The Inquisition of Sekalus (part 1 of 3)

Sanya Val Lerium

Neutral, Queen of Her people, Neko
She was on her ship this time camellia by her side and croa filled the back. They looked as they where preparing for an attack but where. She looked out the window to see an unfamiliar world. Even the coordinates where strange, it was a unknown regions of space. But why here?
There world was dark, night time perhaps. although the all the lights in the sky seemed to give a rough view of the terrain around her. The landscape was just grass but off in the distance was a large city, something that looked like it was from coruscant. Other ships had landed and croa flooding out of them all rushing towards the city. They where all armed and in full gear like the ones from her Gunship. 'Are we attacking?' She thought to herself trying to make sense of it all.
[member="Camellia Swift"] Ξ [member="Darth Praelior"] Ξ @the sisterhood
It had been a few weeks now since she had this vision, and yet it had plagued her mind since. Maybe it was something to do with her becoming croa and set a chain of events that was now in action. Since praelior had gave Sanya and camellia the all clear to find the cause. Luckily in the vision she had seen the rough coordinates of the location it was a matter of finding it. Although the force of such a place so close to her now set off alarms and a direction drawing them in.
Sanya turned to look at her love sat next to her with a smile, if anything so far she'd enjoyed the time alone. "One more jump and I think we will be there." She said to cam, her smile only got bigger when she gazed into her eyes more. "Besides we should have some time for our selfs before the others show up, you know for us to have a little fun." Sanya had only been wearing underwear in the ship the past few days, it was comfortable for her, especially switching between bed and the cockpit alot in their journey, although not much sleeping was done. in a matter of hours they had reached the orbit of the world and had waited outside the storm concealing the surface below. Sanya activated the location ping, the signal for praelior and others to follow.

Objectives -
Secure the planet and expand on the nexus (link to the sub)

The black healers had come to this thing. She wasn't exactly certain what had brougth them out here but as Seras sat there in her office on the ship she was looking over what they had and were doing. The fleet of the sisterhood had come to this sector of space and all was quiet. That pleased her as Seras slowly felt something within the force in the distance. Her force prowess might not be the greatest but it was there and she slowly stood up crossing her arms within the room before she was looking over a display. "How interesting."

Damorian wasn't going to be kept out of this, with a look as she stood on the bridge of the Carrack class, Isis who had been working on things and more importantly who had been working to get the Sisterhood a ship or two had some designs they were constructing. She had brought a couple of haulers along with parts to construct and repair as they moved into places. Her datapad was chirping while she spoke to the now nearly all Liran crew that was there with a grin on her face. "Deploy two mantises and patrol, aid the sisterhood and protect their ships. We will not lose this contract with them and we'll construct something great." The order was in and the ships were working to assemble one of the lrger things they could create.

The cold and unforgiving feeling of immortal space was something that the Sith from a swamp world could could not shake off. Aboard her 'borrowed' warship. the Meshuga, Darth Venefica stared into the blackness of infinite space. The time had come, in her mind, to separate herself from the the traditional ideals of the Sith Order she fought and nearly died for was drawing to an end. Blood spilled and scars upon her tiny frame was a testament where her loyalties once laid.
Fate, the future, and even life itself was a changing occurrence. But one thing remained from the big three, Darth Venefica would see her dreams blossom and take root in the garden of the galaxy. Her ideal vision, or concept, of a group that lived together, fought together, learned together, and at some pointe died together was something more than just a title of Sith, Dark Jedi, or advent believer of the Darkside. It was a family. A Sisterhood. A Brotherhood. A haven that each understood the weakest chink in the armour could be them; and to avoid being that weak link strived to be something better, something stronger; something unbreakable.
This family, this Black Rose, was made up of all walks of life. Vahla, Mon Calamaries, Togrutas, Humans, Lirans, Miralukas, Zabracks, Chiss, and every species that inhabited the known galaxy not only represented the Sisterhood and Brotherhood of this united Covenant; but defined what they all believed in. Freedom. Unity.
It was once said, from the mouth of long dead wise man, that the family that stood together endured together. Looking at the make-up of this lot, truer words have never been spoken.

