Elias always found it difficult to host. He was a friendly man, easy to get along with. Sliding from one social scene to the next was something he was good at, but it also made him difficult to pin down for those who may seek his attention. For that reason, he planted himself in the Zeffo tower that served as the enclave’s archives and vault.

It wasn’t the most central location, buts it stood high above the flattened burrows of the enclave and boasted enough room to house several dozen Knights and Masters. Elias waited for them to arrive, modestly eager to meet them and see to their needs. He was deeply proud of what the enclave had become and was honored to share Bogano with the NJO.

As he wandered the chambers, he came across a fellow Jedi who seemed contented by a cup of tea offered by the roaming archivist droids. Elias crossed over to greet him.

Welcome to Bogano,” the Master said warmly.

I’m Elias Edo. It’s a pleasure to have you here with us.

His eyes looked from the man to the amenities and resources around them.

Is there anything you need? Anything I can get for you, or questions I can answer?

Iris stepped back, smiling faintly. Cailen hadn't bothered to answer her question, probably because of the sudden influx of people. Many of whom she didn't know. Padawans, all around. Though, she did raise a brow as she glanced to Silas. Only gave him a simple looking smile before she turned to start heading into the water.

"I'll see you on the other side."

Then she was off. Crowds were much too blinding.

Bogano was a peculiar little planet. A relatively recent addition to modern history, at least on the grand scale of the galactic timeline. But one with much deeper roots than most, given the remnants of Zeffo civilization that remained to this day. In tandem with its otherwise unassuming nature, Bogano seemed a natural station for a Jedi outpost. It was no surprise there was one already here, or that they had remained disconnected for so long. But with war on the horizon, and the galaxy teetering on the precipice of chaos yet again, a rallying cry has brought more and more Jedi to mutual cause.

As Chief Healer and councilor, Amani was an expected representative of the New Jedi Order, and by extension Jedi as a whole. With a few other councilors indisposed elsewhere, she took up the reins of engaging with the more official meetings taking place today. Mingling with fellow knights and masters of both the NJO and the Enclave almost reminded her more of the many political venues she had participated in on behalf of House Organa; Albeit with less snide whisperings and less two-faced transactions. Among Jedi, at least, she could trust they all were more or less advocating for a greater good. Even if denominations differed in strategy.

Amani meandered slowly through the gathering, musing on the Enclave itself, and the subtleties of the interactions around her. Ironically, she seemed one of the few here not already in the midst of a conversation.

Amidst the gathering of Jedi on the mesas of Bogano, two Jedi, Valin and Tirin, approached Pryce. Their differences in demeanor and appearance immediately stood out.

Valin, exuding boundless energy and wearing a warm, infectious smile, practically radiated enthusiasm as he made his way toward the Jedi Master. His steps were light, and his demeanor was inviting as he extended a hand toward Pryce.

"Well if it isn't the fabled Master Pryce; I've heard so much about you!" Valin greeted with genuine warmth, his excitement palpable. "Hope you don't mind the company."

Tirin, in stark contrast to Valin's exuberance, displayed a composed and reserved demeanor. His soft features and calm, disciplined posture reflected a deep sense of respect and restraint. Tirin approached Pryce with a respectful bow of his head and a more measured tone.

"Master Pryce," Tirin greeted with a gentle, demure sweetness, his voice steady and composed. "How have you been?" He followed with a more formal tone, alluding to the purpose of their visit. "I've heard that you might have some interest in a tour of a small planetoid; I would be more than happy to lead you there and rendezvous for clandestine reasons that might alleviate and satiate your scholarly interests ."

Valin positioned himself to Gabriel's left, his excitement evident in every movement, while Tirin stood to his right, radiating an air of subtle kindness. The taller Valin seemed ready to follow along after Tirin, his appearance resembling that of a pirate, while Tirin, dressed like a casually dressed diplomat, embodied a calm and refined presence. Together, they presented a unique contrast to the traditional image of Jedi, defying expectations with their distinctive personalities and appearances.

"Thank you Master Edo. Your invitation was well received at the temple on Coruscant."

Trapped. The three Jedi had cornered him in a joint assault, cutting him off from any potential support. He smiled through the awkward at Elias and shook hands as they were offered. He sipped his tea and nodded to the woman, trying to place where he knew her from. He'd looked her up in the Jedi database after his meeting with Padawan Braze and the name was on the tip of his tongue.

