Ring around the Space Docks (Clans of Mandalore Dominion of Ringo Vinda)

Objective: 2

It hardly mattered to the pirates who they were fighting, but it did matter that they were outclassed, out gunned, and out maneuvered. They weren't any of that, yet, but it was only a matter of time before something happened. As the ships engaged with Kaine, some were shot down, others merely damaged, but they were clearly outclassed. Not that it deterred the pirates, they were getting paid a lot of money to do this, and the reasons didn't matter. Even as some more ships emerged, this time with a CR-90 corvette in the mix, they kept attacking. Ships died to Mig and Kaine, but they still kept fighting their losing battle.

Then in a moment of laxity, where the Mandalorian ships seemed the most preoccupied, 2 ships broke off from the attacking force and flew towards the ring around Ringo Vinda. Even as they flew towards the ring, the rest of the ships moved to intercept any Mando ship that would try to follow.

The delegates were quiet as the Mandalorians spoke, then listened respectfully as Jessica spoke. Representative Jarod nodded along as Aditya spoke, silently wondering about the space battle occurring in space not too far away. His silent question was answered shortly thereafter. 2 fighters had broken off from the main pack, heading towards the meeting area, buzzing the area. Jumping in shock, the representative turned to Aditya and said dryly.
"Dealing with them you say?"

Adenn chuckled then as well, shaking his head he leaned forward in his chair, hand still holding Adityas. He spoke dryly then, a smirk somewhat evident.
"Yes Representative Jarod, our pilots are dealing with them. It's just rather hard to kill pests sometimes, especially when they're numerous." Turning his head to Jessica, Adenn nodded his head to what she said, that would be key. "I understand fully what you mean, exact numbers will have to be hashed out when we know how many pirates want a piece of Ringo Vinda. I think a small fleet of fast ships would be best, with around 150 to 300 Mandalorians for the garrison. At least for starting numbers, that's of course with the information I have now, which isn't the best. That said, could any of you give an idea as to how many pirates are out there?"

Jarod nodded his head, that sounded reasonably, even if the numbers were low in his opinion. Then again, perhaps they could get more later on. He spoke once more then.
"I'd say we face a small fleet of pirates, mainly focused on hit and run tactics. We don't know anything 100%, but we do have information at our disposal, along with several demands for us to give up resources to pirates." He chuckled then, humorlessly. "One of the reasons why we called for your help here."

Adenn grinned behind his helmet, that shouldn't be too bad. Sure they could probably overwhelm what the Mandos had now, but give them some time and they'd have something right and proper. He wasn't overly concerned with the 2 fighters near the station, no doubt someone would be trying to contain them soon, and if not, what could they do? He spoke once more then.
"Aside from the Mandalorians, I'm sure we could get some schematics or similar for you and yours to build your own defenses. Anything from defense platforms to new ships, there's bound to be something there."

Once again Jarod nodded, not quite knowing what to say. Deciding to pass of responsibility, he turned to those with him.
"Does anyone have something to add before we move on? Any questions, comments, points of concern."

They finally broke through. It started as a silent hiss of escaping air into the void. Renewed in their vigor they cut faster, peeling back layer after layer. They stripped her outer hull to the last plate, and burst the bubble by ripping that plate free. Each of the warriors angled their bodies away, so as not to be ripped in half by the explosive decompression as they breached the dorsal hull.

Bodies, O2 and water vapor flash froze, and streamed from the wound. Blast doors and bulkhead slammed shut in their sector, attempting to cut off the compromised area and save the ship from venting.

"In now!"

Nathan followed them in, mag boots keeping a tight latch on the deck plates. Once they were all through, a hasty plate was installed to seal the hole.

"That should keep her relatively stable."

"Nice."

"Draw them guns boys! Nathan you got point. Set a shaped charge dead center on the door Vod That'll wreck the magnetic seal."

"Any splash back?"

"Not enough to hurt. We got Beskar skins kid."

"Feth it. Oya!"

