Alexandra yawned as she sat against the crates, coming down in one of the few freighters shuttling the Jedi to an old set of ruins that had once held the Jedi of the Old Republic and the Army of Light at one point. It was an archaeological dig on the surface, searching the confines for artifacts, weapons, and armor that Jedi might wish to study or even adopt. From there the Order would claim the temple and rebuild it, recreating something greater.

The area they would be searching would be far from any of the planet's defensive grid, located in a considerably less volcanic portion of the planet, though there were volcanos in the area. It had created a place where the temple could exist without significant shielding, and what shielding did remain was archaic and in need of updates done to it. She had come before the others, only by a few minutes but none the less before the rest to set up that shielding device and allow for them to operate without masks to protect themselves.

And, she was not expecting just how ancient the temple was when the ship settled down and its doors opened, a blast of hot air rushing towards her face. She let her droids do their jobs, dragging the generator into position and instead moved to look up at a statue that stood in the courtyard outside the entrance to the temple. The stone that had survived the weather of ages stood firm, displaying the appearance of a robed individual.

There were little records on this location, and even fewer on what ended its use. Having been abandoned long before the clone wars, and only been scouted by an Army of Light team, one that had not searched the depths of the temple. She wondered what had kept them from doing so and her eyes peered past the statue for a moment, the white robes flowing around her as another gust hit her.

The doors were tall and firm, locked in place but not impossible to deal with. It was a Jedi Temple in the end and the force would allow her and the other's passage. But no damage to the doors or the statue in front of her confused her. It was with that in mind that caused her to reach out, looking for a sample to take and a sliver of stone to remove from the statue.

She wanted to know how old this place was, and what had caused the Army of Light to not consider it for a base of operations.

(OOC: Come to explore a Jedi temple, getting armor, sabers, crystals, or whatever cool Jedi stuff you want to find. As a bonus, deal with the perils locked away in this repository, from droids still active after all this time, to a dark being that remains dormant inside the temple.)

Objective: Reactivate the Shipyards that are of no longer importance to the company and planet, convert it into a Naval Base

Solan stood on the bridge of "The Skyfall", a cruiser of his own making and watched it slowly drift into the defunct shipyard with several other vessels already on board or following his own craft's approach into the station. It would not take long for the ship to findits way to a boarding tube and he already turned, heading to the location he needed to be in to board the station.

Rendili Stardrives was a massive network of shipyards and docks that the Republic needed if a war effort was to be remotely possible in the future. So much so that the republic bought an old and out of date shipyard that had been separated from the rest, converting it into a naval station.

From this station they would be able to defend and respond to attacks throughout the sector with the sation acting as a central command. It also would allow them to repair small damage that did not necessitate large conversions or repairs such as significant hull damage. The Station would serve as the line of defense, line with a powerful shield and a weapons array that could combat small forces.

But this was all long from its current state, still in the early stages and vulnerable to attack and raids from outside presences. Ships were still moored and needed pulled from the Shipyard's docks as well, transfered to the other shipyards owned by Rendili. Right now any opportunist group with enough courage could have a pretty strong chance of striking.

That was why so many had been called on to provide defense of the station and its assets, hoping to dissuade any attackers.

Of course, some would see that as a challenge though, and one that a group had already taken.

Soon, an age old conflict would have the whispers of starting up once more, one between the beacon of freedom, and warriors bred for conflict.

(OOC: Defend the station from some Mandalorian Raiders, who will be trying to steal a ship or two and kick yall's rear ends out of an airlock. Have fun, and please talk with your opponents to make a great story.)

Objective 3: Do your own thing, bring your own objective, and have fun. If I did not tag you, or you want to do the other objectives, feel free to. I was just taking a guess where people would want to be but of course you are free to choose.

Finding his way back into the life of service under the New Republic had been a fortunate turn of events since the conclusion of the Clan Wars surrounding his people on Iridonia. It had been some time since the fighting ceased, however Bekk Mag'ra had opted to stay behind in order to spend time with his fellow Zabrak, in the end managing to survive the fallout of his former Temple in the expansion of the Sith Empire. Today, his journey to Sarapin offered him a chance to reconnect with the reformed Republican Jedi, to make contacts and reaffirm his position within the Jedi of the Galaxy that he might continue to contribute towards the good in what other-wise seemed like endless chaos without those willing to risk all for the betterment of society.

The 'Kal'vyshde' Jedi Interceptor broke down through the planets atmosphere and continue to dive until the clouds parted from the front of his canopy and land came into view, from there, he evened her out and continued towards the designated co-ordinates for which he would meet his new branch of the Order. It was naturally, his hope that he would fit in, though like all new peoples, he expected that place would need to be earned.

