ADVANCED SYSTEMS
STRENGTHS
  • Updated and Bolstered: While the overall armaments have been lowered slightly, due to newer weapons having increased power requirements and greater firepower, the Indomitable has also been outfitted with some new weapons systems to boost accuracy and account for the previously lacking point defense weaponry. An additional shielding system was even added to offer the ship more protection.
  • Additional Systems: Updating the systems of the mighty Indomitable was only the first step of the retrofits and modernization efforts that the engineers of the Tsis'Kaar and Sith Order made. They also included some droid brain systems to lower the crew requirements and increase targeting accuracy, a near total overhaul and upgrade to the existing communication systems to make them more secure, and even some minor stealth additions that would make the ship harder to track.
WEAKNESSES
  • Power Intensive: The additional systems, whether they be the newer weapons systems or the more advanced systems, have made the old power system of the Indomitable a bit strained. This isn't an issue due to updates and retrofits to the reactors but could prove a fatal flaw if the entirety or even majority of the ship were disabled, the reactors needing an external power boost to fully restore the ship to functionality in such an instance.
  • Gradual Advance: While boasting a fairly quick Hyperdrive, the speed and maneuverability of the Indomitable have not been that altered all that much aside from simple engine and power updates. The ship may be more modernized than its archaic counterparts but lacking speed and laughable maneuvering are still great weaknesses of the vessel.
DESCRIPTION
When the Sith Order came to the region known as the Hand of the Makers with the intent to expand their territory and reach, the derelict and dormant Indomitable Star Destroyer quickly became a source of interest. Several Sith raced to claim the mighty Imperial II for themselves and their allies but in the end the ship was captured by Alisteri Haxim and his forces in the name of the Tsis'Kaar. The Indomitable was subsequently and hastily repaired enough to allow it to exit the region before it was put under quarantine by the Sith Order, soon being welcomed into the arms and shipyards of the Sith.

The ship was passed around between various Tsis'Kaar sects as it underwent repairs and updates, having no real owner assigned to it despite the effort being put in to modernize the ancient warship. By the time it was finally nearing completion the Sith Order's Inquisition had been established and the Indomitable was designated as the flagship of the main Inquisition fleet. Once both the fleet and the Indomitable were done being created and retrofitted respectively of course.

Alisteri Haxim, now the Inquisitorial Governor of Faldos, would take special interest in the vessel during the final stages of its repairs and updates and would supply many additional resources to further modernize and specialize the Indomitable towards its role as flagship of the Inquisition. It was finally set to make its debut into the Inquisition fleet after one last round of updates in the Jutrand system, where the Lord Inquisitor themselves would take command of it as their vessel and bring it into the galaxy once more.

However, the debut and the Lord Inquisitor would end in disaster.

A few days before the scheduled debut a series of attacks by the Tsis'Kaar signaling the start of the Ouroboros Crisis would occur, leaving Jutrand distracted and the Lord Inquisitor killed during the bombing of the Senate chambers. Amidst the chaos a group of Lorekeepers, Inquisition Troopers, and other Tsis'Kaar forces would infiltrate the Indomitable and commandeer it. They made a risky yet successful jump into hyperspace from the docks, the Star Destroyer being the least of the Sith's concerns as other Tsis'Kaar attacks would ignite across their space.

The subsequent chaos in the Inquisition due to both the death of the Lord Inquisitor as well as the arrest and execution of many higher ranking members due to potential treason did not make finding the ship any easier. Finally though, a secret message broadcast across secured and encrypted Inquisition channels would be sent out from the Indomitable. It called the for Inquisition to retreat and regroup at Bailiff Station.