"Master...Raene?" He didn't dig into the details of her suggestion but nodded. "I don't know how good the timing is with this Mandalorian business but...Yes. I would like to see that world."

She'd offer a meek wave, an acknowledgement of presence, then shifted her focus back to the inky depths before them.

Probably for the best, seeing as Eloise was less than happy about being in a group with Loomi. Despite having no significant direct interactions with her, she had already developed a negative opinion of the bug girl. To her Loomi's cutesiness was grating and overdone, an obvious front for cowardice and weakness, yet everyone seemed to fawn over her like she was some precious thing to be protected. It was nauseating.

Meanwhile, Albrecht found himself pushed toward Ikenna Tahj Ikenna Tahj by the Knight in charge. "Hello," he said. "It seems we're... partners. Have you ever done this before?"

"D-do we start?"

Eloise didn't wait for Ilo Aduni Ilo Aduni 's confirmation. As soon as she was suited up, she dove into the water and began to swim as if she were a fish, easily navigating the underground caves. Clearly she had experience.

Ko struggled some to see much past the surface. Unable to peer into the tunnels created by the local creatures. He sensed a disturbance however, something was around the ground beneath him. The Kel Dor padawan knelt himself down before placing his leathery palm against the soft ground. He took a few deep breaths, trying to calm himself and achieve a more calm state. Trying to not let his personal concerns cloud him ‘vision’.

When he made contact with the earth below him he communicated with it through The Force and listened to it in return. As he did Ko began to ‘see’ under the surface, observing the Bogling tunnels stretch down and around him. Getting the vague idea of where some of the bouncy creatures were within it.

However, he noticed something by what seemed to be a hollowed out chamber under the ground. Ko tried to focus more on it, sensing some turmoil. Gradually gaining a clearer picture of what it was. It was a small nest full of infant Boglings, stuck from a tiny cave-in at the entrance of their nest. The older creatures try to reach them from the tunnels. Desperately trying to claw their way back to their babies.

Ko took a few more breaths and reached in with The Force, using his abilities in Earth Shaping to carefully clear the small blockage within their tunnel without making things worse. Delicately allowing the Boglings to reconnect with their babies and trying to reinforce the walls of their chamber to prevent such an occurrence from happening again.

Despite only moving a bit of soil Ko felt a little winded from his effort. Not from the power needed, but the surgical precision needed to keep things from getting worse. But Ko could sense the turmoil and concern from the Boglings melt away now that they could reconnect with their children. Which could allow the padawan outdoorsmen to feel pleased with himself.

Days Earlier...

"Koschei fethed up..." Lynda, Demon of Jedi growled, clad in her favorite White Dress and heels, as she showed Nathan and Syd Celsius Syd Celsius the reports shown to her from a very small spy droid within the temple security force while reclined in her seat in the main hold of her J-Type 327 Nubian .

"Well, there goes any hope we had of trying to make a deal with the Jedi..." Lynda lamented. "Our one bridge, and it's completely smashed."

"What did you expect?! You placed her in an impossible position." Nathan snapped coldly. "She was already having doubts. Already torn between Nature and Nurture. She was bound to be discovered. Taking herself out of the equation takes massive levels of pressure off her emotionally and puts the Onus squarely back on us."

"We can't afford her to stay amongst them now. When she was in good standing, we might have had a shot at bridging the gap. We could have offered the knowledge we have on House Io with better footing. But if they manage to extract what she knows so far? The act of having to extract the knowledge alone will make them hostile to anything we have to say."

"Unless you come forward..." Syd offered in suggestion.

"Not happening. They will kill everything we are doing in the crib if I come forward." Nathan said crossly, rising.

"And I am tired of having my hands tied when it comes to doing what I need to do..." He trailed a moment, thinking, before turning to them.

"We extract her ourselves."

Syd raised an eyebrow, her gorgeous features instinctively revolted him.

"You want to break into a facility controlled by your bosses...and extract someone they have under House Arrest."

"If they ever discover your role, you will likely be exiled, if not imprisoned." Lynda pointed out.

"They can bill me." Nathan replied. "But after the wretched Cult is dead. We can't send you, Lynda. I don't want them having any evidence an Android was involved.

