  • Stealth Incarnate: Even without the active stealth systems on, the suit is very hard to see, hear, smell, or have any range of sensor detect it. With the stealth systems activated, this becomes next to impossible: Under certain conditions.
  • Well Rounded Defense: The suit offers limited protection against a wide range of attacks. Most grazing attacks can be shrugged off for a short time before the suit becomes damaged. It can even protect against a fatal wound. Also, it is very well defended against environmental threats. And, when all else fails, its shield can be deployed.
  • Airtight: The suit can withstand vacuum and is basically self-sufficient when it comes to air supply. With an emergency supply able to hold five hours' worth of air, and a circulator and cleaner, it can stay in hazardous areas almost indefinitely. This also makes it impossible for the occupant to be smelled or leave any DNA evidence so long as the suit is intact.
  • Technologically Superior: The suit has a wide range of built-in sensors, secure comm devices, slicing components, cybersecurity modules, voice modulators, holographic disguises, and so much more. It's infiltration system even gives it the ability to go through most types of shields. This gives it an edge over many other types of armor.
  • Agility: The suit is flexible, lightweight, and designed with agility in mind. The micro-repulsors in the hands in feet give it the capacity to run quicker, and jump higher than normal, as well as to change trajectory suddenly, to make it hard to hit. The Ultralight propulsion systems makes it so few places are out of reach.

  • Damage: While the suit provides a well-rounded defense, it is not anywhere close to impervious. It was designed to protect more against glancing blows and environmental threats, as such it won't be able to take on powerful weapons, and a solid shot or two into the less armored sections, even with smaller weapons can severely compromise the integrity of the suit, and its wearer.
  • The Force: The suit itself does not protect the wearer much against force powers. It also does nothing to stop a force user from sensing the wearer.
  • Power Constraints: The suit cannot use its shielding and Propulsion systems while its active stealth systems are engaged. It simply lacks the power generation for that.
  • Slow and Steady: The armor's stealth systems, especially its active system, requires a slow/stationary movement to go undetected. The faster the user goes, the more likely they will be spotted as the air distorts, or as a ghost sensor ping goes off, etc. Also, at a run, the sound dampening systems don't work at all, meaning you can hear the wearer.
  • Distance: The further the distance from people the more foolproof the armor is. However, at close distances there are a lot of ways to detect the armor, such as pressure variations, feeling the air move as the wearer moves by, slight distortions in the light. This armor cannot be used to sneak right by guards that are alert and not distracted.
  • Let's be honest: Let's be honest. While the suit renders the user next to impossible to detect, the actions the wearer makes WOULD be. This is manipulating an object, opening a door, firing a weapon and so on. It does not prevent someone from seeing these things.

The Eternal Empire's Engineering Corps designed a suit specifically for Katella. It's small in size and contains a test bed of numerous technological gizmos. The start of the suit itself is an airtight and skintight, armorweave/shell spider silk weave body suit with a coating of Synthweave over it. This provided a much-needed level of protection, and made sure the armor was airtight, able to withstand a vacuum, and did not allow the users smell to be released. An over jumpsuit was made of a good mixture of susurra-weave, baffleweave, and shadowsilk, to help create the initial layer of stealth. These helped muffle the sounds, defeat sensors, and began the visual distortion process. Spacer's leather was used to help reinforce the joint areas.

On the outer layer, thin plates of stygian-triprismatic polymer, impregnated with durinium protected the most vital areas, such as the chest, back, feet, hands, and head. These strong metals also provided more baffling to sensors, and even helped absorb sounds. Finally, a final layer of shadow silk was added into a hood, and jacket, to help further break up the visual and auditory patterns.

Everything was then coated in Reflec, to help it avoid passive sensor detection altogether. The layering of the materials made it hard to hear the armor when a user was careful, next to impossible to smell them, hard for active and passive sensors to detect, and in low light conditions difficult to see. It was then reinforced with a large amount of technology that gave it even further sound cancelling capabilities and a stealth system that was all but impossible to detect at range, so long as the operative was careful.

Added into the mix was a protective shield, a personal propulsion system, micro-repulsors to allow stronger physical attacks, as well as more speed/jump/bounciness on the ground, and cybersecurity to help keep it from being able to be taken over by counter slicers. The comms had some of the best encryption money could buy, and a mind stone link with her handler, so all updates to command could be near untraceable. Sensors, artifical sensory devices, and so much more were also added in.

It could keep its wearer alive with a medical system, It could even slide through shields giving it access to more places, slice into databases and locks, and so much more. As a prototype, it was also designed to be modular, so that as the engineers found its faults and shortcomings, it could be easily upgraded.