He stepped forwards and placed the charge.

"We gotta move fast if we wanna jack the bridge, should be about two levels down. Nate you'll take squad in, Drakar and I will cover your six, Davik; you start slicing the firewall. Give us control of engineering. We can sort it out real quick that way..."

“Mr. Tucker!!” Livia rolled her eyes, how could one man create such a mess?

“Sorry Captain! Weapons and… computer coming back online!” Tucker fumbled with the controls, slicking away the remains of his sticky, sugary beverage, which he unceremoniously dumped onto his control panel.

“As you please, Mr. Tucker! Do keep Australis, Gred and Raxis waiting. It isn’t as if the ruddy amateur pirates are mounting an attack on the titular Ring!” Maddox slammed her fist on the arm of her chair, leaning forward with eyes full of cold doom.

“Heh. Titular.”

“Who said that!?” Maddox roared, as the ship came about and once more entered the fray. “Ready for’ard cannons! Fire at will.”

Still swinging around, the Defiant Mantis rolled its’ belly around to gain a better target on the pirates making their way for the Ring. Exceptional cannon fire burst from the front of the ship, as true pirates making up for another of their number’s failings rushed to level the field.

“Release fighters. Have them form up behind [member="Kaine Australis"]. Alright, ladies, gents and androgynes. Let’s scatter the chaff, shall we?”

“Wouldn’t be scared of a little fly-by would you? Close shaves are better than eviscerations. Oh look! The Defiant Mantis’s roused its’ fighters!” I point to the ship out the window, recognizing the vessel given to my daughter and now captained by some Pirate’s wife. Who better to extinguish pirates… than pirates? “About time.”

Must be lost in thought again, ‘cause I’m staring out the window and watching a ballet of carnage between pirates and the Mandalorian fleet.

“A lot fewer of them in a couple of minutes.” I mutter, watching another fighter go up in a puffball of orange and red. When Jarod mentions questions, concerns I don’t bother to hold my breath. Black and red eyes flicker to Jessica.

The one those years ago who shot at my child. Course Yash shouldn’t have been in a war zone at aged 6, but looking back it’s no longer here nor there. She was on Kashyyk, and she was a target. Learn a ton about a person by how they treat someone else’s kids.

“I’ve got a question! We’re coming in to die for you lot. We’re trading the safety and lifelihood of our siblings to keep you safe from harm. So, other than some economic treaties, are we really complaining over a small garrison to make those sons of banthas who’ll get the shallow end of the stick comfortable? You’re gonna save a ton in resources to the pirates, by not having them badger you. How’s about a nice station, eh? A waypoint where both parties, Ringo Vindans and Mandalorians can chill and learn more about each other? Ain’t nothing good comin’ from a Galaxy, where everybody in it gets ganked for being friendly… what? It’s the truth! Wish you left me on the ship, yet?”

Mig watched as two vessel broke off and made a run for the ring! He grit his teeth, knowing the Torrents didn't have the natural speed to chase them down. The Mantis had opened fire, but Mig figured some help would be needed. When the stealth frigates decloaked for another attack run, Mig sent a quick message.

"Now Liddin! Get the runners!"

Soon, a squadron of new GF-2 TwinTails leaped out of hyperspace, the lead fighter possessing a maroon red paint scheme. The twelve fighters quickly flew past the Defiant Mantis making sure to stay out of it's firing arc. The fires all began to fire their heavy lasers, and launching a barrage of proton torpedoes.

A crash of fire burst against the repetitive shielding of the Defiant Mantis. Livia held the arms of her chair, grinning out of the side of her mouth. In battle was the purest expression of a person. The rigid mask of a passionate brawler breaking here with her crew.

Many of whom were legitimate pirates.

“Oy, ready a volley, Ms. Petrarch! Hansa, power up the furnaces. There’s still breathing mooks! Helm, shift position y minus three, z seven. Place us between the ring and the pirates. Cannons continue firing at will.”

