- Omnidirectional: Designed to be a powerful barricade that doesn't let anything through whihc means it will block both ways keeping the ones who placed it from going through just as much as the ones they are trying to stop.
- Built in power source: Designed with its own internal power source that is long lasting but it is largely able to power the armor and systems of the vehicle but when damaged it is highly explosive.
Designed to be a smaller more portable version of the Yuánshuài Class Barriers which are made for locking down areas in cities, facilities and ships but take time to carry around and are not as practical. The shield gates are more portable, have a smaller area of coverage but they are also able to carry several for themselves. The atrisian engineers have worked hard to improve the design with a stronger power source that is smaller and the telescopic arms that deploy from it allow it to cover most vents and doorways. Even in some cases windows depending on the size of them. Additional changes to it improve the ability to use it with a soldiers chevron or interface being keyed to each gate so they can control it and other cannot without slicing into it.
