STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES
Good Kindling: Venn's natural talent and greatest skill lie in a force technique that is relatively rare; Pyrokinesis. Even Jedi who have hunted many other Sith will not find Venn simple to kill.
Son of Hunters: The young man's memories of his youth as a beast-rider of Onderon have returned to him. Venn is great with animals, and an accomplished rider.
Young Growth: Abducted as a young man, Venn has spent relatively little time as an initiate in the ways of the Sith and the Force. In order to match his peers and live up to his master's hopes for him, he routinely disappears for months at a time, subsuming himself in training and study.
Fast Burn: Venn's Pyrokinesis is linked to his intense emotions, and his use of his powers encourages the quick formation of bonds with others. His fervent belief in the Sith faith means that he sees those who walk on the Dark Side as his comrades, brothers and sisters, heroes and mentors. He genuinely seeks the glory and victory of all Sith, and his speed to form attachment or make friends is often viewed as suspicious or exploitable. Due to his place of honor as Darth Empyrean's apprentice, he is often compelled by loyalty to fight his fellow Sith in civil wars and blood fueds. The internal turmoil is... intense.

APPEARANCE:
Venn walks with a sense of purpose and importance, and has a singular gaze that rarely wanders. His body refined through alchemy and long hours in the forge, he maintains a picture of perfect health through the Dark Side. His typical garb is the simple and soft black robes of an acolyte... or steel armor aglow with fiery runes.

BIOGRAPHY:

The son of beast tamers on the planet Onderon, Venn was abducted from his home as a young man by the Sith Order, and found truth and wisdom in the horrors he witnessed as a slave. His innate talent in the Force was recognized by Darth Maliphant of the Dark Council, who took the young man under his wing, teaching him Alchemy, Sorcery, and most importantly, what it truly means to be Sith.

Slowly, a rag-tag group of followers began to amass around Venn- some he threatened, some he invited, others he impressed. But all of them he trained. He taught them that although to truly be Sith meant to be Force Sensitive, that there was yet something they could do to break their chains. Now, Venn leads those followers in a war to save the planet Kesh from the Brynadul remnant threatening to forever destroy its ecosystem. First tenant of warfare; conflict is short when you use sorcery to compel the enemy army to convert to your religion...


SHIP: Thanks to his master's influence, Venn has access to a wide array of transport and warships, though he stubbornly attempts to procure or commission what he can. His modest personal fleet includes the following:

Pyrokinesis: The ability to create flames.
Techniques Known

~ Burning Hands. Flames explode from Venn's hands. Rage makes the flame burn fiercer and wilder; cold anger raises the temperature. Skill Level: Master
~ Emberfly. Venn wills to life a swarm of tiny flames, which he makes fly around. Each mote of fire can be detonated with roughly the force of a micro-grenade. Skill Level: Master
~ Firebolt. A ball of flame forms in Venn's hand, which he hurls with great force and speed. Venn once blew a repulsor tank to pieces with this. Skill Level: Master
~ Ignition. Venn can cause a target object to simply combust on command. Burning groups of sentients alive is exhausting. Skill Level: Upper Knight
~ Fire Shaping. This school of martial art manifests flames through the Force as the practitioner kicks and punches, allowing for long-range combat and more devastating attacks. Skill Level: Upper Knight

Force Scream: Empowering one's voice, to various effects.
Techniques Known

~ Amplify. Venn's voice becomes many times louder, as if speaking through an enormous speaker system. Not much combat application. Skill Level: Lower Knight
~ Roar: Blasting his voice in a concussive shout, Venn concentrates the sonic technique into a direct line of attack. Healthy men cough up blood; the weak die. Skill Level: Lower Knight
Domination: A school of Sith Sorcery. Overpowering the will of a living thing through the insidious reaching of the mind.
Techniques Known

~ Compulsion. Venn can subtly sway a sentient into obeying his commands if they are an NFU, weak-willed, or can be given even the barest reason to cooperate. Requires verbal conversation. Skill Level: Upper Knight
~ Control Creature. Through impatient demanding, Venn can weaken the will of a non-sentient animal until they become his willing tool and pawn. Easier if he is familiar with the species. (With the Alchemist's Eye, Venn can use this technique on the Draelvasier, with usual success.) Skill Level: Master
~ Whisper. A hissing voice creeps into the mind of Venn's target, making them irritable, frightened, or insatiably curious. This skill is a technical challenge, and requires focus. Skill Level: Upper Knight
~ Suggestion. The Dark Side plants a seed of obsession within the heart of the target, causing them to think often of something Venn has said. The effects can worsen with time, developing like a disease. Skill Level: Upper Knight
~ Fear. Venn emanates an aura of sickening malice, causing unnatural apprehension in even a brave target. Less effective against the stupid or especially serene. Skill Level: Upper Knight
Sith Alchemy: Dark. Arcane. Dangerous. The art of permanently altering the physical world through the Force. Venn's master, Darth Maliphant, was the most powerful alchemist to ever live. To ensure his studies and practice remain monstrously fervent, the apprentice has enshrined an iron vision within his mind: whether in 20 years or 2,000, Venn's technique will one day surpass that of his master.

Schools of Alchemical Study

Steelwork
~Imbue Object. The creation of an alchemized steel object. Objects forged in this way will be more durable than the same ordinary steel, but the potential of each object for increased qualities is dependent upon the quality of the steel being forged. Skill Level: Upper Knight
~Reinforce Object. Taking an already-alchemized steel object and pouring additional power, time, and resources into its construction to refine its power. Mundane objects have set limits on their absolute potential. This process cannot change the nature of the initial alchemization, only strengthen it. Skill Level: Lower Knight
~Reforge Object. The process of adding or taking away from the nature of an alchemized object's power, while still retaining its general quality and investment. This process is a risky one, complex and rife with danger. Skill Level: Apprentice
Flesh-twisting
~ Create Sithspawn: Twist a living creature into a weapon of the Dark Side. Having a Draelvasier spawning pit twisted by Sith sorcery can be helpful...