The Captain watched the battle unfold. She could see Gred bursting through while Australis continued strafing. Good. Soon... soon this would be done

Objective : 1 (Observing for now)

Cuy'val Dar; Those who do not exist. There could be no more fitting title for Akita, for he was everything but a ghost. Wrapped in the warm cloak of the White Current, he flowed through hallways and down corridors without disturbing a single being. His task was to remain hidden, and to observe. He was not often called upon, but today, certain beings wished a pair of eyes on the discussions with Ringo Vinda Shipyards, and so, unobtrusively, he had accompanied the Mandalorian delegation as an uninvited guest.

Akita washed into the room behind the Mandalorians, and kept himself well out of the way, selecting a perch from where he could hear, and see, everything going on in the room. None gave any sign that they had detected his presence.

So, he would wait, and watch, and follow his instructions. Revealing himself at all was contrary to the conventions of the Cuy'val Dar, something to be done only where necessary and under extreme conditions. Akita did not expect today to present any such trouble, but he wasn't sent to unimportant tasks. He was professional with his duty.

"Or rather, that station would be where the garrison would be based. As far as I'm concerned, that seems sufficient to allay any of the concerns we may have about provoking the Silvers and any other party that could be hostile toward Mandos"

And parties that were hostile towards Mandos were not what was missing. Even the CIC was among the possible factions the Mandos could fight at some point in the future, despite the CIC being the smallest of those potential enemies. Just that the station would easily be dwarfed by the adjustable drydocks used to build the largest of ships. Now, just because Mandos are mostly about security, didn't mean the other areas would be neglected. Yet she knew most of the other things people ask from government, and certainly in a change of regime, are usually much more dependent on local conditions.

Wine’s dolled out and I get a lemon fizz, sipping on it none too quietly while I think of the conundrum we’ve got. Provocation is the name, is it? That’s the rub ain’t it?

We might’ve spent the last five years freeing slaves and culling pirates, but one rumour from the ‘other’ numb numbs across the wide spaces and we’re the monsters eating babies at night. All for useless poor PR.

I’ve given up paying attention to the outsiders, those aruetiise and their confounding moral high ground they think they own at the bottom of the valleys. It’s all a lot easier to say you’re a goody-gooder when you’ve closed your eyes to your ‘friends’ and their habits for attacking those who’d rather be left alone.

“So in your mind it’s a ‘yes please die for us, but don’t put your boots on the rug’. Awesome! Great end of the deal for us, ain’t it?”

The fire from the Defiant Mantis was equalizing the numbers from the Pirate Fleet. They thought they could put Ringo Vinda in a bind, and they had. The planetary system was desperate for protection, and their first instinct was to reach for those who for the past years, became pirate-killing specialists.

Aedan said these ‘so called’ pirates gave the rest of them a terrible name. Ought to be culled, the lot of them. There were rules to being a pirate, philosophies to follow. Wanton aggression helped with nothing. A thug could never be a true member of Clan Akaata.

They could not be part of the whole, for they could never be trusted. As Livia sat back in her Command chair, she pondered how those years prior, she came to be a pirate at all.

Her career was shining. A proper Handmaiden learning to protect a future Queen of Naboo. Yet, the call to battle the Sith was strong, when an Echani Jedi Master called for officers for his fleet. It was such an easy thing. Leave Naboo for two weeks, maybe three in her fighter. Contribute, then return, a battle-hardened hero.

But Livia never returned. She rose through the ranks of the Army of Light, and when her Captain and crew were taken by the Sith, the Captain dying in interrogation, Livia stepped up.

The episodes left her scarred. Limping on a cane. No use to any but the fleet. The refugees of which she was. Lingering on, until the pain caused a glitterstim habit, she fell out of every navy she attempted to join.

Washed up, running simple merc piloting jobs to eat. Running from the only home she had, on Sabarene. The only place where the Echani Jedi Master waited with open arms to cure her. To bring her back and tend to her like some form of invalid.

