The Liberation of Dac [Republic vs. Sith Empire]

Force melded with @Kiskla Grayson
New Coral City
Control Centre

The paladin Jedi just stood silently watching the Sith intently. His senses remained heightened to the Force. He listened to Kiskla's voice echoing through his own mind as she spoke to the cornered Sith. At this point he felt nothing from the Sith's thoughts, though there was a trail of doubt and a slight trickle of fear in him. The paragon would smite the evil out of him if he even attempted to retaliate.

Saran woke to footsteps, a solider coming in and finding the still-wounded Jedi. Saran forced herself awake as the man leveled his blaster. He fired, and she held out her hand. It burned, but she was alive. She would need to talk to the hall of healers after this. The man stood over, but now for long. She lifted herself up in the force, bringing her knee into the man's groin. Grabbing his blaster with the force and hurling it across the room, she activated her saber and held it to his throat. "Which way to the control room?"
"Why should I tell you?"
"You'll die."
"Left down the passage until you get to the restance. You can't miss it."

No emotion? At all? So she really didn't care. Explaining would be pointless, he had a job to get done: Eliminate her. He activated his own blood red blade, prepared to fight her.

"Yes, much has! All while you were conquering ossus and killing innocents." He replied with vigor. "You abandoned me! And now you pay." He raised his blade and charged.

Preparing to leave the ship

Rianna had her personal craft ready for departure the invasion was in full swing and it was time to bring her the ship to use as a triage unit landing and not getting shot down were going to be tricky she only hoped her piloting skills were up to par for the task. The two teams of responders were with her, the other two had been dispatched with shuttles on specific trajectory.

Headed into Coral City

The ship was coming under some resistance, Rianna banked trying to evade. She just had to find a way to mark her ship as medical. Not that Sith or any other enemy would care, but just maybe just once she could land without the worry. Just as she thought about the things she could do to make this safer, two republic fighters dropped in and escorted her to a landing pad, from there she was on her own, and her teams would be at the mercy of enemy forces.

On the landing pad

"Ok, you have your orders, and bring back as many as you can, we'll get them off here one way or another unless we can secure a place to set up a make shift hospital near here" Her dark eyes scanned each of their faces, knowing once again some would not be coming back. "Now from what we know all citizens have been removed and put in camps, so" She couldn't emphasize this enough, "you might run into small groups of resistance, but very small. So..do what you can, and may the force be with you"

Rianna watched them run from their place with her out into the city, Rianna stood silent for a moment. "Ok let's find a place to set up even if its right here" Hell why not right here, landing paid, looked semi secure they could see. The small detachment of republic troops that tried to cover the healers could setup a perimeter. "Let's set up here, lets' not take any changes, any surgeries we'll take back to the ship"

Heading toward The Council
Rianna learned where most of the Council was and made the decision to work her way towards them, it was dangerous for her to do so. The healer was not known for being an offensive fighter,

His arm swung back with a blade ignited to block her second attack. His reaction time was quick, then as she held him there for a second, he brought his other hand around and proceeded to launch force lightning towards. She quickly disengaged from their hold, and she spun, making use of her quick reflexes. She twirled out of the way of the multiple forked attack, barely dodging it due to its close proximity. It hit the blast down that he was guarding. While she twirled around she stayed disengaged for a moment. She performed a Makashi Salute. Then her head turned to see that one of the Hutts slaves had moved to protect him. She quickly turned her head back to her opponent.

It didn't make sense that slaves would move to defend their master when freedom stood right in their faces. It was quite a sight to see. "Just surrender, your a pawn to the Emperor, can't you see that?" She said softly. She gave him more than enough time to respond. Afterwards she moved in for another attack. Speeding up her movements she brought her blade up and proceeded to slash in a horizontal arc from left to right, but her move was only a feint. She then twisted her wrist, maneuvering her lightsaber hilt so that she was knowing lunging forward. She jabbed her blade towards the midsection of the Hutt; at least she thought that was the mid section.

