902 ABY
Jutrand, Capital District
The grand and ornate capital district of Jutrand, housing the chambers of the Senate and even the throne room of the Sith Emperor Darth Empyrean himself, had been set ablaze for almost an hour now. First responders and emergency teams of all kinds were still hard at work trying to douse the flames and drag wounded governors and other politicians from the sight of the burning Senate building even as bomb technicians searched for more explosives hidden within the district.
By now the culprits of the attack had been apprehended and summarily executed on live holofeed, the details of their attack still filtering in and spreading across the Sith Order. Evidently the attackers had been disguised as attendants to some of the governors and senators during the latest session, only to throw aside their cloaks and reveal the blasters and detonators in their hands. The Emperor himself had been confirmed to survive the incident without much harm but the message was clear given how he had been presiding over the meeting.
They were after the head of Empyrean himself, and any that recognized the outfits and sigil emblazoned upon the now executed assassins would know who had sent them. Agents of the Tsis'Kaar, the hands of Darth Ophidia, had made failed in their attempt at regicide.
Kainite Space
Dromund Kaas and Korriban, so recently reclaimed by the armies of Darth Carnifex, had faced similar attacks by Tsis'Kaar assassins. Reportedly five Sith Assassins had snuck aboard the Malsheem in an attempt to slay the Dark Lord of the Kainate only to be cut down by the imposing defensive systems aboard the mighty vessel, but the planets were not so lucky. The capital cities of both ancient Sith worlds were burning much like Jutrand's own, with many of the civil leaders that were intended to bring back Sith authority now dead or wounded.
Even the Kainite fleet was not spared as one Star Destroyer was hijacked and nearly rammed into the Malsheem before the ship was destroyed, several other vessels facing similar boarding attempts that were put down quickly once the invaders were discovered.
Sith Space
All across the worlds of the Sith Order, a very brief yet deadly series of similar attempts at assassinations and terror attacks occurred. Governors and senators were slain through lightsaber, blaster, and explosive alike. Generals and admirals found their transports and ships turned into ambushes that left them either dead or fatally wounded. Many strongholds of the Sepulchral Priests were assaulted by waves of assassins, cutting down the priests and destroying much of their temples in the process.
The chaos lasted only a few short days but the culprits and the message that they sent were clear. Darth Ophidia was making her move, and the Sith Order would respond in kind. Already blockades of Tsis'Kaar worlds had been formed as fleets and armies were rallied under new commanders, VIPs were secured by trustworthy guards, and the many members of the Inquisition that held close ties to the Tsis'Kaar were either arrested or given the chance to serve the Sith Order rather than the Mistress of Shadows.
The days of the Tsis'Kaar were numbered.

Alisteri clicked off the report from the Sith Intergalactic Holonews Network as it concluded its information on the recent string of assassination and terror attacks. As expected, Empyrean and Carnifex had wasted no time in readying themselves to take out the few yet resource rich worlds under the sway of the Tsis'Kaar, He rose from his seat and donned his mask, stepping away from his desk to stare out into the space surrounding Bailiff Station.
A smirk adorned his hidden face as the small Inquisition fleet under his command departed from the docks of the station, their numbers bolstered by the handful of vessels from Wonosa that were still arriving in the system. He crossed his arms behind his back as he rolled his shoulders, his sword and lightsaber at the ready on his belt.
"Well then...it's about fething time."