Enter [member="Aedan Miles"]. The stern yet charismatic Pirate King, who saw a loneliness in her which mirrored one within himself. He gave her a ship to Captain, a chance to prove her worth. Rushing into it with the precision of her militant upbringing, Livia learned quickly that pirates didn’t take to orders the same way as other crews.

She limped on, until Aedan once more took her aside, as he’d begun to do in companion-like friendship. He asked the story of her limp. After listening to it all, his inner rage as palpable as his presence, Aedan nearly broke to heal her. She was a member of his crew, one of his Captains and as time swelled, eventually so did she. They were family.

First Aedan and Livia, then little Tuuli. The Pirate King wasn’t alone. And his Queen fired mercilessly on those who sullied their name with the thought that they too could do what Aedan did.

She still had no patience for those whose work was poorly.

Taozi listened to the proceedings quietly, pink eyes watching everyone with an eerie seriousness. Though planetary defense were not her strong suit, Taozi could tell she would need to speak up soon. Words passed through Taozi's thoughts, thinking of how best to go about speaking without causing negotiations to fall apart. Jessica seemed to be contradicting her suggestions, first saying that a garrison on the ground and in orbit would be best, however, now specifying to only have a garrison in orbit. One of the Tal maidens behind her leaned close and whispered into her ear, earning a quiet hum from the Alor.

"Pardon my interruption, though I do have to ask you to clarify something, Miss Med-Beq. At the beginning of this discussion of planetary defenses, you said that maintaining a garrison both on the ground and in orbit is key, however, now you ask that a garrison in orbit be our only option. I understand you have concerns about provoking the Silver Jedi, and by extension the Confederacy. Despite your concerns, no matter what we do neither of those two parties will be pleased with us.

I may not be well versed in planetary defenses, though I am a medical professional in many areas of the field. I believe a small garrison on planet, accompanied by a medium sized garrison station in orbit would be ideal for both parties. The planet-side garrison would allow the people of Ringo Vinda to get to know the Mandalorians who protect them, while also allowing a space for those in the station to have a respite from starring into the empty void. This would assist in keeping their mental health in peak shape, as all work and no play tends to make soldiers... Antsy. Mandalorians do throw quite fun parties as well, you know."

ON THE SHIPS MOVING TO INTERCEPT
It didn't take them long to breach two decks. Deck plates for whatever reason were notoriously weaker than bulkhead. Two shaped charges made nice little man holes for them to drop through. Then they dropped right through the roof of the bridge.

Guess having it internal wasn't so great after all.

Nathan was rushed by a guard, and drew one Westar-34, sending a trio of laser rounds into his chest at point blank. Acrid smoke curled from the fused armor and flesh. He dropped, curling as he died. A wrist rocket fired, corkscrewing across the bridge, impacting the opposite wall.

It was a calculated miss, adding more chaos to the room.

One squad mate laid his repeater on a terminal and began to sweep the room, left to right.

Nathan scrambled back to the wall, following it to the right hand corner. Two shots impacted from a Pirate. They were intercepted in a blinding flash of blue, as his personal energy shield flared to life.
But it was dead, and his blaster was dry.

The Captain whirled, pointed a hand cannon his way, as the remaining crew were either cut down in their seats by the repeater fire raking the killzone, or fled the bridge in terror.

"Feth."

He fired his jet pack, arms out reached, crushgaunts hungry.

They collided like two bricks smacked together. Nathan closed one fist around his neck, and delivered a chop to his wrist. The wrist snapped, and the hand cannon flew off in a random direction.

He tried to draw his second Westar, but jerked as he felt a jarring stab.

A single blade had pierced through a gap in his plates, gashing his right side.

"Osik!"

He squeezed harder, and the Trandoshan Captains eyes bugged out.

It reached out with it's claws, and ripped his helm free.

Nathan delivered a headbutt. Blood sprayed from the creatures bashed and broken nose.

Then a claw raked the left side of his face, shredding the skin.

"Support!"