"So who do we send?" Lynda asked.

Nathan looked at Syd.

"You'll do. There's gotta be someone swimming around in that fethed up skull of yours who can get the job done. Someone who will not ring any bells. Not immediately."

Syd folded her arms. "Tall Order."

"Compared to what?" Nathan asked.

Syd sighed. "Point Taken."

"Your Mother shouldn't have involved a Padawan. I was against her and Koschei's involvement from the start. Though I suppose Koschei might be useful seeing how he's been exiled...think we could get to him?" Nathan asked.

"Oh, now you don't want to just break Jedi Law, you wanna break actual Law. Are you sure you're not your daughter's father?" Lynda asked.

"That's not funny." he replied coldly. "What do you suggest?"

"We could get Vera to represent him in court. He's all but guaranteed to get released if she's his attorney."

"How the feth can Vera get Koschei off on an Assault Charge? A blatant one with evidence and witness testimony?" Syd asked.

Lynda scowled despising the very sight of the woman who had so thoroughly destroyed the life of the once brave and heroic woman she had once fought side by side with at Atrisia. "My Sister has enabled some of the most ruthlessly cruel murderers, schemers, embezzler's, you name it, to walk out of that courtroom free. She's so good at it sometimes the Government will pay her not to represent a client. Fethin' Sociopath actually holds bidding parties over it!"

"If she's so good then we can't send her, because then someone will wonder why the hell one of the Core's top lawyers is representing him." Nathan pointed out.

Lynda shrugged.

"Then we get him some average lawyer getting specific instructions from her through proxy. It'll all work out." she answered back. "Maxim won't do more than a month in cell, tops."

But will Maxim agree to it?" Syd asked, shrinking from Lynda's withering, bloodshot gaze.

"I think he will. He looks out for his student..." Lynda admitted. Besides, now that it's known they are vampires, they need to go underground.

"At least we know now the Order isn't going to do anything but detain Vampires or Imprison them." Nathan pointed out.

Lynda stared. "You're working with us. When they learn that, they'll look at you like you're a psychopath."

"That will be their choice. I know what I am.. I'll let them burn my entire fortune if they want. But after..." he snapped back. "I will make arrangements for exterior extraction. Lynda, get a message to her however you can. But make it clear the instructions must be followed exactly. As for you..." he said, switching a cold gaze to Celsius.

"Your timing must be flawless."

That was all he said before he left the main hold to curse quietly in private at his situation.

"Can you do it?" Lynda asked Syd.

"Breaking some kid out of a Jedi temple while under House Arrest will be one of the least insane things I've done."

"I can attest to that." Lynda replied in a sneer, as revolted by the sight of her as Nathan was, despite her nearly impossibly beautiful appearance.

Syd said nothing at first and then in the blink of an eye her hand was around Lynda's throat, the other conjuring a fireball. Lynda hissed, bearing her metallic black fangs, as her own hand clamped down on Syd's throat.

"What makes you think I have to tolerate your mouth the way I'm willing to tolerate his?" Syd asked. "Everyone has an ignition temperature. Everyone. Including you."

"Schutta, in case you didn't notice, I've been burning for a while now..." Lynda hissed back, beastly strength tightening her grip ever so slightly around Syd's windpipe.

Syd narrowed her eyes.

"Maybe. But I burned first. Remember that. And I've burned longer..."

"Enough of this..." Nathan snapped as he walked back into the hold, having heard the commotion.

"Celsius, release her." he ordered tersely.

"As you wish..." Syd replied, letting go of Lynda's throat.

Lynda began to lunge at Syd, a lion like roar escaping her throat as the pounce took shape.

"Lynda!" Nathan shouted. "Come to your senses!"

Lynda stopped herself, muscles uncoiling from attack position, but she didn't take her eye off Syd.

"When this thing with the Cult is settled, I will finish what you started on this ship. That is, if Nathan doesn't kill you first." The Demon of Jedha vowed.

Syd's reply sent a chill into even the Demon however, though she hid how it unsettled her behind a mask of blazing hatred on her face.

"You got a real pretty face, Lynda. I'm sure it'll look good on me." Syd replied just as coldly before walking away.

"Insolent Hag! Your thought energy is mine, you hear me? MINE!" Lynda yelled, about to lunge at her again only to be physically blocked from reaching Syd, all while pointing angrily in the direction of the person she wanted to kill.

