Objective 1
Squesha had hoped that her TIES would close the distance faster, but it was clear that they could not stand up to the more powerful rebel fighters. Irritating. She would have to talk to someone about upgraded engines.

Her thoughts were interrupted by alarms indicating new contacts.

"Admiral! 24 corvettes inbound! They appear to be targeting us!"

Squesha frowned. What kind of commander takes a fleet only of corvettes? She sighed. Thre was no respect for proper naval engagements any more.

"All ships regroup into tight formation. Maximum overlapping fields of fire. All fighters are recalled to defend the fleet."

The fighters disengaged, their pilots grateful to no longer be fighting an uphill battle. Still they were out of position, and the corvettes were closing fast. Squesha's fleet formed up, The Szayel in the center of the formation.

"Maximum power to weapons and targeting. Their ships are fast and will be very hard to hit. Focus on filling the area with firepower rather than aiming for specific ships. You are bound to hit some of them. Tractor beams, stand by until they get close then lock on. Launch missiles, frag configuration. Execute!"

Like a well oiled machine, her crews put her commands into action. guns and turrets swiveled to face the oncoming horde. Squesha did not know who this disrespectful punk was attacking her, but she would show them that you do not make fools out of the Imperial Confederation.

"Lieutenant, word for Sword. Ties are being taken out one by one."

Bolija took a moment to consider. Risking a direct engagement would put the hospital ships at risk. But the B-wings, they could ask as heavy attack ships.

"Tell Sword to push the assault. Aim for their frigates. Those will have the greatest effect."

"Copy! Dawnbreaker to Sword, keep up the assault! Aim for those frigates!"

She needed word back from Kessari soon. The evacuation was nearly done.

z5cR1Ol.png

"Sword to Dawnbreaker, we read you! Moving in on those frigates!"

The B-wings pushed forward, 16 in total, enough to give those frigates a scare.

With the Ties disengaging, Captain Helelia knew what they needed to do. Once again, 48 heavy ion cannons opened up, this time aimed at the Warhog and Dew Back. The defensive formation meant that they were moving to defend their carriers anyways, so the B-wings were just taking pot-shots at this point.

It was a regular womprat shoot.

"Sword Leader to all fighters, prep your ion torps We're gonna cripple these things first and foremost! Give Kessari something to sink!"

Each of the B-wings had been given a loadout designation. Helelia's was designed for Chomp rockets, but her fourth fighter of the squadron was her ion ship.

Suddenly, 15 ion torpedos from each squadron rushed towards the ships. 30 each. Helelia knew they couldn't all get shot down.

Then the Hammer Turbolasers opened up. The B-wings were happy to keep their distance for now. The Ties would chase them, and they'd simply get out of range. Back and forth, until they were all dead.

Rebel Yell.
z5cR1Ol.png

Jonyna watched as they closed in. The gambit had worked so far. Kessari's corvettes now ruled the attention of the fleet. Now, the Cathar needed to focus. Sitting the the dojo of the Tenacity, she channeled all her power. The Force was fickle about hurting living things, but it didn't much care about machines.

And so, she had no need to ask it to hold back.

Reaching out, she felt the planet around her. The people in the Dawnbreaker, the wounded below. The rebel fleet on the other side of the planet.

She needed to focus on one thing. The Jedi Master could destroy entire walkers if she wanted to. But today, she had one target.

With one swift movement, the Jedi raised her hands up...

Then slammed them down.

The Force reacted. The shield generators of the Carcharodon suddenly felt a crushing pressure that would be enough to scrap an AT-ST.

Then the ship opened fire. The Forward Thunderer battery, normally put on a Star Destroyer for it's massive size, aimed right at the exterior shield generator for good measure. Then they were followed up by the four hammer turbolasers, aimed right at the underside hanger bay.

The Tenacity had snuck it's way right under the flagship of the formation. Intend on crippling the carrier's shields, and it's hanger bay.

That was followed up by a barrage of ion torpedoes from the Tenacity's Tusk pods, intent on throwing the ship's system into disarray.

