!" He screamed as he closed the comm channel before taking his personal comm device into his hands. "Commander, prepare your soldiers for battle! Do not let these Confederate dogs touch my treasure!" Without awaiting response, Marx slammed the commlink into the desk before staring at the screen before him once more. "You will not take it....You will not take it!!" He yelled, a rage rising within that clouded all else.

Through out the station, hundreds of Stormtroopers prepared for battle. They were well positioned and deeply entrenched, it would be no easy task to uproot Marx's guard from their charge.

Kyber was disappointed by Governor Marx especially since Kyber believed that Marx was the Warlord called Tuspin who Kyber execpted to reply in a charismatic way instead of the overgrown man child responding the Kyber. Kyber sent another message to the Governor "May the Maker show mercy to That Ones soul

Kyber then turned towards [member="Labkahip Mordulla"] and asked her a question concerning her recent counsel "Is That One sure The Other One's soldiers are fanatically loyal to That One" as Kyber was speaking one of his droids interrupted him "Viceroy the weapons are ready to fire at the stations life support" This was good news as by now the stormtroopers on the station are fortifying their positions and will need to be broken "Fire when ready" Kyber said to the droid which responded with a cliche but expected pair of words "Roger Roger"

Kyber's main ship fired an ion shot at the location of the life support systems incase their were shields protecting it and then proceeded to bombard it with turbolaser fire. Kyber then sent a message to all CIS forces in the area "It seems the Imperials do not wish to live and thus have agreed to summary extermination"

Lirka heard that command nice and clearly from her position in the vents. So much for diplomacy, or maybe droids weren't very good at diplomacy...letting herself go on the mental tangent of droids and diplomacy for a few moments she let herself listen in down to guard below as a rubble shook her position. She bit back a grumble of annoyance: the guard himself was near ranting to himself on the incompetence of the Warlord and how he had assured their deaths:

“That damn lunatic! He’ll get us all killed.

He had no idea how soon death was actually coming, with a amount of skill that was actually surprising of a brute like Lirka she had little trouble removing the grate with little noise. The rest was quick and efficient, minimal noise: rolling down she landed behind the man, not giving him much of any chance to react to her swinging blade. It quickly cleaved him into a bloody mess. But a killer can cover their tracks, somewhat: using the force she raised the grate back up and right back into place.

All that was left was a bloody scene and a bloody blade, like many others of the same back in the Underworld. No characteristic heavy boots followed her steps this time, instead she silently moved through the currently empty halls of her area: maybe this whole attacking the station thing wouldn’t get her killed.

There was always a score.

Money to be made, someone to rob or scam. At least this time there was some credibility to it, CIS hired out some silcers for the operation. Hypatia was among their number, she checked her gloves and looked at her datastick and looked at the time. Time, these things were all about time don't rush a score. Scores took time, the Thyrisian woman smiled at the people who walked past her. She wore a pair of flight pants and a white shirt with a blaster vest, no weapons were visible just yet - but she always carried a vibrodagger. She wasn't the only one on the take but the hope was that multiple attacks would help bring down the well encrypted system faster. Hypatia ran a few simulations to help prepare but just like life, anything could happen and something could change.

She ran a hand through her hair and tucked loose strands behind her ear.

It was time to find a point of entry, and then look at the security patrols and study the cameras.

Not one for idleness, Teyla continued arming herself and finishing prep while Damon went over the objective for a final time. An extra vibro knife was tucked into one of the slots on her utility belt and she looked toward the Wookiee beside her. Silently, Teyla dropped a sizable blaster in his mammoth fur paws, proceeding to check the energy pack of her own.

When Damon approached, her mind was elsewhere; focused - until he spoke to her directly and drew her golden gaze. She took a deep breath and cocked her head to the side. Due to recent events and what happened on Coruscant, she and the baby were the only family Damon had left. He wanted to protect them, she knew...but. She wasn’t yet resigned to occupy the space on the sidelines.

That would come soon enough.