"COOL IT." Nathan ordered, physically shoving Lynda back onto the couch.

Lynda got control of her temper but she still wanted to crush Syd's skull...

Present...

The Jedi temple loomed in the distance as Lyli Dragi watched from a nearby roof top. A lot of the real powerful types had up and left but that was no reason to get careless. She was, after all, breaking into the fethin' temple of Coruscant.

The small, stealthed Spy Droid had given a good feed of Thelma Goth Thelma Goth 's routes. Strict escort to classes. It's scans had even given a mild layout of the temple itself.

Her suit would hide her presence, for the most part. Someone was paying good money to Lyli to get Thelma out. Her biggest payday yet.

Who had hired her? When had she been hired, and on what planet? Lyli tried to recall it but was too busy as she got on her speeder bike and sped to the temple, obeying all traffic laws.

This was risky. So risky she hadn't even dared bring any weapons with her, to reduce the risk of hurting or killing a Jedi. Her employers had been emphatic on that. Strictly painless, non lethal measures. With what she was being paid, Lyli would adhere to the very letter of that stipulation.

The plan was simple. At least, as simple as it could be.

She had spent the night before carefully setting up distractions. Noise based devices and remote hacking tools that could send local systems haywire in the temple. A spy droid the size of a golf ball had used a laser drilling tool to cut in to the local ray shield network. But the extraction would still have to be done by Lyli herself...

Thelma's role was to stay in the bathroom, and use the lightsaber shoto the spy droid had smuggled in through the vents to cut a hole into another room that had proper access to a passage leading an emergency service tunnel that led close to the sublevels of the temple itself, close to waste disposal.

Lyli would still be required to momentarily hassle the ones guarding her, because they would surely hear the wall being cut into.

She was very close to the temple now, and set her speeder bike on auto pilot. Thelma should be nearing the restroom. She would find a simple mini beacon to activate in addition to the shoto. That would be the signal for Lyli to begin her own part in this...

Thelma entered the 'fresher and paused before the mirror. Her reflection was haggard from lack of sleep and worry.

It was not good to live a lie. She knew that now. Her secret had become a burden to everyone involved. Where she had hoped for understanding, she had received none. If anything, revealing her secret had only made them see her as more of a monster than if she had always been truthful about what she was.

Now she had no choice but to rely on the help of the Progenitor to escape. Lynda had been in contact with her, telling her the plan, but it would not be Lynda who came to her rescue. Instead, a woman named Lyli Dragi was supposed to extract her.

She turned on the sink, letting the water run while she opened the vent. Thelma had surrendered her lightsaber to the Council in hopes of leaving the Order peacefully, but they had put her under arrest and confiscated the weapon. Her rescuer had provided a shoto for her to use, though she had no intention of harming or killing anyone on her way out of here. It would be used strictly as a tool.

She activated the beacon, as instructed, notifying Lyli that the escape had begun. Waiting a few seconds, she activated the shoto and began to cut through the wall...

Tirin couldn't help but smile softly as he listened to Pryce's response. "Oh, I'm sure we can find the time somewhere," he purred in a demure tone, his excitement palpable. The prospect of exploring such a unique location had him practically vibrating with anticipation.

Turning his soft violet-colored eyes toward Elias Edo, Tirin's smile brightened as he expressed his gratitude. "Thank you ever so much for inviting us here so welcomingly," he said politely. "This is a very charming place, and I am excited to have the honor of experiencing it with good friends."

Tirin's polite and cordial manner reflected his composed nature, as he also briefly considered if his two padawans were enjoying this little trip.

Meanwhile, Valin was happily helping himself to more than his fair share of treats that were set out. His enthusiasm for the occasion was evident as he wolfed down the more savory bits he could find. Despite the massive electrical scar across his face, he displayed no shyness or reserve. His good eye fell upon Amani Serys, and a wry grin spread across his features. The snowy-haired Jedi, with his mechanical arm, adjusted it with a few taps to his shoulder and audible clicks before padding toward Amani.

With a tray of treats in hand, Valin held it out to her with a playful tone. "Care for a bite~?" His friendly and approachable demeanor made it clear that he was eager to engage with his fellow Jedi and make the most of their time together.