Give Kessari an opening.

Cripple this fleet.

Actions:

Dawnbreaker II holds position in defense of the evacuation. Orders the B-wings to push forward.
B-wings push the assault, firing long range ion cannons at Warhog and Dewback, before bombarding them with x30 ion torpedos.
Jonyna uses the Force to cripple the Carcharodon's shield generators by crushing them, then the Tenacity reveals itself, using it's SD sized Turbolasers to hopefully finish off the exposed shield generator. It then opens fire with it's four smaller batteries on the underside hanger back, before finally finishing with a barrage of point blank ion torpedos to the underside of the carrier.

"Sir, shields are down on the Blazing Dawn."

Zoro let out a sigh. This could only last so much longer. They weren't the Alliance anymore who could spare men and ships.

"Order full T formation. Put us between the enemy fleet and the Dawns. Focus all Ion Batteries on the enemy flagship. We need to kill that interdiction generator. Focus our spear throwers on the enemy fighters."

The Lifelight suddenly pulled forward, shifting it's position to put it as a cross between the enemy fleet, and the Dawns.

"Prep the Ziios." Zoro said suddenly.

"Sir?"

"You heard me. Get boarding crews ready. We're gonna get on board the Iron Sky. Prep for demolitions. Get the LionXs prepped for interception duties."

"Aye sir!"

<NOW HEAR THIS! MAN YOUR BATTLESTATIONS! ALL DEMOLITION CREWS PREP FOR BOARDING! FIGHTER PILOTS, TO YOUR X-WINGS.>

Zoro knew it was risky. But they needed to be bold. Even one Imperial Destroyer down would be a resounding victory.

Or they could steal it. That would be a feat.
z5cR1Ol.png

The B-wings of Claymore, however, had no intention of letting up on the Ravager. Swinging around, they opened up with their turbolasers, and a barrage of CHOMP Rockets, the three squadrons letting loose a total of 45 rockets. The CHOMPs were designed to be entirely computer-free, meaning typical missile deactivation wouldn't work.

Not that it could've stopped it anyways. The CHOMPS were a two stage rocket, first firing a Seigurium rod with enough momentum to bust an imperial bunker. Then it hit with enough explosives to blow up an AT-AT.

Then came the proton torpedos. With each B-wing in the squadron loaded up with a different configuration. Each could let loose with their firepower in sequence. 60 Torpedos would be enough to break through the Ravager's point defense lasers.

And finally, the concussion missiles. Another round, this time 75 to finish it off. The missiles aimed for sensors, armaments, anything that would leave the ship defenseless and blind.

This was the intent of the Rebel Call.

Cripple the Imperial Fleet.

Show they rebel tactics.

Hit them like they hadn't before.
z5cR1Ol.png

"Sir, we can't take much more! Our shields are about to drop!"

"One last salvo men. For the Rebellion."

The Winds of Change's crew knew what came next. They were sent on a mission that had become their grave.

The Ye Ole Pub had jumped to hyperspace just before the interdiction field went up.

"Sir. There is another option."

The Captain, a seasoned Alliance frigateer, knew what that option was.

"Set a course. Godspeed."

The Astrocat shifted. Aimed right at the rear of the Ravager.

Their guns fired one more time. The four heavy turbolasers aimed right at the rear of the Sularen's Revenge.

They couldn't jump out of the system, but the gravity wells wouldn't fully prevent them from activating their hyperdrives.

They just needed to aim at something worth while.

"Winds of Change to Zoro Igla. It's been an honor serving you."

With that, they activated their hyperdrive. Aiming right at the rear of the Ravager.

Actions:
The Lifelight shifts itself to put itself between the enemy fleet, and the Dawns. It's X-wings prep to intercept the enemy fighters, launching x6 squadrons. It also preps LAATs to board the Iron Sky.
The B-wings unload everything they have into the Ravager. Rockets, Torpedos, Missiles, Turbolasers.
The Winds of Change shifts itself one last time. It fires it's turbolasers at the enemy flagship, before hyperspace ramming the Ravager right up the ass.