Aurelic Vos Talen

Jedi Newcomer and Shapeshifting Marsupial
The Sith somehow cackled even though it was nothing but a moving ball of fluid around Rasu. It tried to strangle her upper torso like some sort of Pyton, slowly forming into a solid mass around her. This was certainly an odd form of Shapeshifter and was a fair different breed than a Shi'ido or Clawdite. It was more feral, more ruthless, and far more flexible in its transformations. None of that would save it from a heavy force Repulse however. It screeched loudly as it was sent flying, the pieces quickly gathering together into its ordinal form, the lightsaber he once carried being hustled to him in a large pile of goo.

Thought right as it turned into its natural form a grenade went flying through the barrier aided by Rasu. Talen wasted no time and quickly turned into sludge again, the blast went off and dazed the creature heavily. Though before the light from the blast faded the ball of goo quickly slide into one of the nearby vents on the flooring. He could be anywhere now, gain access to any part of the station. Now he just had to recover and wait... Then once allies arrived, he would strike again, or retreat if an opportune moment never occurred.

Saki

Came in like a wrecking maul
@[member="Aerrah Katamirth"] @[member="Rianna Organa"]

That seemed really easy and for a moment Saki contemplated disarming the sith but thought better of it while she backed away. The yellow blade being the length while her own hand was being held close to her body. The jedi knight kicked with the force not at Aerrah well kind of at the sabers she had to send them away into the fights while speaking. "Alright I'll accept your surrender but try anything and I'll club you with my fist." Saki limped a little over to the side and motioned for her to move. "This is Saki I have a prisoner and need a medical unit."

Who was he? That was a good question, one he'd pondered for at bare minimum a month at this point. He surely wasn't Marcus Faust, no that poor boy was dead, replaced by something...else. Again silence remained as he pressed a button on his wrist gauntlet. He could've just signaled for reinforcements, an orbital strike, or anything, but he simply ordered his vessel to retreat, they would not suffer his fate, they deserved so much better.

Of course he remained still, he wouldn't be going on the offense this time, no that wouldn't go well. He'd have to use what he knew or defensive forms and combine it with his other, counter his way out or something. Anything would work, anything, but he wasn't sure that even an army could save him now. But he would not bow.

When the commotion with the emperor being captured had settled down, Syn had seen and felt Iella going off and now he moved. The fighting was going some direction it seemed the majority of the jedi fighters were becoming a numbers game and that was in their favor. So the councilor moved letting the taozin bracelet obscure and hide his force presence while he followed that invisible cord towards Iella and could hear the boy on the edge of his hearing. In the heavy and armored armorweave robes witting over the gungnir armor with the sigils the semi scrawny seventeen years old looking master moved to be near Iella and had both of his blades out as the snap hiss came with a pale and dark purple flurry. He had a grin on his face at the sight of it all though more so because he was within perfect distance to strike with more techniques then needed to subdue. "I'd recommend surrender, the other sith are falling boy."

The blademaster did not fall for the Togruta's feint; her thrust found itself harmlessly redirected by the forward blade of the lightstaff in his right hand. A broad sweep angled her blade to the side as he lunged forward with a curling motion of the immense muscle that propelled him, faster than most humanoids could muster. Tired of her dancing -- this was, he noted, one of the first times he had not enjoyed a young woman dancing -- he aimed to crush her against the lightning-scarred bulkhead while guiding her weapon away.

As he moved to body-slam her with the force of a charging rancor, his left arm rose. Nobody, but nobody, fracked with his girls. A roiling Sith incantation left his lips, the one and only Sith spell this particular Dark Lord possessed. The spell that had let him defeat the legendary Sarge, among others. A dozen half-corporeal black tentacles lashed up from the deck, coiling and striking as fast as a vaapad beast, aimed at both Vulpesen and the Quarren (but avoiding the dancing girls). The tentacles sought to strike and bind, conferring paralyzing pain, burns, even death. The spell half-exhausted him, powerful as it was -- he was not a great Master, not of Sith sorcery anyway.

Lavania had made it down and now moved as she went to join the jedi in their fight, her staff moved as she came towards the area and sensed Kiskla. Then she sensed the sith while her hand went to the lightwhip on her whip and it uncoiled with her chanting a spell. Dathomiri magics mirroring the force while she surged forward as a blinding speed and was preparing another in her mind. With the sigil she had gotten for helping out the force flowed easier for her but it wasn't perfect instead she was still relying on her magics and fidning the sith to scream like a Ssurian into his face shoudl be more the enough to help them.

