The Siege of Commenor [TSE/CSA]

Time seemed to slow as the speech of [member="Lady Kay"] began and the fate of Commenor hinged on every word, every choice she made could either bring peace or total annihilation. The Shadow Hand stood behind the holoprojector his hand raised in the air like the axe of an executioner while the great crimson eye of AQUILA glowed behind him, silently watching his masters every move. The second he dropped his hand down into a fist AQUILA would open fire and wipe Kliffen City from the face of history, the second she chose to embarrass the Sith Emperor [member="Darth Carnifex"] and his hand dropped their mission would change from capitulation to evisceration. The Sith-Imperial Legion would be evacuated and Commenor would die. The Imperial Fleet would unleash their fury and burn the planet black, they would bombard it so thoroughly it would unleash the underground magma chambers and turn Commenor into a fire coated wasteland like Mustafar.

They would unleash such devastation chunks of the planet would crack and break exposing the core to space, they would obliterate the very memory of the world known as Commenor. It would be wiped from all known star maps, all known records, it would vanish from history and its people a fading, distant memory remembered as victims that dared to challenge Sith dominance. Kay Arenais didn't truly comprehend just how terrifying the cryptic words of [member="Darth Carnifex"] were there would be no coming back from the storm that would be unleashed if she let her pride get in the way of what was best for her people. As Kay winded her speech down and she truly, completely surrendered Commenor to the Sith Empire instead of pulling his hand down into a sharp fist he let it fall down to his side, the hammer never came down.

Kliffen City would never know just how close they came to annihilation. Every day forward they would never know that it was a gift given to them by their Queen. They lived as opposed to being reduced to memories and casualty reports like the victims of Munto City. The Lord of Lies spun toward the screen as the projector cut off and looked straight at the representation of AQUILA that projected a map of Kliffen City overlaid with thermal imaging and target zones, the direction the beam would sweep to ensure every single soul died as well as a total projected casualty report in the corner of the screen that climbed in the millions. "Thank you Aquila abort mission return to the fleet and coordinate the enemy fleets surrender alongside the Goliath. Initiate lockdown procedures until the battle has come to a complete and total end nothing leaves this system." He ordered.

"As you wish my lord" Aquila rumbled in response its great eye disappearing. All would see the Behemoth begin to move away from Kliffen City and back into orbit. The massive ship would activate its gravity well generators each spread so that it blanketed the entire Commenor System completely stopping hyperspace travel. If that wasn't enough the Goliath also had gravity well generators at the ready to overlap any gaps in the entire system. While [member="Darth Carnifex"] spoke with [member="Yasha Mantis"] the Crestfallen arrived docking to the platform. The Shadow Hand sent a signal to his shuttle telling it to rendezvous with them wherever they chose to land. He directed the Nerean Crownguard and they brought Lady Kay into the shuttle, securing her into a chair where she was restrained completely for travel. The remaining Crownguard on the platform prepared to move with the Emperor into his shuttle.

Indeed [member="Koda Fett"]'s response was not at all unexpected, such was the reason for drawing upon the blade preemptively. Veiere may have been being stubborn but he wasn't so foolish to think that the Bounty Hunter who'd made a name for himself tracking wanted criminals and bounties and bringing them in to be paid for, alive or otherwise, would turn tail and give Veiere the benefit of the doubt now.

All of his life, Veiere had trained in the Force, a former Jedi Consular who'd ascended to the rank of Master and later named Grandmaster of the Jedi Order of Deneba, regardless of his further trespasses, did not discount the influence and experience that the held within the Force. The power that he now took into the grasp of his left hand and lifted, a clenched fist coming to form just in time as his opponent went on the attack.

Before him, the earth was torn from the surface. The ground directly in front of Veiere was uprooted, clumps of dirt, grass and hard rock pulled from it's bedding and fused together by the immense pressure of the man's telekinetic grasp so that the Bounty Hunter's Sonic bursts came into contact with the shield of debris. They tore into the rock formation, shredding what insecure and soft earth could be removed and dropped back to the ground floor yet the majority of the mound remained and from that, Veiere then channeled all of his might into a telekinetic push, launching the compressed ball of earth back at his opponent, as if he were throwing a massive rock at a bug that needed to be squashed.

Koda's Jetpack was another issue. It had allowed the Bounty Hunter to maneuver the battlefield during their last bout with considerable ease. It was also armed with projectile explosives and it hadn't been too long since Veiere had seen the impact of said missiles. He did not intend on falling victim to them again.

He rushed into the attack, following the debris that he had hurled forth, a surge of power aiding him in his agility would see the former King moving in time behind the concealment of the flying debris, hoping to capitalize on the distraction with the lightsaber held tight within his right hand. It would not be Koda himself however that Veiere sought to strike at but rather the Jetpack itself, such was the reason he reversed his hold of the blade so that the crimson arc would follow behind him.