Those fibrocords would've taken down any other unit in the galaxy. Any other, would've had themselves impaled by vibroblades, and cut down.

Not Phoenix.

The truth was, Phoenix were dropout jedi. Folks who couldn't cut it in the order, anyone who couldn't stick to the ideology.

But still powerful enough to use the Force. In this case, to redirect a fibrocord.

The soldiers, walker drivers included, made damn sure the enemy wasn't crawling all over them.

Ashley saw Boxer instead grab the fibrocord of one imp mid-air, and instead pull him into a haymaker. That gave her an idea when she was confronted with the same.

Doing much the same as her Platoon Sergeant, Ashley spun around, grabbing the fibrocord of the incoming arc trooper, and yanking it hard. Towards her the trooper flew, before she dropped her blaster just long enough for her to deploy the vibroblade hidden in her suits knuckles, to remove this guy's face.

All the while, her shoulder mounted Claw's automated system aimed right for Ronhar, keeping him in it's sights so Ashley wouldn't have to. It didn't fire, but it did keep him surpressed for now.

That of course didn't stop the U-wing. The walkers knew they were outmatched, and deployed their smoke launchers and tactical jammers, before backing up into the flames of the forest.

<Ashley, Paladin is pulling back. We're prepping for phase two.>

<DJ to Paladin, copy. Dragon, push in!>

The next phase came. Those snipers weren't alone. A heavy barrage of supressive fire from an auto-blaster lit up the enemy formation, before another round of grenade launcher fired impact HEs were fired into the formation.

Then the entire formation was flanked. The second squad of Phoenix had made itself known.

CAPTAIN RONHAR TANE, TK-3301
OBJECTIVE II: SOVEREIGN SILENCER
SARDIS, LAKONIAN SYSTEM

Whipcord Launchers have been tried and true weapons for centuries, being employed by bounty hunters, assassins and commando units for generations. This was for good reason, as the weapons are quite versatile, able to incapacitate enemies from a distance while giving their users an extra mobility option. Whipcord Launchers are lightweight, reliable, and most importantly, they simply work against pretty much anything that they are fired at.

So Ronhar was both surprised and rather disturbed to see the various Whipcord Launchers that his men fired at the enemy fall short and not tangle up their targets. It wasn't so much that his men had missed per say, rather, it seemed like the cord had been redirected away from their intended targets at the very last second, almost as if they had been influenced to miss.

Ronhar certainly knew better than to leave it up to bad fortune. No, something had caused those cords not to connect, and Ronhar was pretty sure their was only one possible explanation.

The Force!

Ronhar silently cursed as he continued to crawl backwards , still firing his BG-D 6 "Outlaw" and Prototype Sonic Pistol at his would be assailant. She had been temporarily distracted by the ARC Trooper's attack, though her blasted shoulder mounted weapon still continued to fire at Ronhar. Luckily, none of the blaster bolts coming his way made contact like her first attack did, and Ronhar was able to successfully crawl around the corner, away from the active fighting.

Still, something had to be done. Ronhar radio'd all the men under his command. It was time to deploy their secret weapon.

"This is Captain Ronhar Tane, TK-3301", Ronhar coughed out over comms. "On my mark, I need all units to activate their Disruptor Arrays. Ready...and...MARK!"

With that, Ronhar activated the HNDA-Mk I that was attached to his blast vest, as did the rest of his men under his command. Within seconds, the room was filled with low-frequency neurosonic and EM pulses, emanating from all conceivable directions. Ronhar did't exactly understand how the device worked, because he couldn't really feel any of its effects. Being a non-force user, the HNDA-Mk I could not work on Ronhar, though from what he had heard, the device was exceptionally uncomfortable to deal with for Force-Sensitives. However it worked, it should prove distracting enough to stop the enemy forces from trying to use their Force powers again. What was the enemies greatest strength would quickly become little more than a liability for them.

