Tefka Efreet is one of the oldest, wisest Jedi who survived the Four Hundred Year Darkness (FHYD). Tefka suffers from deep despair following the death of his younger brother, Teferi Efreet, prompting him to anger much more quickly than his wiser, more peaceful younger brother. He is also addled with old age, making him not quite as perky as he once was.
BIOGRAPHY:
Tefka Efreet was one of the original seven Jedi who stood against the encroaching Imperial attack on Bastion, often hailed as one of the last major battles before the descent of the galaxy into Chaos. Almost immediately, Tefka found himself plagued like many others with a variety of the Gulag virus, and escaped into isolation on the planet Naboo to meditate and heal. Almost a century later, the Jedi Master found that through the Force he was able to survive and continue on, though the will of the Jedi was lost during the FHYD. He found himself training a few apprentices on Naboo throughout the years, but for the most part kept himself in isolation and minded his own business, often venturing to unknown regions and taking time away from his familial duties.
Soon, old age found him, and would begin to creep up and hinder his abilities to train as he once did, and Tefka found himself slinking further into the life of a hermit having not found his brother for many years.
Years before his brother joined the Republic, Tefka found himself joined with an old friend, the master of Jedi @[member="Selena Halcyon"]. Together they fought a few battles in Sith territory, but during one such excursion Tefka's old friend found himself falling to the dark side. Through this treachery and evil, Tefka was captured by the Sith and taken to Korriban where he would be tortured and prodded for the location of his younger brother, Teferi. After many months of captivity, Tefka soon found himself escaping from the compound in which he was being held and managed to disappear into the depths of the Tingel Arm, deep behind enemy lines.
The older brother of the fallen Grand Master was thought dead until stepping out of a transport into the docking bay of Corsucant...