Should the first blow strike true, Veiere intended on stepping around the Bounty Hunter with a swift horizontal slash across his upper back; directly in place of the Jetpack.

Boys and their toys.

A few things happened at once, things Ayessa would later claim to have little memory of. Concussions do that, unfortunately.

Firstly, she hit the ground. Hard. Like, hard enough to scramble her brains and make her see stars for a few moments. A stun bolt flew wild above her head and evaporated after hitting a wall, though that was the least of her concerns, as secondly, there was something around her legs that had been what had sent her on a trip to the floor. Some sort of study cord, that, no doubt, her flying Mandalorian opponent had used to try and trap her.

Well, it had worked. Somewhat, but still, she was down on the ground and partially restrained. Despite her now-splitting headache and mildly bloody nose, the Jedi rolled onto her back from her front, blade swinging a little erratically. Just a bit more delirium and she probably could have cut her own legs off by accident but she was aiming to slice clean through the fibercord that had been used to temporarily trap her. And it was the seconds following her scramble to freedom that she noticed Nej.

Girlfriend?

Oh, dear.

Through gritted teeth the Jedi grumbled a half-hearted, "Are you kidding me." Before she pushed aside any growing head pains and tried to get to her feet, calling out with a strained voice, "I didn't know you were on Commenor!" It was the only thing her brain could think of saying.

"Asaraa..." Caedyn moved alongside her, his left hand gently reaching out to rest upon her hand that held her lightsaber, wanting to encourage [member="Asaraa Vaashe"] to lower her weapon; "Make sure everyone else gets out of here, this isn't your fight" Caedyn's eyes remained on [member="Adrian Vandiir"], from what he could tell, a member of the Sith Empire that had come to invade Caedyn's World.

His training under [member="Asha Hex"] and the rest of the Je'daii Order differed from all who were now his brothers and sisters within the Silver Jedi ranks. His focus within Stav Kesh (Discipline of the physical and spiritual body), and Qigong Kesh (Discpline of the Force) had shaped him into a worth while combatant for someone of only sixteen years old. While he may not have had the strength of a full grown adult, he was agile and counted on that speed and maneuverability to overcome most larger opponents he had faced in the past.

His left hand soon moved to draw his Buckler that was slung over his back, his arm being fitted into the brace that he be able to make proper use of the defensive weapon, whilst his right hand found the hilt of his Lightsaber. Upon activation, the blade exploded from the hilt, noticeably wider than the typical lightsaber thanks to the Kunda Stone within; it was by the boys design that the weapon would prove formidable against all types of weapons, especially heavily forms of combat such as vibro-axes and that of greater mass.

"If there is to be a fight here, it is mine" he spoke firmly, this time directing his voice to the Sith, Adrian Vandiir, though Caedyn knew nothing about their foe; "Or you can leave...Turn around and leave my people be".

Nobody's Fool
Perceptive, truly. Fett bad taken a keen interest in every slight movement Arenais made, especially as he wielded a Lightsaber. An instrument of deathh held by both Peacekeepers and Antagonistic Warriors, quite the juxtaposition. His feet had begun shuffling backwards as the barrage retained it's intensity, understanding the motions made by Veiere and what they were to do. Flames spat from his jetpack with violence, hoisting him into the air, finding himself pelted with pieces of the planet on his way. The scratched paint, forced a grunt from his lungs, and creating a large distance between the two. The beskar, the ceramic plates, the power-armour liner had done their job from protecting him from kinetic damage, but that didn't nullify the pain it caused.

A concussion missile had soared from his wrist as he thrust the left arm forwards, an ammunition that mimicked the effects of a, you guessed it, concussion. If it were to strike, Veiere was sure to find himself in a daze, and it was in that moment Fett was to begin firing with his Carbine. His ascension had slowed from the initial burst, but he remained in the air, hovering, gliding, keeping distance from the Jedi that as more than capable of cutting him down.

The Bounty Hunter had moved into flight as if it were mere instinct, keeping on the move had saved [member="Koda Fett"] from being crippled and left to fend off the Jedi from the ground alone. Veiere watched his foe as his feet skidded to a halt in the clearing outside of his Estate, their environment surrounded by tree's and the view of Chasin City besieged. Perceptive indeed, the Bounty Hunter made use of the explosives he had on his arsenal, though he would not be met without retaliation again as Veiere thrust forward another wave of Telekinetic Energy, a wall of force not only meant to impact into the Hunter but so too send the rocket he had fired, back at him.

