The Past Revisited (RR/Fel Empire/CSA)

Location : Orenda Jedi Temple
Those Invited : All Members of the Republic, The Fel Empire, and The CSA

Alexandra rubbed her eyes as she left the council chambers of the newest temple for the Jedi Order of the Republic. It was a rather different place, constructed on the plains of Orenda in a strange cavernous hole that seemed to have been created by some unknown force. She had spent a long time regrowing the vegetation that now covered the temple's walls and roofs, creating what looked to be a Hill more than a building. But that was the point of the temple, one that mixed with nature just as the temple on Ciomia had been overtaken by the forest.

It was a theme Alexandra enjoyed and it inspired life's connection to them. Her work was a small bit when it came to the construction of their newest temple, having spent most of her time maintaining and regrowing the life that now surrounded the temple's location, and leaving its construction and design to the other masters and knights. Such a temple had become one created by its occupants and taken form by those who lived within its walls. And to celebrate it's creation, Alexandra had reached out to another sanctioned order of force users, as well as inviting Civilians and Representatives from the Fel Empire, CSA and the Republic to come to the Jedi's newest temple.

Of course, Alexandra had set up this entire get together through a friend of hers, the one who had been able to invite those who had arrived today or atleast passed on the invitation to those who would be curious and interested. [member="Jairdain"] had stood with her on Coruscant, had been there with her on Veradune during her recovery and the change into her new body, and had been a good friend for some time now. Alexandra thought on the matter and grabbed at her hair, its red color showing as she no longer used her Illusion around the Jedi. It was strange being truthful about her appearance and that she had died before, only to be brought back. She kept quiet on her recent death actually being the second one, but that was to cut down on questions from those who did not belong prying into her past.

She hoped that this meeting would create some bonds, as well as show to two other nations how the Jedi were not the same entity as the other orders. Its separation from a military aspect and focus on a temple surrounded by life and the light was something Alexandra had been adamant on. She had also made certain that the Republic had been informed of this meeting, in a slight hope for it to make connections with the other guests, and create a safe, more stable galaxy. She was a sucker for history repeating itself, and this chance was too good for her not to see if it would repeat itself in small ways tonight.

Which was also why she had moved into a central area, a skylight letting light fall down into the center of the room and there a single patch of earth and grass remained. Her hand retrieved a seed from a pouch and she put it to her lips, breathing out and letting the force wrap around the seed before kneeling down and pressing the seed into the ground, taking her place in this central room and waiting. She would be there, allowing the Jedi and those who had come to enjoy and see the creation of the newest temple to wander. After all, there were no armed guards, no Republic soldiers, no military presence or defense droids. Only Younglings running through the halls of their newest home, and the knights, masters and guests talking in the rooms, halls and outside the temple.

"A new start..." Alex said to herself, letting the force come to her hands as she began to grow her newest tree while her newest family enjoyed their creation.

(OOC: All Fel Empire, CSA, and RR characters are more than welcome. Keep in mind this Temple has no military defenses due to the Order being a civilian entity within the RR, as such I would ask kindly that weapons be kept to a minimum. So Sabers, light blasters, and so on. Furthermore, all posts in this thread will be looked over by myself and if it contains information that details the temple, that information will be added to the codex entry that this temple will get later on. So please, use your imagination and describe the temple to your heart's content. All those in this thread are the creators of this newest temple, and I want to see you enjoy making something not just thought up by me, but instead created by you all... have fun!)

How long had it been since stardust actually visited a temple? Years? It seemed it was years, however it was a change as she stepped from her drop ship admiring the outside of it from afar seeing that grey and green mixed it you didnt look close enough or did a fly by it would just look like a hill nothing more.

Takimg a breath in she walked forward, dressed in her normal which might make her look more like a soldier...however it was her simple wear just her armor and usual weapons. She started walking towards the temple as she got closer she stopped and whistled seeing the details now and smiled...just like when she learned the force...became a force used she was today...

