Return of the Heritage Council | Kur's Dozen Rebellion of Free World's Coalition Held Hapes Hex

Exiled Count of House Teraan (Alderaan)
Objective 2= quell these terrorist attacks and find the root of it...once it happens
Location= Unknown spaceport in Hapes
Allies= FWC, [member="Stardust Bloodstone"]
Enemy= Unknown

It was then after the faint pounding headache slowly came and went which along with the churning feeling in the pit of his stomach subside. Only after he hurled and lost quite a bit of what little sustenance along with a bit of booze he assume he'd consumed earlier. As in the back, his mind swirled the cease desire make sense of it all and backtrack from what bit he could recall happened that lead him here. But then again he didn't have long as the high pitch beep from the collar came ever more loud as did it shorter in the interval. That it sort push him to shift gears as he then knelt down to reach under the sink to what he believed be the box the voice was talk about. Which he then haphazardly and quickly grab then rip open to reveal what appears to be a pair of oily dock overalls, tools, and id. Which upon flip over reveal a name and with it the matching face of the man he saw in the mirror.

"Well guess...*sigh* guess might as well get this over with."

He then said under his breath as he then slips the coverall on and pins the id onto its lapel before sling over the tool belt over his shoulder. As he then tentatively stood up and began head out the door.

Sometime later...

For the young Andulf, the rest of the succeeding task ask of him had been all but seem uneventful albeit somewhat puzzling. To retrace his path after leaving the room. He had then made to hitch a ride onto one the nearby speeder then drop off by the dock wherein he check himself in. With seeming very little fanfare as to what its worth the identity or the person he'd been made to assume seem been so. Dull and boring that he barely got a second glance from any of the security that he passes by.

And before long he found himself within the hangars where thru mix of faint instruction and prodding by his mysterious captor. He was then made to take a gravel then stop and pick up a few different cargoes along the way. Thought curiosity began to set in as to why all the secrecy and what was it he was made to pick up had all but plagued his mind thru the rest of the day. That before he knew it with a slip of momentary concentration he rams then bump a few crates from another graveled. Which upon toppling one then spilled out a portion of its contents. Grains? And as he glances over just as he is being berated by the other dockworker that he came note a seemingly familiar face([member="Stardust Bloodstone"]). One which he could help wonder if by chance she could help him out this odd predicament he gone found himself in. Bu then before he could utter a word a faint voice whisper in his ear...

"Uh, don't get any funny idea ... we can still see you and the faster we can get done the sooner you can be on your way....so get a move on it. Times a wasting ...."

If Karro could sigh, he would. He collected the large suitcase from Regi- Rancor 3. The two were casually strolling down the street now, searching for targets. Hopefully a walking skeleton and a combat droid wouldn't draw too much unwanted attention. Karro complied to threes request and began to scan the busy streets, a red beam pulsating through his photoreceptors. There were plenty of targets of course, but not easy ones or ones worth while. Suddenly Karro's head jolted to the right and stopped dead in his tracks, grabbing three's arm to stop him. His electronic eyes pulsated as he stared at the ornamented building to their right. Seeing hundreds of red outlines, which meant organic beings, which meant targets.

"The casino to the right, 300 meters. Heavily trafficked, i count hundreds of organics. Heavy spice use on the second level. Moderate security." Karro turned to the left to face another building on the horizon, a large walled structure with a domed building in the center. At least one hundred workers and heavy electric currents. "To the left, the power grid, multiple workers, minimal security." Karro turned to face him as the skeletal alchemist contemplated his options for destruction.

In a galaxy beset by warring factions, there was no standard unit of currency. It varied from system to planetary system, and even between interstellar governments. This meant that tracing a handful of transactions, throughout the interconnective weave of varying economic networks, was an impossibility even for the most studious of intelligence systems. There were far too many variables that would strain the limits of a conscious mind, as they grew all the more numerous the further their attention trailed from the source. Had this been the golden age of civilization, where the accepted form of standard currency was the Republic Dataries, or more commonly known as the Credit, it would’ve been a simple process to divine where funds had been transferred. However, as the light of civilization had long since been extinguished and the galaxy had been set on the road to recovery, it wouldn’t be possible for anyone to know who, and what had been done in the shadows. Especially, when the factors of diffusion were brought into play, as any respectable organization would have several front companies at their disposal to throw off the scent of revelation.