He kept squeezing. The Lizard might have sunk his scaly claws into him, but he'd die first. He guaranteed that....

Listening around she frowned, truely wasnt going as stardust was hoping. She sipped a little of her wine then sat up and cleared her throat as she looked around

alright alright, let's back track folks yeah? We can all agree we must tread careful in not stepping on any toes. But I do like taozis' idea. A small garrison on planet of maybe a platoon would help people interact, and a medium size maybe what two maybe three platoons worth handful of ships to guard it would safeguard against the pirate threats. Jessica, me and you both know pirates are not a problem easily solved nor go away. They'll be back in numbers again and again...I rather see that not happen or what if slavers come around? Slavers and pirates go hand and hand

The shots from came close to one of the 2 fighters that had escaped, while the other was completely pulverized, its debris being scattered across space, some of it nearing the space ring. At the same time, the other fighter spun and dived away from the fire after buzzing the meeting center. Then that fighter flew near the ring, aiming to protect itself with the peoples fear of hitting each other. It worked for those on the ring, for the Mandalorians were a different matter.

The pirates fighting Kaine and those with him were struggling, and very badly at that. They had no chance of winning, yet they didn't flee, they didn't run at all, instead continuing to fight. A fact that no doubt should surprise those who knew pirates and make even those who didn't suspicious. The reason for that wouldn't be known until a few minutes later, by which time it might be too late. Several more pirates were killed, their ships obliterated, but then another ship emerged. It was an old acclamator class, and it was aimed straight for Livia and the Defiant Mantis.

Within this ship were mercenaries, those who were more well trained than the pirates, better armed and armored. Even as they emerged from hyperspace right into the midst of the fighting, they launched fighters and missiles. Half a dozen missiles flew towards Mig and the fighters with him, while the fighters deployed flew towards Kaine and his troops. While each of the ships was older, they were still deadly and far better than the pirates. The fighters were older ARC-170s, but they had been upgraded with shields from the modern era and engines as well. While the pilots themselves weren't as good as they could be, they were several pegs above the pirates, and flung themselves into the fight, thirsting for blood.

While this happened, the acclamator charged towards the Defiant Mantis. It was seeking to ram the ship near the engines, the entire while shooting its compliment of guns at the ship. When they were close enough, they also sent some boarding pods towards the ship, within were more mercenaries. They all thirsted for blood, but even as they were sent and the results of the ram would come through, whether successful or not, something else happened. Another dozen ARC-170s emerged from hyperspace, also up to specs, and they divided themselves up to attack the enemy.

Representative Jarod sneered slightly at Aditya, particularly because of her comment about being scared. But the sneer didn't go unnoticed, at least not by Adenn, who gave Jarod a glare felt even from beneath the helmet. Instantly the representative backed off, instead focusing on what Aditya pointed out, mainly the fighters from the Mantis. Then Aditya talks about the complaints and Adenn gently squeezes her hand in appreciation, finding it funny to watch the various reactions from the people. When she asks if he wishes he'd left her on the ship, Adenn chuckles lightly and quietly tells her no.

Jarod meanwhile is considering the request, a station would be useful for all parties involved, but would also cost much money to make. Unless they used the ring, which he didn't wish to risk between various groups that dislike the Mandalorians. Before he could say anything though, Jessica spoke up about the station. Adenn frowned behind his helmet and nodded to what Aditya said. If they were to be here defending the place, they should have a presence on the planet. These people had called out to them for help, they wanted to join the UCM, and now they didn't want Mandos on the ground. What was that logic? Before he spoke though, Adenn listened as Taozi spoke and nodded his head to her when she was finished.
"I must agree with Aditya and Taozi here, we're here to help you and instead we're kicked to the curb? Where's the logic in that, and how can the UCM protect the people if those stationed here are stuck to the station. A station that isn't there mind you, unless you want to keep them on the ring? Thus I second what Taozi has said, it would be best to have troops on the ground and in space, with a rotating watch so that they can all enjoy the planet and the ring."

