"Padawans War journal, five hundred thousandth day of the... something I have lost count. All of these days blend together now that I have reached snack nirvana." The ancient stones of Tython tremble under yet another explosion blaster fire, lightsabers clashing, the usual afternoon apocalypse. Smoke curls around the crumbling ruins like a bad holodrama filter. Then, from the shadows of a toppled pillar, a small figure strides forward with the gravity of a master who's just invented a new war crime involving whoopee cushions. "Oh yeah sneaky sneaky sneaking I am sneaking." She said the jedi stealth mantra to channel her inner sugar rush into power.

Akela Ru, Padawan Menace, lekku swaying like royal banners, planted her tiny boots on a chunk of rubble and throws her arms wide. Her lightsaber hilts dangles unused from her belt like an afterthought. Behind her, two very confused fellow padawans stumble into view Jey and Zev already looking apologetic for whatever's about to happen. Akela clears her throat with theatrical importance. Her voice coming out in her best attempt at a deep, menacing growl but it's mostly squeaky. "I love the smell of sith tears in the morning smells like... crying adults." She said it and Jey spoke as he was there. "That's great news, Akela! Congratulations! We got down here the plan worked."

She pauses, glances back at Jey expectantly. "The plan... the plan didn't work, the adults still stand. We have not acomplished out goal of total victory over the tyrants of naptime.. the ones who say we are only allowed one juice box." Jey looked at her blinking, caught off-guard "Ah... Okay?" Akela looked at him clutching her chest like she's been personally betrayed by the Force. "It is not okay Jey... On the contrary... I mourn." She said it as dramatically as she could when she was there. Her lekku dramatically drooping for maximum effect. A distant sight of a Sith warrior pauses mid-swing to stare. "I was hoping to face the Sith personally on the battlefield one tiny galactic terror terror to another in respectful combat."

She spoke while she was there and looked. "Then I would... snap theirr spine. Ahhh." She makes a tiny little spine-snapping gesture with her fingers. It's adorable. Terrifyingly adorable. As the two with her were looking and she turned to look at Mykel with another long, wistful sigh. She stares off into the middle distance like she's contemplating the fall of civilizations. "The road not taken. But why? Why do they still insist on fighting? I am not there to be challenged. Why would they not seek out the one the masters call a menace? And chaotic? All I want is to create the perfect Gummi-soldier! Not for power, not for evil... but for good."

She gestures grandly at the battlefield. "Sochier-er Ru, I mean, future Gummi droid troopers will be the first of many! They shall march out of our super secret, ultimate, limited edition, special awesome, transforming secret pillow-fort laboratory and snack bar and sweep away every adversary, every boring meditation session, every adult who tries to take away the candy bag, until the very planet is in the loving grip of the Pax Akelica!" She spreads her arms wider, voice rising to a crescendo. "And then peace will reign! No more bedtimes! Cookies mandatory! The galaxy shall bow to me in humble gratitude... and hand over all their blue milk."

Silence falls over the nearby padawans. Zev stands there for a moment his chest rising and falling, throat rumbling in deep admiration, wiping a tear. "That... that vas beautiful, little boss." Akela spins on her heel, grinning like she just pulled off the heist of the century. She points at the end goal with one finger, the other hand already rummaging in her belt pouch for emergency candy reserves. Akela speaks with her voice going back to normal, bright and terrifying. "Alright, padawan pack! Formation Puppy-Eye! We're going in hot Jey, you handle the loud distractions. Zev, you be the wall. And remember: if anyone offers broccoli, we send them crying home to mommy!"

She ignites her lightsaber with a flourish it's bright pink and moves forward with a glitter bomb in her hands as she looked at Mykel. She look at him yelling over her shoulder. "Sweep the legs, we have no mercy in this padawan pack."

As Varin’s eyes drifted over the space, the smoldering cloak unfurled from the branded openings in his back, reaching out like small tendrils of superheated smoke.

“I don’t see anything, sir.”

Varin’s brow tensed into a glare as his eye flared within his helm. Brandyn would see the Sith scan the room, then his visor would fall over to him, as if looking into him, through him.

“You’re right. There is no one here. Go find the others, regroup, and head for the main observation point.”

The Nagai dipped his head as they both turned to leave the room. Varin stopped just within the doorframe, then quickly turned around his hand outstretched towards the invisible assailant as a rush of flames barreled towards him, the heat instantly rose as the runic brands upon his body heated the armor, shaping their edges along his plates.

