Valery blinked, but before she could say anything, the world stopped spinning. Her eyes opened, and she was back in bed, gaze focused on the ceiling. Then, she groaned loudly. Their intimacy earlier had knocked her out pretty well to get some sleep, but now she felt just a little sore.

He had been gentle, but he was still far bigger than she was.

"Babe, maybe it wasn't her fault I saw those visions. It did happen because of my bond to our son. So, please don't beat her up before we know for certain?" She chuckled, and turned her head to him while she remained mostly still on her back.

"...can you help me get up and get dressed? I'm not going there in pyjamas."

Kahlil_Div2.png

"If it's not her fault, then she's fine. But she continued to speak riddles, after everything. I'm not a fan of it, of anyone disrupting your sleep." He grumbled as he sat up in bed, frowning further. They weren't going to let this continue anymore, not if he had a say in this. And he did. Eventually he let out a sigh before smiling to Valery and nodding his head.

Regardless of his feelings, they were going to have to head out and solve it. He reached a hand out to help her to her feet.

"Let's get you dressed, then."

Valery looked at him for a moment and shifted over to kiss his cheek, "I appreciate how concerned you are about me," she said with a genuine, warm smile. Valery didn't like it when people made her feel weak or helpless, but now that she was pregnant, she was definitely very vulnerable.

She needed his protection now, and she very much needed her rest, too. It made her understand his frowns and grumbling, even if it was likely going to be just fine.

They would find those people.

"Thanks, love." She got up to her feet with his help and changed into some comfortable, Epicanthix clothes. No battle gear - she wasn't going to be fighting at all anymore. "I'm going to be alright, so don't worry too much, okay?" She smiled, but knew he probably would until she slept better.

"Let's take the Bastion and head out there? Not sure what we're looking for, but hopefully we'll see a sign of some kind, huh?"

Kahlil_Div2.png

"I'm always going to worry, you know."

Kahlil let out a sigh as he looked towards Valery once they were ready to leave. She was right, he shouldn't worry as much as he was, but he wasn't going to stop. It's just how he was. He took her hand in his as they made their way to the Bastion and he nodded. At least they knew where they were going, mostly.

"Let's do that. It'd be the best way to do it. I'm sure they're going to send a sign for us."

"I know, especially now," Valery said before she placed her hand over her stomach. Then blinked, and looked down. "He kicked..." she said with a chuckle. "Maybe he knows we're doing this for him, huh?" It was a silly thought, but one that gave her a very stupid, and a very happy smile. As they got seated in the cockpit of the Bastion, she reached out to take her husband's hand and placed it over her stomach too.

Another kick.

"I do really hope they'll show us a sign. What we saw was the future, so that lady should still be very young, right? Just like our son." She sighed and got comfortable in her chair.

"The things we saw, do they worry you?"

Kahlil_Div2.png

"I wouldn't be surprised. Our kids are pretty smart."

Kahlil chuckled and nodded as he got the Bastion set up for takeoff and had it leaving their little spaceport section close to the house. In between trying not to absolutely ogle over the kicks his little boy was currently doing. There were few things that could distract him as much as that. Then, he smiled. Just a little one, but a smile none the less.

"They don't, no."

"They really are," Valery said with a soft smile. She looked down at her husband's hand settling on her belly, and let out a soft breath when she felt their son move again. Almost as if he was saying hi to both his Mom and Dad. The smile that formed was the same as Kahlil's, and for a moment, she was able to forget all of her worries.

These were the good things in life.

Looking back up, Valery nodded, "Then I'm not worried either. It's hard to really think straight when you're tired, and when you see so much of it. It makes you convince yourself that it is going to happen." She sighed and looked at the stars as they passed through Hyperspace together.

"This time, I want to give birth to our child at home, if you're okay with it too. It won't be long anymore."

"So long as we have a doctor there, at least on standby."

There was no telling what trouble there could be with childbirth. That at least would help him stay calm through it all. He squeezed her hand, smiled warmer than before. They were going to have a son. Together. It didn't matter if it was again.

"We've got this, though. We really do."

Valery smirked, knowing the doctor was there mostly to help him feel at ease, "Of course. I just want to be home because it's comfortable and I hate hospitals. But just to be safe, we'll have someone over to assist." She smiled and looked down at her stomach one more time, while her hands shifted over it to feel their son kick and move.

She couldn't wait to hold him in her arms. Though, they did still need a name for him. A discussion for later, for sure.

"We should be getting close now. Argazda has some interesting history, but I wonder who we'll be meeting for this. I have a feeling we might know once we land." She looked over and flashed a grin, "Another Noble adventure, huh?"

Kahlil_Div2.png

"Hopefully not too much of an adventure."

The last had them go into a completely different galaxy and even had Valery poisoned and near death. that wasn't something he wanted to go through again, especially with her being pregnant. But he smiled all the same. "It'll be fun, though, hopefully. Or I'm beating up some random ladies."

"Maybe not all of them are ladies~" Valery teased with a grin, "But please don't beat them up unless they really deserve it. I need these visions to go away, or at least be controlled, and if they can help..." She knew that he wouldn't actually just beat up some women, though he was very protective of her. Especially now that she was carrying their child.

Those people better behave.