“Stop.” she admonished gently, “I promise I’ll be safe,”

Teyla tried a reassuring smile, pulling the armorweave jacket onto her arms and zipping it over the small, but ever increasingly noticeable, baby bump. Nimble fingers gathered silken strands of dark brown hair into a bundle, tying it into a secure ponytail. “I’m not going to do anything to jeopardize the health and safety of our child, even if I am stubborn as a bantha.”

…Says the pregnant lady armed to the teeth.

“Besides,” she thumbed towards Rafiki, “We have a Wookiee.” her hands extended out in a sweeping motioned, glancing around at some of the others. “There are even a few extra working with Grey. C’mon, It’ll be fine. Let’s just get to it, hm?”

The Munificent Star Frigate Stars To Embers has recently arrived under orders to assist in the defeat of the Imperial forces that had taken control of the station. Vildarn after his interesting and violent experience at Hypori had learned to accept that the Confederacy wasn’t the only fish in the pond so to speak. Despite the threat of pirates and Hutts and other terrible things, nothing drilled a hatred into him quite like the thought of a once grand Republic turning its back on its people and transitioning into an Empire of evil. He didn’t hate the Stormtroopers and other Imperials exactly, just what they stood for and what they were willing to die for.

When he learned he was now under the command of a Viceroy named Kyber he couldn’t help but feel things were looking promising for his career, the thought of avenging his fellow Confederates of old seemed like a dream come true. The order to take out the stations life support had come as a slight surprise as the fighting hadn’t even broken out yet but he wasn’t really in any place to argue.

At first all seemed to go quiet, that was until weapons systems aboard the station were activated and began firing at their fleet. It wasn’t really anything their ships couldn’t handle but the detection of two more unexpected ships entering the system made Vildarn question Kyber’s cockiness. Two Vindicator class Heavy Cruisers were fast approaching them and they were already launching ties.

“Prepare for Imperial engagement, Brook get our prow cannons charged, Lieutenant Phophis contact our other ships and warn them.” they had to turn the ship around quickly or they would be easy pickings.

Prepare for your... examination.

Lab just stood behind the Vicory droid as he went about orders, still confused on how a droid that had yet to learn the proper methodology of speaking came to said positions. She had no I'll will against their kind, but was never really sure a droid was properly capable of ruling organics, mainly in a aspect of knowing how his people felt, what they really wanted and other aspects that only the most advanced and experienced AI's could comprehend.

Her small thought tangent was put to a stop as she heard the droid ask another question, "I was on the ground during the rebellion on Kamino, their troops are fanatical as anything, some would blindly charge a machine gun position for their cause, more so when backed into a corner". Her eyes staring with no real emotion as she saw Kybers ship opened fire on the station. "It would be best, these types would either kill themselves before surrender, though I would suggest keeping the place intact, it is a valuable locations, I'd rather not have it blown up".

“Not that fit to defend myself? Mr. Kenway, I was a Hapan Chume’ D'oro once and a General for the One Sith Army. I think you need to read more of the Holonews from time to time.”

Tmoxin smiled enjoying the impromptu verbal parley. For a Hapan, correcting a man about your highest distinctions was considered a sport.

“And despite my past, I’m not a Sith. Far from it."

While Mr. Kenway enjoyed describing his wardrobe in graphic detail to the Dark Jedi, she busied herself with a datapad, pulling up some information for him to review when he was done describing his shiny buckles. She plugged her device into the holotable display grid.

“In either the museum or the bank vault is an artifact that I would like to retrieve. It’s called The Hand, and it’s quite literally that - a giant statue, larger than either of us. Perhaps your security detail can help haul it out of there.” Tmoxin left out the vital detail that when the palm was placed face up, the artifact would draw out the life of anyone who sat in it in order to assist with the darksider’s Force goals but that was beside the point. If Mr. Kenway needed to know, she would tell him.

The Viceroyal of Ord Pardron explained his armory in equal specifics. The Hapan examined her fingernails while he did so, looked up when he was done and said, “Lead the way, Mr. Kenway.”
