.:STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES::
+Easy Does It - Jerek grew up as one half of a twin pair, which lent itself to something of a split personality: his brother was confident and aggressive while Jerek was more cautious and passive. His method was honed and reinforced by events in his adolescence, making Jerek a contemplative type whose actions have great thought and purpose behind them.

+Not a Blond Joke - Jerek is actually quite intelligent and, in calm situations, has a keen analytical mind. He enjoys learning new things and developing his own techniques in addition to those taught by an instructor, pairing his own intelligence with natural creativity. The jokes could have more accurately described his twin brother, but no, not Jerek.

+Think Fast! - Jerek's quick reactions are essential to his skills as a fighter pilot, and they translate to other situations in his life. He tends to be a problem solver first, finding the best or fastest way to address issues in his life, and his natural intelligence and creativity lend themselves well to making this a snappy process.

+/-Got any Fizzyglug? - Jerek is addicted to drinking fizzyglug. Specifically Diet Fizzyglug, to the exclusion of most other beverages. It's a bit of an unhealthy obsession, though he finds great pleasure in the taste and texture of the effervescent beverage as well.

-I've Got a Blank Space - Loss has carried Jerek's momentum through much of his life, beginning with the death of his twin brother and carried on through masters and relationships that ended too soon. He has struggled with a lack of self-confidence and over-cautiousness, and has an occasional tendency to be paralyzed by indecision fueled by self-doubt.

-Impurrfect Ward - Jerek has responsibility for a Cathar youngling that he rescued from the Sith, and has since struggled to help guide the kit towards the lightside. They can sometimes be seen together, though often Jerek leaves Micah in the care of Jedi guardians more capable of tackling the immense programming the Sith instilled into him.

-Throw Caution to the Wind! - Jerek's unbalanced persona resulted in overreacting, becoming quick to anger and rash action in stressful situations as a means of compensating for his loss.

.:APPEARANCE::
Arguably, the first thing one tends to notice about the fair-skinned man is not his smooth facial features. Nor is it the freckles that dot his face and body, or his lean and tall build. Rather, it is his wild, blond hair. Reaching just past his shoulders, Jerek likes to keep his hair out of his hazel eyes, but isn't adverse to letting it down . Its natural straightness tends to keep his hair where he puts it, though one thin lock of hair tends to escape his efforts regardless. Lean and broad-chested, the man tends to stay clean-shaven, which lends him a youthful look. His body is fit, sporting toned musculature and a thin physique he's maintained since childhood. He stands nearly six feet tall, though he tries his best not to look imposing, nonetheless Jerek maintains a well-built figure as a young man.

.:BIOGRAPHY::
Jerek Zenduu was born as one half of a twin pair. His fraternal twin brother, Elias, was born roughly 45 minutes ahead of him, a traight that Elias held high above his younger twin's head throughout their childhood. Though born to an era of relatively uncertain peace, war quickly befell the galaxy, and their childhood was pitted with darkness. Nevertheless, the Zenduus managed to grow up in a life filled with typical childhood endeavors.

Yet life in the Outer Rim was unstable at the best of times, even in the most peaceful of galactic eras. It was on a small planet in the Outer Rim in which the Zenduu twins found themselves for their childhood, and there they spent the years until they were upon the cusp of eight years of age. It was then that Jerek and Elias' life would change irrevocably. Soon, the galaxy would learn that the event which appropriated Jerek's brother and father both was known as the Netherworld, a place that many disappeared to and few returned.

Though tested, as customary, by the Jedi when they were small, Jerek's parents refused to give up their boys. With the loss of her husband and one son, his mother made the heart wrenching choice to send Jerek to the Jedi to study and be safe from the perils of life on the frontier. Despite his screams of protest, Jerek was taken from the last vestiges of home that he had, and brought to the Jedi Academy on Ossus for training. Jerek struggled in his first few months at the Academy. The sudden transition from his home, the death of his father, being dragged from his mother and the loss of his twin brother weighed heavily on his heart. The Jedi's training was interesting, and while it appealed to Jerek's natural curiosity, the constant physical and mental exertion required by the Jedi Masters had a punishing effect on the already-battered child.

