STRENGTHS
  • Armed to the max: With an astonishing 768 heavy turbolasers and a front facing Hypervelocity Gun, the Reaper-class Ultra Heavy Battlecruiser is perhaps the most heavily armed ship of its size throughout the entire galaxy
  • Armored: Each Reaper-class Ultra Heavy Battlecruiser is heavily armored, allowing the ship to survive significant punishment before being destroyed
  • Redundant: The Reaper-class Ultra Heavy Battlecruiser is equipped with multiple shield generator domes, making it difficult to fully knock out the ship's deflector shields
  • Defended: Rounding out the vessel's exceptional offensive abilities are 14 Tractor Beam Projectors, 276 Point Defense Laser Cannons and 384 Ion Cannon Batteries
  • Upgraded: The addition of B.A.M.T.O.P has significantly increased the already formidable combat powers of the Reaper-class Ultra Heavy Battlecruiser
  • Small(ish): For something so powerful the Reaper-class Ultra Heavy Battlecruiser is a relatively small targeting, maxing out at just over 2,500 kilometers in length
WEAKNESSES
  • One trick pony: The Reaper-class Ultra Heavy Battlecruiser does one thing and one thing only: firing as many turbolasers at a target as possible, leaving it highly specialized for its role
  • No ordinance: Despite its immense destructive potential, the Reaper-class Ultra Heavy Battlecruiser does not come equipped with any sort of ordinance or missile launchers
  • No support: The Reaper-class Ultra Heavy Battlecruiser is nearly incapable of holding any starfighters or support craft, coming equipped with nothing more than a single craft hangar
  • Slow: The Reaper-class Ultra Heavy Battlecruiser is quite slow moving rather unmaneuverable, making it nearly impossible to outrun anything it cannot outgun or properly target
  • Firing arc: The HVs-2 Hypervelocity Gun is fixed facing the front of the ship, requiring the entire vessel to turn in order to aim the weapon at enemy targets
  • Priority target: The Reaper-class Ultra Heavy Battlecruiser is a magnet for enemy fire on account of how heavily armed it is and how dangerous it can potentially be
DESCRIPTION

With the alarming trend of naval forces building small numbers of obscenely powerful ships continuing unabated, the Mahporeem Imperial Remnant has sought to ensure that it is not left behind in the process. Though in possession of the MIN Collateral Star, and a number of capital ships sourced from the Trade Federation, the Imperial Remnant has continued to build ships in order to counter these emerging threats, with their newest example being the Reaper-class Ultra Heavy Battlecruiser.

Cobbled together from the hulls of no less than four Imperial I-class Star Destroyers, the Reaper-class Ultra Heavy Battlecruiser was designed to do one thing and one thing only: to lay down as much fire at its enemies as possible. To this end, the Reaper-class Ultra Heavy Battlecruiser is equipped with an absurd amount of weaponry for a ship of its size: a power forward facing HVs-2 Hypervelocity Gun, 768 heavy turbolasers, which is more than the Collateral Star is equipped with, and a large number of point defense lasers, ion cannons and tractor beam projectors. The Reaper-class Ultra Heavy Battlecruiser can handle entire fleets by itself, all in a relatively compact pack of just over 2.5 kilometers in length.

Such specialization does, naturally, come with a heavy price. The Reaper-class Ultra Heavy Battlecruiser does not contain any sort of ordinance launchers and is essentially incapable of holding and starfighters or support craft, being equipped only with a pathetic single craft hangar in order to allow visitors and VIPs to board the ship if necessary. The Reaper-class Ultra Heavy Battlecruiser is similarly slow and unmaneuverable, making it an enticing target for anyone with a brain.

At the moment, the high expense and complexity of making such large "ugly" type ships has greatly limited the production run of the Reaper-class Ultra Heavy Battlecruiser, with the Imperial Remnant being in possession of only two examples in total. Whether or not these ships will justify their existence remains to be seen, but for the moment, their presence at least allows the Imperial Remnant to counter the mobile fortress vessels of their many enemies, both nearby and far, far away.