The men outside did the same thing, though they took things a step further. Some of the men had brought with them HNDA-Mk III/T's, which were larger and more advanced than the HNDA-Mk I's. They were much heavier and bulkier to carry than the HNDA-Mk I was but had a much greater range, along with the ability to jam enemy electronics and communications. Though the rebel didn't seem to be using anything that required jamming, the increased range of the HNDA-Mk III/T would hopefully allow the Imperial Remnant forces to affect them as well.

Speaking of the enemy forces, the walkers were now in full retreat, having popped smoke and disappeared into the raging inferno that had consumed just about the entirety of the forest. Despite the immense smoke and heat, Salvage Team Six was still continuing to receive sniper, autoblaster and mortar fire, which seemed to be coming from the direction of the burning forest. The men of Salvage Team Six couldn't really believe it: after all, there was a huge difference between remaining loyal to their mission and having suicidal tendencies. Anyone who stayed in that forest much longer would surely burn to death, regardless of how well their armor might protect against fire and flame. Far better to come out into the open and be blasted down than stay and suffer an agonizing, fiery death.

Regardless, it ultimately wouldn't matter, with the Peace Keeper flying overhead. Free from having to engage the enemy walkers, the gunship could now devote its full attention to the enemy units still harassing the men of Salvage Team Six. A proton torpedo barrage slammed into the general direction of the enemy forces as the Peace Keeper began firing its laser cannons and repeating ion blasters toward the entrenched infantry, though the smoke from the forest fire was starting to make it difficult for the Peace Keeper to continue providing fire support. Still, the volume of fire coming from the ship was sure to deal some serious damage.

With their aerial support working overtime, several commandos made a break for the building, their Disruptor Arrays firing on full blast and Whipcord Launchers flying toward the nearest enemy soldier. The more of them that got into the building, the harder it would be for the enemy to press any sort of number's advantage against the forces of the Imperial Remnant. Unfortunately for Ronhar, he wasn't quite yet in a position to participate, and definitely needed some sort of medical attention.

"I need a medic!", Ronhar hollered as a pair of Medic Troopers ran over to assist him. After stripping him of his armor, they quickly came to the conclusion that Ronhar was suffering from at least three broken ribs and some rather nasty blaster burns. A Bacta Bandage would suffice for the burns, and a Carapace Knitter would fix up those broken bones in minutes. The downside? It would be an extremely painful process to repair the damage to Ronhar's ribs.

"Just do it!", Ronhar said as he gritted his teeth in anticipation of what was to come.

The medic trooper injected the syringe into Ronhar's body as Ronhar screamed in pain. Yet his cries of anguish were seemingly drowned out by the sounds of blaster fire and fighting nearby to him...

Oh, these troopers thought highly of themselves, that was for sure! Tibera would just have to show these grunts just what she was made of! She was no run of the mill thug-for-hire, and today was a perfect time to prove it! Maybe, just maybe, she was being a bit too competitive about all of this. After all, Tibera didn't have to prove jack to these troopers. And yet, them acting like they were a cut above just drove her to fight harder.

Tibs just gave a salute and gritted her teeth, charging forward into the fray. She ran ahead of the formation, using cover to creep closer to the position where the rockets came from. All of a sudden the brick of a woman in the white armor became a priority target. Which, somewhat confusingly, was exactly her plan!

Blaster bolts came down on her like red hailstones, busting up the low wall she was hid behind. She pulled a canister off of bandolier, using her free hand to pull a thin tab on the top. This was no normal grenade...

"Bundle up, Cold front's coming in," She shouted, before tossing the white-and-blue canister into an open windows.

As the grenade flew through the air, it spewed out a thick mist of white, before erupting in a freezing burst of ice! Cryoban grenade, useful for all types of situations! Usually they were reserved for force users, but this time she decided it would make a good solution.

The cold blast confused the planetary defenders, who were expecting quite the explosion. Ontop of that, the white mist covered Tibera's approach, which the mercenary would use to allow a quick ingress into the building.

Two locals met her with confused looks and fumbling hands. No time to think, they were armed, they were valid targets. With a quick whine Tibera's disruptor went off, sending a ball of light blue energy screaming through the air. In a flash the first soldier was turned to dust, his friend barely had time to register it before he too was dusted.

