- Powerslave: With its onboard droid brain network the Invictus can be managed as a completely automated starship eliminating the need for a vast majority of the required manpower needed to crew the vessel otherwise.
- TIE Racks: Carrying a hangar load out meant to accommodate for TIE series vessels which can be compactly stored and rapidly deployed, utilizing this line of starships as the ship's compliment allows for more effective 'hit and slip' tactics meaning a faster starfighter deployment and recovery.
- Watch Your A*s: Like all ‘wedge’ shaped star destroyers, only an array of point defense cannons protect the Invictor’s aft at all. Leaving its ion drives fully exposed to enemy fire in a gruesomely exposed blind spot.
Developed as an integral part of the New Imperial Order by providing a heavily fortified Interdictor star destroyer able to lock down opposing fleets from making hyperspace jumps with its eight gravity well projectors. Combined with the interdiction fields of other New Imperial Order vessel, the Tartarus-class Interdictor Star-Destroyer is a crucial support vessel to be implemented into large scale New Imperial fleets and in planetary or system wide patrol groups.