Jarod quickly spoke up after Adenn, voice trying to stay calm, but showing his confusion, ever so slightly.
"Yes... parties are fun and all, but I do believe work is more important." He gave a half hearted chuckle, trying to remain friendly but not wanting to be rude to either side that had just spoken. "I believe we can build a station, until then the Mandalorians can stay on the planet and the ring. Then we can do what Adenn suggested?" Jarod looked at the other delegates with him, receiving some agreeing nods and non committal grunts.

"Once the station is finished, you expect every Mandalorian to remain on that station?" Was Adenns return question, to which he got a furious head shake from Jarod.
"No sir. It can be the main home base, but the Mandalorians are welcome on the planet any time!" He was grinning, just a tad too much, trying to please the Mandalorians while trying to not anger Jessica.
Adenn nodded his head in thanks to that before leaning back in his seat, smiling slightly now behind his helmet. Turning to face Jessica, Adenn spoke once more.
"Does that work with you, Jessica, or do you have a different suggestion? I'm all ears."

Mig's eyes widened aboard the Torrent as he saw the new ships jump in, and the hail of missiles coming. He quickly ran to the comms, know that the stealth craft couldn't avoid this storm in time.

"Decloak and raise shields!" The vessel all soon appeared around the battlefield, taking this time to open their own hail of torpedoes at the Acclamator, and some cluster missiles towards the ARC-170s. Liddin meanwhile called most of her squadron to turn and engage, but she and her wingman quickly flew for the ring. She soon heard some Binary come over her comms.

"Yes I have a plan, but I don't think you'll like it. Ril, be ready to fire. You'll know when." As she said this, the red starfighter's s-foils closed, and the fighter sped up and flew almost as close to the top of the shipyard ring as she could. The TwinTail soon slipped under the pirate fighter, and began to slowly pull up. Her goal was put enough room between the shipyard and the pirate for her wingman to open fire, and by the Force this plan had better work!

Objective: Raid the rings
Location: BR-2 Valiant-class blockade runner

"Buy'ce up," Ardgal ordered.

His beskar boots marched down the open bay of his blockade runner. On either side of him the troops who were strapped down and waiting put their helmets on their heads, sealing them with a hiss and click. The flickering low lights of the bay glistened off the vacuum-sealed armor of each soldier as they sat, waiting, praying silently, and hoping.

At the end of the bay, Ardgal stopped, turning on his heel to look at his troops, waiting. A lingering silence, broken only by the humming throb of the BR-2's hyperdrive filled the ship. The biots in his nose could smell the fear and excitement in the air. It was the calm before the storm. There were questions in everyone's mind, questions of good, questions of bad, questions of whether they or the man and woman to their left or right would be the one to die. The general folded his hands behind his back. Each armored man and woman before him was a fresh faced recruit hoping to make mom and dad back home proud.

A lesser general would have soiled this pregnant silence with some cheery word about how they would survive, or how they would all come out richer and better. No, the seasoned general knew what these fresh faced needed to hear.

"You are about to find out what real hell is," Ardgal said. "Most of you will face death in the face for the first time out there. The fear you feel is good, embrace it. It is the only thing that may keep you alive in that moment when its you or them." He paused, scanning the room with his white helmet. "Remember your training and stay close to your Sargent. Look out for each other, and most of all," he paused. "Trust your guts."

The Ship reverted to real space before the planet Ringo. Immediately the ship's massive drives hurled it forward at maximum speed. For its size, the BR-2 moved with more speed than anyone would have likely guessed it could muster. The air inside was sucked clean out as all power was diverted to the engines. Blasts from the planetary guns bounced off the shields, shaking the ship. They held, unwavering through the assault as the ship didn't return fire--it merely sprinted towards the enemy ahead. Ardgal could smell the fear rising in the air.

"Open the main doors," Ardgal ordered over the comms.