Command Center

Blessed was a word some threw around to openly. Lives had been lost today but for the first time in months A'donari understood why those who had sacrificed so much had been willing to do so. The commotion was dying down now. The soldiers that had arrived on the ship sanctioned to escort the Prime Evil of the Sith from the planet had come and gone. Standing in the center of the room was the huge Nautolan connecting his thumbs and index fingers into a box. His eyes were lost somewhere within. Masters surrounding the near area were preoccupied not interested enough or able for that matter to spare a passing glance his way.

One of the soldiers from his unit came running into the huge room through the pillar filled hallway just in time to catch A'donari in his private moment. The soldier gave him a hard time before asking him what was up. "I'm picturing where we'll be at when everyone forgets that we were even apart of the strike force that took down Kaine Zambrano."

The soldier got a kick out of the comment. He made a quick joke about being alive and willing to gamble that fact on cashing in that drink he owed the hot master they had caught a ride with. A'donari made a suggestive hand signal sending them both into laughter before setting off to find their unit and figure out where they were needed.

Vulpesen's attention snapped to the tendrils as his danger sense took hold. "Son of a feth!" Leaping up, Vulpesen would slash through one of the tendrils to see if it broke, avoiding most of the tendrils by mere inches while the others cut into his robe and left a minor gash in his leg. "This is why no one likes you?" Executing a quick somersault, Vulpesen would bring his saber in for a powerful slash, aimed to cut through the Hutt's defenses and his body. His mind was growing clearer and clearer and he was now able to focus on multiple things as his mind was beginning to re-survey the battlefield. @[member="Rasho the Hutt"]

Location: BLAST DOORS
OBJECTIVE: DEFEND HUTTYHUBS

Zoe neither smiled, nor chuckled, no changed her expression in any way from the Togruta’s words. She knew exactly what she was, and if she ever forgot a simple look downwards at the brass slave’s outfit would remind her. Was she a pawn of the Emperor? She guessed not, just a slave to a Hutt. She doubted the Hutt’s allegiances were ultimately towards the Sith Emperor, but she supposed they could have been. In any case, it mattered little who the hutt served. She’d escape from him soon enough, in one way or another, but joining forces with his opponents during a fight, while he was likely the most alert and armed he’d ever see her, was not the way to do it. Her intuition told her the Hutt would win out, and her intuition also told her if she attacked the hutt he’d kill her. The Jedi might have had lightsabers and robes or even armor, but Zoe had none of those things.

The quarren spoke, and before she finished her sentence she could tell the Quarren was going to attack. Lunging forward she closed the distance between them with a jab, a jab she had time to see coming due to her closing the distance. She stepped off to the side, dodging the jab to her hands(both armed with knives), then immediately took a step backwards. She didn’t know that the Quarren was going to slash at her legs, or anywhere in particular, but she did know that if she were holding a weightless laser sword of doom that she'd have added a second slice in a heartbeat.

Then, miraculously, tendrils formed of shadows came flying out of the ground, about a half dozen finding trying to attack the quarren and another half dozen trying to attack the dog breeder who was dealing with the fairy slave and the the two sith. This poodoo right here was why she chose to side with hutt, and the not the Jedi, at least for now. While the tentacles looked very dangerous, and ferociously attacked the Quarren they didn't seem to wish to hurt Zoe, or the wistie slave girl either. Pressing this to her advantage Zoe did what head-tailed girls usually did for hutts, she danced. Staying light on feet she moves from one side to another, protected by the assault of dark-side tentacles, which weaved their attacks around her, changing directions and points of attack as they went. Keeping just out of a lightsaber's reach she continued her dance, probing her enemy for a weakness. The ball was in @[member="Eenes Kokad"]'s court, would she try to take down one or many of the tentacles, or would she attack at Zoe, or would she flee?