That was in that spirit, that an element of the Golden Company had found themselves contractually bound to the service of the enigmatic woman known only by the name of Miss X. From the information that this mysterious woman had elected to share with Khonsu, and his Superiors thereafter were made aware of what their enshrouded bargain entailed and what it meant for the entirety of the organization - should the operation fail. They were tasked with infiltrating deep into enemy territory, and into the heart of a cluster of isolationist women, to sow the seeds of discord before the coming harvest. While these women bore a similar resemblance to the hated Echani, the Thyrsian warriors had felt a glimmer of admiration flutter through their breasts as they heard the details of both their unparalleled beauty and their aversion to the darkness. However, as more and more of their culture was made apparent, that warm approval had slowly soured. They believed that men in places of power led to evil deeds? Clearly, they had never met the Echani, and how they enslaved the people of Thyrsus. That notion alone had galvanized the chosen men to their purpose. As not only would they be able to reignite their passionate zeal against the despotic Echani, but they were presented with a chance to unleash their seething hatred upon those that lorded themselves over the race of men.

It was, in their eyes, a situation that there could be no other outcome than victory.

Thus, with their warrior souls enkindled by the massacre to come, Khonsu had led his men towards their destination, only to find themselves standing before a silver-swept shuttle ferrying nearly a dozen women encased in segmented ivory. From the sigils that adorned their starship and the armour they wore, these feminine figures hailed from the heart of the isolationist cluster and would seamlessly blend into their surroundings - had they been stationed within the transitory mists instead of this darkened corner of the universe. It was there that the Sun Guards were stripped of their Golden vestments, and provided with a twinned disguise that would ensure their entry into the cluster. The first was a textured stealth suit with a camoline cloak. Like their flesh, it was woven from shadows, and despite the lack of darkness within the ionized mists - would allow for them to blend into their surroundings. The second was something that would allow them to walk amongst the soon-to-be victims without raising suspicion. The item in question was a circular device that was nestled in the centre of their padded breastplate and washed their personage in hardened molecules of light. It was an advanced holoflage device, that shrouded their genetic origins with that of one which had been specially engineered for this operation.

With their weapons concealed beneath the cloak, Khonsu and his men would be more than equipped to handle whatever dangers awaited them within the mists. That being said, they would have to endure one of the hardest transitions ever made by a freeborn Thyrsian. They were to smuggle themselves into the Hapes Cluster, clad in the machine-forged visage of a local band of pale-skinned pirates. While that wouldn’t have been too bad, it was what came next that had fueled the mercenaries ire. As they were to be transported by select members of the Royal Marine Corps, they would make the translation through the ionized mist with their wrists and ankles clasped in irons. There was no amount of credits that could stem the anger that flooded through his veins. They would pay for this, the Tribune promised amidst the chorus of mechanical laughter. While he stewed, both in the attempt to play the part of a defeated pirate and over his damnable luck, the Sun Guards were loaded into the transport and broke for the distant stellar anomaly that lay beyond the horizon.

When the Golden, now recast in shame and shadow had arrived, the conflagration of terror would grip the heart of the Cluster once more - showing them all that they had placed their faith in the hands of the unworthy...

What was she afraid of, did it really show? She was losing her touch it would seem. She was not one to waste her words or not say what was on her mind when the opportunity came. "Off worlders tend to forget they are guests. It has been costly in the past. I grow concerned at the number of off worlders roaming across Hapes even now." It was now in the open.

"A reason why you may encounter problems from other Hapans." Pirates even though they rarely stepped on Hapes were raiding their trade lanes and taking their citizens. Was life so miserable that they taking of lives and selling them for profit was more pleasing than working for a living.

She turned to look at him, "We have deal. I believe you will honor your word and our agreement. Why did you say what you did at the end?" She had been curious it was as if it was a precursor of what could happen.

The Queen, what would she say to Mel for what she had done. It weighed on her mind. Perhaps that was what he was seeing. She would have to do better at hiding her emotions.

Allana Badeaux

Ta’a Chume – Queen Mother
Objective: 1 (Maintain the Throne and Protect the People of Hapes)
Location: The Fountain Palace (A private Greeting room)
Allies: Everyone (Theo that are trying to help her keep the throne and protect the people of Hapes)
Enemies: Everyone (anyone who is trying to take the throne or to cause chaos)
Assets: The Hapes Consortium

Four Hapen Royal Guards entered the room before Allana made her way in. They moved around the room checking to see if it was secure before Allana entered. Allana did not wait to her if it was clear. There was no time. Flanked with two guards to each of her side and six more behind her…

Normally Allana greeted her old friend [member="Relina Zhan"] with a smile. At this time Relina should have known there was something wrong.

“Duch’a Relina Zhan I call upon your services this day”, Allana did not betray her and show her emotions. It was emotionless and her words fell out as elegant as she appeared in a white dress adorned with clear blue gems laced with the silk fabrics.

“Four years ago everything changed, it was a dark day in our history. You knew why I did what I’ve done. You’ve been there to support me along the way. We both knew there would come a day when some would try to come for me. They being apposed at the idea of finding allies beyond our borders... they would attempt to take the throne. Today is that day. That is why I’m entrusted you with something most important to me, the protection of our people. There is no grantee this is not a ruse by the Sith or Imperials. There is no grantee my enemies’ within the court did not gain Sith or Imperail support.”

