ADVANCED SYSTEMS
STRENGTHS
  • Starfighters: The Seacole relies heavily on its starfighters to defend itself and keep those who would wish the medical station harm at bay.
  • Defense: A series of shields, coupled with its hull plating system give the Seacole a very high rated defense.
WEAKNESSES
  • No Guns: The medical station has no weapons onboard leaving it unable to return fire
  • Speed: The station has a very low-speed rating, with its low maneuverability and no hyperdrive leaves it as a sitting duck.
DESCRIPTION

The development of the Seacole began as the First Order started to regain its footing within the galaxy. The purpose of the station was to not only be a medical station it was to replace the old Windsor-class medical stations, but exceed what the Windsor had been able to accomplish. The Seacoles serve as level one trauma centers within their respective sectors. Additionally, they serve to ensure medical care to those who need it, and when they need it.

Seacoles also act as an emergency operations command center, with the ability to respond to mass casualty events at a moment’s notice. They house firefighter units, paramedics and typically have law enforcement officials on hand to help keep the station safe. The medical stations also house starfighter wings for patrol and defense purposes. No guns, but the Seacole-class station can rely on their starfighters for defense.

The First Order is set to begin production on the medical stations in late 862 ABY, with the first set of stations to be opened in 864 ABY.
