Lilaste Forces:

Ground Forces: Led by Silas Vizsla Silas Vizsla , assisted by Metars Vyx Metars Vyx and Serrin .

Space Forces: Commanded by Ali Kare Ali Kare , with support from Dravin macovish Dravin macovish , Aurel Reyna Aurel Reyna , and Evvar Roxupa Evvar Roxupa .

Ground Objectives:

Objective 1: Secure the AT-AE Factory.
  • Deployed: 1 Platoon (36 Troops), 1 AT-AE Battle Group (2 Walkers),
Objective 2: Protect the Weapons Cache and Outpost.

Space Objectives:

Objective 1: Maintain the blockade and prevent enemy landing.

Discription
With time to prepare, the Lilaste order has successfully landed ground troops on the Planet, bolstering the defenses of the 100-man garrison. With Metars Vyx Metars Vyx and his Zelosians providing much-needed support should the Enemy forces Breach the blockade and make it to the planet below, the Lilaste fleet sets themselves up in a defensive position led by Ali Kare Ali Kare in her personal star destroyer. Bolstered by the forces of Mau'luk Squadron and the new prototype ships, will it be enough to push back the invaders and keep M'heali secured and safe?

In orbit
All was quiet for some time before the emergence of subspace signals began appearing on the fleet's sensors. The 34 Starhammer-series Attack Corvettes threw themselves from Hyperspace, first leading the charge and rushing towards the fleet with the 14 Terrik-series Attack Frigates close behind them with a barrage of turbo and missile fire plunging through teh blackness of space and slamming into the awaiting fleet. The 4 Neutron Star II-series Bulk Cruiser's not far behind. They were dropping out a variety of SRG-87 Railgun Drones and Stoic Missile Sentries, with one dropping a large beacon that seemed inactive for the time being, from the Cruisers Hangers launching 8 Peth Pinook-series Fighter's, 4 Tau Devastator-series StarWing Bombers and Zerek Zenith-series Multi-Role Starfighters. The fighters and bombers poured out of the cruisers in rapid succession. Creating a sort of Fighter screen as the Pinooks began rushing towards the closest ship, seemingly intending to board the vessel and try and capture it.

This wasn't a haphazard raid; it was a calculated attack. Once ragtag and unpredictable, the pirates now moved with strategy and purpose. They were bolstering newfound confidence in their unified stance against the lilaste fleet. And while the main fleet was distracted with the fighters, boarding craft, and larger ships, the 5 ISFMP Stormhawk Heavy Frigates jumped into the system, rushing for the planet. Their hangers opened and unleashed the Grek Gladiator-series Armed Transports. They use the chaos of the initial attack as a cover for their landing craft to get through.

On the ground

Objective 1
two of the five squadrons of transport ships rushed for the Lilaste Order Factory . The LO-21 AAA kicked into action and ripped apart teh gunships as they began to land, taking out one, two, and then three. Time and time again, precisely moving onto teh next target after each drop ship goes up in flames. Of the 24 that attempt to land, only nine of the initial 24 Drops ships making landfall. Seven of the transports opened up and released troops [280] while two of them opened to deploy 4 Tanks the troops pushing alongside the tanks with mismatched armor [ MAA-002 HjBmP, MAA-003 HjMP , MAA-004 HjFIP pieces here and there, not complete sets], the troops began to rush forwards, using trees rocks and other items for cover. while firing a barrage of blaster bolts toward the factory. the tanks lobbing shells at teh factory walls

Objective 2
with teh other three Squadrons Descending upon the Outpost. the LO-21 AAA turrets kicked on once they were in range, unleashing a razor wire of Slugs and plasma the Gunships bursting into flames and plummeting into the ground . with only 11 of the dropship touching down and landing. 8 of the ships opened up to release infantry [ 320], with the remaining three unloading 6 Tanks. the battle group marching forwards towards the outpost

Ali Kare

High Admiral of the Lilaste Order
Ali had been staring out the viewport at the empty space beyond, contemplating last-minute tactics and maneuvers, when her sensors officer exclaimed, "High Admiral Kare, fleet approaching!"

She grinned and turned to face the floating green orb that was M'haeli, and the small dots all around it. In reality, those dots were quite large up close, and were Lilaste warships. All of Fleet Kevun and Mau'luk Squadron was encircling the planet, planning to defend it to the last breath against the invaders.

Suddenly, dozens of smaller signatures appeared on the tactical map. Corvettes. They sped away towards the planet, providing a screen for the heavier vessels coming in behind them, which were already firing missiles at the fleet that awaited them.

Ali watched with a flicker of pride as together, the fleet shot down each and every one of the projectiles with great overkill. The admiral had always thought the Lilaste vehicles focused too much on defense instead of offensive capability. She cast that wish out of her mind as she watched the effect of such great defenses.

"Open a comm channel to the commodore on scene," she said.

"You're in ma'am."