Lyli waited on the bike, putting on a Repulsor belt. Then she got the signal from Thelma Goth Thelma Goth .

"Time to go to work..." she said.

A pity she couldn't kill anyone...

Lyli set off the noise traps she and that little spy drone had spent the night setting up all around the temple. Loud, high pitched whines and fire cracker sounds that would carry for dozens upon dozens of meters around and inside the temple, drawing the curious. Force fields turned on as soon as they passed through.

Lyli was dropping from above, landed softly on one of the temple balconies and quietly snuck past two Jedi Knights, her all red combat leotard with matching gloves and boots enchanted to hide her presence. How it got enchanted, Lyli could not actually recall.

She crept quietly to where Thelma was, amazed at how relatively empty the passages in the temple were.

She sneered internally at how peaceful it looked. How un-lived in.

This only confirmed it for her...they were completely out of touch with the world around them.

At least this Padawan had finally wised up. Lyli didn't blame her for wanting out.

Lyli had to creep very quietly in a room where an elderly Jedi Master meditated, and she froze and ducked behind a curtain because, excellent though her suit was at reducing her presence in the Force, it still could not hide her completely.

The Master, a red skinned Zabrak twitched, craned his head to where he had felt an extremely faint disturbance in the Force...only for all the noise traps to start going off in another direction that drew his attention, and he immediately went to investigate.

A lot of people noticed that when your intention wasn't actually violence, your chances of getting in and out of a temple controlled by them actually went up. It was oddly fitting: The best way past a Jedi's vigilance was the most passive, indirect methods possible.

Lyli at last saw the Restroom where two Jedi stood guard. A noise trap went off, and one of them went to investigate in the opposite direction.

Lyli strode out into full view, smiling, hands behind her back after the first Jedi was a good distance away, and the Laser field had turned on behind him to his surprise.

"Hiya..." she cooed seductively at the remaining knight, who instantly drew his lightsaber when he saw the malice in her eyes, before her hands shot out, spewing laser like blasts of gray flames that did no damage, but acted as a form of Force Stasis, heavily slowing him down.

Lyli danced the robot dance in front of him as they struggled to move, then hauled ass as the effect ended and he gave chase, the Force fields turning on behind him so he couldn't get back to Thelma...

Thelma could hear the alarms and noises going off even through the noise of the water and the shoto. She didn't pause in her work, continuing to cut through the wall of the 'fresher.

Eventually she was able to make a decent sized hole. She ducked through, taking care not to singe her dress on the molten edges, and found herself in another room. Thankfully it was empty. Just as Lynda had said, it was an access point for an emergency service tunnel. Once she opened the door to the passage, it would most likely trigger the alarms. Unless Lyli had that covered as well...

There was no time to waste. Thelma opened the door and started running down the tunnel. The further she went, the worse it started to smell. Lynda had mentioned that she would be running close to waste disposal. Perhaps there was a leak? She covered her mouth and nose with her sleeve and kept moving.

Lyli ran for her life, using her own skill in the Force to parkour over obstacles, even as the Jedi tried to use telekinesis to create more traps for her to bound over. She ran, baseball-slid, somersaulted over them, displaying the grace of her athletic figure.

She was nearing the spot where she had to disappear.

She concentrated, and spewed a gout of pink flames on the floor and jumped into it. The pink flames, like the gray ones she had conjured, didn't actually kill, but allowed her to phase through the floor to the level below just as a laser field activated in front of the Jedi who had been chasing her. The flames vanished as soon as she leapt through.

Lyli landed in what looked like a repair shop for the the generators in the temple and didn't dare stop. A general alert sounded and she ducked behind a work bench as three knights went running past her in the direction opposite of where she was going. She waited, then broke into a run down another passage, heading to the rendezvous spot in waste disposal. Now the temple security Force was going nuts, trying to clear out the rooms behind her for the threat, rapidly locking down checkpoints and routes that would have led to the hangars or emergency exits. Even with this plan, it wouldn't be long before the security Force was trying to lock down even the section Thelma was fleeing to. She had to get to where Thelma should currently be ahead of them.

This was one hell of a test for Lyli.