The towering woman made her way the building, staircase by staircase. Grumbling as she made it to the second floor, one of the windows became riddled with blaster rounds, and not from enemies!

"Tch, don't think I won't charge extra for blue-on-blue..." Not that these troopers would be picking up the tab anyway. No that was Sularen's pocketbook paying the price.

Once the second floor, and the rocket position, were cleared. It was Tibera's turn with the explosives. There was another RPG team on a nearby roof, and that just so happened to be in range.

Only issue? The Man Portable Proton Torpedo Launcer was literally frozen to the gunner's hands! She grabbed on, and winced as she pulled. A snap, then a loud crack, no use in trying to thaw this one out.

"Apologies killer, think I need this more than you do now..."

Not thinking about the morbid nature of things, she took aim through the scope. With a resounding rush of air and a thunderous backblast, the rocket was out! It collided with the roof, caving it in and ceasing fire from the upper level of the second building.

"Jessen to Squad Three! Convoy should be mostly clear to motor," Tibs said, looking at the frozen statue beside her. "Rocket came in handy! thanks..."

Poor taste, but she found it funny.

MARCH ON-THE FIGHT CONTINUES

There was a strange silence, the ice and frost which had momentarily displaced the air seemed to have also displaced sound alltogether, only to be followed by the thunderous explosion caused by Tibera Jessen Tibera Jessen 's "commandeered" rocket launcher. roofs collapsed, walls crumbled, blasterfire soared through the air, but for some reason the silence seemed to linger. For the answer to her relayed message was simple: "Understood".

They had acknowledged her actions, they had not reprimanded her, nor did they scold her for her clearly unorthodox approach. All around her, the troopers moved, their weapons cold and precise, their footsteps silent despite the armor they wore. The clanking of the heavy walkers could be heard, their metallic and hydraulic components letting out hisses and creaks as they moved like lumbering castles.

Screams, roars and screeches now once more filled the air, noise and sound returning fully, the troopers seemed to nod, they seemed all to acknowledge the work Tibera had done, providing these hardened and seasoned veterans an opening to mop up the rest and to push forwards to the Quorum. Linking up with Dieter Kovasch Dieter Kovasch was going to be faster than expected, as it was beginning to look like the best these opponents had was expensive toys and high tech gadgets, but whatever was thrown at the Imperial forces was nothing more than militias, not even half-decently prepared or trained for what was happening.

"Jessen?!" The Sergeant Major of Squad Three reached for her shoulder as he neared her, making sure she wasn't hurt or anything, though expecting someone whose done the stuff she had just done to at the very least be a bit desoriented or shaken physically. "we've been given the go ahead, the enemy's resistance is faltering, messages have come from the east as well, the urban Enforcement cohort has broken through...it won't be long before we're linking up with Captain Kovachs."

Sularen watched as the enemy flagship lurched forward moving to cover the two Venators that were previously the subject of heavy concentrated fire from his Star Destroyers, with one of the Venators already losing their shield. An interesting move from his opponents but regardless all it would do was buying the Rebels more time against his fleet which till held the upper hand. The Venator that lost it's shielding might be safe for now, but that safety would come at the cost of the entire fleet now unleashing their full firepower at the enemy flagship in response.

"All Ships concentrate fire on the enemy flagship. The sooner we get rid of it the better." the Supreme Commander ordered. Before long a powerful barrage of heavy fire was unleashed at the Rebel Flagship as every capital ship at Sularen's disposal began to unleash their most powerful armaments upon the flagship in order to overwhelm it's shielding and reduce the vessel to a mere wreck, which would then allow Sularen to sweep through the rest of the Rebel Fleet.

