Lady of Juniper

Name: Jairdain Ismet
Alias: Jair
Gender: Female
Species: Zorren
Age: 56
Force Sensitive: Yes
Alignment: Neutral to Light
Occupation: Master

- Features: Long, straight, and black hair, bright violet eyes, and light brown skin when she's focusing on maintaining an illusion. When she's relaxed, she has elfen ears, a black and white fox's tail, and pale glowing yellow eyes.
- Height: 5'7"
- Weight: 130lbs
- Clothing: She usually wears an ivory-coloured tunic, tan soft leather pants, brown knee-high boots, and a black and green cloak. She also wears a white shirt, black vest, gloves, pants, and boots. The shirt is generally off-the-shoulder and features feathers in the hem of her arms.

Throughout her life, Jairdain has learned that there are times when she has to be harsh, cold, and hard; these times are few and far between. Most of the time, she is easy going, almost always has a smile, and is a pleasure to be around. She tries to keep hold of her emotions and remain calm through everything. She has a soft spot for orphaned children and will do everything within her power to help them. Jairdain is usually soft-spoken and would rather watch and listen to what is going on around her than speak out. She knows what is right and wrong and is very stubborn when it comes to her beliefs. She can be a bit naïve, though.
Since changing, her pleasant demeanour has almost vanished. Instead, she is more withdrawn, moody, and rather dark. While not cruel or mean, there is a harsh edge that wasn't there before.
After returning to the Silver Jedi, Jairdain has developed a sense of humor and is no longer the withdrawn or dark person she was. However, she can still be a bit moody. That hard edge remains, but it is muted now. She is no longer the girl who first joined the Jedi, but much of her is the same.
Her years employed on Commenor helped Jairdain finish growing up. Generally speaking, she can now handle what life throws at her with a totally calm attitude. That humour remains, though, and once in a while, it still shows. She is also no longer normally moody.

A few generations ago, it was discovered in her people that they possessed the ability to use the Force, although that term wasn't known to them. These people with special abilities were sent to a school for tutoring to enhance and use the Force. In the end, a council of elders was formed, and everybody was tested to see if they had the calling to use the Force or not. It was found that Jairdain indeed had the calling, despite being blind. The school still took her in. There was no light or dark side in her training, and all talents were used.
Jairdain was given lessons at the school from about the age of ten. She focused on mental skills and excels at Battle Meditation. She can use push, pull, and telekinesis pretty well for her class. She also uses the Force to see, a skill she has employed since childhood, and it has become as natural to her as breathing. Due to her being blind, Jairdain has excellent hearing.
When she was 15, her family and all the other families from her class fell ill. The elders believed this class caused the plague and banished all of them from the planet. She was given a ship, a vibrosword, a few provisions, and money. She left her planet, bidding farewell to everything she'd ever known because of the plague.
As she was on the outskirts of her solar system, she "saw" behind her a blinding light, though no sound reached her ears. She felt the death of the many people on her planet as it was destroyed. Jairdain doesn't know how it happened, but thought it had something to do with the other outcasts like herself.
She is now 18, and she's heard of the Jedi in her travels. Ultimately, she decides to search for them to further her training and complete what started eight years ago on Eraton.
During her adventures, Jairdain was captured and held prisoner, starved, and beaten to be used as a sacrifice. She only escaped this fate when Dominion forces rescued her. While recovering with them, she was given her Jedi Knight trials and became a Knight with them. Once she recovered, she returned to the Silver Jedi. When she returned, she was welcomed back and promised that if she were taken captive again, a rescue would be sent. She also fell in love with two Jedi.
She was involved in a skirmish with them and became acquainted with the Sith Lord Lykos after a grueling mental duel. This left them both scarred but bonded.
Shortly after this, the Jedi were on a diplomatic mission to Charros IV when the Sith infiltrated, attacked the area where the conference was being held, and captured Jairdain. Lord Krest had her taken to Bastion, where she was held prisoner. While in captivity, she was corrupted over months and turned into a Sith Knight.
When she changed, she picked a new name and changed it to Aurai Horaen.
After helping the Sith Empire with a few missions, she was accepted as an ally of the First Order when they invaded Osses. The victory for the First Order threw the Silver Jedi into confusion, but Jairdain was reunited with her love within that order, and she returned to Voss with the Jedi.
The Jedi she had been before her capture and fall would never return, but Jairdain found the path of the Sith not to be the correct one. Ending back on the path her people set her on, she is now a simple Knight following her code, one not of the Jedi or Sith.
A short time passed, and she went to Ilum again for another crystal for a new lightsaber. A companion went with her, and they were both tested together. However, in the end, they separated, and she returned to Voss to build a home for herself there. The house was completed shortly after that, and a new opportunity arose for her.
Now residing on Commenor, she is the advisor to the Crown Prince, Bradshaw Ku. She easily took to her position, and they held several meetings and gatherings where the Prince needed to demonstrate what she had been advising him on. A couple of years passed, and they decided to leave Commenor for a time to work one-on-one with another form of training.
While they were away, they developed feelings for each other. However, they parted ways, and soon after, she discovered she was pregnant with his child. The day they met, Jairdain sensed he was likely to fall into darkness, so she decided to keep Marcus a secret from him.
When she eventually returned to Commenor, she couldn't find Bradshaw, and he was nowhere to be found. Even now, she does not know where the Prince is. Within her heart, she feels he is alive, and she doesn't want to give up on that hope. His disappearance was just the start of a tough time for Jairdain.
A longtime relationship coming to an end was another starting point. The Sith attacks on the Alliance and Commenor itself were included in the mix. The death of a dear friend and a shard of Lykos wanting her to kill him all contributed to her emotional breakdown.
Turning to drink, Jairdain went on a downward spiral of destruction. However, a small part of her fought, and with the help of Solan, she came out of her depression. Staying with him while she finished her recovery, he took her to find her own Ashlan Wolf, and she named him Sage.
A little time passed, and she returned to Commenor again. There, she revealed to Lady Kay that she had a grandson and introduced them to each other. Still hoping to keep her son a secret, it was soon announced publicly, and that idea had to die. Though Marcus was now known, something good came of it.
With the fall of the Commenor System, they had only Commenor itself, which was divided into countries. Jairdain was granted regency of a country there until Marcus came of age. Now running the government of Juniper, Jairdain looks forward to the future. Eventually, her time came to return to the arms of the Silvers, and she was reunited with Yuroic.
The two of them worked through everything that had happened. In time, he forgave her, and they got married. Settling into a new life again, they lived happily together for many years. Out of this marriage came two daughters. Time passed, and he slowly lost his memories. Moving the family to Commenor, where they would be closer to the healing Temple there, she took care of her husband as he slowly degenerated.
War again came calling, and he went away without her knowing it. His life was taken that fateful day, and since then, Jairdain has been going through the grieving process.
Being one to follow the flow of the Force, she traveled to Coruscant and met a Jedi Knight there. After spending several days in his company and falling in love with him, they were also separated by war. Not wanting to lose someone close to her, she followed Jax around secretly until she felt she had no choice but to reveal herself.
Coming out of her hiding, they fought side by side for just a few moments before she was taken off the battlefield. Getting back to him as quickly as possible, she saved his life. After this, their relationship solidified, and they eventually got married. A few years after they were married, she gave birth to their daughter. Jayna Ismet-Thio.