The arrival of Jairdain had been quiet. Invitations and messages had been given to the Imperial Knights of the Fel Empire to come to this meeting and she truly hoped not to be the only one that did. As the Grand Master of the Imperial Knights it was her duty to appear. However, it was the thought of reuniting with a friend that was more important to her.

Alexandra Feanor and Jairdain had spent an extended amount of time together not too long ago. Both of them recovering from radiation poisoning they had received on Coruscant at the Jedi Temple there. They had the opportunity to get to know each other and a friendship had formed. Now through that friendship, it opened the doors for their governments to also meet. If everything went well, alliances would be formed and they would help one another on a grander scale than the simple one of being friends.

Here Jairdain came as the Grand Master, but also remembered her friends from Commenor. There she held no power with their Force users, but was the advisor and fiancée to the Crown Prince. The invitation had been given to them as well. An additional one was sent to [member="Vulpesen"], it invited him along since she also considered him a friend and ally to herself. It was because of him she was even alive. So he should be here as well. Besides, it would give him another opportunity to interact with Alexandra. The invitation did not mention her at all though.

When she arrived, Jairdain felt for her friend and followed the familiar presence to walk up to her. Not bothering with a ton of formalities, she openly smiled at her and spoke.

"I'm glad to have this opportunity, Grand Master Alexandra."

Vulpesen groaned and turned over in his bunk, pulling his blanket over his face. "Ten more minutes..." His voice came out as a gutteral growl, relying on the more natural tones of his Zorren anatomy to get his message across. Of course, his ten more minutes wouldn't come as with the slightest sigh heard from above, his sheets would suddenly be yanked back, just before a firm hand gripped him by the ear and dragged him off of the soft surface.

"Sir, you said that thirty minutes ago! We'll be landing in Orenda in ten minutes, and I swear if you aren't presentable in that time or less, I will lock you inside your office with an Ysalimiri outside the door! Now go!" Valde. Vulpesen was the Valde of Veradune. He was not the king. Kings decided when they woke up for diplomatic meetings, Valdes followed unanimous council decisions, something his head advisor was certain to make clear as he threw Vulpesen's coat and overshirt at him. "Come on, hop to it!"

Used to dressing for battle with twice as much gear as he currently had, Vulpesen was dressed within five minutes, his saber strapped to one side with a fennec blaster on the other while three daggers lined the back of his belt. The invitation had asked for him to bring as few weapons as possible... for thim, this was bare minimum. He was after all, leading a security force when he met @Jairdain. "Alright alright, let's go." Gritting his teeth a bit as Lucas added a few adjustments to his uniform for good measure, he then followed his advisor out of the Vixen. Vulpesen was a soldier, made for battle. At most, he might have been a merchant, ready to make a deal. But a politician... that was not something he had ever seen himself doing. yet, here he was, representing the VSF, and the Wilders of Veradune at this meeting of Jedi and Imperial Knights.

Tom would wander in from the landing pads quietly. No one had paid attention to him yet. He passed several training and mediation rooms eventually finding his way to a courtyard. It was filled with many planets and birds of almost every species. It was amazing. Lots of flowers of every type and colour filled the area. Tom simply sat in awe of this spot. It was everything he could ever want. So he sat in the middle of the courtyard. As he did so birds would just sit down on him.

This was due to the inherit nature of Tom with animals. As such anyone who would come to the courtyard would find a young echani man covered in birds calmly meditating. The birds were calmer creatures than some of those Tom had work with before. He had lived on Myrkr in the forests he knew some of the most dangerous animals in the galaxy as friend. As such he was calm and a peace.

Kay approached the Temple with some apprehension. Her Force Signature was shrunken down to that of a small tree nut. Afterall, no one here would know her secret.