"The Iron Sky is reporting enemy Gunships approaching it in a possible boarding action with X-Wings escorting them and enemy B-Wings are moving against the Ravager" one the communications officer chimed up. "Have the Claymores deploy their Starfighters to intercept the Gunships and their escorts." Sularen responded. "What's the status on those Frigates." he added. "One managed to jump before our interdiction field went up, the other is on the verge of losing their shields." one of the bridge officers responded. "Good. Redirect all TIEs that were previously attacking the Frigate to join up in the defense of the Ravager." Sularen ordered.

B-Wings, Y-Wings, X-Wings. I didn't matter how many alphabet starfighters the Rebels had at their disposal, Sularen had more TIEs in stock with each variant featuring equivalent or superior capabilities then their Rebel opponents. With both Quality and Quantity on his side, the Supreme Commander was most certainly going to be able to overcome the enemy in starfighter supremacy as he could afford drawn-out pilots with the sheer skill and vast numbers at his disposal.

However just as Sularen thought that victory was his, just as he thought the Rebels would break his opponent made one last desperate gamble. The last remaining Rebel frigate that had been caught within the gravity wells projected by Sularen's Flagship, suddenly shifted course towards the rear of the Ravager and began initiating a hyperspace jump. Before Sulren could react, the frigate entered lightspeed crashing into the rear of the Ravager and inflicting near-catastrophic damage, which along with the overwhelming B-Wing attacks left the Star Destroyer crippled and defenseless.

"That suicidal maniac. He's willing to sacrifice thousands of his own men just to take down a Star Destroyer?" Sularen cried out completely perplexed by the sudden maneuver. While he knew very well that he held the upper-hand and that his opponent would eventually resort to desperate measures to defeat him, he had never expected such a bold gamble. Still it wouldn't be enough to turn the tide against the Imperial Confederation as Sularen still had the firepower, the defensive capabilities and a large amount of starfighters at his disposal to secure victory while the Rebel Fleet was slowly getting it's strength whittled own, ship by ship.

"Have all of the remaining personnel onboard the Ravager abandon ship. That Star Destroyer is nothing more then a floating wreck now." the Supreme Commander instructed. Now was the time to end this battle once and for all and secure the Confederation's dominance over the Lakonia System. "Have all ships press their attack, i want that Rebel Fleet broken within the next hour."

  • The INV Sularen's Revenge fires it's Psuedosonic Beam Cannon and four Seismic Mass Driver Cannons at the Lifeline
  • The INV Requiem, both Claymore-Class Heavy Carriers and All Imperial XI-Class Star Destroyers (Except for the INV Ravager & INV Iron Sun) concentrate fire on the Lifeline
  • The INV Nightfall and INV Tyrant's Fist deploy their TIE Stürmers and TIE Jägers (4 Squadrons each) to intercept the incoming LAATs headed towards the Iron Sky and their escorting X-Wings
  • With both Rebel frigates out of action the previously deployed TIE Stürmers and TIE Jägers attacking them shift their focus on the B-Wings attacking the Ravager joining the 12 Squadrons of TIE Stürmers and TIE Jägers that were already defending the Ravager against the Y-Wings
  • The INV Ravager suffers near-catastrophic hull damage from the B-Wing attack and the Frigate ramming it at hyperspace, resulting in all remaining personnel beginning the process of evacuating the ship via the escape pods before it can be destroyed.

Dieter watched as the man in front of him deflected his bolts; this he expected, but what was unexpected was him reaching out towards the grenade. Why? Dieter was briefly confused, but watched as the grenade exploded somewhat harmlessly in the air. Knowing his adversary was a force user, he suspected it was some sort of force bubble or shield.

He watched as he went into a defensive stance. Dieter knew he had to get through this Jedi, "any resistance to be eliminated with extreme prejudice." He needed to get to his objective. He tucked his rifle into his shoulder, "That was interesting trick. But how much longer will you hold?"

With that, he fired a spread of suppressive bolts at the Jedi, then flicked the switch and fired another grenade at the wall to his adversary's left. He quickly followed it up with another couple of bolts, moving closer to the Jedi. Once again, he flicked the switch and sent out another grenade towards his feet. Dieter's standard doctrine, oppressive firepower, he'd see if it would work.

xTZHP11.png

The first grenade had been dealt with through improvization.