“I’m asking you to oversee the Hapen Royal Fleet above Hapes. As I fight for my life, I can’t protect our people. Four years ago I learned how precious our people are and what they mean to me. They mean more to me then my own life. Please go to the flagship and keep a watchful over Hapes Prime. Oversee the security of Hapes Prime with my blessing”

What Allana asked was not out of the ordinary for the Consortium. It was not uncommon for the queen to ask a Duch’a to oversee a military operation. Even though her rank bar says major at the moment. She will be commanding admirals while she carried the favor of the Queen Mother.

Objective 2: Set up for the attack.
Allies: [member="Karro Radin"], [member="Reginald Frederickson"], [member="Zyrias Pax"], [member="Kur"]
Enemies: [member="Codename: Cypher"], Hapan Script Kiddies
Location: An Entertainment District

Marcus gave a quick nod to 'three' before moving towards the ship's med-bay, eager to get himself ready before he left for one of the many stopping points that he'd thought of for himself. The most important objective, for him at least, was to get this all done without his face being logged into some security network, and to that end, he'd have to cover himself up in a way that wouldn't draw much suspicion. Hoods were good for that sort of thing, but every damned security officer in the sector would be suspicious of a hooded man in all black. It's just one of those things you looked for when you went around looking for no good criminals.

In this case, he thought that it might be prudent to take on a bit of a disguise. He'd bought it all off the CrypetNet, though he guessed that he could go to any retailer and find the same kit, it made the transaction more secure. A few simple items. A maintenance jacket, a helmet with a thick black visor, and his duffel bag. It wasn't much, but it would at least give anyone the impression that he was a dock worker of some sort, if not a part of a ship's crew. He wasn't too extraordinarily familiar with the Hapan's opinion of men loading cargo into ships, but they probably wouldn't mind it much. A few more minutes would see him dressed and ready, making his way towards the ramp. Another brisk nod towards his rather large employer would see him out, and onto the pad, quickly making his way towards one of the streets, not wanting to take the alleyways for fear of an even more suspicious guard. No, today he'd be sticking to good old crowded walkways.

He'd make his way to what he assumed might be the entertainment district, following the increasing amount of neon signs and advertisements, not to mention the growing hum of the crowd. It was like a soft drone, sort of what you might find if you walked near a beehive, but where a beehive only hid honey, crowds of people hoarded something much more desirable. Devices. He walked, following the steady stream of people to what appeared to be more of a plaza area near the casino, and looked for an area that he might set up shop. Having a lot of people around was only an advantage to a viral assault, more users passing along more data on the open holonet channels in the area would lead to multiple localized infections before any admins would see anything wrong. Or at least that was the plan anyways. He knew that eventually the data stream would be stopped, and he'd be sent off to his next objective which would be finding something to blow up...

He had his answer soon enough in one of the local stores that lined the streets. It was your average tech outfitter. Datapads, holosets, anything you could want that used data, and it would be an OK place to start up a viral phenomenon. Clearing himself of view, taking to the hub behind the building, likely where the network signal ran from, he got out his own laptop and began to flip on everything he would need, tucking himself in between a dumpster and the maintenance hub itself while he made the preparations to begin his work. Nobody said that the job was glamorous, but he wouldn't be here long anyways.

Location: Conference Hall.
Objective: Secure Contract, Protect Assets.

"I'm glad you accepted that offer." Azrik said. "As for what I said before... I asked if your afraid because you look visibly shaken. As if something is about to happen." He had heard the rumors of possibly conservative overthrow, word had reached his ears from certain mercenary groups.

Azrik held up his hand, stopping the train of thought. "Forgive my poor choice of words. But there is one last thing I would ask you." He could sense it as he spoke. Everything was now in motion. Nothing could be undone. "I suspect you'll have an audience with Queen shortly. I would like to ask you my lady if I could attend, and meet her majesty and thank her personally for oversight on this contract." He smiled, and made eye contact with [member="Melanctha Dallamoor"], his demeanor both confident and assertive.

Objective 1: Enter Mr Z and Present the Plan to the Queen
Location: The Palace Gardens.
Allies: [member="Codename: Cypher"] | [member="Relina Zhan"] | [member="Allana Badeaux"] The Royals and their Bank Balances
Enemies: [member="Tmoxin Temi"] | [member="Zyrias Pax"] | [member="Zef Halo"] and the other rebel ne'er do wells!

