Prophet of Bogan

Amidst the systems lingering on the edge of the Outer Rim, there are many secrets to be found. Hidden treasures, vessels, even entire worlds that have all managed to remain a mystery to the galaxy at large either through sheer inaccessibility or simple loss of knowledge. Most commonly though, if one were to journey to the very edges of known space, one would come across ancient and lost stations of one form or another. The Sith Order, given their position in the Galaxy, had plenty of abandoned and archaic ruins littering the edges of their realm. Most were simply scrapped and the material recycled into new stations or ships, and yet there were some that were deemed valuable in some manner and as such became a place of research and study.
Aether Station was one such relic, evidently having once been home to some long lost Sith splinter group and therefore worthy of further investigation. It had been nearly three months since the station last transmitted to the wider Sith Order, and as such a mission was dispatched to uncover the reason for the silence.
"Aether Station is in sight, no sign of activity or response to our transmissions yet Knight Inquisitor." The crew aboard one of the three Shikkar-Class corvettes that had been assigned to this mission glanced at their masked overseer as he heard the report. "Then we have only one option. Alert the other ships and crews, ready the shuttles to board and have fighters begin patrols around the station. We'll have to investigate this matter directly it seems." Alisteri's order was quickly put into action as he made his way off of the bridge and towards the hangar of the corvette.
Soon enough the corvettes were releasing their smaller ships, all of them speeding towards the station as the corvettes adopted positions around it to guard against possible ambushes or outside intervention. The shuttles of the Inquisition entered into a deserted hangar, empty of ships and personnel as well as battle damage. The shuttles landed and soon enough their ramps and doors were lowering and opening to unleash their Inquisitors and soldiers. Alisteri stepped out onto the hangar's floor and glanced around at the seemingly pristine hangar around them. "I have a bad feeling about this..."
