OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
  • Intent: To create Lorale Farmar's personal unit of Legionnaires
  • Role: The main enforcers of Lorale's will, serving as the elite soldiers of his army.
  • Permissions: Kascalion Series weaponry as I am their creator. Corondex (X)
  • Links: Lorale Farmar, TSE, TOA, The Scarlet Breed
GENERAL INFORMATION
COMBAT INFORMATION
  • Unit Size: Medium
    • Shadowmaw Pack: Lorale's favored elite squad, the Shadowmaw Pack often acts as his army's primary commanders, directly under the Scarlet Breed. While they are exceptionally smaller in scale compared to the Ice Keepers and Ragged Manes, the Shadowmaw Pack is often seen with equipment of greater quality, such as the mighty SI-HB-2 Power Mace.
    • The Ice Keepers: The standard-issue rank and file, the Ice Keepers charge forth and fight for all their worth, aiming to advance the goals of their liege lord by leading the masses of the Order Ascendant.
    • The Ragged Manes: Comprised of those who have fallen to Stimulant Addition, the Ragged Manes are mindless, savage beasts who know only bloodshed and chaos. As such, they are often released into population centers to wreak havoc and break enemy morale.
  • Unit Availability: Rare
  • Unit Experience: Veteran
  • Combat Function: The Vulfen Assaulters are trained and outfitted to serve along the front lines with the rank and file as elite warriors, bolstering morale and silently leading entire squadrons where needed. At times, they will enter cold, berserker states of increased strength and stamina from stimulant injections, slamming and carving through the enemy in a bid to achieve victory.
STRENGTHS
  • Training and Skills: The Vulfen Assaulters are the cream of the crop for the Wolf of Noxis' forces, equipped with the skills necessary to survive even the harshest of environments and battles. They are entirely capable of fulfilling various roles from front line commander to bulwark reinforcer and will never balk in the face of an enemy.
  • Lorale's Favor: The Wolf of Noxis has many favorites throughout his vast holdings and armada of flesh and metal, but none more so than the Vulfen Assaulters. Holding an affection for these brave men and women beyond even his own kin in the Scarlet Breed, the Vulfen Assaulters will see themselves taken care of through thick and thin and in possession of the best equipment possible.
  • Stimulant Boosters: The Vulfen Assaulter's armor is equipped with a series of injectors filled with Hyper-Adrenal and Hyper-Battle Stimulants that grant the combatants with combative skills comparable to that of elite veteran Mandalorians.
WEAKNESSES
  • Shady Reputation: The secrecy of the unit and their affiliation with the ever-growing Order Ascendant has given them a less than desirable reputation with the denizens of the Sith Empire who look upon them with mistrust and fear.
  • Stimulant Addiction: The greatest side-effect of the Vulfen Assaulter's great use of stimulants is the risk of developing an addiction and eventual permanent brain damage, transforming the victims into mindless beasts who know only death and destruction. The possibility of this side-effect has only increased as the wars of Chaos increase overtime.
  • Equipment Rarity: The materials used to craft the more elaborate equipment of the unit, unfortunately, ensures that replacements and repairs for damaged gear are rare at best and impossible at worst.
  • Vehicular Combat: The Vulfen Assaulters have no vehicles to their name in neither defensive nor offensive capacities. This, unfortunately, limits them solely to ranged and CQC combat which leaves them at a distinct disadvantage against vehicular foes such as tanks, starfighters, and so on.
  • No Heavy Ranged Weapons: While the weaponry the Vulfen Assaulters carry are powerful in their own right, the unit lacks ranged weaponry that can deal with massive groups of enemies and vehicles.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION

As Lorale began the development of the Order Ascendant to bring about his goals of perfect order throughout the Galaxy, he acknowledged the glaring fact that he would not be able to effectively lead the ever-growing masses in battle on a personal level. While the Scarlet Breed could serve as his generals, the units of his army of billions would be left leaderless unless he devised a group meant to serve and lead in the thick of battle.

Thus, the Vulfen Assaulters came into existence, comprised of Lorale's most loyal and experienced soldiers and outfitted with the best equipment he could acquire. These men and women charge forth into battle with billions behind them, leading where Lorale cannot and bringing victory for the Order Ascendant.

For the TSE link, please link directly to the Faction Page, not a thread inside it.

This weapon is manufactured by Corondex and has Closed Market Affiliation.

I'm aware that TSE received permission to use Corondex stuff (I believe there's a permit from the submitter in TSE Discord server, if you type Corondex in the server's search engine, so you can just make a screenshot of it), but the permission needs to be linked in the Permission field.

These weaknesses are all good, but two of them, while good flavour, are fluff that do not directly affect combat (equipment being broken is a theoretical possibility, but happens rarely and is dependent on the writer using it), especially against other writer.

I'd recommend a weakness that directly affects combat performance. At a glance, while these guys are great assault troops and close combat fighters, they are lacking in heavy weapons such as anti-tank missiles, vehicles or air support, so that could be a good weakness to mention.