“Come out.”

His hand slowly fell to the hilt of his blade and quickly drew it, the air from the blade seemed to sharpen itself as well as it flew towards the assailant slicing through desk and screens like wet paper.

The molten lines of his armor flared like a living vein of magma as he stepped towards the figure, pursuing with quick aggressive steps.

[...Is Miss Ru alright?(>﹏<) She appears to be in distress.]

"Yes, it's just her way I suppose." He replied with a small chuckle on a private line. "Everything is fine for now."

Mykel had initially bumped into the young prankster during his time helping to refurbish the Jedi enclave on Ukatis. Even for those with the greatest of patience, she could be an...acquired taste. Her exuberance was welcome though - it just needed some tempering, which is why he had brought her along. A relatively low-intensity mission for the Knight to smooth out the edges of his temporary charge.

He looked down at the small Torgruta with her weapons in hand, then shook his head as he flicked back to the team channel.

"No need for those at the moment, from here on out we will proceed quietly."

With the main power of the station out of commission, the Consular could focus his energy elsewhere, weaving a veil that removed them from sight and hearing. In his light and sound absorbing shadow armor, he was already like a roving void with little definition in the dark, but now the pair would become phantoms.

"Ru, why don't you release the doors to our right with telekinesis?"

This was the first test. If everything worked out, then the pair could merely stand off to the side and wait for the security team to pass over them and then slip seamlessly into the next section for the turbolift shaft.

Tython. Lestra's home away from home, when the Alliance had been in charge. Yet like every great age, the age of the Alliance had fallen and Tython has spent a fair amount of time in the hands of the dark. The Empire. This Covenant. Both his homes were in the hands of somewhat hostile elements. Dantooine was in the clutches of the Diarchy whilst Tython was here. He shouldn't have to hide himself amongst the trees, he shouldn't have to be figuring out how he was going to get to the hanger and get some holocrons out. But here he was.

"Squeak, squeak, squeak squeak."

He glanced down towards his foot, at the small pack of rats that he had sent into the Temple, before crouching down to hold his hand out towards them, closing his eyes as he let the Force flow from him towards the rats, letting him see through their memories. The hallways they ran through, the guards and security they managed to spot as they scurried through the Temple. It was clear that the guards were somewhat...well, on guard. So Lestra was going to have to be extra careful.

"Excellent work Captain Squeakims and Squeak Company. You lot should head off now, it's going to get loud."

For a moment, his hand ruffled through his robes, taking out a few bits of cheese and handed them off to each of the rats, before they scurried away back into the woods. Hopefully Lestra would see them another day. The lad didn't enjoy using animals for combat. Ever since that day with the Hidden Path, and he had used a herd of creatures as a distraction...The pain he had caused them weighed heavily on his shoulders. But that was neither here nor there.

It was time to sneak his way on into the temple, keeping his spear held in one hand and a selection of different jewels between the fingers of his other hand. Lestra had done plenty of travelling by himself now, and whilst he still might only be a Padawan...This was his first mission that in a way, he had set out by himself to do. Not saying that he was alone. In fact, he was far from being alone...

Paperfolk

Lohī looked out over the Jedi Temple of Tython. A truly magnificent place. It flowed with the sorts of primal energy that she had come to truly love whilst in her stasis. For fifty long years while developing she had communed with the living Force. While she would have liked to dwell and meditate in this place, there was an important task at hand. For the coming stealth, her paper-based form was fortunately rather light. Perfect for decreasing the sound she generated. The Jedi Outcasts had tasked her to look over one of the padawans that had resolved to join their ranks. She would come upon the boy, Lestra, communing with a pack of rodents.

So he was already scoping out the scene? A smart lad indeed. She'd offer a polite bow to the rats as they passed before she turned her attention to the blue-haired learner.

"Are you ready to make entry?" Lohī asked of the padawan, her umbrella resting gently on her shoulder. "We have a long day ahead of us. Best to not burn time."

The Paperfolk offered a gentle smile, raising her hand to gesture to a nearby balcony.

"Others will be entering through the lower passages," she recalled. "I suggest we ascend. It may offer less resistance, no?"

She'd see if climbing was something Lestra was up for.

The last time Ko found himself on an asteroid like this he’d nearly been eaten whole by an enormous exogorth. Part of him wondered if perhaps a little infant could be living within this very rock. Slowly munching its way through the mineral hull like a worm in an apple.

