The Mentor
Josh sighed as The Final Dragon made it's way towards Roche. He considered everything he was about to do... And it left a pit in his stomach. Did he have the right to do this? As the Knight Representative?
But alas... It had to be done. This couldn't go on any longer, and as much as it pained him, being a Jedi and a member of the Council came first over personal insecurities, friendships or fears. He would gladly risk humiliation and being kicked off the Council if he was thought a fool, instead of letting these problems go on any longer. As long as it was brought to light...
Josh reached for his datapad, plugging into the Council channels. He gulped. The Jedi Knight wasn't normally this nervous... But this was huge.
Finally, he turned on the messaging... This would be broadcasted to Jedi Masters across the galaxy. He had permission to do so, after speaking with colleagues... It was now or never.
"My fellow Jedi Council Members, AND... To the Jedi Masters of our Order..." he began.
His face turned to one grim, but serious, knowing what had to be done.
"I am officially calling a summit for all Jedi Masters, on neutral ground, to discuss and take action on an issue that is slowly beginning to cause problems among our ranks. I hope to see many of you there. I am sending the exact coordinates to each and every single one of you the meeting location" he said calmly.
And with that, he ended the transmission, taking about 20 minutes to individually speed send as many coordinates as he could to the ones he had communicated. Now, as per the advice given to him... There was one more...
He dialed a number, and after a few minutes, the face of Chancellor @[member="Aleidis Ijet"] came up via hologram.
He tried to force a smile, but couldn't, and sighed.
"Chancellor Ijet..." he began, but his nerves got to him and he sighed. He knew he was better off just being himself in this situation, or risk getting himself sick. His heart was beating rapidly, and he hoped the familiarity would calm him. He hoped she would understand.
"Look, sweetheart..." he began. "I've been advised to call a summit of Jedi Masters to Roche about an issue in the Jedi, and it's also been advised to me to see about having you come to Roche as a Republic witness and advisor" he said, taking a breath.
"If you think back to a week or so ago... Or heard the rumors that surfaced after... You know what this is about" he said. "If you're able to make time for it, I would appreciate it. If you are unable, I understand completely" he said. The grim look on his face would tell Aleidis that this was important, instead of some kind of surprise date. He wished it was, calling a meeting over a fellow Jedi Council Member going power mad was the last thing he wanted to do.
His breathing calmed a bit... He watched as the asteroid field came into view, but his face remained transfixed upon the features of the Ghostling.
He wondered... Why the hell had THIS place been suggested to him? It was neutral but... Force sakes, they could have done this in a planet at least.