Hyperspace.
Rushing to the aid of The Emperor was a man, again and again defeated by The Republic. Mind you there were circumstances to those defeats. With Daalang being an exception. Yet determined he was that today... he would leave a scar that would be remembered for generations. Kaine gave specific instructions, that if they could not hold Mon Calamari, Rayl was to destroy the shipyards. All just to deny the use of them for The Republic, spite for Kaine. In a way... revenge for Rayl. Days before the war he was denied their use by Darth Vazela for his project, but he found a new yard to use. A nice kick in that old Sith's robes he felt. A wicked grin crossed his face.

Battle reports were constantly fed through Holo-transmission to him. He had the enemy ship count and easily doubled their numbers with the added defense sector ships he acquired at Gand and Toong'l. Rayl wasn't planning on engaging their fleet though, passed what was necessary of course. News also came the Emperor had been captured and likely they were to lose. The plan was to use an old Star Destroyer as a fire ship who's hyperdrive they'd 'modified', to collide with the ring and shatter it. And it seemed the plan was a go. What happened after that wasn't his problem. Unless the ring didn't break like it should, then all the ships he brought would be put to use.

Entering the Dac System!!!.

The fleet from Saki slipped back in to real space. Position roughly a hundred and seventy degrees opposite from their main cluster. Countless ships would be appearing on The Republics scopes. They'd be panicking. "Tell the droids to enter the trajectory of the fire ship and align". Rayl would speak to the rest of the fleet on his own. "Form up in the arrangement and begin softening the target. Let nothing get at that ship. Come hell or high water we'll see that yard destroyed". Two orders down, two to go. "Patch me to the dock internal comm systems". These plans were unknown to even the most trusted among Kaine's ranks, so far as he knew. So any Sith aboard who valued their lives would have a small grace period to get to an escape pod or a ship. "In forty minutes this yard is going to be scrap metal. Evacuate, I repeat evacuate. Emperor's orders"! Just as planned.

The Sith heard the fact that the Shipyard was about to go in flames. It hissed to itself and quickly snaked its way through the vents to the escape pods. Once he reached them, he grinned and went to the control console. The creature shapeshifted into any Mon Cal mechanic and then went to work. He used his datapad to slice the system and active the launch procedures. After that was accomplished, the Sith launched every escape pod on this wing besides one. His own.

With the chances of escape lowered drastically for everyone. He climbed into his own escape pod and jettisoned. Hopefully that'd get a few Jedi killed and maybe a few rival Sith. Then again there were still more wings more escape pods.

Iella raised her hand and set a wall of the force in the form of a powerful push, enough to send Aronis flying off balance backwards. She still did not ignite her blade, but walked toward him. She had concealed and removed her emotions in order to clear her mind and access the situation, to find a way to best help Aronis. "I see the Sith have taught you well already, to blame others for your own deeds. I did not abandon you, you abandoned you and all that you told me, all the things your spoke to me about and how you wanted to become the best Jedi you could be.", she opened up her mind to him and through it she sent him her emotions of regret and sorry, of course she cared about him, he was her Padawan and because of that has had formed a bond with him.

"Where is your new Master now Aronis? .. is he or she here now? or has your new Master decided to run and escape leaving you without one thought or any care for your safety", she stopped and waited for his next move. "You speak of killing innocents .. and yet what have you done. What is it that the Sith do, Aronis, you know the answer to that well enough. They do more to innocents then kill it, that would be merciful", she said pushing more of her feelings and of the lightside of the force toward him.

Eenes cried out mid-slash as the black tentacles sprung from the ground and immediately began lashing at her. One wrapped around each leg, the others flailing at her seemingly from all sides. A wooziness began to cloud her mind. Poison. She slashed at the tentacles on her legs, two short cuts to sever them from the ground. They achieved their purpose, but the tendrils remained firmly attached to her legs. She tore them off telekinetically, then stepped back and slashed at the ones tearing her robe to pieces. When they fell but continued thrashing on the floor, she retreated as far as she could. If she was lucky, she would have a few seconds to heal, or at least close a few of the worse wounds, before they wriggled close enough to attack again.
The speaker clicked and informed them the yard would shortly be destroyed. What are they thinking? Isn't this planet's value in its shipyards? She warily watched the Sith. If this was a ploy to get the Jedi to retreat, it wouldn't work if they stayed.