Caira Jevnaker, or CJ she liked to be called, had failed at almost everything she did. She, in good conscience, could not blame anyone for her shortcomings but her self. Ample opportunities where available to the loner, but she was either to afraid or to unsure to reach out and combine her hand to anything that would or could set her upon her destiny. Destiny, what's that? She tried, she really tried but fate, if you believed in it, always seemed to go against the grain. Fate, I don't believe in it.

How many Dark Jedi had a chance at redemption? I named my lightsaber Redemption! Not many. How many Dark Jedi could say that my former Jedi Master is, or was, is the Grandmaster of the Jedi Order? Can you forgive me Master [member="Corvus Raaf"]? None she was aware of. A life of indecision was not a life she ever envisioned for herself, and yet, her mind was as cloudier than ever. Why? Why? Why?

CJ, it seemed, had found some solace in a Sisterhood. Unlike those Jedi that shunned her because of her heritage, something she was born with and blessed on the day of her birth by the Goddess Vahl, she had found a home. Believe in me and I shall give you hope. For poor 'ol CJ, the Covenant of the Black Rose was more than a group to associate with, it was her calling. Her chance to finally define herself. To make some difference in the galaxy.

CJ knew and understood both the ideas and darker traits of the Covenant, but she didn't care. They accepted her when the Jedi did not. They welcomed her when the Jedi could not be bothered to bid her farewell. She had a raging ping of guilt for not telling her former Master goodbye, but deep down she hoped that Master [member="Corvus Raaf"] understood.

Darth Timoris

To err is human, to forgive divine. And I'm no god
She had one Apprentice potentially agreed – she was a feisty one and had great potential. But Melori knew she needed another – someone to challenge the first. There was nothing like a little healthy competition to ensure the best of both Acolytes.

Not that her intentions were barbaric. A worthy Apprentice would receive significant training. But if they were unworthy it was better to cull them quickly. Better for all concerned.

And her interest had been piqued by her own Master who had hinted…no teased…that a newcomer was going to attend the latest exploration. Not that by itself it was enticing – until she happened to mention that the young woman was a former Jedi. A former Republic Jedi no less.

And the most beautiful part? Her former Master. Melori had to excuse herself when she heard the news – for fear she’d wet herself. How delicious was that? To train to Knighthood one of her sister’s former Padawans? Did life get any better? Unless the answer was chocolate, probably not.

So she sought out this CJ – but chose not to rush. She had all the time in the world when it came to revenge. The fact that the Dark Jedi was accomplished was simply the sprinkles on the cherry on the icing on the cake.

The cold typical for all ships had taken residence within Your Deathbed as well. The Phasma-class Infiltrator silently cut through the emptiness of space that stood between the elegant vessel and its destination, yet the Mon Calamari Sith Lord known as Darth Veles felt neither cold nor alone. Love burned within him, every single fiery drop of it devoted to a very special woman from Shili who has touched his heart. Gentle and treacherous, just and ruthless. Flame and the blush of the dawn, the devil and the lamb, sugar and salt. [member="Darth Zarrah"]. The powerful Togruta Sith Lady who had pointed her old apprentice in a new direction after his decision to abandon and turn on the One Sith.

It would be a lie to say Avreet’s allegiance now lied with the Covenant of the Black Rose after he had distanced himself from the One Sith and their flawed ways. In fact, the Mon Cal Sith’s undying loyalty remained the same as it’s always been - being Darth Zarrah’s Hand, his duty was to his former teacher, first and foremost. Wherever she went, the amphibious Sith Lord followed, basking in her wisdom still despite getting much closer to the same perfection she had already achieved. This closely tied with his loyalty to the Sith as a whole, their true ways.