It wasn't long before he came slowly over the locale, his repulsorlift thrusters kicking in as the Interceptor slowly lowered to the surface of the volcanic planet, the freighter for which [member="Alexandra Feanor"] had already arrived upon ahead of time, dwarfing his starfighter. Moving to detatch the safety harness from across his chest, he soon shut down the engines and looked up, reaching for the height of the canopy and sliding the roof back so that he could climb out into the...-not so fresh air. Frankly it reminded him of Iridonia, so at the least the heat wasn't off-putting, though there was an ample scent of sulfur in the humid breeze.

Marshal Fuga kicked on of the heavy terminals with his large suite and watched as one of the screens turned on. The large Hapan Clone laughed loudly as he he looked at the Engineer with his hand open. "20 Creds, Warrent Officer."

The Engineer took off his hard hat and handed over the golden credits. "That should not have worked sir, this junk dates back to the Sith-Republic war ten years ago." The officer walked over to another terminal was had wires sticking out of it. "Wanna fix this one too and make my job easier Colonel?"

Drax only stashed the gambling money in his back pocket as he started to enter the start up data into the terminal, "Its Marshal Commander now, promoted after the Commenorian Campaign, and my job is not to make yours easier Jared, otherwise I would have told you that terminal power cable is cut."

The Engineer looked behind the terminal to see the wire was blown and needed replacing. He let out a loud sigh, and then went thought his data tablet to fill out a request for Power Cable. "I will never understand how you can do that here."

He just finished entering the start up program and stood up. When nothing happened, he kicked the terminal again and the entire command center lite up as the screens were now filling with program information of a boot up. "Had to get station like this that was not use since the Galactic Civil War 800 years ago back when I was serving under Archlo-" He stopped himself as he thought of his service within the Dominion, being the few that were still alive and active was weird to say the least. However, he followed the Archlord.... He meant Master Grayson to the Republic where he was welcomed and given command. Now he was here, working to get the station up and running for the Republic. "For the Dominion, this is child's play, get General Halle and General Corek on the horn and let them know that the Command Center is up and running, though it is still booting up, I am heading to the Hanger to get those damn Starfighters moved so the dropships can start sending in supplies."

Drox picked up his equipment and started to walk out, "Commander, what about this terminal, I think it is Radar or something?"

He just continued to walk out, "Useless until you can get that new power cable and do not attemp-" One of the fuses blew in the terminal, "Attempt to start the back up power..... Good luck Jared." He only moved on to the Hanger with his gear.

Camellia wasn't surprised the vote had gone toward the Republic. The previous incarnation that had abandoned Rendili was not forgotten by the populace, but they also did not hate the time spent as a member world before then. Nor did they see the new Republic as necessarily the same, there was simply some wariness to be had and rightly so. Regardless the Republic had come in peace, a far cry from the Sith conquest that had decimated a portion of the planet and left the population changed at the very least in physique. The Arch-Provost had played it smart and safe in the end, polled the people, looked over the manifests she had given on behalf of Rendili Stardrive regarding the trade benefits and conflicts that would come up and the economic growth that appeared to be positive in the end as a result. All in all it was going peaceful, quiet, and in the end not much would change about the world really.

Good for all involved, the people got some added security, an estimated economic growth, with little change in their government structure. The Republic on its end got access to Republic Contracts from Stardrive, the yards for construction, a position in the Inner Rim, and new tax revenue. It seemed like a fair deal since it was all done no muss or fuss. Their conversion of some old stations though was a bit weird. She wondered if they didn't have a standardized Station design or if the old tech was still better either cost wise or for the construction time. Regardless, she knew calling in was necessary. The Arch-Provost had made sure to let her know about it, and since it was old Stardrive work she could point out things about the components.

With that in mind, the Croa woman waited for a comm line to reach the Republic Cruiser that had entered the system. "This is Camellia Swift of Rendili Stardrive. I was informed I should contact your chain of command on advisory matters of the station the Republic is working to retrofit."

Objective: Make contact with Jedi Grandmaster [member="Alexandra Feanor"]
Equipment: http://starwarsrp.net/topic/44925-rendili-battlemaster-armor/

Taking his leave of the Vice Chancellor, Alex donned the gray Republic Sentinel Knights armor that had been requisitioned for him and clipped his lightsabers to the utility belt. Over the armor, Alex wore an armorweave cloak. The outfit still seemed a bit silly to Alex, making him feel like a Stormtrooper almost, but he couldn't argue that it was a huge improvement over the lightweight armor that he habitually wore while on Tatooine.

After attempting to contact the Grandmaster through official channels, Alex had been informed by Republic intel that she was heading up an expedition to Sarapin to investigate some ruins. The Vice Chancellor had stated that part of his mission parameters were to check into any locations under the control of the Jedi, so Alex felt it was as good a lead as any.