To make matters worse, Vul Abaan, the Academy's top student in Jerek's initiate class, was a bully who had set his sights on Jerek by the first few weeks. Spotting Jerek's intellect, Vul admonished him whenever possible, keeping Jerek feeling small. After several months, the boy's pent-up frustration had finally hit boiling point, and Jerek lashed out at Vul. The argument devolved into a full-fledged brawl. Despite his small size and his depression, Jerek nearly came out on top, only falling to Vul's blow as the Jedi Masters discovered their fight. Though punished severely by the Academy's masters, Jerek's attitude reformed and he became a worthy student. Jerek and Vul continued to be rivals, though on a much less dramatic scale, throughout Jerek's Academy years.

In order to funnel his newfound aggression, Jerek's teachers tried to find new outlets for Jerek. He became a proficient lightsaber practitioner, and adept at meditation, but the boy truly blossomed when he discovered flying. After several courses in a simulator, Jerek was allowed to try out piloting a real ship, an old freighter the Jedi used for transportation. With his fingers on the controls, free of anything tethering him to the ground, Jerek felt comfortable for the first time in a long time.

Soon Jerek began training on a Jedi starfighter, the J-1 class Interceptor, and once a Jedi Ace group was formed, he quickly volunteered.

Jerek soon found himself embroiled in a war that the Galactic Republic had been waging, and defending, against the One Sith. Diabolical and ruthless, the One Sith laid waste to planets along the Republic's coreward arm. Though he sometimes worked with the Silver Squadron of Jedi Aces, such as in a push to fend off an attack by the Hutt Cartel, Jerek largely stayed on the outskirts of the war, working with his Master, Beck, to bring the Republic's influence to worlds like Rhommamool and Saleucami. He also found himself working with other Jedi Masters, such as Corvus Raaf, to aid and explore existing Republic worlds.

Training with Beck, Jerek found his talents shifting toward the physical spectrum, focusing on lightsaber combat and his starfighter talents. He improved his skills in the lightsaber forms of Shii-Cho and Soresu, and began learning Beck's preferred form of Shien. He found a good working relationship with Beck, but never one that seemed to form a deeper bond of friendship or mentorship, remaining only polite and deferential.

Perhaps it was because of this that, when the Galactic Republic collapsed before the onslaught of the One Sith's final campaigns, Jerek and Beck parted ways. Jerek found his home in the Order of the Silver Jedi, within the Silver Sanctum Coalition. There, he found himself once more on the front lines, pushing forward the influence of the Coalition and its allies on worlds like Chandrila and even to far-flung regions beyond.

It was at one of these battlefields, orbiting the planet of Korriban, where Jerek witnessed the true horrors of the galaxy. A Jedi Admiral of the Silver Navy ordered an orbital bombardment of the planet below, committing genocide against millions of innocents. Shocked, Jerek found himself unable to return with the Silvers to their homeworld, and left the Order to wander on his own.

During the time Jerek spent on his own, he formed a squadron of likewise neutral or aligned starfighter pilots, most of them displaced from the Galactic Republic, the Raging Nexus. At one point, the Raging Nexus assisted a corporate fleet led by a Jedi Master, formerly of the Republic and Silver Orders, Sor-Jan Xantha. This began a working relationship that eventually led Jerek to the New Republic, and Blue Squadron.

The New Republic's Blue Squadron was a return to a normal, but not a normal that Jerek recognized much anymore. He aided in the defense of Wakeelmui and several other engagements, but eventually Jerek requested leave from Blue Squadron, which dissolved in his absence. He returned to a more Jedi focus, preferring to travel to aid in Jedi endeavors and similar business, working with the Jedi Academy Network as well as the disparate orders which had emerged in the wake of the Republic's collapse.

As the years passed by, Jerek has seen his own personal growth, at the cost of his confidence in the future of the galaxy. What happens next is all up to the Force.