Once he could he took hold of one of the radiant stakes. A spear of ashla could be a potent tool if used wisely. Storing one on his belt he handed another to Valor before speaking. “Sorry our first outing couldn’t have been more fun…”

Present

It seemed like good timing to strike out for the holocrons when they were in mid transport. It meant that the interlopers and thieves taking them couldn’t just hide in the temple with them during their attack. It could stretch their defenses thin, but also the Jedi’s attack as well.

Ko himself wasn’t too used to being on the offensive. But he had no real compunctions about it. Even for a traditionally inclined Jedi like himself he always believed in the value of being proactive.

The kel dor trekked through the woodlands with Valor outside from the temple. Personal memories of the planet flashed through his mind. Recalling how he defended himself against a fellow son of Dorin within these very woods. Or when he fought cybernetic sithspawn on the dark moon of Bogan. This wasn’t his first time here facing a dire situation.

Ko paused and stood still for a moment next to one of the many trees around himself and Valor. “It’s been awhile, old friends…” He spoke softly to the trees. “I would be honored if you’d lend me your support once more.” He pleaded, showing a measure of reverence to Tython and the life that grew from it. But he could understand if Tython herself had grown weary of the Jedi, Sith and all those who are sensitive to the currents of The Force.

Turning his attention to the echani hand Ko spoke to Valor. “Stay close, and take this.” Ko handed the teen the unassuming darkened bamboo stick that he had been keeping with him as a cane. “Be mindful, this weapon is not keen on giving second chances like a lightsaber.” He explained, it wasn’t just a wooden stick. It was a blade forged for him by his master Jonyna Si Jonyna Si and he was lending it to Valor for now so they could be armed. The Kel Dor still kept his own lightsaber latched to his belt for now.

"I was born ready."

He broke out into a slightly fangy grin in the direction of the paper-like woman. The actual species she was what lost on him but it didn't matter. She was an ally of him so that was good enough for her. Though as she gestured over towards the nearby balcony, Lestra slipped the gems back into his robes, crouching down for a moment as his eyes scanned over the area surrounding the balcony. The cogs slowly whirring in his head as he planned a route to himself, before a slow nod.

The next thing Lohi would see would be Lestra launching his spear at the Temple, a small concussive wave of air erupting from his hand as he used the Force to increase the speed of the weapon, before it lodged itself into the wall of the Temple. And with that, he broke out into a sprint, breaking out into a climb. It was like when he climbed back on Odessen. Leaping up towards his spear, before spinning on the weapon, using it to throw himself up and onto the balcony, a grin spreading across his face, as he hooked his legs over the balcony and hung upside down.

"Want some help?"

Lestra held his hands out, acting almost like a human ladder. Lohi was about to find out that as much of a standard human Lestra looked like, he acted more like some kind of animal, depending on the occasion. This occasion? Well, let's just say Lestra was getting up to some monkey business.

Valor was fairly quiet as he followed his Master's lead. He slipped the offered object into a pocket on the inside of his robes.

"I've been curious to see what's on Tython that makes it so... desirable." He offered in reply.

✦ . ⁺ . ✦ . ⁺ . ✦ ✦ . ⁺ . ✦ . ⁺ . ✦ ✦ . ⁺ . ✦ . ⁺ . ✦

Valor resisted the urge to sigh as his broken ribs were still healing beneath his tightened bandages. Each breath drew a line through his chest, shallow and measured, as though the forest itself might hear any weakness in the sound of it. Following his Master through the woods was proving to be troublesome enough; the uneven ground shifted beneath his boots, roots rising like hidden snares beneath fallen leaves. Branches tugged at his sleeves and pine needles clung to the hem of his robes.

He adjusted his posture shoulders squared though the movement sent a muted flare through his side. His hand hovered briefly near his ribs before falling away, fingers curling instead into the fabric at his belt. He hadn't anticipated having this much trouble and had promised he could keep up with Ko. He didn't dare speak about his injuries even now considering this.

A bead of sweat traced slowly along his temple despite the cool woodland air. His pace shortened, but only slightly, enough that it might pass for caution rather than strain. When he blinked and was offered the stick, he accepted it without hesitation, masking the relief as he shifted a portion of his weight onto it. The dark bamboo steadied him, though he tried not to lean too heavily.

"I'll stay close, Master."