Following an uneventful journey to Sarapin, Alex carefully guided his YT-1300, Shadow Runner to a spot well clear of the Jedi freighters and other ships which had already arrived. Existing his ship, Alex was immediately hit with a blast of humid, sulfuric smelling air. There was a strong Force imprint here, and as Alex caught site of the source, his senses reeled at the sheer size of the ancient ruins.

"Unreal," he whispered to himself, craning his neck back and walking in a slow circle to try and take in all the scenery. "This place is ancient! Thousands of years old, easily."

Reluctantly, Alex tore his gaze away from the impressive ruins in order to focus on the task at hand. He had a Jedi Master to find, in order to help the Vice Chancellor quell the suspicions spreading among the Senate.

When he was contacted by the Jedi Order of the Republic,Coren knew that he couldn’t turn them down. The war effort was going… well, it was a war effort, that was about all he could say. Still, the Jedi was his calling now, more than the military, but not more than the battle of light versus darkness, and when he was requested? He was going to show up. The Praxeum was looking for him to lead at times, even if its day to day management was held by others, and the Shattered Order were out doing their own knight-errant style efforts. Today, though, he was going to move, to help check out a set of ruins.

Landing his personal freighter near the ruins, he stepped out, in much more of his spelunking gear than any typical Jedi or military outfit. A slugthrower, lightsaber, and stretch of rope, as well as his wrist mounted datapad was going to allow him to get into the ruins deeper and more effectively.

A few other Jedi had already arrived and he was going to have to play catch up, or at least start the move for some of them. Stepping into the ruins, he broke open a glowrod, and dangled it from his belt. So, why hadn’t the army of light come here?

"Seriously, think about it!"

Serious Sor-Jan was being totally serious, about a serious subject that required serious thought. Because this was the New Republic. And they had some serious business to take care of. Seriously.

"Cupholders," the small Corellian boy stated, his arms gesturing widely as he spoke with an energy that only served to further highlight the fact that he looked like he was all of ten years old. "Like, why aren't there any? These x-wings are missing some serious basics."

Don't even get him started on the stock subspace radio. These people needed to seriously up their stereo game.

Since the last days of the Galactic Republic, a young Jedi by the name of Sor-Jan Xantha had served as a guardian of peace. He'd disappeared for about eight hundred and forty-four years, arriving in the present century to a galaxy that was divided in a way unlike the one of his distant youth. He didn't look much of Jedi now, his small form dressed in a gray-blue flightsuit that bore the sunburst-starbird that was meant to represent the New Republic. A rank tab on the shoulders of the flightsuit had an insignia like that of an inverted V that was colored in blue, denoting the military rank of commander.

"How... how are you... like, 'sposed to ride around with your fizzyglug if there's no cupholders?" the boy demanded, hands out in a gesture that seemed to beg the addition of a silent am I right? to that last statement.

The Duros across from him was shaking his head even before the excited youngling had finished speaking. Holding up one finger in the universal adult gesture of +10 asserting adult authority, the alien lieutenant said, "First of all, you probably shouldn't be drinking fizzyglug."

For her part, the lieutenant commander who was the third wheel for this conversation on the flight deck was just sipping her caf and trying not to laugh.

The boy's face immediately changed emotions 180 degrees, giving the Duros a scowl even as the man kept his finger aloft and proclaimed. "Drink water. Or beer."

Sor-Jan's head went back, his expression going from exasperation to disgust to utter dismissal. Seriously, beer tasted like chit. This Duros' tastes were now utter garbage as far as the boy was concerned.

For his part, the lieutenant seemed to reflect on whom he was speaking and amended his previous statement. "When you're older, that is."

Okay, now Lieutenant Duros had lost all credibility with the short-round Jedi. "Dude, I'm like forty years older than you," Sor-Jan stated, before squatting dramatically in an imitation of one of those super sentai holo-serials. With a dramatic pose assumed, the boy belted out, "Get on muh level!"

The Duros was obviously less than impressed. Holding up a second finger of +10 adult authority, the lieutenant started to say, "Second of all..."

"Alert: Hyperspace reversion in one minute. Combat air patrol stand by for launch."

The youngling jumped high enough as to have been eye-level with the Duros for a moment. Arm raised overhead, the child chimed in a sing-song voice, "Dibs!"

The two other Republic star pilots just blinked. "You can't call dibs on patrol," the woman remarked, at last lowering her cup of caf.

Swinging two arms arms to point over at the woman, the boy dropped back a step and kicked his head back -- flipping some of his hair from out of his eyes. "I totes just called dibs," the child-knight affirmed, with a cheeky grin that could have given the Cheshire Cat a run for his money.

With a firm shake of her head, the lieutenant commander turned to set her cup down on a nearby ammo crate. "There's a very strict protocol for determining who takes the first patrol," the woman asserted, as the Duros nodded his head in firm agreement of the boy's obvious social faux pas in calling dibs.