As for his Carbine, Veiere's lightsaber rose to deflect as many of the bolts as he could counter, instinctively prioritizing those certain to hit him while he moved to back away gradually looking to put further distance between them and diminish the Bounty Hunters accuracy as much as possible. There was a certain art to the deflection of blaster fire, a form that had been created for the sole purpose of defensive fighting known to the Jedi as Soresu. Veiere had studied it well, it had been his primary form taken as a Consular of the Order and one whose strengths lay in the use of the Force as opposed to saber combat alone.

"What?" Vanessa said. "You're telling me they already incapacitated Kay?"

"Yep." Said a Dark Trooper.

"And we didn't even do anything?"

"Nope."

"Fuck. Well, let's get the fleet in here so we can get to work dissecting those Commenori warships, see if they have anything of use in them. At least we'll get something out of the whole deal." With that, they began their journey to the planet's surface so they could get off this world and move on elsewhere. They had ships to chop up.

Too Stubborn
The Bounty Hunter never strayed his course, continuously strafing through the air in an attempt to constantly be on the move. It made Fett a more difficult target to strike, especially with the use of the force at the Jedi's disposal. The Lightsaber wasn't worth much in ranged combat, unless he had thrown it. Yet, that was bound to leave the Jedi in a moment of defencelessness, something he could ill-afford. Fett had been struck by a wave of kinetic energy, though. It hit him with force, and the missile too. It's course was unobtainable, wildly flailing back in the direction it came whilst the Mandalorian behind it managed to stagger backwards from such a thing, even whilst in the air. The jetpack, concealed behind his form, remained untouched and ever active. It was his greatest advantage agains any Jedi. The bolts careened through the air, but they hadn't struck true.

He shifted backwards, making a landing on the estate's rooftop. Fett's HUD kicked into overdrive as all these different commands were made, one that was deadly and dangerous, capable of killing a man, just as ordered. Not one for games, but for results. This may very well be the first time he felt it was necessary. A barrage of missiles departed his gauntlet, all baradium cored and ready for detonation; a series of darts involving paralysis toxins sliced through the air; hard-sound rippled once more, and the Blaster Carbine within his grip began having it's trigger squeezed down upon with a certain intensity. Wherever he moved, his aim was to follow.

Lori wasn't used to being called a lady, or any other title for that matter. Reason being is that she was hardly ever put in the spotlight, a decision made by her parents for herself and her brother so that they could live semi-normal lives. Only when she had gotten into trouble by her Mandalorian guardian was she ever called upon by any one of her titles. But this wasn't the time for correction, or even to argue for that matter. They had more important things to worry about. Like getting out of danger.

Quickly they moved through the tunnels, finally reaching topside. All through their journey, Lori was worried about not hearing from [member="Caedyn Arenais"] . Was he in trouble?
Was he captured already?

They weren't at their destination yet. The next access point was across a big field. That alone was dangerous as it left them out in the open, clearly visible
Florence took the lead, blaster rifle in hand. Following in behind was Lori, [member="Silfe Sosuri"] and Hobbes.

The speeder vehicle of sorts looked far too clunky and patched together than anything that the Sith Empire would tolerate. So when it approached, the two members of Fringe unit had their weapons out, but not heavily trained on the occupants.

When [member="Jagger Swaggernaut"] poked his ugly head out, Lori just blinked. Was he seriously asking for food? Silfe responded to him first, upon which the Princess was quick to reply right after. "Yeah, we can trade you some food for a ride.
How 'bout it? We won't be going that far either, but we're kinda in a hurry."
She didn't want to say where they were going just yet. There was always the chance that he was a spy.

Beth felt devastated. The loss of life, the situation with Adara, wondering if Baiko was alive or a captive, it was all just... Too much for the teen. She had no answers, no real plan, and really, she was just... Existing. Trying to help but finding herself sitting on a sidewalk next to a holoprojector store. She was lost, although [member="Kat Decoria"] was providing her some much-needed optimism. Beth held back the sting in her eyes. There would be no tears this day. She had to get off the planet. [member="Lady Kay"] was with Darth Carnifex - which means she would either be dead soon, imprisoned forever, or maybe her mom could get her release into Mandalorian custody.

Maybe. It turned out that [member="Caedyn Arenais"] was with a woman named [member="Asaraa Vaashe"]. At least they were safe. Beth hoped [member="Loreena Arenais"] was okay and at least she was near her brother and the Jedi. In truth, though, Beth wasn't sure how they could plan. Her ears still were in a defensive, defeated position. Kat wanted Beth to evacuate with them and the other Silver Jedi. She smiled at the woman before giggling at Kat's comment of beating anyone up who wasn't polite. That was adorable of her. But, Beth didn't want to risk Kat to get in trouble for harboring an enemy. Kark, she was worried when Caedyn briefly visited Mandalorian space. Granted, that was presuming if she was even recognized by others.