She came on her own, having insisted that her guards remain with her ship. What harm could come at a Jedi Temple? There were no Sith in the area that she knew of, no Dark Jedi either. But...she was going to keep her wits about her, regardless. It wasn't as though she couldn't take care of herself.

Kay watched as some birds flew to the courtyard. Something had caught their attention. She silently followed, raising a brow as she came upon [member="Tom Taff"] sitting there. The birds had trusted him enough to get so near to him. It was...strange. But then again this place seemed to bestow a sense of calm and peace to those that stepped within. Kay felt compelled to connect with it in the only way that was safe. She removed her shoes and let her bare feet touch the grass, letting in a deep breath and releasing it slowly as they soothed her feet. It was....lovely here. Like a dream...

Harley Fenstermacher

Harley was always trying to get talks with the Fel Empire under way, the whole trade thing that Jaster started coming to a halt for some reason that was never explained. Kind of a downer considering the new training route the Mando Clan leader had made, it was kind of annoying but he understood that being on that other side of the galaxy did present many problems.

This little get together at the new Jedi Temple on Orenda was probably going to be the best bet to meet up with those from the Fel empire, but more then that tose from the 'somehow still alive' CSA would be in attendance. "Hmmm I wonder if I will see [member="Jairdain"]? though she said her role was more and advisor then diplomat.... who know, better get going to this meeting and see what's going on anyways".

Walking through the many halls he kept a ping on the force signature of the RR Jedi master [member="Alexandra Feanor"] who had seemed to have become a red head over night, not that h Harley was complaining. Slowly the senator coming to where the woman was standing, seeming to be conversing with Jair of all people, fate sure liked to prove him wrong, did that mean someone of the royal Commoner family was here?

Shaking the hypothesis to the side Harley approached the two woman, coming near as they finished greeting one another, "well well well Jairdain, did not expect to see you of all people here, or you planning on making this place your new get away since the Sith booted you off Voss"? Shame that, he wanted to take a friend to the hot springs there, oh well could always just build one.

The temple was new. In fact, some of the rooms still had that new construction smell. Before he had left Oaken Dawn he hadn't known what that smell was. Most of their buildings were constructed of stone or wood. He loved the smell of freshly cut timber. There was something pleasing about that smell. It brought back good memories of playing with his siblings before they discovered he didn't share the same father. That had been the moment his life had become a struggle.

But there, on Orenda, the past could remain safely the past. At least his past could. The place in the temple that was different from the rest of the new was the library. It had access to the temple network, but it also possessed numerous tomes written on flimsi. Most were reproductions of the original tome, but the text was the same and therefore well worth the time to explore. In his case, he pulled down a history of the Jedi in the clone wars. That seemed interesting.

Moving across from the stacks, he settled into one of the chairs at a small table with a single lamp upon it. Cracking the book open to the first page, he began to read down the list of names of those mentioned in the book. He didn't recognize most of them, but there were a couple of noteable mentions. He didn't read things for the notables, though. Often the best insight came from those lesser known.

He liked a wide breadth of knowledge. Corvus had always encouraged it.

Even with the sidearm and his lightsaber, he felt like he was showing up to the party naked, but going without his Mandalorian armor was somewhat necessary. He really didn't want to piss of the Remnant Jedi Order by showing up over armed and armored for this shindig, and so he had decided to simply don an unassuming tan jacket, tan boots, some blue pants and a white undershirt for the meetup.

They couldn't stop him from bringing another part of his heritage though - he had crammed a small barrel of varos-blend tihaar into his fighter's copilot cockpit, and he was now carrying said barrel with a sleeve of disposable cups clumsily stacked on top in both arms as he walked past a few training and meditation rooms to enter the courtyard of the Orenda Jedi Temple.

He paid the Jedi and other attendees in the courtyard no mind as he entered. He was solely focused on finding a suitable place to set up his barrel.