Immediate Assets: 14/14 FFE Mercenaries (9 Hapan Mercenaries | 2x Twi’leks | 2x Noghri | 1 x Houk)
Potential Assets Offsite: 50 Noghri Commandos, transports and escort craft. | x3 Hackers using the Botnet

Hearing of the updated situation around the planet, in bits and pieces. “Phase Two.” Lady blue said into her communicator quietly, slinking her way through the garden crowds and to take up her own position in the grand scheme of things, followed of course by a sizeable escort. She wanted to be a visible presence for the nobles, for the guests here that had been invited to attend, in these perilous times. The queen obviously had her own security, what she also had was her palace security systems now being guarded by hackers, the Botnet devices they used were brute force and easy enough to spot. That didn’t mean the botnets weren’t causing a lot noise over the holonet in the Palace’s favor, flooding certain rebel hackers and overloading their decks with data if they were spotted going after key services to destabilize the planet, especially any trying to interrupt broadcasts. [member="Zyrias Pax"] | [member="Marcus Lok"]

The plan the aide delivered to [member="Allana Badeaux"] had multiple options she could approve or disapprove, all they required was her signature underneath them. She might if she was especially alert notice the aide was followed at least as far as he could be by two figures. She now had two Hapan assassins blending in as minders. Obviously standing outside of her own guard, not getting the way, but if any attempt was made on her life an assassin was the one to spot another assassin, and they would follow her order to leave or stay if she wanted to acknowledge them directly. [member="Allana Badeaux"] Perhaps though it would be best to forget they were even there.

The Plan
1) The use of a double to come greet Lady Blue (Tadietti) in public on camera. Any rebel looking to cause harm to the queen wouldn’t know which was which, in fact if the Queen wished, Lady blue’s own assassins could assist.

2) Fake signatures, the queen’s location would begin to appear in different rooms and in those rooms assassins would be waiting for any looking to cause her harm. It would make a nice honeytrap for the rebels.

3) Smoke and Noise. If she wished, the palace could be rigged to look like it was the target of a terrible firefight. No damage need be done, only the camera need project this terrible slight against Hapes by the rebels. It would offer her ample confusion to leave in the chaos should it become required. Then she could stand victorious at the end of it all, conquering the non existent invaders.

4) A fake Assassination on camera of a double. Stirring the public outcry against the audacity of it all. Then swelling hope as we broadcast you alive.

Any all options are yours, you just need sign your name blow them, and the data will be transmitted.

Of course this wasn't the only plan.

Enter MR Z [member="Tmoxin Temi"]
That history was about to get even less spotless.

Right about now. The palace and indeed much of the holonet that she could captivate was contacted by the voice of the resistance, Lady Blue’s own resistance. She chuckled lightly as a holovid screen streamed the news in across her watch device. “Hapan's unite. We have long suffered under the tyranny and boot of the body politic. We can only be free in uniting under one strong leader. Mr Z. Kill all who would oppose you, slaughter them like the dogs they are, and spare no one, be they friend or family. For we are the resistance!" [member="Tmoxin Temi"]

Now three very brutal acts were shown on the screen, prerecorded acts. Staged of course, but staged well. People were knelt on the floor and shot blindfolded. A freighter crashed into a supposedly full hospital, cutting from a shot of a full hospital to an outside building; then several prisoners were lead around in chains, to be sold to hutt slavers. Deals with hutts, easily arranged as Blue dealt with the hutts all the time. Painting the conservatives as hypocrites in dealing with offworld allies and criminal cartels, painting them as reckless in their choice of targets and methods. Not a one act was true, but it made for interesting viewing in undermining the rebels. The hospital had been an empty building and the old freighter had cost Blue a pretty penny. Not to mention the air time. Sigh. She better get reimbursed.

Time to resist the resistance. Mr Z was actually a red zeltron, but you couldn’t see much of his face, covered in shadow. The resistance would be depicted as no better than dogs, and every act of terror they did in reality, was going to be redoubled on them tenfold in the public eye. So easy to use their own methods against them, she clinked her glass against a co-conspirator’s. As for blue, what was she doing, toasting a fine bottle of wine in the palace lobby, and having a chat with man about a man about a fish? Almost, an animal that contained a certain substance which might soon become relevant.

Let the games begin.

Make A Move (Incubus)

Relina would stand at rest, glancing only once at the Chume'doro that filed into the room to secure it. She'd listen intently to her Queen's words. True, she knew Allana like a dear friend personally, but it was Allana who wore the Band of the Queen Mother and sat upon the throne. Her usual warm demeanour toward the woman was replaced with solemn deference, like a Commander to an Admiral, perhaps. The time for friendly banter over a glass of wine or two would come later, after the impending crisis was adverted.

"Yes, Erenada." she said, using the Hapan honourific that basically meant 'peerless' in the feminine, a term reserved only for the Queen Mother. "For clarity, you are requesting me to take control of the Navy presence above Hapes, over the head of or in co-operation with Admiral Le'Fiel?" She asked. It seemed like a bit of break in the chain of command, not that she wasn't capable. If that was the order, she wouldn't question it, but she needed to know for sure.

