Avalore Eden
If there be light...
Avalore shook her head fervently.
"I don't want it."
I don't want anything to do with it. Toss me in the background where I don't affect anyone but my patients. Forget about me on the sidelines during battles. Leave me at the infirmary where no one but the injured and sick will think of me. But do not, under any circumstance, put me on a pedestal. I'll fall right on my face. In front of everyone.
Still looking at her hands, the Healer peeked up at her former Master's ghost with a wane smile for her kind words, as a sort of silent thank you and acknowledgement of her support.
"But... I do want to be more useful. I can't do it through fighting, but maybe I can in other ways. What do you think Di?" this time she looked back up, curious of Diana's opinion on the matter. She hadn't had anyone to speak to about these concerns, and Avalore realized how nice it was to finally voice them.