Entering the temple she placed a hand along the walls, it was hard not to remember her younger years. She walked forward dragging a hand along it as she gave a sad smile. All the friends she made when she became a force user all she had lost because of the force...who she was today as a person as a force user, she stopped as she pulled one of her sabers off her belt and looked it over as she sighed.

feels like home almost

She said to herself and started walking entering the courtyard, she marveled at the sight especially the man with the birds all over him! Only animals that stayed by her was the dragons she had who..had grown quite a lot over the years. She looked around seeing only one she saw...her adopted sister kay. She approached by her side and let a breath out

ain't this place so...calm.

Location - Orenda Jedi Temple, Central Chambers, Tree of Light

Alexandra's hand moved to bring the seedling out from its shell, her eyes twisting in her head to look at those who entered into the room and stood at the edge of the pillar of light that came down from the sky, striking the ground and illuminating the circle holding the life of grass and the growing tree at the place in front of her hands. Her eyes first came to the one she counted as a friend, atleast more than that of Harley, but to be fair, their meetings had been opposites. Harley was one who she had met during missions or while as an observer for the Jedi in the Republic's Senate. She never stood with him in anything that could be considered a private or unsanctioned affair. [member="Jairdain"] though was very different in that manner, the woman a friend without a doubt or hesitation in using the word.

Her smile grew as the woman spoke to her, and soon Harley had entered to greet the darker haired woman. Alexandra waited for the man to greet Jair while she turned her eyes back down onto the plant, turning her hand and letting the plant uncurl from its seed. Her other hand touched the first petal lightly, letting the force flow from her and into the plant that rested before her, letting the light coil around the plant as a strand of life curled around that of the seed. It was about that time that Alexandra found her moment to speak to the two, bringing her eyes back up to the pair.

"Hello there, the both of you, I must say that it is a bit surprising to see you Harley, though I don't quite regret such a fact. As for you Jairdain, your appearance is one that I more than expected to see. It is great to see the both of you, and please, do away with such formalities. I am just Alexandra, always will be." Her hand moved to run along the growing sapling as it now reached a few inches in height and was slowly growing outwards as well.

It was about that time a presence touched her mind and she looked down at the plant once more, smiling far wider than she had meant to. Her mind reached out to confirm the fact, going through Daeda and asking if he could feel Ace nearby. The answer did not take long and she turned her eyes on Jairdain with an accusing stare, raising a brow at her.

"I don't remember telling anyone to invite a certain fox faced fool here, and considering his distaste with Jedi, I don't think the man intended on coming of his own choice. So... I wonder why he would be here, Any guesses?" She was still smiling wider than she had previously, trying to reason what was running through her mind and as a reaction how that strand of light that cared for the sapling grew brighter.

Brushing away Lucas' hands, Vulpesen adjusted his coat, smoothing it with his hands while he strode towards the temple. Behind him, two of his guards also came off the Vixen, each one holding a keg of Veran Whiskey. Given the nature of his metabolism, it was only right that Vulpesen bring along his own refreshments. Besides, it might serve as a bit of a pick-me up should things start to grow dull.

"Bad enough I don't have my launcher with me, boss. Can I at least ge a sip of this before we go back to the ship?" Sargent Garlan's voice held a pleading tone as he carried the weight. Far less complaining however, was his brother. Private Garlan was the newest addition to the VSF's team 1, though his function as a combatant was hardly important given his current duties

"Of course, sargent. Just try not to drop what you've got." Once he'd responded to the man, Vulpesen turned to see a somewhat familiar face. Years had passed since he'd last seen [member="Lady Kay"], and watching her bask in the warmth of nature, he felt himself grin. while a hand waved his men off to the main event where they could set the kegs. "You'd think with all your power and influence, you'd let loose a little more." A secret like hers, was one that he wouldn't forget, though of course, he had never spoken a word to anyone about what he had learned. "How've you been, your highness?"