As the tow-headed Anzat glanced between the two, confused, the woman and the Duros held out one hand each in the tell-tale gesture of what was about to happen.

Putting his arm out as well, a bubbly laugh escaped from out of the Anzat as the three all pulled their arms back in unison. Then, extending them outward, each said, "Ro!" in unison. The arms retracted back. "Sham!" Then their arms extended outward again.

This would be when they would make their choice.

In his minds-eye, the boy was already peering into what was about to happen. "Bo!" The two officers had both cast 'paper', while the Anzat had two fingers wiggling in the universal gesture for scissors.

Spinning around, the small boy held up two fingers on either hand, making snip-snip gestures as he danced from side-to-side and bopped along back toward where the blue accented X-wing starfighter was resting on the flight deck.

As he did, the silvery cylinder swinging off his flight harness made the two Republic officers stop and do a double-take. Had he? Did he just..?

"HEY!"

"Uh oh." He got that a lot. So much so, that he skipped the whole looking back over his shoulder and just bolted for the starfighter with the Republic's finest in pursuit.

"Come back here you little gutter-snipe!"

Abandoned. H...How? Why? She had only recently found the place, or its location at least, but it appeared it was already abandoned.

She was annoyed, irritated even. Not only had she been tasked to find this guy somewhere during her time after the facility, they had made it quite the 'adventure' to find his... bunker. She had to go through a great amount of trouble to even find the guy's address as he seemed to have relocated himself. If she wasn't used to the testing they had always done on her, she would have thought he didn't want to be found.

The location of this bunker had seemed quite favourable, as she had just been asked to join her mother, or perhaps 'master' would fit the situation a bit better, on Rendili, to investigate some kind of ruins.

So Abigail had arrived early, a day or so, so that she could find this bunker before joining the other Jedi at the ruins. Unfortunately, she hadn't found what she was looking for. Instead, she had found an abandoned bunker. Or well, mostly abandoned anyway. The only residents that remained were a few mean security droids, who definitely weren't keen on Abby's business. So, in short, she arrived late to the Jedi expedition, and with a few bruises as well.

"You... dog", Abigail exclaimed from under her mask and protective gear, through which she could still feel the heat, as she strolled towards the place she was supposed to be. "First, you tell me to find you, to keep you updated on my progress. Then, when I do, all I find are some shady agents trying to keep me away from finding you or anyone else. And then, when I finally do find you, there's nothing there except a big death trap!" She sighed, as she shook her head. What had happened to the organisation in which she grew up? Perhaps.... Perhaps they had been destroyed together with the Alliance?

No, no. Thinking like that was only going to instill paranoia and fear, two things she had no use for right now. So she forced herself to abandon this train of thought, and started to focus on the task ahead. She was going to go on a little investigation with other Jedi, and most importantly, with her mother. Over time she had come to appreciate their time together, even longing for more interaction between the two.

This caused her to pick up her pace, so that she was soon near the ruins. It looked like she was in fact late, despite her moving faster than she had planned. Oh well, she probably wasn't the last, and even if she was, she thought she spotted a few people still here anyway.

Once she was inside some kind of shield, it appeared to be safe to take off the armour she had... borrowed for a while to last on this planet. After taking off the helmet she spit on the ground, throwing the helmet and the rest behind some rocks without looking at it again.

It was still hot, but it was manageable here, and she was glad to be out of the restrictive armour at last.

While she quickly wiped some blood from her lip and forced her messy hair into a ponytail, she ran up to her master and the others who seemed to be there. Once she caught up, she nodded towards the group as a greeting before turning to Alexandra.

"Hello master Feanor, sorry for being a bit late. I'll promise to accompany you on the trip next time", she spoke with a few sharp exhales of air in between. She had run quite the distance from the awful bunker over to the ruins. But she was here, finally.

Together with Alex where two others so far, one being the man she now knew to be Coren Starchaser, and another she didn't know yet.

Inyari felt more than a little nervous, she had been called back to the temple for judgement on wither she was fit for training or whether she would be shuffled back to the exploration corps again, something she really didn't want to happen so she would have to try her best to make a good impression on the karking grandmaster of the order, that probably worried her the most, she had to impress more then just some random master, it was weighing heavily on her. Although on thing did counteract her nerves was the fact that no matter what happened here she would get to dig through an interesting ruin and learn something about the history of the Jedi, or find some interesting artefacts along the way, and that would make it all worth it.

Inyari took a breath and adjusted her flight suit and walked up towards Alexandra and spoke up "Grandmaster? I'm here."

Alex made his way towards the temple, where several others were gathering. One of them had to be Grandmaster Feanor. As he approached, Alex made certain that the emblem of the Republic was visible on his uniform. Stopping a short distance from the assembled Jedi, Alex briefly inclined his head in a gesture of respect before speaking.

