- One and Done: While effective for a few seconds the power crystal within the grenade is expended quickly. The rylith crystal allows recharging over time but it can take several hours with ambient light or never being able to charge without sunlight.
Designed by Saotome for soldiers in the field as a means to get protection quickly for a brief moment. THe shield grenade is a renewable charge but it expends all of its charge with one use which is the main thing. You aren't going to be able to pop this off all fo the time and it like the gravity and pheromone grenades are set up with timing and purpose going for their deployment instead of spamming. The time the shield is able to last at a maximum is ten seconds just long enough normally to block an attack or figure out a way to escape the situation.
