Faction Remembrance, Inheritors, Rebellion (EoTL, Ask to Join! Mandalorians Welcome!)

Tella felt the deaths of the four other perimeter guards through the Force, and the fact that none of the base guards had been alerted to their presence. A little sigh escaped her mouth in relief, it seemed Tibera had learned from Mon Calamari and TK-666 was proving to be more than your standard jump trooper. She would remember both of these facts as she planned out the next series of attacks in her head. Speaking into her commlink, she gave out the next set of orders.

“Roger that Tibera and TK-666, good kills. You two will take on the second shield generator to the left, I will take on the first one. Get as close as you can with stealth, but if you need to open fire to take out the generator and its guards, you can. The important thing is that it goes down so we can get air support. I'll have the rest of our ground team try to sabotage some of the turbolasers and ion cannon controls once the shields are down to make it easier for our air support to assist us."

As her two accomplices made their way to the second shield generator and its guards, Tella moved forward as well, aware through the Force and through her comms that the rest of the team had made it up the cliff and was now waiting for the shield generators to go down to rush in through the now unguarded perimeter and engage the enemy. She gave orders that as soon as the shields were confirmed down to move in to take down some of the air defenses to make their lives much easier once things popped off, then to prepare to strike across the base towards the generator that held the base's power supply.

Considering that I was speaking with enemies, this communication was going much smoother than anticipated. I believed the design of the Eternal Empire's warships would prevail if a battle would take place, but since the fall of the Empire these ships have not been maintained in the most optimal manner. They were nowhere near the original strength that they had when the Empire that made them and designed them still rulled the Unknown Regions and Outer Rim. For a moment they muted comms, and the holo images expanded to a more senior Commander on the bridge. I could not see much, but it appeared as if there was a heated discussion about my request. I stood rigidly as ever until the reply came afterwards. I could see the other side's representative being frustrated over something.

The address of "Ms." had me bristle a bit. A quick tense of frustration, and a brief furrowing of brows, but nothing more as I quickly returned to Kalidani stoicism. Having a respirator mask cover much of my face certainly helped portray such an image of cold strength much of the time, yet my new eye color made any expressions made there more obvious. However, I was glad my offer was taken. However, I took a moment's pause to calculate my next words carefully.

"Commander Gowrie. I will accept your terms if you would reciprocate such standards as well and recall your bomber squadrons. The strike craft will be receiving orders now to adjust course in order to return to the hangars."
I then briskly nodded over to the comms stations on the bridge where the workers soluted and carried out the deed. Within a few seconds the images showed the strike craft arching backwards in a returning flight path. The bombers, as shown by then, seemed to simply be stalled in their flight path after receiving the comms.
"I hope that was a sign of good faith. The Eternal Navy certainly taught its Officers to have a sense of honor. Can your form of Imperials say the same?"
I then looked close to see if that small dig at character would rouse anything out of these Imperials or not before continuing.
"Nonetheless, I shall arrive by escorted shuttle. While there is honor present, I would expect neither of us to arrive foolishly unguarded. My fleet may reposition during this time of transit to the coordinates of the negotiation. I look forward to meeting face to face as well, Commander Gowrie."
That last sentence was my cold conclusion before the comms were cut. While ground support from my Marines would have to be held off during this parley, there was the chance these Imperials could be turned to our side. Such a waste of manpower, munitions, and possible Officer talent if conflict escalated.

I then stood to leave the bridge with the workers present standing rigidly and giving the Eternal Empire salute.

"Back to work. You know your duties. Now fulfill them."
I would then briskly walk down the corridors of the ship to the hangar where the ship awaited me. Star's etherial form reappeared beside me.
"Are you sure about this Admiral? You are integral to this ship, my job is to ensure the saftey of this ship and all aboard it. If you leave, I cannot protect you."
"I tamed Lotho Minor while being on the surface, Star. You also know I have no fear of death. I have a duty to lead all aboard this ship, including you. The fighting and working men and women on this ship respect my orders both out of duty, and for me showing strength to aspire for. I have never been weak in front of them, and I will not start today."
"I understand Admiral. I hope you live though. I have grown quite fond of how well you have orchestrated the care of this ship. You should be pleased to know that I will bombard the enemy vessels personally if they take advantage of your vulnerability."
That last part unnerved me slightly. Not the fact Star's cheery demenour juxtaposed with the incredible threat of avenging me, but the fact that the AI was so willful. However, with that mentioned, I simply nodded respectfully to the image before Star became a vortex once more and vanished. From there, I boarded the shuttle, and we were off.

Zooming into the shield generator via the optics in her helmet, Priscilla quickly noted the positions of the guards stationed around it. There were three on her side and three on Tibera’s side. Given how efficiently the mysterious mercenary had slain the two guards patrolling along the wall, Priscilla trusted that she would be able to handle three, as well.

“Copy that.” Priscilla answered the Agent’s transmission. “This might be where we have to go loud.” The jet trooper added as she powered up her blaster rifle, the weapon giving a high-pitched, yet relatively quiet whine as she did.

“Mercenary, I can take the three guards on the west side of the generator.” Priscilla said after switching the channel to a point-to-point link. All the while, she hovered up to a vantage point on top of the building next to the shield generator, her armor’s camouflage coating changing color to keep her concealed within the blizzard. Then, the jet trooper locked onto the three troopers positioned at her side of the generator. No doubt, they were freezing given the weather (and their lack of temperature-controlled armor), but Priscilla did not intend to underestimate them.

“Ready on my mark.” She said, before pausing for a few seconds. “Mark!” Suddenly, a trio of Deathwasps flew out from her gauntlet, set on a course to strike the necks of the three soldiers. However, two of them were blown off-course by an inconvenient gust of wind, causing them to explode within the snow. The third hit its mark, at which it buried into the neck of a hapless, before going off in a small explosion that sent his decapitated head flying. However, a pair of green blaster bolts followed before the head hit the ground, striking down the two remaining soldiers one after the other, each given a surgical, lethal blast to the chest, their bodies falling into the snow with silent, wordless gasps on their lips.

“Targets down! I’ll set the charge! Cover me!”