"Commodore, begin your advance. Keep the corvettes guarding your flanks. If any of your ships takes extensive damage, retreat it back to one of the stations. Meanwhile, spread out your formation a bit. Our warships will win in every one-on-one situation. Have our shield-popper frigates lead the assault and launch all fighters on a defensive mission to shoot down all transports. If you see an opportunity to flank the enemy, take it. I will join the battle shortly,"
Ali ordered.

As she continued to watch the battle unfold, a slow grin showed on her face. This battle would be unlike any she'd ever experienced before.

Evaar got the order to launch. So he did. "Let's go boys!" he yelled into the comm as he punched the throttle all the way forward to blast out of the hangar. His squadron followed close behind, also ignoring military procedure. The High Admiral wouldn't like that, but she was cloaked in her little hiding ship hundreds of kilometers away. Truly, she didn't deserve that title just to cloak herself in that fancy ship of hers and watch as the battle was fought. Good men were out in starfighters, and on the ground fighting the enemy directly. And dying honorably.

He wouldn't mind if the pirates had some anti-stealth device and found Ali's ship. That would be a good distraction for the starbombers to go in.

Unfortunately, he had to push his thoughts about the High Admiral out of his mind when the swarm of pirate fighters drew near. "Here it is! Mikoe, you're gonna become an ace today!" he said, encouraging his comrade.

"That's right, sir!" the Rodian responded.

Finally, the enemy neared combat range. Evaar pulled the trigger, and red light tore through space, impacting against an enemy's shields. Immediately, both squadrons split off, engaging in individual dogfights. As usual, the Kel Dor was on the tail of the pirate flight leader.

He banked hard to the right, following his target's erratic movements. Already, he could tell that this pirate was good. After a few more firing attempts by Evaar (all failures or glancing blows), the enemy performed a loop. Evaar, who's interceptor was already at max speed, couldn't handle the requirements of a maneuver such as that, and thus Evaar couldn't follow. This wasn't good.

The pilot killed the drive and hit the directional thrusters, spinning around 180 degrees. He was now traveling backwards, laser cannons blazing at the enemy fighter that was just finishing its loop. Three shots splashed into the pirate's shields. That was the only moment Evaar would get. Now, the enemy was coming at him, flying in strange patterns that Evaar couldn't predict. However, the pirate found his mark mostly every time, tearing into Evaar's shields.

"I need help here!" Evaar yelled, switching all shield power forward.

Objective 2: Protect the Weapons Cache and Outpost

Serrin arrived on world via a shuttle, it did not need to touch down, she leapt through the Night Tunnels and kicked as if swimming through water till she was at the base. There she made here was with more puff of green smoke, till she was the MKII tanks, there she began her work, she conjured ichor ij shape of sharpnel crystals, jaghid spikes that she caste a spell over as she hid them amongst the floor, moving some wood and metal to make mines of magick traps. He placed incantation on tue tanks that would manifest a great green Rancor which she would control as long as she was concious. It mattersd not if it was real, what mattered is if the pirates believed it was real. As long as someone believed she could do harm to them, the mind making it real.

At the Weapon’s catch she breathed some vapor over the crack of the door, it sealed and disappeared. It was a ichor acid, that if disturbed by anyone not of Lilastre, they would feel their skin melt and burn through to the bone.

Serrin had never had the opportunity to use the Nightsister Magick in such violent ways on Dathomir, for there was no enemies to warrant its use, but all those years harnessing The Ichor, Serrin knew that she had to master the most forbidden powers, because she was leaving that sheltered life. In the greater galaxy she would need every weapon at her disposal, and what better than the Ichor, the inheritance of her people that even Sith feared.

Objective 1: Space Combat

Dravin and his squadron launched along side the other fighters following protocol as was the standard procedure. when Evvar Roxupa Evvar Roxupa and his squadron cut through the launch sequence and blasted out of the hanger he cursed to himself. though he couldn't get to mad. it was Evvar who had saved him even though he had also almost gotten him killed. he chalked it up to a learning experience. after the Battle he had done some modifications to his ship naming it the Ka'das. he worked hard to get the ship in working order.

with the Green wings in the action Dravin banked his squadron to the left aiming for the Boarding craft that were heading for one of the new Cruisers. with the upgrades he did to his personal fighter he was able to use his maneuverability to his advantage. the LO-23 Cannons on his fighter ripping through the low defense of the boarding craft ripping through one then the other "scratch five!" jolting his ship to the left and then to teh right he speeds past the craft cursing to himself " dank ferrick!" looking left and right he notices that a few of the craft have begun to latch onto teh prototype cruiser " cruiser Sarrif you have seven boarding craft on your starboard bow!"

hearing evvar over the commlink he trusted the cruiser to its own internal defences rushing forwards to his squadrons aid firing his weapons and blasting the ship that was tailing him. or well finishing it off anyways " seems im the one saving you this time haha!"