Thinking about the current array of forces above the planet, she had come up with an idea that she felt necessary to pitch to Allana before carrying out her orders.

"Have you considered a decoy, perhaps? If it is believed that you are holding court under the security of the Dammerung, Paragon's Headquarters, this could draw out our enemies into the open. If I may suggest, dress up your most faithful handmaiden like yourself and move her to the Dammerung with my Angel Squadron and I escorting her in Royal fashion. You, however, should relocate to either Reef Fortress or a secure location here in the Palace. For appearances, you could use a hologram to continue handling matters of state." she said, with a cunning, devious curl to her lips.

When one's enemies were hidden, it would be best to make them not hidden. This was a lesson that should have been learned before from previous insurrections, the most recent of which Relina herself had fought in. It was that campaign in which she had made a name for herself as a skilled combat pilot. She was, also, one to learn from history rather than let it repeat itself. If this ruse worked, it could prevent a much broader and much more costly war. She would maintain her formal rest position until the Queen weighed in on the suggestion.

Seriously? Did this dude know what planet he was even on?

Women controlled everything on Hapes and yet, the hoary old merc expected Zyrias to carry her own bag?

“Ugh, Daddy. You’re always trying to teach me a lesssoooon,” she whined, snatching the bag and giving Zef a glare with her bright hazel eyes. Once at the Palace Gates, she flashed the invitation to the Lavender Patch. Even though there were all of these wild rumors spinning around, nothing had really happened yet so the Hapan guards shrugged, scanned the small flimsi card and ushered the pair inside with little fanfare, the wizened merc (at least to Zyrias - he must have been what? Like 80 years old?) and his teenage daughter strode right into the Palace where the dulcet tones of a lute awaited them.

Meanwhile a Hapan Guard on routine patrol, noticed a small sack nestled in a thicket, near the Palace but not directly beside it. She kicked it.

BOOOOOOOMMM!

The Guard was thrown off her feet, the tidy epaulets on her shoulders wafting in the breeze. As she got to her feet, she realized that no one was hurt, but she needed to contain the area. There could be more grenades like this ready to go off. Mr. Z's broadcast began and Zyrias and Zef would need to quickly react to the approaching shift in Palace security.

Derezzed (Daft Punk)

"Aha! Show time!" she said to herself, seeing the detonation, and then promptly opened comm channels. "All Fountain Palace security and military personnel, converge on the entrance and grounds... initiate lockdown protocols!" she ordered through more than one channel of communication: Text, voice, and military flash code, using several different means to send them, some of which were dedicated. This overkill to send a message was done to defeat the potentiality of obstruction of the orders being delivered. As someone of her profession, She had to plan for virtually every eventuality and treat every situation like a multi-tiered game of dejarik... a game Cypher intended to soundly win in record time.

As for her two phony IDs, she would send a text-only transmission ordering four Chume'doro, the hand-picked Royal Guard corps of the Queen herself, to track down and detain the two, formally on suspicion of involvement with the bombing as well as the forged IDs. The Chume'doro were explicitly instructed to use the 'pincer manouvre', which meant to converge from two different directions to limit escape routes. They were to set weapons for stun, she wanted the two alive.

In further response to the attack, Cypher then moved to shut own wireless Holonet access points throughout the City to limit communication to security and military personnel only until the crisis was adverted. For the benefit, such that it was, of civilians who were inconvenienced by the loss of wireless communication, a notice was displayed in Aurebesh and Hapan calligraphy advising that due to grave emergency, Holonet access was temporarily suspended, apologizing for the inconvenience. Complaints could be made to a provided government comm number, but that commboard was manned by M.I. 8 agents, who had a reputation for stonewalling and lesser known knowledge of social engineering tactics. Access to the Holonet required a 128-bit polymorphic encryption key, which could take weeks to break without specialized gear. and pursuant to protocol, breach of security at the access level would be immediately flagged and location of the intruding machine logged with operatives notified. She'd keep her location-tracking algorithm to track exact locations, just in case someone got brave (or very silly).

From her virtual terminal, she would also copy a record of the recorded cam footage of the the explosion both as evidence for the courts and for investigation of any other accomplices. There had been a distortion and flash on the recording, prompting Cypher to consider attempts at blinding her vision by covering or disabling the security cams situated throughout the city. She could not readily prevent an EMP preemptively, noting that as a likely method of obstruction to her and so sent orders for all members of Hapan Security and any available military personnel not otherwise serving priority orders in the city to move out and keep order. They were to report any suspicious activity to M.I. 8 promptly before engaging anyone. To compensate for a technical weakness, the cops and marines would be her eyes and ears in the event of a blackout of the conventional surveillance means of her and her's.