Paperfolk

Lohī trotted along with a gentle air to her, watching as Lestra made his way up to the balcony in extravagant fashion. The Paperfolk instead took a far simpler approach. She held up her umbrella and created a gust of wind below her, lifting her up into the air. The paper scales on her body rippled in the wind, and her tail dangled below her in a rather comedic fashion. She drifted towards her destination much like a dandelion in the breeze.

"Want some help?"

When she arrived at the balcony, she accepted the hand of Lestra as he hung over the edge and offered his services as a human ladder.

"Aren't you a gentleman," she mused. "It would be rude to put your effort to waste."

All the more time to take in the air of Tython's outdoors, just for a moment longer before they had to delve into the depths of the Temple. Whatever lie within, she imagined, may differ to the familiarity the structure once held.

Who knows what the Sith could have done in such short time.

With Lohi up and ready, Lestra swung himself back down for a moment to grab his spear, yanking it out of the wall before swinging himself back up onto his feet, patting the spear against his shoulder with a toothy grin once again. In the past, he would have been disappointed at how slow Lohi had went, relying on the wind, but alas, he had came to understand that people moved at their own rate.

"Alright...Gimme a second to recall..."

The Padawan crouched down for a moment, closing his eyes as he tried to piece together the different routes he had seen Squeak Company go. If they were coming in through this balcony, then he'd have to piece together the route from here. Maybe easier said than done however, since Lestra wasn't much of a planner or strategist.

"...There's an armoury down to the left. Blasters. Lots of blasters. They've redecorated the place, a fair bit. Lots of broken bits all over the floor. Going to need to be careful we-...Well, I don't step on them."

Considering Lohi was made out of paper, he doubted the idea that she'd be able to break anything by standing on it. He was the one who was going to need to be careful, as he decided to take the lead, relying on the mental map he was slowly making. Though almost as soon as he stepped inside, his nose wrinkled for a moment. There was a heavy smell of blood in the air. Considering who knows what went on in the temple, it didn't come as a surprise.

"We're going for the hanger right?"

Subtlety was not the language of this particular errand that Jasper Kai'el Jasper Kai'el had tasked him with. Uncharacteristically, Braze was not attempting to slip through shadows or soften his presence to a whisper. He arrived as a fiery resplendent declaration in a display of Force.

The air shifted as pressure changed, loose banners strained on their tethers as dust swirled in uneasy spirals across the stone. Then heat rolled outward in arcs of blue fire. Fire curved at his gentle gesture, arcing in controlled ribbons that carved light across the approach without claiming more than he allowed.

Wind answered the motion of his hand feeding in to the hunger of heat hyper oxygenating the azure inferno. It rose around him in a tightening column as embers lifted and circled, held in orbit rather than scattered, casting his pale figure in a restless halo of azure and ash.

He walked through it unscathed by the intensity of the heat. White hair stirred in the currents he commanded, jade eyes bright beneath the shifting glare. The Force pressed outward from him as heeled boots crossed the stone floors.

He called, voice carrying cleanly through the roar of wind and heat. "You have something that does not belong to you."

The wind snapped outward in a sudden burst, scattering footing, forcing guards to brace or stumble back a half-step. Fire traced a line along the ground before him, a bright boundary circling his intended range.

Instead, he stood framed in flame and rising air, posture open, almost casual with his palms slightly apart at his sides as the elements coiled obediently around him. A challenge without a single blade drawn.

He intended to be a spectacle of Force, an open challenge cast into the air, daring anyone with the nerve to try and stop him.

She looked at Mykel and gave a nod of her head as she right. "Right, sneaky sneaky... we will be quiet like when the Connel Vanagor Connel Vanagor farts and blames it on Corazona von Ascania Corazona von Ascania because she is an old lady." She knew the game as they were going forward. Herr attention on it while she moved on tiptoe with her saber going to her hip, the glitter bomb going into her travel pack of awesome weapons. She grabbed for a handful of tactical gummi worms. Mykal asking her to open the door with telekstesis. Ha like she knew what that was. "Ah... dude that is gross like when Romi Jade Romi Jade would ask the padawans to smell her finger she had been digging around in her belly button for lint."

She said it but was moving all stealth like as she channeled her inner Omega squadron... her mind was a brick wall of fortressy fotresses and stealthy trench coats... she was the padawan terrible that flobbed when they tied her to the bed in the night.. the jam between the toes of justice... the wart on the hand Vulpesen Vulpesen she was moving through the area, it couldn't not deny her skill. My fellow jedi screamed from her grandeur. She is the great one. She is the powerful and revered and most importantly.... she couldn't be seen as she stood near the wall.