The massive bay doors swung open, revealing the outter vacuum to the inner vacuum. Before them the ring encapsulating the planet grew closer and closer. In a show of red and black beskar, the general charged forward without a word. To their credit, each of the terrified recruits followed him.

Then he leapt.

Ardgal felt the gravity vanish as his momentum carried him through the zero-G. His jet pack kicked on, sending him lurching forward.

The guns had never stopped firing at the BR-2. Ardgal swerved, dodging a blast directed at the BR-2. Out of the corner of his left eye he could see one of the less-lucky troops vaporized by a turbolaser round. His boots slammed against the durasteel hull of Ringo. Troops all around him landed, their magnogrip boots activating just like his. His white helmet gave an appraising eye to the survivors. They made it, or most of them had. But the real damage of that jump for the 56 survivors would be remembering those they saw wiped from very existence around them.

"Let's move," the general said, unaffected by the 15 young lives he had lead to their deaths. "On me, troops."

Ardgal pulled the rifle slung across his shoulder and marched forward, cold, calculated, and ready to kill anything that stood in his way.

“They’re ... maintaining course. Looks like ramming speed!” Mr. Tucker flared up from his console.

Captain Maddox leaned forward and gripped the arm rail of her chair. She watched the skies around them, the firefights and towering casualties on the pirate side. She sneered. The defiant mantis was a bastion of firepower but fast it was not. The pirate ship already had speed on her.

“Climb! Full throttle! Open fire all guns. Release payloads.” The command deck launched into more fervent action, as the vacuum blitzed with crackling light and a payload far greater than the mantis’ size. The retrofitted Alor Class was a special ship, it punched beyond its five kilometre weight.

“Punch the molecular furnaces! Fire explosive munitions!” The ship charging would have no easy time in ramming this fighting ship.

This would be the third time that wasp had deployed alongside the clans of mandalore on a peacekeeping mission, Tasked to aid in the defense of a nation that simply couldn't defend itself, or had enemies too numerous to handle by themselves. First it was criminals holding the cathedral hostage on vortex, then it was a cry for help amongst the yhuuzhan vong invasion of ord centrell, Now it was a call for aid against the pirates of the ringo system. Time and time again had she been called to aid another, and time again there was an obstacle, something that she had to conquer in order to obtain her goal: The safety and freedom of those around her.

And yet, There was a silver here, A corporate CEO. Someone who undoubtedly had only the Jedi's interests in mind, and someone she knew must be sabotaging the potential safety of ringo at this very moment, All because ringo's defenders wore these T-visored helmets..

The thought of it disgusted her, and she knew that she couldn't be anywhere near that room, less she bog down the supposed negotiations by giving the silver's corporate puppet a piece of her mind..
She wanted to help, But she was no pilot, she'd be useless against their ships. She had nothing to do but sit in that hanger bay and wait for the others to finish attempted reasoning with the silvers...

Red lights begin to flash as alarms go off throughout the ring "Warning- Security breached"
Wasp stands and grabs her helmet, placing it on her head, activating her comms to the local security force she had been assigned to for this "mission"

-What've we got there? Aren't space pirates supposed to be In space?- She calls out.

"Some sort of boarding party! They just jumped for it, Never seen anything like that!"

"Obviously never seen a mandalorian boarding party before..." She muttered before reactivating her comms -how many of them?-

"5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 40, 45-" -I get it.. It's a lot.. Get me as many men as you can, and outfit them for space"

A minute or so goes by as a platoon or 45 or so gather in the hangerbay, equiped with basic space suits, jetpacks and magno-grip boots, armed with the basic blasters and protective gear one might expect from dockyard security. it wasn't much, really it wasn't, but technically it was something...

"Lips tight, guns up 'n heads down, Oya!" She raises one hand into the air.

There is a moment of silence.. "O-oya...!" "JUST.. GET YOUR SHEBS OUT THERE."