While she did not know how was who in this conspiracy just yet, there was no way two people could instigate an attack without a much, much broader plan at work. It was Cypher's job to foil it and put the State's enemies on the defensive. She had to assume they were accomplices, perhaps an advance guard of sorts, for others... but how many, she didn't know yet, let alone what else was in play or would soon be.

She'd finally call the Queen Mother's personal commlink directly from the mainframe, the caller ID identifying herself. If answered, Cypher would advise, "Your Majesty, there has been an attack on the Palace grounds. I recommend evacuation with military escort. We are initiating lockdown protocols."

With the Palace locked down, all major accessways would be remotely closed and magnetically sealed. A particle shield would be projected over windows and doors. The only doors that weren't magnetically sealed were residential rooms and other such facilities inside of the complex. Major accessways locked down were ones that allowed anyone in or out. It would take a certain security clearance to pass through them, any use of such would be logged by security systems pinpointing the location, date, time, and whose clearance was used. Shortly, the Palace grounds and halls were swarming with Hapan Security, Royal Marines and Cybrog Warriors stationed there, and the Chume'doro. Even the conference rooms and the parliamentary building, Lorell Hall, was under security control.

"Warning: tampering with your device will void its warranty and brick it...." she mumbled to herself whimsically.

"It is a favorable deal." She continued to look at him. He was hard to read he could pass for Hapan with the lack of emotion that showed on his face. She nodded as she thought about the request and the words spoken.

"If my Queen has need of me, then yes I will go." She took a few steps to her right to look out the window over towards the palace. "I could take you as far as the foyer where all guests are greeted. But if called it is a private audience that she would seek and for me to bring you into that would be a serious breech of protocol." It could earn her the ire of her Queen rather than the favor she hoped for.

She also had to remember that even though she had made a deal with him he was still an outsider. She didn't know him well enough to ask the Queen to grant audience to him. But she could bring him that far and then ask the Queen and see what her response would be.

His voice held that level of authority that she had grown up with it picked at her sense of duty. She had to remember who she was and not be guided by former guilt.

Allana Badeaux

Ta’a Chume – Queen Mother
Objective: 1 (Maintain the Throne and Protect the People of Hapes)
Location: The Fountain Palace (A private greeting room)
Allies: Everyone
Enemies: Everyone
Assets: The Hapes Consortium

Allana was about to explain to [member="Relina Zhan"] that chain of protocol was not going to be broken. How could it be if you were given the temporary position of Minister of Defense. Allana had not trusted that role to anyone yet. The last person to hold the position was Duch’ix Aleister Grey, A Hapen hero who was killed the same attack four years ago. His mind for fleet strategy and his experience was already missed. The power Allana was about to hand Relina would have given her the authority to coordinate civil and military assists. It was too late for that. The attack had already begun.

The conversation was cut short with a call coming through her personal comlink. Listening to the voice of [member="Codename: Cypher"] , Allana did look down to the name coming up on a caller ID?

“It seems it has already begun”, Allana said looking over to Relina.

Next was not out of the ordinary. A data pad was handed to the Queen Mother from one of the guards. The information was [member="Tadietti Tann"] ‘s plan.

As she thought it over she handed the data pad to Relina to get her opinion.

Then…

“Duch’a [member="Melanctha Dallamoor"] “, Allana called out over her personal comlink contacting Mel’s personal comlink. “The time has come. The first of many attempts upon my life is happening. The Fountain Palace is currently on lock down. Protect yourself and come when you can. I will make sure you will be able to get into the palace. If you have a big stick with you I suggest using it. My enemies could target you so I will have less support.”

Allana ended the transmission and walked over to a computer terminal. She began to access it to determine what exactly cased the lockdown. Being the Queen Mother cutting her off from her own computer net work was almost impossible. Defiantly considering her secrete double life. Not too many people knew of Allan’s experience with computers.

Relina accepted the datapad and read over it, commenting about the lockdown and stiff security response. "It seems the spooks are in control of the city. Swax'if has hit the fan, hasn't it?" she asked, rather candidly revealing her thoughts.

The datapad had a number of ideas pitched to the Queen and Relina went into edit-mode with the datapad's stylus and jotted down, in breif, her notes in her Hapan calligraphic handwriting.

1) The use of a double to come greet Lady Blue (Tadietti) in public on camera. Any rebel looking to cause harm to the queen wouldn’t know which was which, in fact if the Queen wished, Lady blue’s own assassins could assist. Do not recommend. Alternative: assassins themselves could be the double, her entourage, and any other personnel if Her Majesty elects this move.

2) Fake signatures, the queen’s location would begin to appear in different rooms and in those rooms assassins would be waiting for any looking to cause her harm. It would make a nice honeytrap for the rebels. Plausible. Recommend body double aboard Dammerung as well... Angel escort for appearances.

Do not recommend. Will not work.