"Greetings. I'm Alex StormWolf of the Republic Sentinel Knights. I am seeking Grandmaster Alexandra Feanor, as I've been instructed by the Vice Chancellor to speak with her. There are concerns among certain members of the Senate that the Jedi Order may lead the Republic into a war which we are in no current position to win. It is my duty to inform the Vice Chancellor of my findings in order to quell the rumors and unrest within the Senate. Personally, I feel that my mission is a bit of overkill on the Senate's part, but the Vice Chancellor had informed me that Grandmaster Feanor would understand."

"You just gotta love Politicians..." Bekk Mag'ra spoke his mind openly, his gaze on [member="Alex StormWolf"] whom had suggested that the Jedi could be the type to encourage conflict and war. Fortunately, the man seemed kind enough to want to dispute it, though he too was here by instruction and so it was a question of the Senate's that would be looked into either way; "Always thinking the worst of us" he elaborated with no great amount of insight into the Zabrak's personal experiences with the Senate and the like.

Those few among the group whom had spoken up in search for [member="Alexandra Feanor"]'s presence had called the woman, Grandmaster. It was fortunate to know that Bekk hadn't been led astray by the information he'd been given in his transition from Iridonia, back into active duty under the Jedi of the Republic. That they were at a distance from politics was something Bekk was all too comfortable with, yet hadn't always been the case for Jedi in the Galaxy. The Force, he had been taught, was not something that one should seek to mix with the position of leadership or governance over so many others. As if there weren't risks enough for those training in the Jedi way.

"Volks nuin" Bekk Mag'ra smiled to the group, "Greetings everyone" He let his arms lower to his sides, his thumbs in his pockets, taking hold of the back of the seam as he stood there somewhat casually, looking about them all. "M'name's Bekk. Nice to finally meet some of you".

"All strapped in, Bee-Four?"

It had only been a few months ago that the young Jedi had even heard of an X-wing class starfighter. During the Clone Wars, the closest thing he'd seen to this design had been the ARC-170s that the clone pilots had flown. Then, Sor-Jan had wound up in a scuffle between [member="Jorus Merrill"] and some group that had called itself the Ancient Eye.

Which, that seemed like false advertising. Sor-Jan was pretty ancient and he'd never even heard of these guys.

When Jorus' ship had come under attack, Sor-Jan and BB-4 had jumped into the nearest cockpit in what turned out to be a T-85 X-Wing. The whole time during that skirmish, BB-4 had been supplying Sor-Jan with the cliffnotes version of the X-Wing owner and operator's manual. Some of it, he'd figured out for himself. Some of it, he was still trying to figure out.

To be sure, the boy had a lot of flight hours in the cockpit. As a padawan, he'd learned how to navigate a starcruiser when he'd been temporarily commissioned as a Republic Judicial Forces officer during the Hyperspace War. It was a skill that he'd further refine as a Jedi Knight of the Old Republic, particularly as he had to qualify as a pilot on the Delta-7 aetersprite starfighters as part of the trials of skill in use at that time. As a Jedi General during the Clone Wars, those Delta-7s had evolved into the Eta-2 interceptor by the time that Sor-Jan had led the 734th Clone Expeditionary Unit against the Confederacy at the Second Battle of Drall.

When he'd arrived in the current era, he'd won a Corellian YT-2400 light freighter off a smuggler in a card game on Lothal, which he'd flown from one side of the galaxy to the next. He'd flown against the First Order at Skye, made the Kathol Run -- several times in fact -- and taken the freighter into a couple of harried situations with pirates and other groups out in the Outer Rim.

But, hours of experience didn't translate into knowing whether the lever on the right was the landing gear or not. And then there was the whole S-foil deal. So, while he had enough experience in the seat to not be entirely uncomfortable, there was still a lot about the X-Wing airframe that the youngling was trying to sort out for himself.

A cruise through the Rendili System was just the sort of practical exercise that the boy was looking for in order to start getting his bearings inside the cockpit.

Which, this cockpit was definitely a far cry from what he was used to. Compared to a Delta-7, the amount of information available to an X-Wing pilot was neigh overwhelming. The helmet feed alone contained about 9 different data points. By comparison, Jedi starfighters were pretty bare bones. A lot didn't even have targeting computers.

Making a few adjustments to the display priorities, the boy was beginning to get a sense of where to look for things. Which, was just the easy part. Now that that was done, he could actually pay attention to the proverbial road. "Give me some more power to the engines," the boy uttered, speaking back to the astromech plugged into the back.

Laying a small hand on top of the throttle, the tow-headed boy said, "Let's see what this thing can really do..."