Lyli grabbed a robe off a coat rack and threw it on to look more like a Jedi as she moved calmly in the open with her hood on as she moved past the temple security units. She pretended to move with a unit but veered off back onto her own route through a maintenance section and it started to smell. That's when she finally sensed Thelma on the other side, took off her robe and unleashed a blast of purple flame on the wall and leapt through, running right into Thelma. Lynda's machine brain had timed it expertly.

"Hey kid..." Lyli muttered. "I'm your ticket out. Let's go. Follow me. You...okay?"

Cailen nodded, added a warm smile in case they couldn’t tell if he agreed.

He was still nervous about the darkness, even traveling in a pack like this, but having his closest friends by his side made it feel far less intimidating.

Let’s go together,” he said, looking to Loomi before glancing around at the others.

Ilo Aduni Ilo Aduni was very eager to be off. Cailen wondered if she’d done this sort of thing before, or if she just liked the thought of exploring submerged tunnels. She’d easily make the group leader, second to the elder Jedi who’d come to guide them.

I uh- guess I’m ready when you are.

Iris Arani Iris Arani wasted precious time diving in though, taking point into inky water. He shuddered, but turned his focus to some of the other Padawans.

Maybe if he chatted them up, his nerves would forget about the water?

His eyes caught the coweled Ikenna Tahj Ikenna Tahj nearby. Cailen waved in his direction, encouraging him to join the group.

I’m Cailen,” the Padawan said.

Do you want to join us?

A figure suddenly appeared in front of Thelma, dressed in Jedi robes. She halted in her tracks, gazing warily at them until they spoke.

"Hey kid..." Lyli muttered. "I'm your ticket out. Let's go. Follow me. You... okay?"

Thelma hesitated. "I am uninjured," she replied with a nod. "Thank you for your help. But now we must hurry." She could hear footsteps far behind her in the tunnel, getting steadily closer...

Concealed caves usually yielded something fun. Whether it was some creature to fight or an amazing discovery, they were always a good place to look. Fortunately, Justice knew where he was taking the padawan… this time.

Much of the workshop Endo Cordova had occupied was preserved. There had been several teams which had come ahead of them in preparation for the opening of the enclave. His study on the Zeffo was second to none, and Justice had wished his work had been preserved. The destruction of the archives on Jedha had been a blow to the rebel movement in the years before the defeat of Emperor Palpatine and Darth Vader. It was one of many losses which had chipped away at the hope many clung to.

Justice knew someone like Cordova had to have created redundancies in his research. Even if they did not land on some data shard or a massive bank of information, there would be breadcrumbs. Researchers like the Jedi Master were known to doodle or jot notes on whatever surface they could find. This is what they would be looking for.

“So tell me what you know about Master Endo Cordova?”

Again like his question about the hollowed out cave, a secret cave, Justice wanted to know how much research she had done before coming to Bogano. It was a test certainly. This was their first mission together, and Justice needed to know who he was working with, and whether she was going to be able to push through when the answers were not so obvious.

For now he fed her easy questions as he scanned the room himself. It was always a surreal moment when standing in a historic place for the first time. Justice would find a small trinket he could take home and run on and on about how he found it. Hollis would undoubtedly have both ears falling off before he finished telling her all about it.

As Braze trailed behind Ko, he did his best to keep his Force presence suppressed, a shroud against the vibrant blanket of life on this beautiful planet. Learning to do so had been a challenge, but one he relished. It was one thing to shadow someone; it was entirely another to shadow a Jedi, let alone one as sensitive as Ko.

He watched as Ko stopped at the edge of the mesa, seemingly drinking in the sounds and feel of the planet, even if he couldn't see it. There was something almost tragic in that, a sensory symphony with one instrument silenced.

When Ko turned suddenly, seemingly aware of something behind him, Braze tensed, fearing he'd been discovered. But no, it was only some local creatures—a family of Boglings that scattered with startled chirps. Ko seemed intrigued, following them. Braze kept a safe distance but couldn't help but marvel at the Kel Dor's sense of direction and awareness.

His admiration turned to respect as he watched Ko pause at the edge of a potential pitfall, just a step away from tumbling into a Bogling hole. Braze didn't dare to breathe, watching intently as Ko knelt down, connecting with the earth through the Force. He couldn't see exactly what Ko was sensing, but he could feel the flow of the Force around him, the way it deepened, twined with the earth, the life around them.