Which... In truth, she really wanted to evacuate with Kat. The problem was that her Gramma Baiko's ship was still here. Beth didn't know what the Empire's reaction would be to the Sith invasion of Commenor - whether they'd sustain peace, go to war, or whatever. Beth just knew she had to stay anonymous to not spark an attack on the Empire... What if the Sith did this to one of their worlds? In some ways, her nation was still recovering from the civil war. Was it selfish to think about protecting her own worlds when Commenor was burning? Beth wasn't sure, but she knew her heart ached.

She saw Kat's reaction and that was enough to confirm that what they felt... Had really happened. Her stomach sank as she saw Kat's reaction. Beth rubbed her stinging eyes as she stood up and helped Kat up from her knees. She held her back in the moment. "It's going to be okay. Somehow, it will," she whispered. After the embrace, Beth squeezed Kat's hand. "No, you can't risk the Sith getting you. They'll know who I am and that means it might not be as bad for me. don't know if they'll do such for you." She put her hands on Kat's shoulders, "They may have my sister, they may have just killed my Gramma, and now they definitely have my great-aunt. I have my Gramma's ship, it's how I got here a-and escaped." Her voice wavered. She was lucky to make it out of Sabarene space, in truth. "I need to get it so they don't know I was here." They being... Literally everyone in her family. Beth hated the idea of being constricted by her actions because of her family relationships but... It is what it is. There was also the small problem of Yasha not even knowing she went with Baiko to Sabarene... Ugh. There was a fatal flaw in her 'try to leave the planet without no one knowing it was her' scheme. [member="Darth Carnifex"] had tracked the Myrmadinas to Commenor. The bigger problem? Beth had no idea he did so.

"Get to Asa and Caedyn and get out of here before it gets worse. You'll be a lot safer with them! I gotta get that ship and get back it back to Mandalore... If my Gramma lived somehow, she... No one knows we left Mandalore and..." It was complicated and Beth didn't really know how to explain and her voice faded quickly. Plus, Beth's mind felt clouded. Was she making the right calls? She honestly had no idea. "Please?" Beth begged for Kat to get to safety. She couldn't stand if something happened to her just because of the weird stuff going on within Beth's life. She put her buy'ce back on and gave Kat one last hug. "Tell Caedyn and Lori I said Hi. And thank Asa for keeping them safe!" She winked playfully, trying to give Kat her best reassuring smile possible.

One, the man known as The Slave would have obliged the woman; sitting idle with her to enjoy a drink, to follow hand in hand in endless eccentricities that come with such an off the wall personality. He was a wild individual, once, who’d personality knew only the bounds of his ego, manipulation and testing others a common staple point of more than a few conversations. However, while this more socially orientated identity festered in his blackened heart, what lay on the surface was a dogmatic patriot of an Empire he didn’t even know had failed him long before he was ever apart of it.

His teeth gritted themselves tight, letting the anger of the Sith to wash over him; he couldn’t stand the way she spoke to him, underestimated him, idled herself in the face of danger. Memories implanted within him kept him even, aggrandized to combat, yet reality was far different. He spoke little now, bringing his emotions to bear against the Jedi before him;

The blade in his hand swung out, though no blade was visible. His form was traditional of the Makashi stylings, though his elongated stance sent the sword jutting outwards like a spear to the open breastplate; anything short of beskar or phrik being easily destroyed by the strike. It was not the fastest, and certainly not the move of a well endowed master; but it carried with it a danger that kept her at length despite the reach; something Makashi was notorious for.

As the anger grew, soft whispers grew in his mind, the distant call of a past no longer his own, growing wild with a overture of tones that never ceased. Their subtle nature however, was overwhelmed shortly after as the device deep within his brain began to activate once more; strengthening the artificial personality that struck out at the Jedi even know.

She smiled when he struck and stepped forward into the strike, turning her body just enough to ensure his blade could glance off her armor, the invisible weapon pushing through the force. She had sacrificed her physical sight for something she considered far more beneficial, and with it came a direct connection to the flow of the force. If Maliphant had looked through the force, he would see it pushing into her body and crawling over her like a new set of veins and muscle that twisted and changed as the force was used.

In this instant, his blade would hit the armor and glance off, as if it were some common metal blade, the burn mark showing on the metal but nothing more. All while this happened, all while she stepped forward and turned so that he would see his strike hit her armor, her hand came forward and aimed to strike Maliphant in the face with an open palm, the same open palm that had been outstretched a moment before to invite him to dance.