Through two means, Jairdain had learned Lady could use the Force. It was a secret she kept close and only spoke with Bradshaw about it, not yet having had the opportunity to talk with Kay about it. If the queen even wanted to. No matter what happened in the future, it would not be Jairdain that spoke the secret Kay kept. She felt her presence here, but she was not yet close enough to speak to easily.

The approach of Harley that she met on Voss before the Sith had started to move in caused her to give him a smile.

"It is nice to meet you again. Thank you very much for telling me about Alexandra, if not for you, I'm not sure I would be here."

Thinking about how to answer his question, her face ended up looking a bit sad. Not so much at the thought of maybe being here, but at the loss of her home on Voss.

"I have a home on Commenor with the Prince I told you about. The one I advise and am engaged to. Remember? Additionally, I have a place with Fel Empire."

The arrival of others wasn't missed by her, but it wasn't until the arrival of Vulps that she actually showed anything. There was also what felt like a clear glare through the Force from Alex when she asked who had invited him to this gathering. There was no form of guilt that came from her for inviting him, but some humor. She did not confirm or deny having done it though.

Kay wiggled her toes in the grass, letting the blades weave in and around the gaps between her toes. She glanced over to [member="Stardust Bloodstone"] and nodded in agreement, then returned her gaze to [member="Tom Taff"] . She still had yet to thank him for his efforts on Umbara.

The voice of [member="Vulpesen"] came as a surprise. Her head turned in the direction of it. Yup. There he was. Kay hadn't seen him in years, not since she worked for the Galactic Republic. It was good to see that he was still around.

She smirked a little at his remark. "I have no power or influence outside of my home. That much I am fully aware." As for letting loose, Vulps wasn't the first suggest such a thing.

But now to answer his question. Just how had she been? On the political front she had survived a storm brought on by her estranged husband. Personally though, she was trying to keep it together and in doing so, had built up walls all around herself, secluding herself from others. Perhaps it was best to go with a simple answer. "I've been fine thanks. How about you?"

"I know you live in the CSA [member="Jairdain"], I was only joking with you, though the Fel Empire? Tell me what type of living arrangements do they offer on their side of the galaxy"? "I've shown interest and even begun negotiations to set up a second company location on one of their worlds", if Jaster ever came up with enough free time to actually bother setting up talks.

"But enough about that, who are thee new people that have come to this little meeting? I sense a few powerful force users, and some familiar ones at that", most prominently was that of the yet to be rexognised [member="Stardust Bloodstone"] and @Vulpesen. Certainly such a array of colorful people was worth an introduction of sorts.

"Still that does not fully answer my question, the specifics of this get together are kind of unknown to me, despite myself being one of the few active senators that have the time or want to deal in diplomatic affairs". For the most part the RR had not really deviled into diplomatic talks with any major faction besides the CIS, though he knew it was the CSA goal to get non-aggression pacts with every new power that rose in the galaxy.

The Alliance in Exile was reconvening, licking its wounds and working on reestablishing how it can help the worlds that were at one point unified under the might of the GADF and the great fleets. Now, the Alliance was working in secret, linking Republic Remnant to Outer Rim Coalition, to Confederacy and Silver Order. But there were others he could link together. The Fel Empire was arriving on the scene again. That was interesting.

General Coren Starchaser of the Alliance in Exile Sector Forces and a member of the leaders in the Shattered Order, he was given special privileges to move around the galaxy and make deals, and contacts that may affect large groups within the government. Living among the Outer Rim Coalition complicated the movements of his own people, but for a time they were left unhindered.

D’Qar had welcomed the refugees of Sullust, Coruscant and dozens of worlds. Fleets were moving people and material around, from worlds that flew Alliance flags to worlds that still do, even if in secret. Jedi were given a few tasks, but many were roped into posts in the military and government. Others remained in Shattered Order, responding like Jedi would. Coren’s personal freighter, the YT-2000 was disembarking from the CR-90 FarStar Refit Hornet’s Nest. Escorted by four TR-50 X-Wings, the ships touched on the planet’s surface.