Wasp jetpacks her way out of the hanger and into space before rolling hard to the left, activating inertia compensators just fast enough to prevent herself from slamming into the side, and instead sticks to it with her magno-grip crushgaunts as she begins to climb up. a moment later she hoists herself up, her hud instantly picking up the small horde of pirates in the distance as her own forces clamber up behind her.
She orders them into cover over the comms and each one of them slides in behind n array of loose panels, satellite dishes, and the occasional odd strut.

She hadn't packed her rifle for this one sadly, but she had something better, A small gift from kaine australis after the battle of H'ratth.

Stinger..

She grips the large, heavy disruptor pistol from her thigh, the added strength of her crushgaunt and her cybernetic left arm played an instrumental role in aiming the damned thing, not to mention the zero-g environment.
She takes a moment to carefully line up a shot, paying no mind to the range, as her hud and the insane range of the disruptor pistol removed all doubts in her mind that she'd hit.
And then, she squeezes the trigger, A bright orange beam of incinerating power beamed through the vacuum towards it's target, followed by a hail of blasterfire as her makeshift team unloaded, beginning the infantry side of the battle for ringo verda

"I was getting to the ground portion but the ground garrison ideas put forth here seem workable"

These Mando ideas were the smallest garrison size they could afford to place without provoking their Silver neighbors, or the Confederates, while still allowing them to provide some degree of protection against slavers or pirates. It was a delicate balance to be struck, and too large and the population won't welcome the Mandos as much, too small and, while the risk of provocation would be alleviated, and also the risk of the population not feeling comfortable with the Mandos, it would be unable to provide any kind of defense. Also, she knew that the ease at which rogue elements could form to attack seemingly at random may have caused some problems in the past, and she knew a few Mandos that would be made to feel that Mandos are treated unfairly because of that. But now that the main issues of external policy were approached, maybe there are other issues that Mandos would want to cover that would be relevant, that may matter to the locals, or alternatively, issues that matter to the locals that they wish the Mandos to address here.

"Any other issues you would like to approach?"

“Sounds like we’ve got one heck of a deal on our hands there, then.” I rub my hands on the table and look around the room.

Seems we’re nearing our negotiations end and that’s all kinds of exciting for a woman about ready to put her feet up and dream of the days when the babies inside are screaming for attention outside. Sure. It’s odd. I want the noise. The noise of infants in my arms, way I never got the chance to enjoy with Yasha, or my dear dead son Eli. Noise is the best, it’s a luxury of safe living, when we don’t have to be quiet or fear without a peep.

That’s what the Mandalorian gave us. A promise that maybe, if it all works out, that aliit, that family they worship will pull through. It was the one thing Preliat never allowed himself to understand, family isn’t a fair-weather convenience, or a trial to hold in fear when the nightmares come in. Nor is family what Yasha experienced. A fractured scattering of bones and half-ghosts making the pain shift and deaden by infinite and untempered betrayal.

It’s the only reason worth fighting. To protect the families of those who band to our call. Just like these new ones on Ringo Vinda.

“Yeah. We have a deal. I’m sure Mand’alor the Infernal will send her personal congratulations but until then please take mine. And I hope Taozi’s medical relief fleet will be welcomed. Anything more than the sniffles is covered, if there are any who require medical care on Ringo Vinda, we’ll start immediately, Eh Alor?” I give a smile and go to stand up only to huff and put a hand on my belly. “Ohkay let’s try that again...”

One hand on the table the other on my lower back, I pull myself to my feet. “Yep! There it is! Awesome. Ringo Vinda’s Government and internal affairs are its own. We neither own it nor will run it for you. What we will do is open educational centres and for those who wish to be educated in your system, we will cover the costs of their education. Think of it as a scholarship for every student. Every person in the Mandalorian Clans has the right to opportunity and the right to gain knowledge without financial impediment. All who are hungry are welcome at the garrisons for meals, all who require clothing will be provided for. Those who harm the Vode will be dealt with... harshly. We require nothing but that Ringo Vinda continue on. Do what you do best. There is really nothing else to it. Oh. And have a great day of it.”