If this Covenant succumbed to the same poison responsible for transforming the One Sith into a mindless herd of Dark Jedi, Darth Veles would not hesitate to act, by assassinating the leaders and putting someone more reasonable to their place. He would not repeat the same mistake he had done with the One Sith – failing to stop the spread of bloodlust – and if a possibility to take over the Covenant presented itself, his wrist blade would bring a kiss of death to all Dark Jedi throats. All those lusting for blood would drown in their own.

Something in the back of his mind assured the Mon Cal of Sith victory. It had to happen this time, after all these years filled with wars and battles! The Crimson Messiah’s arrival was a sign of things to come – the two true Sith stood together once again, reunited, ready to make the Sith dream come true. Nothing would stand in their way, nothing could defeat them. Avreet wasn’t going to let anything stand in their way. If necessary, he would follow his lady to the Void itself.

Her voice came out like a screech, Sierra could feel the energy within the ship and she was cramped. These human's while useful were also prone to sweating and stinking in their armor. The troopers were all looking the same and the Vanr was walking down the hallway with her tail swishing. She had gotten one of the hold out hand cannons for her protection and use with a dauntless blade but right now wondered what they might be finding down there. All her attention going to the view port when she crossed her arms with a small smirk over her face feeling it in her blood, the darkside was present here and almost calling to her and her people... what little might remain of them.

Azlyn didn't know much about the sisterhood but her and her master had explored this region of space, this was the realm of the Crusade and their gods while she was standing there with her saber on her hip. Long hair tinted red before she was letting her eyes flick over the consoles and she spoke working to make sure her master knew where she was. Crystals experience here in this area would and could be just as invaluable to [member="Darth Venefica"] if the Covenant would be out here or making something here. There was bound to be one or two of the crusades temples they could convert and use for their own ends.

"WEEEE SO MUCH FUN." The sight of the one prisoner in the brig while she was under her mothers watchful gaze brought her attention to the revving of the chainsword before it was biting into the man with a mist appearing before she was backing away and the white dress was colored just a little. like her skin as she looked down at the man screaming. "Now now come on let me give you a hand." Bundori was holding his arm and offering it as the man was bleeding out and the smile remained on her face while dancing and skipping around. She had her mother and her potential master here as well as the others, so many of this sisterhood that she had to admit... it was going to be so much fun to see while her impossibly blue eyes continued to watch the man with her hand coming up and wiping some blood off his face. "See now you're all pretty again."

The gleaming of the Yasha armor was there while she was standing at the ready, Sawa was awaiting and hoping her dear apprentice would join here here and now as the armor she had pulsed with the darkside. They were more then ready to create something powerful and create something grand but seeing nd feeling the others around her had the energy vampire excited. For the first time in a long time she was all tingly just watching for the sight of it with Demeter and their troopers around her. Her wearing more a sleek silvery armor then the standard white while she crossed her arms. "Lord Venefica, quite an expedition I would say."

The Covenant of the Black Rose. Mostly made of females, though the Chagrian spotted a male or two among the faces of aliens.

Kerstas herself was here because of her Master. The Darth had invited her young Apprentice along, though for what purpose she had not said. To learn, and observe, most likely -- but to learn what? To observe what? A sense of excitement filled the air, and the young girl couldn't help but again wonder, for what? What were they doing here?

But all of these questions, these thoughts, she kept to herself. It would not do for her to pester the members of the Sisterhood; rather, she had a feeling that for the time being, watching and waiting would get her the answers she sought.

Thus, silent as a mouse, Kerstas closed the gap that had grown between her Master and the Chagrian, coming to her side just as the vampire greeted Darth Veneficia. The girl gave a murmured greeting to Darth Shojo, dipping her head towards the other acknowledged Sith before falling still.

Watch and wait, learn and observe.