She had not been skewered due to one power, that which was more commonly used on weapons like the spear she held in the other hand and was not yet used. It was Force Weapon, or rather Armor in this case as his blade contacted with a temporarily imbued armor, one that quickly shifted to block from a return strike. She did not imbue the entirety of her armor, knowing that much concentration would be inefficient and a waste of her energy. But if she protected what faced his weapon, if she shifted where the protection would be, she could keep up with him, without so much as drawing her sabers.

And that was the point of striking him with an open palm, though the force behind it would feel like she had slammed into his face with a fist. The new body of hers was a bit stronger than it looked, as well as moved in ways that was not entirely human when she used it to its fullest extent. For now though, she kept to the more refined and familiar style of fighting. The one she knew well, and that her father had taught her. Explosive strikes with an open palm to protect one's own hand. It could disorient and knock someone out just as well as a fist, just with less risk.

And if it should strike, should he stumble back and look up at her, he would find a woman shifting her position and taking the spear in both hands now. The Force charging up and down the weapon's length as she smiled and laughed a bit.

"Wonderful, but I think you should let me lead. Your form is all wrong."

Kat held Beth tight as they both dealt with the life lost on Munto City, she stroked Beth's hair slowly as Kat attempted to soothe the struggling Mandalorian. Kat had dealt with death before, death of her father had been truly difficult but she never felt so many lives perish so suddenly. Once Beth slowly regained her composure, Kat looked her in the eyes and gave a look of understanding. Things were bad but Kat never gave up hope that they would improve. "We can stop the Sith Empire, this is only a temporary setback. United we stand strong." Kat whispered to Beth in hopes of inspiring a flicker some hope inside the downtrodden woman.

Beth mentioned about them splitting up, Kat firmly shook her head. "I don't care where we go, but we go together. They might not be looking to take prisoners, I won't let you run around the city and further alone." Kat placed a hand on her hip and glared at her friend for even suggesting that they split up and go there different ways. "Where was the ship? If it's in the city then we can grab it and go check on your gramma before we leave Commenor, they wouldn't bring your sister here. Too risky to bring a hostage to a siege." Kat commentated to Beth. "Where we go after leaving Commenor is up to you, no one at SJO has to know who you are or that you are a Mandalorian though there is a Mandalorian at Kashyyyk. Some Preliat... I think he's Mantis too, but I never really interacted with him. But he's not a prisoner or treated definitely." Kat really wanted Beth to come with her, she couldn't deal with leaving her friend behind.

Beth tried to get Kat out of here. She pressed her forehead to Beth's looking into her eyes with Kat's being full of concern. "I am not going anywhere without you. You know how much I care about you, I'm not hiding my feelings for you. I am not letting you rush into danger without backup, we go together and find your gramma, or we stand here fighting all day and get captured." Kat's hands cupped Beth's helmet as she took a deep breath. It was tough for her to admit all this and stand this confident, but her fears of losing Beth were too much. "So lets go find gramma's ship and hopefully get you both out of here. I'll contact Asaraa and say that we have some other things to do and find another way outta here."

The last time Mythos faced an opponent with this incredible martial art skill was none other than his master [member="Darth Ophidia"]. He skillfully eliminated what made Mythos super mobile and then showed what Mythos and his H.U.D. identified as the legendary style of Teras Kasai. Too late for this information to be of any good. Mythos moved in smelling the kill but this Jedi was far from dead, on the contrary, Mythos took a guess that this Jedi was just getting warmed up.

A smile crossed his face for a millisecond. 'So am I'

Adas the Spirit of the Ax sought to swallow this battle in darkness but just like the new owner of the weapon Adas too underestimated his foe. The blast of light that burst from Kol in response to Adas drove Adas back to the pit of the ax from whence he came. Mythos was in control but he felt it, he felt it like a punch in the face as darkness was swallowed hole.

The Light still had a leg to stand on while warriors like [member="Aten Ramses"] had the courage to fight. The Sith would not plow through easily while true Jedi opposed it. The cycle of war, of Light and Darkness would hold.

When Adas shot back Mythos was struck again by the Visions of Korriban and now they came at the most inopportune time. Mythos swung hard, seeking to sling Aten and his head off but the Jedi was faster and Mythos could not see. That feline-like line became drawn in his eyes and all he could see was a war, an ancient war, Rakkatan butchery and fury from it's true King.

When the uppercut came and connected squarely on his jaw unprotected by the armour he was still under the vision, blinded by the very Sith Magic that once aided him.

Shortcuts to power had a price to be paid... all Sith knew this to be true.

Under an X-Ray the true impact of that hit could appreciated. Mythos' jaw almost completely shattered on impact instantly, teeth went broken and the mouth in general was blown to pieces. Mythos went up with Aten and his fist, as the ion-engine-like booster of the fist lifted them both up the pressure crushed part of his upper skull and his front lobe of the brain was also bashed.