Just when he thought all was lost, the pirate's fighter disappeared into a cloud of superheated gas and shrapnel. Swooping around the fireball was the Ka'das. "Thanks Dravin!" Evaar said gratefully. He spun back around and throttled up to half power.

"Fighters, enemy shuttles are approaching the planet! Stop them!" exclaimed the commodore.

"Got it sir, my squadron is on the way," Evaar acknowledged, regrouping with his men and accelerating to intercept the small attack transports that were now nearing M'haeli's gravity well.

A minute later, after heavy (but inaccurate) fire from the enemy frigates, Evaar was angling in towards the transports from their nine-o'clock side. "Fire at will," the Kel Dor ordered. Immediately, bright red lasers flashed out towards the closest transport, vaporizing it quickly. The squadron split off and began to pick off individual targets.

Dravin swerves his ship in and out from the stragglers cursing to himself. trying to take out as many as he could but the fire from the heavy corvettes was streaking and slamming into his shields. the indicator began to flash yellow then orange. flipping on his coms open to @evvar Dravin swerved sharply to the right just barley missing some turbo laser fire " Evvar we need to pull back. we are to far from our support ships and these Heavy Frigates are going to tear us apart!."

as Dravin spoke he looked out to his left watching as one of his green pilots go up in a ball of smoke. cursing to himself he shook his head " green wings pull back, repeat Green wings pull back to the fleet!" it wasn't easy watching some one die. but in war it was something he had gotten accustomed to. and it always seemed to be that damned last wing slot. the cursed 8 as the rest of the fighter squadron had begun to refer to it as. no matter how many missions they flew, who ever held the unlucky spot always seemed to die or become critically injured. it was almost comical at this point

Aerial intrusion alarms rang out in the ready area of the Lilaste outpost. Metars looked at his troops and smiled. It had been a while since he had led a true mission. Given the circumstances he decided that proving Zelosian worth to their new allies was better to be done in person than dictated to one of his officers. Command of a single platoon was far below the Mandated Commander of the People of Zelos, but being in action again was a rush to the leader of his people. This was what he was wanting. This was why he pursued this alliance. This would bring his people out of isolation and into the limelight.

Metars placed his hand against his earpiece and took in the information that control was sending out. “Right men. Enemy has landed. At least eleven landing craft. Infantry and tank units. We’re not going to shy away from either. You are the best Zelos has to offer. You will prove we belong in fights and need to be feared. You are the future of all Zelosians. Let’s make these petty pirates rue the day they poked their heads into our corner of the galaxy.”

There was an affirmative reaction from the Zelosian soldiers and Metars knew that this was going to be a glorious day. ”Right then. First objective form up in defensive positions on the Eastern walls of the outpost. Squads One and Two on the center and Three and Four on the flanks. Once we’re in position check we’ll assess the enemy. If they are the ragged bastards I expect Squads One and Two will press forward in an aggressive defense of our position. We won’t have the numbers. But we are better than these rabble. We didn’t have time to train on the heavy machinery so keep central comms open. If we need to bring in artillery don’t shy away from doing it. Let’s move out!”

The Proximity alarms began to sound, Serrin finishing a final spell. She then reached for he LO-125 hanging from her belt, the snooth grey handle matching her outfit and muzzle rising out of holster as she waited. There had been a call to the lines, to fight frok the walls, but she had to hold these spells together, and would be the last stand to protect the catche.

It did not take long, some Pirates made there eay down the hall, they were grumbling and cracking jokes. Serrin armed her blaster and hid behind a wall. There were three. Taking a deep breath The Nightsister conjured the ichor energy aroybd ger and with a poof she disappeaered. She appeared bect to one and pitting the barrel to his head fired, the green flash lit up his face and he flew in the air, the other two raised their rifles as she poofed into snoke and droppee below waist of another and fired several bolts into his got and taking his body like a shield presses it into the fire of the other before disappearing. The final pirate turned,

“Where are you?!”

He turned and her pistol pointed at his eye, a flash and he fell to ground. She then began to projected again, traveling via teleportation, taking the bodies to a closest and stuffed them inside.

The only signs left was some black marks in the walls, ahe then took position again neartge catche. She would save her greatest traps for those who got past, she chimed on her comlink to Metars Vyx Metars Vyx ,

Some got through, they must have found another way inside. I will hold at the Catche and make sure its safe, may Luck be with us all. Over and out.”

High Commander of the Lilaste Order
Space battle: objective 1
The enemy fleet continued to push forward, pulling their Fighters in a protective screen in front of their frigates and cruisers. The frigates formed a + formation in front of their heavier Cruisers. Fighters swarming any larger ship that got close enough. With the Boarding craft latching onto the hull of the sarrif and the surrounding support craft. The pirates are seemingly trying to capture the Lilaste warships. Lilaste FIghters begin to work on picking off Pirate boarding craft around the Sarrif, but for the most part, they are stuck on like barnacles on the underside of a ship.