An expedition into the unknowns of space, the last time this happened Remy's world had been discovered and the sith brought the ancient purebloods back into the fold. Now they were here and fig ting while she had her tonfa's at the ready for something dangerous. The darkside was calling to her, calling to every fiber of her being and she was going to answer it as the pureblood sat down and the stretchy armorweave clothing was a better fit for going out into the galaxy. "We are all ready Lords." The smirk was on her face though leaning back in the seat as she could see the troopers and priestesses who were moving around. They were near the famed lost tribe some of her people that had found their way across the galaxy.

Her pets were stirring and active now, Balaya had a grin on her face while she was sitting there in the meditation chamber that was being created by her and Sanya. With the jedi having her skills she was also working on some of the things still within it as shereclined in the chair. Meditative thoughts going out into the fleet of ships and the darkside to improve and empower them while she was letting the sithspawn shambling around outside the chamber in the bowels of the ship. "You have outdone yourself pet, we might have to stop over by the zoo and maybe get one of my pets." No matter though she was sending something deep into space and there was a stirring from the one transport. No one had ever seen it and only Elara and OMega were on that ship who knew what was in the hold.

Darth Venefica stood patiently quiet while her droid, Little Fella, continued to upload new programs and data files into the warship's main frame computer. The Meshuga, a borrowed war vessel from the One Sith, had been involved in so many expeditions and fleet engagements that it was nearly time to decommission it. However, it would have one last hurrah before being scrapped for parts and materials and in order for it to continue functioning properly, it needed some upgrades; such as the data files her droid was installing.
The data files and the new computer programs was nothing special, just top-of-line products from the cheap section in the computer store. What the low cost additions, once completed and functioning in the main computer brain of the warship, allowed was the ship's scanners to stretch further, snap holopictures, and record in-real time images to be studied and observed daily.
Since this was an expedition fleet, most of the starfighters in the hanger had been swapped out for more transport shuttles to allow more teams to be dispatched and investigate possible planets as the fleet came across them. There were quite a bit of planets uncontrolled, unexplored, and unheard of in this section of the galaxy. Time was a precious commodity they had, so planning and choosing properly where to settle did not need to be rushed.
Her R7-Series astromech droid chirped and shook side to side. The sight of the droid's enthusiasm gave way to the idea he had completed his task. She pressed the little red button on her wrist's com link making an inquiry to the bridge if everything was set. The reply that was returned put a smile on her face.
"Well done," she said patting the top of the droid's domed head.

"When you go into the woods at night." The sing song voice came out velvety soft and smooth as slowly Shinju walked down the hall. The female sisterhood troopers not the main issue as she held a small grin on her face before she was letting the corset and zoosha fabric gleam with her outfit. The kama flowing off of her was of more interest before she her sabers were on her hip. The long red hair allowing her a sight before the ones on her ship. She had brought her Dark ship while the stealth systems were engaged letting her fly alongside the others coming in the expedition fleet. She could feel all the emotions and drive from them while she was feasting and rubbing her hands together in excitement.

There was a smile on her face while she was looking at her dear apprentice with a smile on her face. Slowly Sawa was watching as she felt more and more life including something deep and dangerous. Her silvery eyes flicked to her apprentice that was right near her. "Oh come now, speak up my dear apprentice, we are going on an adventure to a world no one hs ever seen before chasing the visions of a madwoman. Can there be any greater way to possibly live?"

Darth Zarrah sat in the back of the shuttle surrounded by the tiny rumblings coming off the metal machine. She was focusing on those minute vibrations while she let her mind wander about. Free. Clearing. Calm. Zarrah had been there when the announcement was made that a fleet was being sent out to look for a planet for the Covenant to call home. She was not eager to return to space travel so quickly after returning from exile. Zarrah had seen enough of the galaxy already.

By casting herself with this group she also took on their problems. She wanted to more than just help. She wanted them to succeed. So whatever they required from her she would happily give over. Maybe it was old age taking root but she felt like this group could be like a family to her. Her own family was dead. Father. Brothers. Sisters. Mother. All gone. She had Veles and he was family to her. She loved him. She was proud of him. Though in all seriousness they were only two.