Stepping out of his ship, he looked around. A gathering of Forcers at the Orena temple. Interesting.

Alexandra sighed and let the two continue talking, her eyes turning down to look at the plant as it was about a foot tall now. Her hand came and touched its growing branch, pulling her hand back and watching as the leave moved outwards with her hand. She started to hum to herself while those she had been talking to talked among themselves, not intruding on the conversation that [member="Jairdain"] and [member="Harley"] Fenstermacher were having. She smiled wide, touching her second hand to the ground and letting her breath fall from her as she let her eyes close.

She could feel a few other familiar individuals, like Vulpesen who was in another room and not in the secluded central chamber that she found herself in with Jairdain and Harley. There was also Mereel who she could feel walking around and Barrien who was greeting people unlike herself. She didn't mind saying hello to the Temple's guests, but from what she could tell was that most were already occupied, so she would not press them into coming to here, nor leave the plant with its progress only half way complete, or rather a fraction of the way complete.

She also felt the arrival of [member="Coren Starchaser"], interested in the man but leavnig him to make his way to whoever he chose to find. For now she continued her work and focused on the emotions that she found power in, old memories that were happy and left her smiling, memories that she could draw on for strength. A few stood out and were made all the easier by her being around a few that those memories involved. The tree grew a bit more, bark starting to show on the sapling as it began to take the shame of a tree.

"Sounds like you underestimate the power of a title. Sure you may not be able to command a random person to do what you wish, but if spoken properly, I'm sure you could get a few favors through your position. But I'll leave all that discussion to your advisors." Even while he was speaking, he could feel Lucas' eyes boring into the back of his heads, and could practically hear his voice in his skull. Leave internal affairs to their respective governments. "I've been alright. Restoring my extinct people, fighting sith, heading a security company, somehow not dying despite who knows how many people wanting my head on a platter. The normal stuff." Despite the violence in his life, the Valde held a wide smile. After all, even with people wanting him dead now, it wasn't much different than before. In fact, back then it had probably been worse.

Kay smirked and shook her head a little. She had been in enough inter-galactic meetings to know that whatever she said tended to be brushed aside. Titles, position; all of that was nothing. The only thing that mattered was who was beating the drums of war and who would answer. She was neither of those people. Her ways of dealing with disputes was more of the diplomatic sort. The major powers always turned a blind eye to such a thing. Experience had taught her as much. She wasn't even certain of how this meeting would go.

Kay slipped her shoes back on, listening to [member="Vulpesen"] as he gave her a bit of an update on himself. "I imagine that it's the Sith vying for your head? I'm not quite up to date with current affairs. New governments are popping up. Which of them has longevity, I'm not sure as of yet. But we'll find out soon enough. I'm glad to see that you're still around though. Are you still training people?"

He really needed to get someone to introduce him, or some music to come playing ahead of his arrival. Icky Thump or Immigrant Song, Shoot to Thrill, he was open to suggestions. But with the way the Jedi Master stepped anywhere, he knew what he was doing, what he was looking for. It was a bit of confidence, having been around the galaxy a few years. And fighting the war, and surviving? It gave one a sense of their purpose and abilities.

Looking around the gathering, he reached out into the Force, it was just a habit. He needed to see who here was friend, and who here could be foe. Sure, Taeli had betrayed the Alliance and she felt…mostly safe when he met her. His own hang ups of her being former Sith were the main reason she was a concern to him. Still, maybe he should have listened to his first instinct.

But that wasn’t why he was here, this wasn’t a hunting mission. It was… diplomacy. And a sharing of resources and training. The Republic Remnant had been a strong ally to the Alliance when that sort of thing was needed. A quick look around and then he was on with his primary focus, reaching out to the elected Grand Master here. Following the events on Coruscant, he needed to know what was going to happen to the Jedi. He reached out in the Force, looking for [member="Alexandra Feanor"].