4) A fake Assassination on camera of a double. Stirring the public outcry against the audacity of it all. Then swelling hope as we broadcast you alive. Plausible, but it would need to be very well staged. Time is a luxury we do not have. mock up takes time.

Any all options are yours, you just need sign your name blow them, and the data will be transmitted.
Relina would finish her scribblings, replacing the stylus. She would hand back the datapad to the Queen and asked, "If I may ask, who is this person who makes these suggestions?" she'd pause a moment, watching her using the terminal. "Clearly a foreigner, but I would think a combination of assassin body doubles and my original suggestion would be ideal. It would be better to move you to a secure location, but give a confusing and lethal impression that suggests you're still being moved after the fact." she added.

Relina was aware that the Queen knew her away around computer networks fairly well. She was prepared to do whatever it was she wanted of her, but she hoped she'd take her advise, if not as a tactically sound move in her own best interests, then as a friend.

"Sir, we're picking up chatter from the surface. It appears a bomb has been detonated near the Royal Palace."

Errreembuhr's attention had been gained, and he turned to Talus, who waited at his side with a droid's typical patience. "Get to the hangar, Talus. Give the order to begin loading troops onto the dropships. Wait for my call to deploy."

"As you command, Sir," the droid replied, briefly bowing before setting off through the automatic doors from the bridge.

Now the Wookiee turned to Agil. "Contact the Royal Palace. What little knowledge I have of the Hapan people tells me they are likely to be on extremely high alert after a direct attack on the palace, and I will not risk our troops being shot out of the sky."

The crew droid gave a nod before activating the ship's communications, directing Errreembuhr's personal command code and Coalition credentials to [member="Relina Zhan"]. With some luck they would allow him permission to land troops and investigate.

"Do. not. call. me. Daddy." Zef whispered almost hissing underneath his breath before passing through security with the most faux smile ever seen. After which the smuggler adjusted the verpine shatter pistol that laid beneath his shirt on the back of his waist. Thing was uncomfortable as heck.

Fancy dressed men and women, rich liquor in small glasses, appetizers made out of dreams. All the things in complete contrast to Zef. As if without manners he snatched a glass of bourbon from one of the trays a male server carried and downed the damn thing in one breath.

The slicer beside him might consider the smuggler an ignorant fool but Zef knew. Zef knew very well about the matriarchy of Hapan society. He remembered chasing one out of love, or affection, or well he was young and she was real pretty. Forty years ago.

Forty fethin years ago.

Man, he was as old as the damn soil he walked on now.

"We sho-" Before Zef could continue his sentence, a cordon of armed personnel stormed the garden with doors locking and obvious defensive protocols going through. It startled him for a brief moment.

Huh?

The smuggler blinked before squinting his eyes trying to find any reason for alert but finding none. Were they exposed already? Definitely not. Unless martial law was the standard reaction to a smuggler and a slicer thinking of robbing the palace out of some valueables.

"I ain't sure what's goin on but the place turned to Bastion real quick." He referred to the infamous world. Once it had been an important world of the Mandalorian Crusaders. "I can't really do much at the moment." He admitted before slightly shoving his 'daughter'. "Go on, daughter."

"Do something, you're the fethin' right gender on Hapes." Zef added whispering. "Here, I will help."

He grasped at his heart and staggered before falling down on his knees imitating a heart attack. His features turned to features belonging to a man being shredded by a lightsaber.

"H..h-elp."

If you can't act a fool in the underground, you'd die young.

Matriarchal right? Why not right at the palace? Start with the queen queen herself? If the top she dog isn't the one we're after then I bet she'll know, or have someone on hand that does, know where to find our target, right?
He asked as he walked alongside his mistress
And if nothing else we can always test the targets true loyalty to its own matriarch and take the head chick hostage. Should be fun if not productive.

He chuckled before shrugging

I'm just the pretty face boss, remember? When it comes to all this political cloak and dagger, I'm about as useful as a bump on a log...

He then stopped her my lightly taking her arm

But in all seriousness, I am trying to learn. Just want you to know that.. that you didn't choose wrongly and you're not wasting your time..

Kyrel couldn't help but find amusement in Tmoxin's tone the moment that Kyrel spoke. No matter he was right she had needed someone more of brute talents. To which he could only nod before responding to her. "I see then... As you wish, assuming this plan of yours go well." He said and the two did not continue the conversation, choosing to step forward from the platform, the woman and the dark warrior hardly noticed continued a steady pace towards the clinic. He had let her take the lead unlocking the door slowly opening it. Kyrel did not think much of the place, preferring to complete a step of the plan that he only vaguely knew of.

