Strengths:
  • Shield Nullifier: Utilizing centuries of ancient research on anti-ray shield energy weaponry, the F-11E fires a bolt of superheated plasma that possesses an unconventional frequency, allowing it to phase through ray shields, particle shields, and concussion barriers without impediment.
  • Powerful Single Target Damage Potential: The F-11E is a powerful weapon, possessing the potential to burn through beskar, impervium, and phrik infantry armor along with many other exotic materials of extreme resilience.
  • Ionite and EMP Resistance: Another significant improvement of the F-11E over its ancient counterparts is its resistance to ionite and EMP-based assault. As a result, soldiers may no longer need to carry a kinetic-based sidearm into combat in anticipation of EMP blasts disabling their main weapon.
Weaknesses:
  • Extensive Reload: The F-11E has an extensive and detailed reloading sequence which requires the full focus of the soldier. This may be especially dangerous in close-quarters combat due to the unpredictable nature of such scenarios.
  • High Recoil: The F-11E has very high recoil that may be shocking to an inexperienced shooter.
  • Maintenance Schedule: Unlike the ancient, yet extremely reliable variant of the F-11, the F-11E is a delicate piece of equipment. Although the rifle can maintain normal operation in a vacuum and most forms of inclement weather, a deep cleaning cycle is recommended after every 200 shots or the weapon may begin to suffer from inaccuracy or misfires.
DESCRIPTION
The F-11E is a product of centuries of ancient research, channeled to create a standard issue rifle platform that grants soldiers the ability to effectively counter personal shielding technology. Research and development of the rifle was delayed due to the Ssi-ruuk plunder of former First Order territories. However, when the remnants of the First Order settled down on Pa’Desh, research was resumed after an influx of funding was processed from the disparate remnants of the First Imperial war machine. As a part of a renewed focus on conquest, militarism, and state survival, the F-11E was one of the many projects re-started in an effort to make the First Imperial infantry more lethal in the field.