The next few were just practiced hands. His lightsaber went from deflecting the supressive bolts, to reflecting them. All the while, he went from trying to bubble the grenades, to grabbing them right as they left the barrel. Holding them mid-air in front of Dieter, and letting them explode. Then raising his shield to let the concussive wave from each wash over it.

"You're not making it past me, buddy. If you're not gonna stop. I'm gonna have to stop you."

Suddenly, his shield dropped once more, and with a quick draw that some might call like lightning, he grabbed his ion pistol and fired a directed ion bolt right at the grenade launcher, before rushing forward. He was done playing defense. Time to hit back.

From his belt, a pool of water erupted from a flask, creating just enough of a wave for him to ride up it in a rising motion, his saber held in a defensive stance as he did, before finally shifting his hold and bringing the blade down right on Dieter's rifle and arms.

Tibera took a moment to catch her breath, no time to bask in the embers. Too much left to do. She picked up her blaster and popped her neck a few times, acknowledging the words of the Sergeant Major. These guys were focused, determined to get the job done.

"Yeah, let's get moving. Got a bad feeling that this job isn't getting done with me just standing around."

There was sounds of battle in the distance, people shouting, a full display of blaster fire. Cripes, this was going to get worse before it gets better. Long as there wasn't some horde of sithspawn waiting around the corner, she at least felt confident she could handle things. Rounding a corner The Mercenary saw a battle going on between Dieter and Anthony, talk about a wild battle!

It became clear Anthony was not a standard soldier. Great, rebels with Jedi backup. She'd fought Jedi before, they were tough bastards. She could shoot him now, but the disruptor was likely to trip his force senses. Getting her disruptor knocked back at her was a problem she didn't need!

Using a thumb, Tibera flicked a selector on her hand cannon, switching it to fire specialized white phosphorus rounds. They were solid ten millimeter slugs coated with the incendiary substance. Whatever they didn't penetrate, they would burn the chit out of! She knew the element of surprise was the most key portion of fighting Jedi. Even mandos weren't crazy enough to take a Jedi on in a prolonged fight, she'd have to make this one count.

Three quick pulls of the trigger, followed by three individual bangs. All aimed center mass behind the Jedi. Whoever this guy was, she was looking to take him down quick.

Even if she failed to kill the Jedi, it would free other forces up to finish the mission. This male model looking saber-jockey was a problem, and Tibera was here to remove problems. Shame about that, this guy seemed like he was actually worth something.

Hope was something the galaxy needed, even someone as self-centered as her knew that. Without the Jedi, there wouldn't be much of a galaxy to fight over. Things like that were bad for business, and worse for people overall. Maybe it was better to leave the guy to his work? Bah, can't think like that now...

Objective 1
Squesha saw the incoming ion fire targeting her frigates. She could only watch as their shields were depleted, with the Warhog losing its shields all together.

"Frigates target their weapons! Get out of there before-"

A horrible crashing noise interuppted her and the whole ship rocked. Squesha fell to the floor, pulling herself up slowly. The ship continued to be rocked.

"Report!"

A frantic call came from her engineering section.

"I don't understand it! The shield generators just got crushed, and then just as we were stabilizing it we were bombarded by the enemy!. Heavy casualties and the shield generator is offline!"

"Confirmed!" called out a bridge officer. "No shield power and reading enemy vessel below us."

Squesha scowled. Force users again. Squesha had hoped her upgrades to her ships following Brosi would have mitigated force attacks but clearly they still needed some fine tuning. She would be sure to talk to Ronhar Tane Ronhar Tane about more potent defences.

"Move us closer to Sularens fleet. Use their defences to cover us. Launch all remaining fighters and divert power from shields to weapons. make them bleed for their attack. Roll us over 180 degrees for maximum gun coverage."

"And frigates fall back to The Announcer. Fighters, take evasive maneuvers, but close on those B wings. Do not let them reach us. Nexu keep those Corvettes off our backs."

She turned to her first officer and said quitely, "Prepare my shuttle."