Mythos was spared the pain, he wasn't here, as he flew through the air and Aten went down his mind was far, far away.

Meters up in the Air, his heart stopped pounding. The Visions lost their power as he blacked out. It would have been the end of the battle had it not been for one thing.

THE GALACTIC ALLIANCE.

His soul knew pain, his soul knew suffering, his body had wanted rest and death for years but one thing kept this demon of the past awake and killing: Revenge.

The vision of Korriban was replaced with the vision of his son, the boy's mother [member="Darth Ren Malgus"] in her youth and the palace how it used to be... before the dark times. Before the Alliance. He wished he could stay there in the arms of those he loved but reality kicked in like a hyperthruster on a spice run. He blinked and his home went up in flames, the image of those who came... Draco, Voidstalker, Specer, Sionoma, The Rouge Squadron, Firemane...

His soldiers dead by the thousands of millions. His son Dying of a blaster shot. The boy's mother in Captivity in Abregado.

As he flew through the air one thought woke him up. One promise he had made that brought him back from the dead.

"I am going to Kill them all and anyone who stands in my way"

As he flew, slowly he began to glide and then slower still he began to float in place as the ax orbited around his form. He looked dead, limp as he just floated there ominously. It was a horrible thing to behold when he stood up, standing in air as if it was duracrete. The debris and rocks around Aten and him began to float as if the entire Senate Building just deactivated it's artificial gravity.

It was not technology. It was the darkside of the force claiming it's prophet. His eyes seemed lost but were trained on the Jedi, his scowl was twisted, dripping blood and broken teeth as well as torn flesh. He was bleeding from several lacerations and cuts on his head and if one paid attention the scars of carved runes upon his body began to fester and rot as if suddenly time had passed since they were carved.

He raised the ax as if it was a spear, pointing the edge of the macabre weapon at Aten that looked so small from where he was before. His left hand showed it's palm to Aten and Mythos manipulated the darkside around him in a technique common in Niman but Mythos used it to lock on.

Aten would feel a massive pull, like a force choke but around the area he was in. It was so strong that the rubble that floated around him was crushed into dust as if a droid made a fist with it inside. Mythos spoke in clear sith, Adas making an Echo behind him

"Dodge this..."

It was like watching a Sith Meteor coming down, aided by the repulsor boots and the mastery of telekinesis Mythos had he held the Jedi in place and flung himself at him from the sky. He aimed at the centre mass of the Jedi, eyes on the lightsaber to go over his guard, an easier task for someone with longer reach. Upon impact he let loose a force repulse but keeping the jedi in his hold to take the full blast of his ax and the blast of his meteoric crash.

If the blast that levelled the city had shook the Senate, Mythos would break it's walls.

As the Lord Regent's LAAT drew closer to Veiere's mountain estate, the sound of it's engines would fill the air near Veiere and Koda's location. The gunship began circling around the estate when it's pilot spotted the confrontation down below. "Lord Regent, I've spotted Arenais down below! He appears to be in combat with a Mandalorian bounty hunter!", the pilot said loudly, to gain his superior's attention. "Very good. Bring us down so we may provide Veiere assistance, then bring the gunship about and target the Mandalorian with the frontal blaster cannons. Fire only at my command, and keep your distance.", Morcus said in his usual commanding tone of voice.

As the gunship made it's landing in the courtyard just outside Veiere's estate, Morcus and Imperius Squad quickly departed it, the squad scattering to take cover across the courtyard while the Lord Regent held his ground. He drew forth his curved lightsaber hilt, igniting it's crimson blade before he spoke. "Mister Arenais. Is this bothersome bounty hunter giving you trouble? I'd be quite happy to eliminate the wretch who killed my clone, should you wish the assistance.", the Lord Regent said with a slight smirk.

The two shuttles would detach from the observation platform and begin to rise into the upper atmosphere as a squadron of Shadow Droids moved to shadow their departure from the planet. They entered a scene of total triumph, as the Imperial Armada continued to mop up any further resistance among the Commenori defense fleet. Boarding parties would be dispatched to ships that had surrendered so that the command crews could be taken into Imperial custody. Once the battle had completely concluded, the surviving Commenori ships would be moved further out into the system and dismantled to be reconstituted as new warship parts for the Sith Empire in their massive factory ships.

A great shadow would pass over Commenor as the Behemoth and the Goliath flew in synchronized formation with a myriad of smaller ships surrounded them like a protective shroud, a harrowing sight for those that still believed that Commenor could win this fight today. The Crestfallen II and the Midnight both rendezvoused at the Behemoth, landing nearby on the massive hangar deck as the passengers of both ships exited and waited for one of the repulsor-trams to pick them up. The two shuttles would then take off and maneuver further down the hangar to be stored away in designated docking bays.