As soon as they were walked, Kyrel was astonished to see what looked to be someone in the spinning image of Tmoxin aside from the hair color and distinct features of her face. Tmoxin introduced him to her to which he had replied. "Greetings." He stood crossing his arms, as the young woman had responded back to which Kyrel did not respond. She had only given him a brief look of curiosity before Tmoxin had gained her attention. Kyrel listened in closely raising his eyebrow as they discussed the heritage council. The heritage council was only something he had known through the history he had read involving the Second Galactic Civil War and Darth Caedus. He couldn't help but be puzzled but did not respond any further. Only wishing for the plan of her's to play out.

All he had known for the very moment, is that he had come as the guardian of her holdings. To what use did that have for him he did not know. Funds were of no issue to him, but he didn't press further only replying with. "As you wish." He rather not they stood around, and so he pressed onwards with her to the palace, sensing other signatures other than his own, excitement at the thought of crushing anyone had filled him, but throughout the walk, he could feel Tha'Ga's eyes on him, curiously watching him. He tried to shake the feeling, and could even sense Tmoxin speaking to herself through the enhanced sensors of his mask. All he knew now was no words were needed. All those that faced him would die at his hand. More were coming he could sense it. Soon their enemies would either be coming to them or to the palace.

This wasn’t the first time that Khonsu had found himself shackled to a crash seat, and transported through the darkness of space towards an uncertain future. There was a time that he had been falsely imprisoned back when he stilled called Thyrsus his home, where a man that he thought was his brother had betrayed him in the grandest of ways. It was the catalyst that had thrown the Thyrsian onto walking the path of becoming a Sun Guard and eventually led him to claim the satisfaction of revenge. As he sat in contemplative silence, watching the chronometer tick towards its fateful terminus, the man began rattling his chains to keep his limbs from falling prey to the numbing embrace of sleep. He couldn’t afford to allow the ashes of his memories stir within the depths of his mind, they were apart of his past for a reason and had little use for the events of the present. Thus, in an effort to quell their sudden resurgence, the Tribune began reciting the myriad details of their plan, and what would transpire once they had reached the distant world of Hapes.

With his mouth moving wordlessly, and his mind visualizing the information he had acquired before this fateful transit through the mists had begun, Khonsu ended up losing track of time. It slipped through his fingers like the sands of his homeworld, and only returned when his dark eyes had opened to investigate the sudden commotion transpiring in the shuttle’s cockpit. While there was little that the Thyrsian could see from where he was seated, the man was able to make out the smallest details from between the gaps provided by segmented armour plating and the retracted door. He saw that the shuttle was engulfed by the blinding glory of the transitory mists and that their escort had awaited just beyond the horizon. The method of entry had been an old, and long thought abandoned path through the mists that were mapped out by a local sect of pirates. It allowed the Sun Guard and their ‘Hapan’ benefactors to move unseen by the greater Consortium, and blend into their surroundings - almost flawlessly.

Had they not been provided such a boon beforehand, it was doubtful that the Thyrsian Cohort would’ve made it past the outskirts of the mists without navigating themselves into some astrological anomaly that would’ve torn them apart.

While he wasn’t their culture’s greatest fan, Khonsu did appreciate the efforts they had taken upon themselves to smuggle the mercenary cadre into the cluster and would be sure to thank them once this dastardly plot was successful. Or, by some miracle should the worst occur, see to it that they were protected from retribution - either by offering them a place within the Golden Company, or fighting in their name once more… free of charge. However, the problem with living so far into the future was that one more often than not was slain before his dreams could become reality. With those words coming to mind, Khonsu found himself breathing in a greedy lungful of recycled air and expelling his thoughts with a forceful exhalation - leaving nothing but his stilled consciousness behind. It was a gesture that had played out amongst the entirety of the Cohort, as they too were fond of drifting into their own heads when there was little that was available to busy themselves with.

Thus, with their minds cleared and focused, Khonsu and his men sat silently as the shuttle was soon engulfed by the radiant alabaster hues of the Hapan cruiser. Even when the shuttle had slowly maneuvered through the hangar bay, and extended it’s four landing struts, they remained utterly - and eerily still. That all changed, however, as the transport’s landing gear had pressed down on the larger vessel’s flight deck, shooting jets of hydraulic steam into the magnetically contained atmosphere. They were ushered to their feet, at the behest of segmented armour and a blaster rifle to the ribs, and guided down the extended deployment ramp. Now, as they were one step closer towards completing their first objective, the Thyrsians began acting like the captured Hapan pirates - making sure that their mannerisms drew little suspicion outside the ordinary. Thankfully, with nothing more than passing glances and the odd quirked eyebrow, the holographically cloaked mercenaries had managed to pull off their ruse and found themselves stowed away into another, much larger transport.

When they had stepped onto the grated deck of the cargo transport, several of the figures that were chained, and seated inside looked up in alarm. “Hey!” One of them called out before one of the guards-women smashed the butt of their rifle into the back of their skull, seeking to silence his tongue and render the man unconscious. “That’s my face!”