The space above M'heali was a cascading tapestry of turbo laser fire from the opposing battle. Starfighters from the pirates burst into flames, being tailed by the Lilaste ships, with the occasional Lilaste fighter exploding in a fireball of shrapnel and carnage. The Pirates seemed well aware of the dis advantage they had against Lilaste warships in a one-on-one scenario and worked to drive a wedge between two of the new Prototype Cruisers to split them off from the rest of the leading group. as the Small Corvettes of the Pirates begin exploding one after the next they begin to create a Debris field one that catches Slug rounds and Missiles before they can manage to hit the larger ships in the back.

During the ensuing conflict, a Bomber Squadron attempts to flank to the left of the formation, aiming for the MKII star destroyer. With Ali Kare Ali Kare cloaked in her flagship, her Communications officer picks up some intercepted chatter from the pirates
Pirate Leader: "Skar, how's your squadron holding up? We're about to make our move amidst this chaos."

Skar: "We're good to go, boss. Bombers are fueled, armed, and itching for a target. Where do you want us?"

Pirate Leader: "The Pride of Lilaste – their flagship. With all the chaos going on, they're vulnerable. We want you to exploit that gap."

Skar: "Heh, that'll send a message! They're so busy with the dogfights, they won't see us swooping in from the side."

Pirate Leader: "Exactly. We'll have the Raptors and Vipers increase their assault. More noise, more distraction. While they're tangled up, you make your run on the flagship."

Skar: "Got it. Quick and brutal. Use the chaos to our advantage and give 'em a blow they won't forget."

Pirate Leader: "You've got the idea. But stay sharp. Their defenses aren't to be underestimated. One wrong move and you're space dust."

Skar: "Don't you worry. We've been training for this. Wait for the bigger push from our side, then we dive in. They won't know what hit 'em."

Pirate Leader: "Good. Give 'em hell, Skar. And watch your back out there."

Skar: "Always do, boss. Let's turn the tide of this battle. Skar out."

With Dravin and Evvar almost separated from the main fleet, the Five heavy Frigates continue to rain fire down at the squadrons. Desperately aiming to defend the landing craft they had launched from their hangers. The five ships move to try and encircle the straggler's turbo fire, nearly missing each other as they grow closer and closer to the pair. The large Frigates were made to take on ships of the same class and not starfighters. but with enough focus and cut off from escape the ships could create a deadly coffin for the two squadrons.

Ground Battle: objective 1
the March of the Pirates' advance rumbles the ground like a stampede of wild animals as Metars Vyx Metars Vyx begins to give orders to his troops. The Lilaste Soldiers in Proximity echo similar orders. The Infantry Platoon took up positions along the outpost walls, manning the Prototype LO-27R Machine guns they had pulled from storage in preparation for this defense.

As the Enemy troops emerge from the forest about 1 km away, the four AT-AE tanks begin opening fire. The Enforcer Mass Driver shells launch and whistles through the air before hitting the ground and exploding. The HE shells send dirt debris and limbs from those unlucky enough to have been caught in its radius flying into the air. The dual LO-35R rotary guns on the front of the walkers spin up and begin firing, sending blaster bolts and slugs through the air, flying into the now sparatic pirate forces.

What little formations the Dusate Pirates had quickly dissolved when the fire from the LO-22/AP and the Machine gun nests began to fire onto the enemy forces. Who started to throw themselves left and right, running for cover. One of the Pirate Tanks turned and began firing at the Defensive turrets, slamming superheated Plasma into the purple and red glow of the tank's Main weapon, creating a cosmic trail before hitting the turrets. - which were sturdy but not invincible- if something weren't done, then the Outpost defenses would begin to fall.

While Serrin kills the three scouts sent to try and sneak into the Lilaste outpost, the sudden thunder of cannon fire echoes softly in the halls of the outpost. A few Lilaste troops ran down the hallway, grabbing spare ammunition before pushing themselves back into the open combat, which leads to the question. How did the three pirates sneak past the walls and troops? Perhaps there was a fault somewhere that if not fixed could lead to teh fall of teh base from the inside out, a way the Pirates had snuck under the wall and into the heart of the outpost.

There was a movement in the shadows as more Pirates pushed their way forward. Haven seen where the lilaste troops had gathered ammo from and were ready to plant explosives and sabotage the weapons cache - after plundering what they could for themselves, of course- the pirates foot steps grew louder and louder as they pushed forwards eager to keep their cover unlike their comrades from before.

Ali Kare

High Admiral of the Lilaste Order
"Ma'am, we have intercepted an enemy communication!" exclaimed the junior comm officer excitedly.

"Good, let's hear it," Ali said.

Skar out."
Interesting exchange. With a more detailed look at the tacmap, Ali did indeed find the bomber squadron sweeping out away from the main battle, aiming to come in at the new MKII Star Destroyer from an undetected angle.