As a child, the knowledge of being part of the Jedi Order had thrilled him. He considered those years a simpler time, when the only Jedi he knew were his friends and teachers, and the only government he knew was the Republic. He knew there were Jedi who left, he knew there were Sith they fought, but his life was relatively stable. Then came the wars, the invasions, the loss and collapse of the Republic. There was a new Republic now, a new Jedi Order, but it wasn't his Republic, his Jedi. The thought of being part of yet another spinoff or revival seemed more like a chore now than a thrill.

He was far too young to be this world weary.

That sentiment had not escaped Jerek as he removed the helmet from his flight suit, trading it for a nondescript, sleeveless tunic and trousers that were more appropriate for the arid, slightly volcanic climate of this region of Rendili. The only badge of his Jedi nature was the straight hilt of the lightsaber firmly attached next to the utility pouch on his belt. Though he dressed unremarkably to make a point about his attitude toward the various orders that clamored for the name 'Jedi,' he needn't have worried, for there was nobody here to challenge him. The boy peered about the landing pad, deserted except for the collection of ships already collecting windborne sand, and wondered if that was yet another illustration of his mood at the moment.

The oppressive heat was already making the boy sweat as he jogged the short distance towards the temple opening, already excavated to the point of revealing figures and weathered, yet sturdy, steps carved straight from the igneous rock that rose from the dry bed of land. The cavernous facade was ringed with other carvings that had only been partly exposed, leaving the rest to the imagination. Jerek was hardly one to dwell on such unexplored mysteries, but he couldn't help but feel a sense of wonder at the sensation of stepping into a temple steeped in history and preserved for millennia untouched.

It was easy to feel the change in tone as the boy stepped deeper into the ancient temple, passing the point where nature, mostly in the form of sand, had crept in and needed to be cleared before entry. The air grew cool, already making Jerek wish he had dressed differently, and it took on a charged feeling that he knew all too well. It was different, like reading the archaic form of Galactic Common with modern eyes, but it felt familiar in a way that even time could not erase. The Force was strong here, either naturally like in many of the Jedi's ancient temple locations, or simply by the presence of so many of the order's members over the centuries. Even being abandoned for eons could not erase the core of the temple's being.

There was something to that notion which resonated with Jerek. A thought he noted but tucked in the back of his mind for later.

Up ahead, he heard voices and the harsh glow of artificial lights that told him he was approaching other beings. Jerek stepped into the gathering where others were making themselves known, some more forcefully than others, offering his own greeting in turn, "Hello there, Jerek Zenduu here."

Sure, he knew the Republic’s lead Jedi was here, but he’d get to her later on. He was here on his own accord and, while he was always willing to respect a specific Jedi sect’s rules and regulations. It did mean though, that he was going to do things his own way at times. And today was one of those times. Still, the ruins were what he had been seeing on a few other worlds. A place for Jedi Lords and the Army of Light teams to set up. But it… was different. He wasn’t quite sure how to place it.

Taking some holos of the area before he began recording to map the interior, he looked around. Ahead he could see the people, but he wanted to make sure he got acquainted with the ruins in his own way first. Falling into the Force, the man was reaching out to the temple and those around him. Nodding once, he stepped forward, a hand on his lightsaber.

As stated, he wasn’t looking too much like a Jedi, and that suited him. When he approached, he adjusted a bracelet, one of the items his Artisan apprentice had created to assist with Force healing. He knew he had his weak spots, and some imbued items were going to help bridge the gap. And keep him in line with other Jedi.

Location: Leaving the "Doomed Hope" for the Space Station
Objective: Speak with the Leader of Rendili

Tobias was rather interested in this meeting, reading the data-file while seated in his transport. Looking through the case on file that showed the history of the planet and what concerns that would arise from meeting. So far it seemed that the planet had no real problems with joining the Republic. Currently he was meeting with the Arch-Provost to see the retrofits for the new station turning it into a Naval Station for a New Republic Garrison. This would secure the system of pirates and terrorist as well as keep Republic Soldiers off the planets surface. With the long tension that was placed there by the One Sith and then being left alone by the Free Worlds Coalition for many years. It was safe to assume the planet preferred the protection by their own forces, but if they were to become a major industrial power for the New Republic, then the cost was having Republic Protection.

One of the attendants walked up, "Vice Chancellor, Arch-Provost Camellia Swift has asked to speak with those in charge of the operations, and it seems none of the military officials are responding to her hails," He bent over and whispered, "it seems none of the Generals are in the system at the moment."

Tobias sighed, it was just like High Command to push the political details of the mission onto him just as he was entering the system. "Thank you ma'am, have the transmission routed to my personal data-table and I will speak with her."

She nodded and walked to the front of the ship to talk with the pilots. It was not a minute later that message from [member="Camellia Swift"] was sent forward to the Vice Chancellor, "Apologies for the late response Arch-Provost, this is Vice Chancellor Tobias Dracks from the New Republic, I currently inbound to the Station for inspections, I would gladly take the time to speak with you as soon as I board."

