Abigail Hel Meredydd v2 (WIP, fixes, rewrites and images to follow later yada yada )

Old Biography Mess from 2018 (link)

GENERAL INFORMATION

NAME: Abigail Hel Meredydd
FACTION: N/A (Formerly: The New Republic)
ALIGNMENT: Neutral – Light Side
RANK: Gun for hire (Formerly: Jedi Padawan, Soldier)
SPECIES: Near Human
AGE: Early 20's
SEX: Female
HEIGHT: 1.73m
WEIGHT: 68kg
EYES: Brown
HAIR: Naturally white, but dyed brown
SKIN: Pale

FORCE SENSITIVE: Yes
Though Meredydd is Force sensitive, she has always struggled to keep that ability under control consistently. Instead, she claims to communicate with an 'entity' that is bound to her, which she described as an endless figure of energy. Abigail believes this entity is her link to the Force, and that it is the entity executing her will instead of her actually using the Force. Either way, under duress she struggles to keep the mental stability to use any Force related powers effectively.

TRAITS:
By Our Side (+)
With the entity watching over, Abigail is often bolstered and confident the two of them can handle whatever happens next.

By My Side (-)
Especially during more distressing moments, Abigail struggles to keep control of the Force, claiming the entity and her are fighting or in disagreement. This causes her Force connection to be unreliable at best in tougher moments, forcing her to rely on other things instead.

Military Trained (+)
Trained from a very young age with the intent to become a soldier, Abigail's learned her way around a blaster and hand to hand combat from quite a young age. Her military background makes it so she feels at most at home fighting alongside allies.

Military Trained (-)
As with most things, every advantage has a disadvantage. Having trained and lived as a soldier her entire life, she has trouble adjusting to other lifestyles. In times of peace or times where she does not have something to fight for, she tends to become lost within herself, unsure what to do or where to go.

Padawan Training (+)
Having spent some time training under the watchful eye of a Jedi Grandmaster, mainly focused on Force related lessons, she has some basic understanding about what it is to be a Jedi.

Dropout (-)
After the fall of her Order, Abigail abandoned those who were left, including her master, and never continued her training, leaving her with a very basic understanding only.

I See Things (+)
Through the Force, she is occasionally able to see more than her eyes allow. A second perspective, which she claims is 'his', can sometimes help her see things more clearly.

She's Insane, Isn't She? (-)
It's not unusual for Abigail to 'speak' to the entity openly, even when others are around. Having arguments with invisible and likely imaginary beings in public generally hasn't left a good impression on some people.

Disillusioned (-)
After having witnessed the fall of the New Republic and everything she fought for, she lost all stability and purpose in her life. When her family relocated and went for a peaceful life, Abigail cut all ties and disappeared. This lack of purpose has left her without a clear vision of where to go or what to do, leaving her more vulnerable for manipulation.

I Swear I Can Drive! (-)
She's probably able to keep a ship going in a straight line, but don't expect much more than that. Don't ask her to land. Or to take off. Or to do anything really.

BIOGRAPHY (Big work in process here - definitely 100% going to rewrite this soon...ish):

A Lost Girl
Abigail knows very little of her first couple of years. She was picked up off of the streets at roughly 6 years old, still far too young to be able to survive on her own. Not knowing what to do with her, local 'authorities' took her in. A good amount of years later, she started participating in a standard pre-trooper program they ran, preparing her for military training when she'd be a bit older.
Early on, it was noted the young girl spent a lot of her time talking to herself when nobody else was around. It wasn't given much thought until she started to get into arguments with herself. After multiple sessions with various adults, the young Abigail told them she had been talking to 'the ball of light', but that it was angry with her. When asked about this information later on, she refused to elaborate and only got upset if pressured. One day, she had an argument with one of her caretakers about this, causing a nearby vase to get launched towards the man. While Abigail claimed the entity of light had done it, it was quickly determined the child was actually force sensitive.
As she grew older, these 'accidents' started happening more frequently, with various items regularly being flung at people near her, and interestingly enough, sometimes these objects would even be flung towards herself.

Eventually, Abigail entered the standard trooper program, which she passed with relative easy. Without having anything else to occupy herself with, she completely devoted herself to her training and becoming the best fighter she possibly could be. The skill she displayed during the program resulted in a swift deployment after her graduation towards a rougher area and poorer area of the city, to keep things in check.

As the weeks, and months, went on, Abigail started to increasingly dislike her posting and role in the city. While she'd hoped for proper deployment to, what she had imaged in her head, save entire planets from oppression, instead she ended up guarding official building from citizens who 'disagreed' with the local authorities.

Eventually, she decided she'd had enough, and staged a plan to escape the planet in search for better opportunities. It took a lot of planning, but in the end she managed to escape together with a few others. What followed after was a period of exploration and curiosity as they explored the galaxy and tried to figure out what was next.

The New Republic
In time, Abigail found her home among the New Republic, where she was picked up by the lady acting as grand master at the time, who ended up becoming her master and guiding her through her first steps as a Padawan.
From that point on, she spent most of her time fighting for the New Republic, and during the rare more quiet times she returned to the grandmaster to continue her training.

Many battles and lessons later, it was discovered during her mission [finishing later : P]
For Abigail, it was a troubling revelation. On one hand, she'd learned details of her past she'd never expected to discover, yet on the other hand, she was the bastard child of her mentor.
Despite this revelation, she remained under her mentors study, although their relation was strained. Lessons and trainings became less frequent, and Abigail generally avoided spending too much time near her newly found family, greatly appreciating her time alone instead.
Yet it wasn't all bad either, and she ended up meeting a variety of nice people as a result of the extended family as well. It was a bit of a challenge to suddenly accept so many sisters, brothers and other family members, but in the end she grew to appreciate the company, especially that of her sister Beth.
And through all that time, the New Republic went on.
Abigail knew nothing lasted forever, but that didn't mean she was ready for things to end. When the New Republic was pushed back, and eventually fell, she found it difficult to deal with the reality of things. As the truth of it all started to set in, most former members packed things up and left, or fled, either to join others groups to continue their work, or they left for other adventures. In the chaos, her family pulled back from the major politics of the galaxy to live in peaceful obscurity, but Abigail couldn't accept to do so.
She struggled to move on from the Republic's fall, not knowing where to go next. She fell into a depression, through which her mastery of the Force started to deteriorate as well. She started falling back into arguments with the voice in her head more and more often, and her control of the Force she trained for for years was swiftly lost.
Disillusioned, Abigail cut ties with most of her remaining relatives and contacts, and chose to disappear completely, desperately starting a search for a new purpose, which she would not find for years to come.

Wandering [current]
Years later, Abigail ended up on the planet of Denon, working odd jobs to survive, but mostly focused on staying out of sight and out of mind. To be continued : )