Perhaps it was time to enter the battle. With another overall look at the battlefield, she made a call to the commodore in charge. "Commodore, take your corvettes from guarding your flanks, to your front. They will be able to combat the enemy screen effectively while you continue pounding away at their heavy frigates. Also, cease firing your missiles. It is just a waste now. Conserve them.

"It would seem the enemy is trying to drive our prototype destroyers away from each other. Let us play their game. Have each new warship vector off from one another, preferably having one on a different altitude than the other, and focus their combined broadsides on the ships stuck between them,"
Ali ordered.

She cut the comm channel and folded her arms over her chest. "Uncloak us, Nav."

A shimmering effect appeared outside the viewport, showing that the cloaking field was down. "Launch three LO-CSKs . Each missile will aim at a different frigate."

The ship shuddered ever so slightly as three missiles emerged from the Equalizer's starboard side. They floated dead for a moment in empty space, drifting further away from Ali's ship, before firing up their engines and shooting away towards their targets.

Ali watched, as did the whole bridge, with great anticipation. This would be the LO-CSK's first real battle, and it was time to see what the expensive projectile could do. The first missile made contact with a frigate's port side.

Nothing. No...not nothing. Something was going on. "Magnification please," the High Admiral ordered, peering at a viewscreen to her left. Yes, something indeed was happening. The missile, meant to pierce right through enemy armor, was doing just that.

Boom!

The first missile exploded from within the frigate, blasting massive holes in its structure. Successful test.

Without Ali having to tell him, the commodore intensified fire on the blindsided ship, destroying it within seconds. A massive fireball bloomed in the viewport, heralding Ali's arrival to the battlefield. She broadcasted to the combined Lilaste fleet, "Attention all, this is High Admiral Kare. Resume combat as normal, but know that I am in control now. Dravin macovish Dravin macovish , you were wise to escape the frigates. I must send you now to defend the MKII Star Destroyers from a bomber squadron approaching from their 2 o'clock. I trust you will dispose of them easily."

Serrin had made her traps and now she felt curious. How had three pirates got inside? She went to were the bodies had been and then using her powere made her eyes glow green as she saw foot prints appear, she followed them, piping rising all around, tell she came to a great hatch, a sewer system of massive pipes, the hatch was open. She took her LO blaster pistol and pointed it down in, she let fly four or five bolts, several of which splashed in the waters. The Nightsister then taking her heel boots clung to the esge and flipped down in, she landed inside. The waters were flowing at low levels, as she came to a junction, then she moved further on and saw signs of explosives damage, it was clear the pirate rats were placing charges, some of them had gone off, which meant either they were idiots or they were trying to breach the Sewer Piping at multiple junctions. Looking further down in the shadows she saw lights, and her grumbling,

“This is the worst! Why does Dalkva get the glorious part? While we slink around in this poodoo?”

Another pirate smacked the smaller one.

“Shut up! We have the easy job! Charging the walls is a death sentence. You wouldn’t last one second against those.. wait what was that?”

Serrin climbed uo a ladder fast, at the top, she hunched her back against a hatch and aimed her pistol. The Two pirates stood below her.

“I thought I heard something..” said the Large Pirate.

The Smaller Pirate scoffed,

“Your always hear’in things Jubar!”

Serrin took a breath as their lights moved past. She pulled her comlink and radioed,

Pirates.. they have infiltrated through the..

The hatch opened and she was grabbed by her grey and silver hair. Her pistol was taken and she was now face to face with a Pirate.

“I knew I heard a noise.. such a pretty thing to be lurking in a sewer. I am Thravik, and you are going to lead us to Weapons Catche or you will die..”

Serrin looked at the Pirate qho smirked, some of his teeth golden and sparkling beneath the lights.

rushing forwards and leaving his squadron behind, he almost forgot that he had made personal upgrades to his ship and had to restrain himself from out speeding them, he had heard of the new Interceptors that came out recently. maybe he might have to upgrade his squadron with new toys after all this was over

Metars heard the Nightsister’s voice over his comm just as the enemy was breaking through the tree line and making a play towards the outpost. The out of practice commander turned politician cursed silently wondering if he should split his troops to aid down below. As he considered the pros and cons the heavy armaments of the outpost started to engage the invaders. The results brought a smile to Metars’ lips. With that sort of response he could certainly provide back up to the Nightsister. Gavyn Anres Gavyn Anres take six men and head down to support the Nightsister inside the outpost.” As Metars gave orders the enemy tank started a barrage on the Lilaste turrets. Gavyn didn’t seem too happy with the orders given and obviously wanted to charge off into the field. Metars was also reconsidering until he heard Serrin’s voice again. ”Get moving now Captain!”