Hannah, The Cog Girl
Location: Sarapin
Objective: Investigate Old Jedi Ruins

Bright red eyes peered carefully into the deep and great works of the ancient temple, the rather unimpressed expression grew a tad as Hannah realized that much of the old technology had underwent what she called "neglect". The fact alone that they had needed to invest time and resources to reinforce the Temple gave her cause for concern. The thought of walls or pillars crumbling did not bring any enthusiasm into her mind.

Her large tail swung haphazardly to either side, an occasional plum of dust and sand rose as her tail hit the floor beneath her as she walked along inside the Temple. A few moments later Hannah struggled with a decision before she finally returned back towards the entrance and over to one of the crates, her coat and jacket now laid expertly folded inside her locker (She grabbed on and claimed it as her own) and now with a content look she returned back to the temple.

Hannah now exposed the majority of her arms and top half to the extremes of any weather or danger, but at least she figured her new jacket and coat would not suffer. Such gifts in her mind should be protected and kept out of harms way. The her own body though displayed the extent of augmented cybernetics and with such little flesh left on her body's surface it almost appeared as if she was a droid more so than a living being of blood and soul.

Regardless, Hannah continued to stare intently into hallways and rooms yet unexplored and readied herself.

Location: Transport shuttle/Jedi Temple
Objective: Explore the Jedi Temple

Thane always hated arid worlds, having spent time on many during his wandering years. Yet here he was at the helm of one of the largest ships he had even seen, let alone commanded. So much inexperience, having been granted these positions of connections, rather than true experience, which he sought to rectify at any available chance.

But rather than remain on the bridge of the Republic ship, he instead was apart of the chartered expedition, taking a personal transport shuttle planetside. As the ramp lowered the officer was assaulted with dry heat. Today was not going to be a good day. Clothed in his Republic Uniform he bore an uncharacteristic silver coin displaying the heads of two wolves, a symbol of past service in the Iron Empire. Perhaps it was improper to wear such a token, but one should best not forget their origins.

Patting his meager blaster pistol, the officer stepped down and checked his surroundings, spotting where the others before him had traversed. Jedi, Sith, the Force, he held no opinion on any of them. Jedi were, obviously, preferable to Sith, but in the end it was a power and power is meant to used. And such feelings were also transplanted upon the temple. It was impressive, yes, but so is Coruscant if you take the time to consider the miracle that an entirely urban planet is. Wonders surrounded them, and this temple was no different.

Perhaps he'd find a knickknack in these ruins, but hopefully nothing worse. As he approached the others which gave their introductions he dusted off his uniform and gave one himself. "Captain Edward Thane of the Republic Navy, a pleasure." Thane spoke crisply, his face settled into a calm, straight-laced, demeanor.

Location: Ayrix Hangarbay
Objective: Explore the Jedi Temple

The finishing touches to the the preflight checks were about to end. A N-5 fighter was being prepared to launch from the hangarbay of the Ayrix, course set for the Jedi Temple down below. With the ship having arrived in the system forty-three minutes previously it was situated in high orbit of the planet below, with it's owner and single living member Ella Nova about to disembark to visit the temple on the planet's surface, leaving her ship in the hands of the skeletal crew of droids who kept her running on behalf of their master.

She had no recollection of what it was like to be a Jedi Knight. Having possessed the body of Ella Nova through the arcane ritual of Transfer Essence, Darth Ayra had eradicated the identity of the Jedi Knight with her own memories and history. It was almost as if she had never existed. But Ayra had dealt with enough Jedi over her life to know how to act like one, at least in a rudimentary way. There was an aura of False Light that surrounded the Sith Lord as she boarded the N-5 so as to maintain her cover. It would protect her from her true nature being felt by others.

After clearing with the bridge to disembark, Ella fired up the engines and shot out of the mouth of the Ayrix into space. Turning on a vector she begun to make her way towards the Jedi Temple that she had come to visit.

Alexandra Feanor

The Lady in Silver/Grey Historian
Location: Sarapin
Objective: Investigate Old Jedi Ruins
People In Area: [member="Inyari Yavek"] [member="Abigail Meredydd"] [member="Coren Starchaser"] [member="Alex StormWolf"] [member="Bekk Mag'ra"] (And anyone else that joins)

Alexandra had just gotten the results of the tests she was doing on the stone sample when the first arrivals had shown, a Zabrak she did not recognize being the first of many that seemed interested in their little Expedition. It drew her focus away from the datapad as he almost seemed too enamored in the place to notice Alexandra, but compensated and returned to the world around him. Alexandra was standing tehre smiling at him, a young, bright face that did not match the perception this young man might have of what the grandmaster would look like.

She did not blame anyone for the misinterpretation on her standing, she full well understood that it was unusual and her circumstances would probably lead only to scrutiny. Which now brought her eyes to focus on [member="Alex StormWolf"], a member of the Senate's personal force of force users. She wondered about his presence but was not surprised if it had been a personal interest in the Jedi returning to an old defunct temple.

