Today was finally the day!

The crowds were gathered to review the lots. This time, there were no large and colorful holograms depicting the items. Instead, there was merely a catagorty list with several lots underneath them.

The are was buzzing with activity. What would these lots contain? Would they be worth the risk of bidding? Several Mystery auctions ago it was proven that one could come out with something grand as a rare ship or as everyday as a pair of thongs.

Who knew!? That was the interesting and exciting adventure. The risk. The challange of bidding another for an item.

As it was, Aurum Saacs Banks was in charge of fund transfers and several security personsell from Shriek Hawks, Omega Pyre, and Dark Water Security were actively reviewing and confirming auction submissions and accepting deposits. Whatever would not have bids would be either returned to the owner or with permission, sold and the funds submitted to charity.

All in all, it was a great way to spend the next two days guessing just what might be behind the lots.

Sora had come for the mystery bids hoping to get some stuff for Clan Talus

10,000 credits on lot B and 15,000 credits on lot C

He would use his calculations Clan Talus would be fine to bump up the bids if need be.

Where was he when ships were being sold? He wasn't there. Why? He couldn't fly. Or at least, not too well. Not enough to warrant a spending trip. Instead, he held back his funds. He had a hunch, that something big was on the horizon, something he needed more than a couple pennies and a useless ship for. So with a hip to his step on what he imagined to be the final and closing days of this year's Bazaar, he came in with a stride, smoke machines glued to his back, freckles of light dancing in the swirling grey as he rode atop a poorly constructed throne of wheels, slaps of bronze metal and what was clearly wheelie bin's tyre's strapped to the bottom and a stick to propel and control the wild swings.

He couldn't see what was for sale, simply wandering through done narry any good, so instead, he took the chances, looked at what he had bid. And found that useless, since he bid for the earlier products more often than not. His first bidding stream led by Lot E and Lot F. Lot of good that would do, Technology was nice, but he didn't see it. The next bids, Lot N was all he went for and as before, Ship's weren't to do him much if any good. So. He was stuck with the Lot's M1 through M14. So he pulled out a very small net, some small knick-knack he grabbed while everyone gushed over the pretty starfighters and tossed it in front of him, pulling the comical chain back and staking his claims. Several, as his eyes grew wide with lust for spending and the gambit of the gamble raged. "20,000 Schmackos on Lot M1, Lot M5 and... Lot M14. It sound's tantalizing." He had a strong hunch M14 was going to kill him. OF course, if it was something force related, he was more than prepared to simply toss it away and beg it good riddance.

The mystery auction was something that she always looked forward to.. the anticipation of figuring out what it all was and what you might be able to get... THere was just one real problem... she always wanted to bid on everything which would include things that might have been offered. THe jedi master though. She coudl see some fo the bids coming in and had a look on her face. Reasonable and easy to handle the woman leaned back and was hopeful that she wouldn't end up bidding on her own items. Never as fun.

Why not gamble? He keyed the pad. He was still dressed in fine clothes this time, a grin on his face at the shock of those seeing him in work clothes. Apparently, one couldn't own and wear both in this business echelon.

"c30,000 on Lot Q.
A pick of any item from the CEC offerings for Lot A.
3% share in CEC for Lot M11. "

Sending the missive, he sat back and sipped a drink that looked rather like a Tattooine sunrise and smiled. Business was done. Now for fun.

Lot M12 - Knowledge of the Force Technique known as 'Inertia' from a Master of the technique.
Lot M6 - c1,000

Julius had come at the invitation of his brother, Cal, but had remained mostly silent and observant during the auction. He was dressed in green robes of a Jedi of his order, and nodded to his brother, tipping a glass of neat Corellian whiskey his way. He wasn't a rich man, but M12 intrigued him. And M6 was just a gamblers impulse.

Well, well, well. He had been most fortunate with his acquisitions during the last auction, now to see whether or not his luck would hold up.

"5000 credits each for Lot I, Lot K, Lot M6, Lot M8, and Lot M13." That should guarantee him at least a few fun surprises, but there was something far more intriguing up for bidding. Lot M12. By the sound of it, it had to be Force related. It's too bad he really didn't have anything worthwhile to trade for it; perhaps if no one else came up with anything, he would be able to acquire it by trading a few transcripts of dark rituals.

Velok finished entering the bids and sat back happily. Copy/paste was simply the best datapad function when you had three gigantic clawed fingers per hand.

Cim wasn’t a huge fan of mystery actions, but she needed ships for The Black Bha’lir, and the Anzati caught wind of an Arceneau Trade company one happening upon on the Narayana Galactic Trade Station. Dumping the rest of her loot from the Korbin kyrf plantations into this would hopefully be more fruitful than those stupid wine trees that the First Order now had in their possession.

With a sigh, she realized she’d easily be outbid on the vessels though. Time for a bit of gambling then. With plenty of stock left hopefully she’d return to Maramere with something useful.

“30,000 on Lot L, 5,000 a piece on Lot F and Lot G, 5,000 a piece on Lot M3 and M4.”

Runi Verin

Two pounds shy of a bomb.
In her experience, auctions were normally reserved for those with too many credits on their hands. A quandry that, for once in her life, Runi Verin found herself sharing thanks to her recent business ventures. With the recent string of skirmishes and conflicts cropping up, the salvage game was booming, to say nothing for the freight opportunities for those willing to run close to potentially active war zones.

Maybe it was time to broaden her horizons further.

Incoming Bid

Lot M7 - 10,000 Credits or equivalent currency.
Lot M12 - Expert Force Knowledge of the Shift Sense & Knight Level Force Track techniques. ([member="Julius Sedaire"])

Scherezade had tagged along [member="Cim Salro"] to the mystery auction. The mere notion was strange to her, and she wanted to take a good look. She'd yet to tap into the credits she was eligible to by the Confederacy, but today would mostly be a day of learning so that she could come better prepared for the next auction. "So, like," she asked the Smuggler Queen, "how do you know you're not offering a lot of creds for a piece of parchment and a glitter covered pen you could get for half a credit on almost any planet?" She thought for another moment. "What are the odds any of these things are bombs?"

Standing beside [member="Cim Salro"] and [member="Scherezade deWinter"] was Darth Metus. It had been a long time since he burned a stupid amount of credits on anything, so there was no time like the present.

"That's the whole idea, Pebble. High risk, possible bullchit reward."

With that said, he continued flipping through his datapad, eyeing the other lots.

Aedan sat toying with the drink in his hand as he watched the bids coming in his eyes on only one section of lots nodding his head he finally started to add his own bids to them.

"There's also not a Darkside karkfest happening in my face this time, but fair enough Scherezade, fair enough." he said with a chuckle. Then, he tuned into a thrilling episode of: How much money can I make them waste?

Lot B: 30,000 credits + Permission to mine Cortosis on Katanos VII for one year.
Lot C: 40,000 credits + Permission to acquire Stygium from Maramere for three months.