Down six troopers and his most trusted advisor Metars turned his attention back to the field. ”Alright men. That tank is going to hurt allied forces if we let it keep going. Press into the field and take that thing out. Divide up. Hit it from three sides at once.” Metars wagged a finger to the first ten soldiers, ”Left flank.” The next ten ”Right flank.” Metars gave a grin. ”Rest of you are with me right up the middle. Let’s go!”

The Zelosians gave a war cry as they performed the actions demanded upon them by their ruler and commander. Metars was a little over zealous and took the point of his group. But with the focus of the tank on the heavier defenses of the outpost, Metars was confident that his group could take the tank out. That would get the turrets back into play to scatter the infantry of the enemy.

Gavyn did not like the orders he was given for multiple reasons. First the Mandated Commander of the People of Zelos had not led troops in battle for many years. Metars was busy running a planet he shouldn’t have been left to command on his own. Gavyn also wanted the greater glory of taking on the larger foe. And lastly Gavyn wasn’t quite comfortable with the unknown and a woman who was comfortably called a witch was the unknown, even if she fought on his side.

Slowly the Zelosian team made their way into the outpost, making sure to verify each section was secure before moving on. As they got closer to the super secure weapons cache each of the troopers started to sniff. ”What is that smell?” Gavyn questioned and considered if the group should seek out the quartermaster for gas masks. The Nightsister stated the enemy had infiltrated the base, but the transmission was cut off. There was likely more. Perhaps she was warning of chemical weapons.

The group nearly arrived at the weapons cache when Gavyn saw the opened hatch. ”The bastards are in the sewage lines,” he called out over the open comm channel. ”Anyone see the witch?” he questioned. Six heads shook. ”Alright. Hold your breath and jump in. I’m guessing that she’s on their tails or worse. We are the witch’s support. Switch to stun. Don’t want to accidentally shoot an ally. We can always kill the pirates once they are stunned.” A series of clicks was heard before Gavyn led the group down into the hatch looking for Serrin.

Thravik had Serrin pressed against a wall, her LO blaster was taken.

“So the weapon’s catche, I will count to ten since your a woman and rather pretty.. one..”

The Nightsister stood with a blaster pressed against her head.

“Two.. three.. come on lady.. four.. five! Dank you have some spirit!”

Thravik looked away, Serrin’s eyes began to burn with green fire making the pirate holding the barrel to her head netvious,

“Uh boss! Boss!”

Thravik ran off more numbers,

“Six..seven.. eight.. gee Lady do you wanna die?!”

The Pirate with the blaster to The Nightsister’s head continued to shout,

“Boss!!!”

Thravik looked up,

“Nine.. farrik.. ten..”

At the ten Serrin broke into particles of green Ichor and smoke and the blaster shot went through the smoke that had been The Witch into another pirate, who’s body flew back in flash of red at the chest. Serrin then appeared behind the shooter and made a Ichor blade and stabbed the crystal edge through the man’s chest, he cried out.

Thravik stood up and fired off several shots, all of them going theough smoke as Serrin made her way to him and knocked the weapon out of his hand, and stabbed his arm, him screaming, she then re-animated to her full form, looking at The Pirate Lord in the eyes.

“What.. what are you?!” He shouted.

Serrin came close to him, her silver locks nearly touching his face, she whispered,

“A Witch..”

Panning away the screams of Thravik filled the room, as it sounded like meat being beaten by a chisel. Serrin dropped the Ichor blade which was half broken emerqld crystal, her hands covered in rose water which she wiped off from a Pirates bandanna. The comelink of the Thravik was filling with noise and voices, she grabbed it off. She took it and listened,

“We are sending forty more marauders into the sewers.. let us know if you got the weapons.”

The Night Sister recovered her LO blaster and some grenades. She tried the frequencies on the com to try and locate Lilastre line,

This is Serrin.. over.. Sewer is about to be overrun with pirates. Back up requested, copy?

She then waited to hear if there was a response.

The six troopers were waiting inside the sewer tunnel when Gavyn dropped in and took a look around. His face distorted with the smell, but decided to push through it the best he could and steeled his expression to not let on that he was affected. Noises could be heard further down the tunnel so Gavyn gave silent hand signals to his troopers and the small group was off in the direction of the noise.

Gavyn froze at the first blaster shot. ”Go!” Gavyn yelled and with rifles in hand the Zelosian troopers were hustling towards the sounds of gunfire. After only a few more shots the noise died out, replaced by screaming. The Zelosians picked up the pace and arrived at Serrin’s side just when she announced the impending pirate attack.

”Captain Gavyn Anres. Zelosian Army,” he announced stiffly. ”I’m guessing you’re the Nightsister?” continued looking at what was left of the pirate’s scouting party. ”My men will help you hold the tunnel. I’m guessing we’re going to need more…” Gavyn gave a slight smile as he said so. He had longed for action since becoming Metars’ chief advisor. Zelos was a calm place for the most part.