It did not take long for the Jedi Grandmaster she had become familiar with to appear either, seeing Coren and giving him a smile and a nod as he went to inspect the doors of the temple, lighting a glowrod for when any that would join him were ready. It would be nice seeing those from her order travel with the former Alliance leader, and now leader of those in Exile.

It was about that time when two more faces showed, one that was familiar and caused her eyes to further soften as she looked at her student and daughter, Abigail. She was the one Alexandra spoke to first and with as light of a voice as ever.

"It would seem you ran into some issues?" She smiled, knowing about the escapades her child tended to get into.

She would have continued but the second of the two newest arrivals soon spoke.

"Welcome, also please call me-" Before she would finish, the Republic Agent spoke and she turned her eyes on him and listened, hearing his words and sighing a little at them. It was not strange or unusual for her to hear those words, knowing it would come up sooner or later.

"This goes for you as well, and all those here. Please address me as Historian if you must. Alexandra is also fine, or simply master." Alexandra detested the title Grandmaster, especially with the order small and not needing of such a position. It was useful around politicians, but not when there was something that required their attention, and a job they had to do. "We can talk as we walk though, Mr Stormwolf."

She had been unsure how to address the man but that felt like it was well enough.

It was as the others filled in that she was smiling and now had the chance to speak to everyone without needing to diverge into greetings and conversations quite yet. Two in particular interested her, those being the Republic Agent and the Togruta. While she wished she could oversee everything that would happen today, that was simply impossible. Moving as a singular entity would rob her members of the chance to better connect with the other Jedi of the Order.

They needed to find their own strength and their own weaknesses without her eyes watching over them like some parent.

"Welcome everyone, I am grateful for those who found their way here and interested to see where today's path leads you all. We will be exploring the ruins behind me, and past the large doors that shield the temple's inner workings from the outside. It is old and with many lost dangers, things left hidden and forgotten about. I would ask no one take this place lightly, and that if anything should prove to be worrying you reach out and contact those who may be able to better aid you. I will be shadowing each group in one way or another, so keep in mind that I will never be too far."

She paused, turning and walking to the doors of the temple, breathing in and out before her hand rose. For a few seconds nothing seemed to happen but then dust and stone shifted, the way openning to them and her hand dropping. She seemed exhausted as the doors opened, but soon regained her composure.

"I wish you all the best of luck in this expedition." Her eyes turned on [member="Inyari Yavek"]. "If you would not mind, I ask you join me, you have my curiosity." She smiled, and it showed no danger or worry to be held on Inyari's part. Alexandra was genuinely curious about the woman. Her eyes only then shifted to Abigail.

"Abigail, I ask you team up with another of the order. I cannot be everywhere and you are the easiest for me to track down. Understand?" She left out why Abigail was so easy to follow, but the young woman would know why so it need not be said.

Objective: B
Location: Rendili atmosphere
Gear: X-Wing | BB-4 | Flight Suit | Scout Blaster | Lightsaber
FJp1uVB.png

The youngling was still feeling a little out of his element.

The cockpit of the X-Wing felt longer than the Jedi starfighters he'd grown accustomed to. There seemed a large void of space past his feet. The illusion of spaciousness making him feel as though parts of the craft were further than his reach. He still wanted to refine and adjust how his booster seat was positioned, but identifying these issues was the whole point behind the familiarization flight.

A shudder seemed to reverberate through the fighter, prompting the boy to look up over the console at just where he was flying. The X-Wing was skimmer across the top of the radiation belts generated by Rendili's magnetosphere. The realization that the planet was beneath them gave the boy an idea for the next evolution in this flight.

"BeeBee, lock the S-foils and configure us for atmosphere," the boy said, even as he flipped a dials and switched that re-configured the trim of the wings. Then, easing back the throttle, the boy rotated the X-Wing down and over as he plunged down toward Rendili.

He eased the flight profile back into an angle of attack that was steep enough so not to bounce right off the atmosphere, but not so drastic as cause undue stress to the airframe. At this velocity, he'd need to do a couple of s-curves to help bleed off the inertia of re-entry. Otherwise, the X-Wing would be rocketing through the atmosphere at supersonic velocities, with the friction superheating the plating. That could be a good way to lose control and disintegrate if poorly executed.

Once he saw the clouds, he knew that he'd made it through the most dangerous part of re-entry. And still had positive control. Leveling out, the boy continued to apply braking thrusters to ease the forward momentum back from the hypersonic speed of before.

Coming down, beneath the clouds, the idyllic landscape of Rendili appeared in view as the boy swooped across the sky.

Easing the starfighter into a low, slow cruise, the boy relaxed back for a moment in which he could enjoy the flight.