The Emperor looked down on the captive Queen, "Take heart, your Highness. Thanks to you, your people did not suffer annihilation and they will continue to thrive and grow stronger, their evolution secured." His rhetoric was pervasive and consistent, and it wouldn't be the last time she'd hear of it either now that she was firmly in their diabolical clutches.

As the team filed out and pressed onward towards the sewers, Sebastian and the operatives took to the their stations. The response from General Vexen arrived on the encrypted channel. Illegible letters rolled down the screen, which Sebastian worked to decipher as the seconds ticked by. He reorganized the digits and typed out the message, which warned the team of any measures taken by the enemy to rectify the weaknesses the Imperials had targeted in the design of the shield.

"Message received, General, patching through." Holding the mouthpiece to his lip, Sebastian to Vexen with affirmation. He opened the channel to Matsu and her forces, then sent message to their communications equipment."Roger M'lady, I'm going to break into the security cameras and see if I can get a view of the street." His voice relayed to Matsu and company, before cutting out with a pop of static.

With a sigh, Sebastian leaned back into his chair and stretched. He quickly exited out of the channel and opened up the Commenori security network. Cracking his fingers, he placed his hands on the keys and prepared to work. He prepared a false address which their operatives could not trace, which he entered into the server. At first, the network denied him access. Beeps from the terminal contrasted sharply against the booms from out outside, paired with the rapid tapping of Sebastian's fingers. He entered a scramble key, which prepared an encryption that he began to crack.

On the second attempt, Sebastian sifted through the encryption and entered the correct code. The system granted him access and revealed the security database. He sifted through the keywords for camera systems locate in Chasin City and pinpointed the street view above the manhole where Matsu and the others were headed. Delving further into the server, he execute commands to prevent Commenori operatives from entering the system while the cameras were under his control. A Commenori address popped up and tried to delete his false account as he traced their actions. Sebastian opened up the channel to address and typed a single sentence.

"Beep, beep motherkarker." With a few taps, the message was sent. "This is my house now." As he typed, Sebastian uploaded a particular kind of virus to the account of last remaining operative, frying his software and preventing him from accessing the network. Working through the backlog of passwords to target the address, he finally entered their account and uploaded the virus. As the name of the address disappeared from the database, the camera system above the street granted Sebastian access to their controls.

"I'm in." He confirmed to Matsu through the mouthpiece. In the opposite window of his terminal, he saw he what he had been looking, a street-wide view of the manhole where the Sith forces would exit. Leaning back into his chair, he beamed to himself for a moment, before the reality of the situation became apparent. Switching to the camera focusing on the generator, he maneuvered the controls to get a better of view of the area. A small horde of soldiers wielding lightsabers were gathering at the base, ready to ambush the Imperials when they arrived.

"This is Agent Thel to General Vexen and Matsu Xiangu, enemy forces are within the perimeter and approaching the access point. I repeat, enemy forces are approaching." Opening the channel to both Vexen and Matsu, he sent an urgent message warning them of imminent combat. Zooming the camera in on the faces of the various Light Side users, he took shots, which he uploaded to the Saraaisash network. The database scanned the images for any known information on the individuals. They were confirmed Force-users and some of them Jedi. "Force-users confirmed, some Jedi." Sebastian said into both channels.

"Calculating chances of success against targeted forces depending on proximity and location." Speaking solely to Matsu this time, Sebastian took into account the numbers. On a third terminal, he brought up the map of the sewers which he had charted and determined the width of the tunnel compared to the amount of both the Imperial forces and their enemies combined. Muttering calculations beneath his breath, he revised solutions and settled on an answer which was both efficient and beneficial to the Sith Forces.

"Lady Xiangu, you need get to get to out of the sewers as soon as possible. Our forces outnumber the enemy, but combat will be overcrowded in the sewers. My calculations determine a greater chance of survival in an open area." After he relayed the message, Thel took a breath. "I'm mapping out the most efficient route to the manhole closest to the generator." He said after swerved to the terminal on which the map was displayed. Accessing the program, he the amount of time the team would need to reach the generators before the Jedi, as well as the closest distance between their present location and the manhole.

After revising solutions in his mind, he marked a particular manhole as an access point and updated the map on the communications equipment of the team. "Exit through the access point which I have marked and make for the generators." He confirmed through the mouthpiece. Through the camera, he took shots of the base of the generator, which had already been damaged from the fighting. "The generator is already buckled, so destroying it shouldn't take long, Thel out." The message terminated.