As he waited for Serrin’s assessment he gave more hand signals and the troops set up strategically to be able to pick off pirates as they came down the tunnel. In all likelihood they’d be able to pick off ten or so before the others realized there was a threat. Then there would be bodies to move around for the attackers. What the Zelosions would lack for in numbers they would make up for in other areas. But a large number of pirates would still overwhelm the Zelosians in time.

High Commander of the Lilaste Order
Objective 1 Space combat
Dravin macovish Dravin macovish Evvar Roxupa Evvar Roxupa Ali Kare Ali Kare

The pirate fleet, chaotic yet cunning, swiftly notices the change in tactics from the Lilaste forces. The sudden revelation of a cloaked Lilaste flagship and the menacing streaks of missiles cutting through space signal a dire need for adaptation.

The pirate leader, a master of mayhem and strategy, quickly assesses the situation.watching as three of his ships get struck then exp[lode sending shrapnel into nearby ships. "Fan out, everyone! Spread out!" he barks over the comm system, his voice laced with urgency and excitement. "Make those missiles work for their supper. We're not easy prey!"

Reacting to this command, the pirate fleet, which had been relatively clustered, now scatters across the starry battlefield. Each ship, a unique silhouette against the vastness of space, maneuvers to avoid becoming an easy target for the Lilaste's advanced weaponry. This dispersal tactic, while diluting their firepower, vastly improves their survivability against the formidable offensive capabilities of the Lilaste fleet.

Concurrently, the pirate bomber squadron, initially set on striking the MKII Star Destroyer, receives a critical update. "Skar, pick up the pace!" the pirate leader demands. "There's a squadron on your tail. Take down that star destroyer before they can catch up!"

Skar, responds with a grunt of determination. "Roger that, boss. We're going all in. That star destroyer's as good as ours."

The bombers surge forward with renewed speed, engines roaring as they navigate the treacherous battlefield. Their singular focus is to land a crippling blow on the MKII Star Destroyer before Dravin's squadron can thwart their efforts. Skillfully, they dodge incoming fire, their eyes locked on the looming silhouette of their target.

As this fierce space battle rages on, another critical phase of the pirate plan is in motion aboard the MKII Heavy Cruiser. A squad of pirates, having successfully boarded the cruiser amidst the chaos, begins their sabotage and takeover efforts. Armed with blasters and makeshift explosives, they move through the corridors, intent on securing vital control points.

"Plant the charges here," whispers the boarding team leader, pointing at a junction in the cruiser's power system. "We take out the bridge, and the ship is ours for the taking. divert thier forces away from the bridge and reactor"

The boarding pirates, each move calculated and stealthy, engage in sporadic firefights with the cruiser's defense forces. They use their knowledge of ship layouts and guerrilla tactics to gain the upper hand, aiming to cripple the cruiser from within.

Back in the command ship, the pirate leader watches the unfolding events with a mix of apprehension and anticipation. "Stay sharp out there," he advises his fleet. "We outmaneuver them, we outfight them. And you boys on the cruiser, make it quick. We need that ship!"

Ground forces Objective 1 Outpost Defence
Metars Vyx Metars Vyx

Amidst the chaos of the ground battle at the outpost, the pirate forces quickly acknowledge the need for a tactical shift against the heavy Lilaste resistance. The pirate commander, seasoned in the art of unconventional warfare, calls for a change in strategy to guerrilla tactics.

"Change of plans, everyone!" the commander's voice echoes through the pirates' comms. "Direct assaults are getting us nowhere. It's time for hit-and-run tactics. Snipers, take your positions. Aim for key targets in their defenses. Tanks, focus on precision strikes. We soften them up from afar, then regroup for a full-scale assault."

Expertly, the pirate snipers slink into position, melding into their surroundings. They aim to create chaos within the Lilaste ranks by targeting strategic points and personnel, disrupting the outpost's defenses, and sowing confusion.

Heavy and imposing pirate tanks adjust their tactics for targeted bombardment. Their cannons roar as they unleash a calculated barrage against Lilaste bunkers and artillery positions, aiming to break down the fortifications.

while on the retreat a Pirate group catches sight of Metars and his zelotions are concentrated on a particular tank, the pirates see an opportunity for an outflanking maneuver. "Squad Alpha, move to the flank on the right. Squad Beta, take the left. Let's hit them where they're not looking," instructs a pirate lieutenant, orchestrating a pincer movement.

The pirate squads, quick and agile, initiate their flanking maneuver, aiming to catch the Lilaste troops by surprise. The goal is to disrupt the Lilaste's focus on the tank and force them into a defensive position, potentially exposing weaknesses in their formation.

From his vantage point, the pirate commander oversees the unfolding battle, his eyes sharp and calculating. "Keep up the pressure, but stay agile," he advises. "We hit them hard from a distance, then regroup for the final push. This outpost will be ours."

