This allows the shield to regenerate faster, giving it a high rate of longevity when compared to standard deflector shields. The longer the battle goes on the more damage is able to slip through or bleedthrough to the hull. Meaning no two abilities can be activated at the same time, let alone all three. Any attempts that this will disable the shield completely due to an overload. [/SIZE]

[SIZE=10.5pt]A long-awaited project, the Semira Shield System was finally able to receive its upgrades. Additional power converters, conduits, and capacitors (oh my!) were worked into the system granting it a robust regenerative network. Add-Ons were redesigned and implemented to give crews the ability to choose when to deploy or activate abilities. Abilities by default, are [/SIZE][SIZE=10.5pt]disabled [/SIZE][SIZE=10.5pt]and must be enabled (written out) by the crew. Each ability has its own duration and cooldown so the moment of implementation must be chosen wisely. [/SIZE]

[SIZE=10.5pt]Add-Ons can only be activated one at a time, attempts to activate two at once will result in a disabled shield rendering the ship vulnerable to all types of weapons fire. When activated the Molecular Add-On draws on the shield to the extreme, enabling the safeguard to endure a variety of energy attacks. At the cost, though, of being quite vulnerable to kinetic weaponry. A Self-Boost was also worked into the upgraded shield system, allowing the shield to boost itself in combat up to three times within any given battle, which is more than enough most would say.[/SIZE]