On the Saraaaisash network, reports arrived confirming the destruction of Munto city. Operatives cheered around the room, while Sebastian only sat back in his chair and bit his index finger. The situation was beginning to press the anxiety which he thought left behind years ago. Things were only about to get worse. The Commenori security network was still accessing lit up with alert, an incoming transmission from a channel within the city. Squinting in curiosity, he opened the channel and heard the voice of somebody he had not since his first year of university.

"Lori!" He spoke through the channel to Loreena Arenais. Gripping the earphones on his head, he listened deathly for her voice, until he remembered just where he was. "I..." Stammering, he waited for a few more seconds to think. "I'm sorry." He terminated the transmission and relayed Lori's location to Vexen. "General Vexen, this is Agent Thel. I've intercepted a message from the Queen's daughter, patching through her location now." His tone was monotonous and professional. The time for nostalgia was over. He was not a child anymore.

"Sith, true to their word."

Shia snorted to her second.

"Carnifex only breaks his word when it really suits him. Better to play the statesman of 'Galactic Evolution'."

She looked around at the city as their droids passed unmolested through to the spaceport, to be quietly packed away into the freighters they arrived in. She could see where they'd put the prominent - but not too prominent - signs of Imperial occupation.

"You know him quite well, alor?"

Shia shook her head, gesturing over to the small pockets of resistance.

"Better than them. But no. My vod knows him well, and she feels she walks a tightrope. Maybe she does, maybe it makes her better than I am. If I were Mandalore, we'd be at war now. But mark my words, we will be chosing sides sooner or later. Thats how the cycle works. Jedi and Sith - the extremists, anyway - they won't, almost can't, give you another choice. But until then, credits are credits, and those credits are fuel for our survival when the winter blows in from the Galactic North."

And with that, the two passed through the spaceport entrance before the new occupiers could secure it. Better she not be seen. Yasha would, without doubt, be making a play for Kay's life. She did not need 'your mercenaries count as a breach of our non-aggression pact' as ammo for the other side. She didn't think Carnifex would use it - after all, how could he tempt Mandalorians into his Empire if he didn't hire them, which require publically acknowledging the neutrality of contract work. But, better safe than sorry.

"Kot bal ijaa, ner vod." She whispered.

Never met a Mandalorian I liked.

The blaster of salvo fire was almost the end of poor Nej, if the son of a queen hadn't been quick on his feet and simply- disengaged the rocket boots. The salvo went over Nej, while he tumbled to the floor. Falling a few feet before he managed to click them on again with the button near his thumb- he narrowly avoided falling to the ground far too fast.

He was next to Ayessa after that, disruptor and blaster at the ready. One set to stun, the other- set to extreme murder. "Yeah, I was in the neighborhood and I figured you needed the help. So you and I are gonna get out of here-" Then he saw Rook.

"Who's that?"

Nej was entirely distracted. As referred to earlier, kind of an idiot. The room grew eerily quiet, minus the hushed whispers of Nej towards Ayessa.

"You know I thought we had kind of a thing- you know. With the. Us. Or am I worrying too much? Am I smothering you? I'm sorry. We should get back to the fighting."

Nej blooped his helmet back on and turned to the Mandalorian, both weapons pointed at him.

"Leave me and my ladyfriend and this other guy alone- you big dummy."

Kay breathed an inward sigh of relief as [member="Darth Prazutis"] seemed to accept her broadcast as being good enough to spare another city. She hated being under his boot and with choice being stripped away. Of course she still had choices, but not complying meant that more innocents would die; like those in Munto City. Those that perished there would not be forgotten. She'd see to that and have a memorial built, maybe even turn the crater into a huge field of flowers. It would turn a tragedy into something beautiful where people could quietly reflect and mourn.

She offered no resistance as she was hoisted to her feet and brought into the shuttle. Nor did she hang her head in shame. Kay kept most of her feelings to herself. She tucked them away where they could be safe.

This was not a problem that was going to go away quickly. If she was going to win, she'd have to play their game. For a while. That is once she was free. Whenever that would be, she had no idea. But if they wanted her dead, they'd of taken her head already.

The shuttle ride was quicker than expected, although her destination wasn't. The guards unclipped her from the seat and brought her out as soon as the shuttle docked. Kay looked up to [member="Darth Carnifex"] as he spoke, his words weren't cruel in nature, but the meaning behind them was like pouring salt in her wounds. Her own words were spoken quietly and under her breath as she looked down to the harness she wore and the Sith Imperials that surrounded her. "Yeah...some hero, I am..."

Kay thought of her family then; her children and estranged husband. Hopefully they'd get to safety, either hiding somewhere on Commenor, or able to escape it. Either way, she didn't want any of them to be taken into custody.

At least with the broadcasts, they'd discover that she was still alive.