"It will be fun, though. I always like going on trips with- WAIT." She blinked and frantically looked around, then panic seemed to kick in pretty hard.

"...I forgot the jelly. Babe, we have to go back." She seemed dead serious about it.

Kahlil_Div2.png

"Doesn't matter. Whoever they are, if they're tormenting you when they had any other option, I'm beat them up." It was that simple to him. All it needed was literally any other avenue and he wouldn't be very forgiving at all to these strangers. Though, he ended up laughing as he glanced towards her. The Jelly. Of course the Jelly.

"The fridge is full, don't worry. I wasn't taking my pregnant wife anywhere without a silly amount of jelly."

Valery snickered and just shook her head a little. He could be awfully stubborn when it concerned her safety, and she wasn't about to question it. She knew that if the roles had been reversed, and it had been her acting all protective, nothing he could have said or done would have changed her mind.

She'd have also very much beaten people up for him. Especially if they were weird to him or looked the wrong way, let alone keep him up or torment his dreams at night.

"Really?" She squealed happily, then scooted closer and pressed her lips against his cheek, "Mwaaaaah," she said as she kissed him with a grin. "I love you so much, be right back!" Pregnancy wouldn't stop her from being fast, as she went to get herself a jar of jelly. And a spoon, this time, if only because it let her eat bigger bites

Not a minute later, she was happily eating jelly, as they arrived over the planet.

"Hmmm, don't feel anything yet," she said with a mouth full of delicious jelly. "Maybe we need to get closer?"

Kahlil_Div2.png

Kahlil just laughed as he watched her rush off to get her jelly. It was silly for sure to see, but it made him happy to see her smile, especially after everything with her dreams. Once she came back and they dropped from hyperspace though he nodded, glancing down to the planet with a frown. Nothing yet. That meant a delay.

"We'll get closer. They shouldn't keep us waiting, though."

Valery squinted when she sat down with her jar of jelly, "You think it's funny, huh?" She asked, though with a smirk. It was kinda funny, of course, but she liked poking at him when he was poking at her. Not that he'd blush over something like this. He fully accepted the fact that he teased his wife.

Even when she was pregnant.

The two then made their way down, but as Kahlil broke through the atmosphere, he'd feel a strange pull in the Force - something that guided him into the mountain range of the largest continent. Atop the mountains there, stood a single monastery.

People were already gathered outside, dressed in robes that covered their tattood skins, and they all wore masks similar to the woman they had seen in Valery's vision.

"I was going to say thay they were maybe not expecting us, but..." she smiled sheepishly.

"Very, why?" Kahlil smiled innocently, though the smile didn't quite reach his eyes as they made their way to the surface. He certainly didn't trust these people. And once they made their way down the ramp and saw them there, waiting for the two of them, his expression tightened further. "You've a lot of explaining to do, but first you're going to make sure Valery can have a good rest, without you hounding her dreams. There is no negotiation on this."

Valery rolled her eyes, "Teasing me over my jelly cravings comes at a price. Maybe no fun for you tonight~" she grinned and without another word, stood up to start heading down the ramp. People were already waiting for them outside, and Valery was going to greet them politely. But Kahlil was a bit quicker, and was very straightforward about how he felt, and what he wanted from them.

"... what my dear husband meant, is that we'd like to figure out what is going on, and make it stop. Right, love?" She squinted just a little at him. Valery appreciated his concern and how much he wanted to help, but potentially scaring these people off would do them no good.

One of the masked figures, meanwhile, just looked at Kahlil, "Simply because it is us she sees at night, does not imply it is us who makes her see. Is it not?" He asked with a friendly smile under his mask.

"Who are you?" Valery wiickly asked, hoping he wasn't just annoying Kahlil even more.

"We are Vianists."

".. For now."

Kahlil grumbled, just a little. It wasn't a good idea to take out his frustration on these people, she was right about that. It wasn't their fault that she had those visions, that much was true. It was that one specific woman. Who wasn't here yet. That would be the person he'd be making problems for. "Where is the woman who has been showing her visions in her sleep? What is it that you need? And, most importantly, where can she sleep? We're not doing anything to help until she gets a good night sleep, I wasn't kidding about that."

"I will smack you..." Valery whispered back, but everything these Vianists would see is a very warm smile. In truth, Valery wasn't terribly upset with them, and merely wanted to find a way to solve her problems. She wanted to be able to sleep again. Kahlil, however... was quite forward about what he thought.

The Vianists looked at him, blinked under their masks, but Valery just smiled some more.

That was her hubby, alright.

"We'd be happy to offer your wife a place to sleep. As for the woman you mentioned..." the leading figure turned, and another appeared with a baby in her arms. "Your wife has seen the future. A meeting between your son and our daughter," the man explained.

"She is a child."

Valery blinked and snickered just a little, before she squeezed her husband's hand, "Maybe it wasn't her who showed me those visions, babe? What if it all revolves around the bond I feel to our son?"

Kahlil_Div2.png

Kahlil took a single, deep breath as he saw the child. A baby. Some how tied to his own unborn child, showing a future to Valery filled with fear. He couldn't blame a child. He would never blame a child.

".. Perhaps. But it is important you find sleep now, my love. That's what matters right now."