He held his breath as Ko, with evident concentration, did... something. What exactly, Braze wasn't sure until he felt a subtle change in the Force—a ripple of relief, a diminution of distress. It was as though a cloud had parted, letting through a beam of light.

Ko had helped something, or someone. He was learning something new about Ko—his compassion, his precision, his connection to life around him.

Braze tightened the mental shields he'd erected around his Force presence. He knew Ko was capable and resourceful, but he still felt better keeping a watchful eye on him.

I uh- guess I’m ready when you are.

"Okay," Loomi nodded, giving Cailen a warm smile.

The Godoan girl gave another meek wave to the newest arrived padawan before shifting back to offer her hand to Cailen.

"I can feel all the routes below," she told him, her antennae flitting as she felt the air around them. "I think I can guide us through."

Why did she keep saying "I think"? She could definately feel the right path to take. There was no doubt in her mind that she could lead the both of them through with no problem, but why did she keep downplaying herself? Maybe she just needed to go into all of this with a little bit more confidence. Or a lot.

"B-but I'm ready," the Godoan reconfirmed. "Yeah."

Yeah.

The Kel Dor padawan was very much unaware of the small pale stalker he’d acquired out here. Not sensing them as he used The Force to scan his direct surroundings for wildlife. Ko picked himself up onto his feet once more, taking a few breaths to regain his energy.

He wondered if he might possibly get to interact more directly with the Boglings. Maybe if they were feeling a little brave and willing to depart from their tunnels and holes. Ko began to mov, stepping around the marshy terrain while trying to avoid the Bogling’s numerous holes. Still unaware of the other nearby padawan watching him. Eventually stumbled into a particularly muddy patch of soil. Ko didn’t even need his eyes to tell that his boots were caked now in mud.

Frowning a bit under his mask he sensed a tiny disturbance. There was something, no, somebody close that he didn’t notice earlier. However, it didn’t feel very familiar to him. Ko stepped a bit closer to where it was. Trudging through the wet ground. He ‘looked’ over to where he sensed the individual. Looking back at Ko was a row of three big green eyes that seemed to be peering from the ground. Odd.

Suddenly the creature the eyes belonged to revealed itself, quickly emerging from the mud. It was one of the Apex Predators of Bogano, a mighty Oggdo Bogdo. Before Ko could react it widened it’s massive mouth before gobbling Ko whole. The Kel Dor padawan didn’t even have any time to properly react to it, nor did he have a weapon to defend himself.

The giant amphibian was quite pleased that it got such a sizable meal for itself today. Its various green eyes shifted their gaze over to Braze. Unlike Ko, it actually could see the padawan standing off to the side. Defensively it crawled a bit closer to the young teen. The creature had no interest to fight after seemingly having such a filling meal out of the Kel Dor. But was willing to defend itself to keep its meal if need be.

Meanwhile within the large mouth of the Oggdo Bogdo Ko was snuggly trapped. He was rather surprised over what had just happened. Finding himself now within the wet and warm confines of an oversized frog. However, despite his current predicament he didn’t panic. Thanks to the fact that he didn’t get punctured or cut by their large jagged teeth. He had an idea on how to escape from the predator with a non-violent solution…

Lyli removed her robe, revealing her skintight crimson combat leotard and matching gloves and boots.

"I could never stand robes." she remarked. "Okay, Thelma, follow me through the pink flames very closely. They can't hurt you, but they let you phase through the walls. It's our only chance of staying ahead of the search teams."

Lyli let off a blast of pink flames at a wall and leapt through, and carefully blasted the wall ahead and leapt through that. She had memorized the route. The flames would vanish behind Thelma as soon as she leapt through each one Lyli conjured

The most efficient route was a straight line. Lyli made sure to phase a route straight through to a sewer route away from the temple. This was the part where it got complicated. She had to make sure no one was nearby when she conjured the flames.

The teams were still gaining. Lyli had to keep her nerves. These kinds of flames took focus to summon.

Just then her auto piloted speeder bike honed in on her and arrived, hovering over flowing water. The stench was intense, but this was the best route out.

"Hop on! There will be a ship waiting to intercept. Get ready for speed because the temple security force is about to be on us like flies on Poodoo!" Lyli said, hopping on and revving the engine the shouts of the security were far off but could be heard even here, and they were getting closer...