Amid the battle at the outpost, the pirates' transition to guerrilla warfare introduces a new dynamic. With snipers picking off targets and tanks strategically bombarding key positions, coupled with the flanking tactics against the Lilaste forces, the pirates aim to destabilize the outpost's defenses. This multi-pronged approach sets the stage for a more organized and potentially decisive assault soon.

Sewer pipes

In the damp and echoing corridors of the sewer system beneath the Lilaste outpost, the pirate infiltrators, a motley crew more accustomed to raiding than organized combat, find themselves in a challenging predicament. The unexpected encounter with Serrin and Gavyn's forces prompts hurried discussions over their comms.

"Razor, this is Hawk," whispers the leader of the pirate inflitration team "We've stumbled into something big down here. There's a group of fighters, and they're not just regular grunts. What's our play?"

Hawk's message is met with a crackle of static before Razor, the makeshift leader of the pirate group, responds with a mix of caution and frustration. "Damn it, Hawk. We can't afford to pull back now. We need to cause chaos inside, but we're not equipped for a full-on fight with trained troops."

The communications among the pirates are tinged with confusion and urgency as they scramble to adapt to the new challenge. "Listen up, everyone," Razor commands. "We stick to the plan, but we stay smart. Keep to the shadows and use hit-and-run tactics. We need to keep them guessing."

Morale among the pirate ground forces, already shaky due to their ragtag nature and lack of professional training, begins to falter. The whispers of uncertainty are palpable over the comms. "What if we can't take them?" questions a pirate nervously. "Should we try to talk our way out of this?"

Razor, sensing the growing fear, snaps back, "No surrender, no retreat. We knew this wasn't going to be a cakewalk. Stick to the shadows, plant your explosives, and keep moving. We're here to distract, not engage in a full battle. if we have to we can draw them apart. In fact, Gurita, take your men and engage with them directly. Keep them where they are. We may not be able to plant explosives in the base itself, but hopefully, the sewers will have to be good enough."

Gurita moves to object but quickly retracts his objection when Razor points his blaster into the mans face " yes boss"

As they inch closer to Gavyn and Serrin's position, Gurita signals a halt. He peers around the corner, spotting the silhouettes of Gavyn and his troops, alongside the enigmatic figure of Serrin. "There they are," he whispers. "Remember, we're not sticking around for a fight. Hit them and move."

Without further ado, Gurita and his crew launch their assault. Blaster bolts streak through the darkness. Gurita takes the lead, firing a series of shots towards Gavyn's position, while his crew targets Serrin.

As the pirates proceed with their mission, they move with a newfound wariness, aware that Serrin and Gavyn's presence has significantly complicated their objective. Each step is taken with caution. Each decision weighed against the potential for a deadly confrontation. Despite their lack of formal training, the pirates cling to their mission of sowing discord within the outpost, hoping their guerrilla tactics will be enough to fulfill their goal amidst the growing tension and uncertainty in the dark, labyrinthine sewers.

Ali Kare

High Admiral of the Lilaste Order
Ali leaned closer in to the blue holomap, watching as dozens of red dots began to split off one another. They were spreading out. Trying to make the Equalizer's missile attacks less effective. She truly had to commend the pirate leader. They knew more strategy than Ali would have expected. But that was no match for the High Admiral's insight. Even as the enemy ships were moving, the Equalizer cloaked again, moving in towards what seemed to be the pirate lead ship.

A Lilaste Star Destroyer such as her flagship could easily take on that pathetic rabble. "Commodore, you would be wise to match up your ships with the enemy. Now that they are spread far apart, you can take them in the one-on-one situation I talked to you about earlier. We win every time....Commodore?" she questioned after seconds of silence on the other end.

Out of the viewport, she could see the MKII cruiser sitting there in open space, not moving. She frowned. And then she saw the boarding pods. No doubt, there were pirate boarders on that ship, actively trying to take the bridge. Ali growled. There was always something.

"Station control," she said, opening a channel to one of the Trok'hil stations in orbit around M'haeli. "Dispatch a platoon of marines to the Commodore's cruiser. He is being boarded. Urgently!"

The Nightsister was pleased that a small contigent of back uo had arrived, she wiped a strand of silver hair over her ear.

I am thankful for the assistance Capt. Andes, I radioed on the coms that more pirates are incoming. We will need to get ready.

She cocked her LO blaster, and with her left handsd conjures some green ichor. She took her place in the sewer with Zelosian Troops, her eyes watching the shadows for movement.

She turned to Captain Anres,

I could scout ahead and use my magick. Though it is your call since you are in command here.

Serrin had not recieved a rank yet, she fell under Independent Contractor, but she hoped this mission would prove that she would be an asset to Lilastre Order. It was strange, ahe had met Laphisto Laphisto as a stowaway and now she was serving in the ranks of His Order. To go from sheltered life as a Witch on Dathomir to dealing death on pirates was quite the shift. If only her Big Sis Navina could see her now, making a difference, no matter how small in the larger galaxy.