Veles believed that together they could endure the galaxy. Surviving as one. He was partially right. He was also partially wrong. Her teachings he lived by needed to grow within others. If they both died then her teachings would die with them both. It was for this reason she had taken on another to serve as her Apprentice.

Returning to the shuttle's cockpit she sat down next to Veles. "Have we made contact with the fleet yet?" Zarrah was eager to do her part while she knew Veles had his reservations about the group. She could understand. Most of the group were Sith and Veles had some strong complaints against the Sith. Zarrah hoped that by her example he would learn to accept and trust others.

Adventure! In her short life she had never experienced so much adventure until she faithfully joined this Covenant of the Black Rose. Sisterhood she heard others call it. In her brief time she had found a Master. Found a partner in crime. Found stability. Found a home. Now she was on a ship in the middle of nowhere looking for a planet. Zaria didn't know the exact details behind this particular adventure. She was here and that suited her fine.
Her partner in crime CJ was somewhere aboard and the two had not come across one another yet. Both girls had been assigned separate duties to keep them busy. Zarai didn't know about CJ but she did know she needed some relaxation from time to time. Besides CJ her Master was around. The blonde hair girl that took her as an Apprentice seemed different than most Sith she had met. This suited Zaria fine. Zaria didn't hate the Sith like most Dark Jedi did. She just didn't have much interaction with them.
At the conclusion of her last assigned duty Zaria decided to go look for CJ. Zaria needed two things after a long day. A stiff drink and some conversation that didn't involve work related topics.

As Zarrah entered the cockpit, her yellowish eyes corrupted by the Dark Side immediately met with the amber glare of her former apprentice, locking their gazes for just a second before the Sith Lady moved to take a seat. His large bulbous orbs followed every single movement of his old Master, as if he still could not believe to be so close to the woman he loved, to talk to her again whenever he wished instead of visiting her in secret from time to time. Whether this Covenant worked out or not for the two, he certainly appreciated the fact it had forced the old Witch out of hiding. Before the Mon Cal’s stare became awkward and inappropriate, his attention swiftly shifted back to piloting the ship, the control yoke firmly held by the amphibious Sith’s webbed hands and eyes focused on the vacuum of space outside once more. Even when she addressed him, the Mon Calamari did not answer immediately, staring at the black canvas with thousands of black dots and several objects rapidly growing bigger as Your Deathbed closed the distance with the Covenant’s fleet.

“They know of our arrival, my lady,” he answered, nodding, “I have contacted them and informed them of our position, but our cloaking system remains engaged. We should stay hidden until we reach the fleet at least – just to be safe. These Dark Jedi from the One Sith have their eyes everywhere.” The last thing he wanted was to run into their patrol, have the One Sith know of Darth Zarrah. There was little doubt the Dark Jedi would gladly use the strong bond between the Sith Lady and her former apprentice against the Sith duo in some cruel, twisted way.

The sensors picked the Covenant fleet too, showing the ships on a screen flashing in front of the Togruta and her Mon Calamari Hand. Only minutes separated Your Grave from joining the fleet, yet these minutes were not destined to remain silent. The cybernetic eye of Veles found the red-skinned woman, her image reflected within the glassy orb.

“My charming inspiration,” he spoke softly, lovingly, to get the Togruta’s attention, “Your wisdom is infinite and I trust you completely, following you as your friend and a loyal Hand, always, but perhaps it would be best for us to prepare a plan in case these Dark Jedi prove incapable of following the path of true Sith. You know most members of the Covenant are loyal members of the One Sith as well. You have seen their incurable insanity and pointless cruelty, their insatiable bloodlust. What shall we do about these Dark Jedi? If they refuse to listen to your wisdom, they’ll only spread their weak-mindedness by being allowed to live.”

This promised to be the first mission carried out in the Covenant’s name and Veles wanted to be sure he wasn’t about to give birth to another Dark Jedi cult.
