Our numbers will Blacken the skies of every world....[Graug Hegemony Razing of Coruscant]

The rotating canon had got him to the temple steps. He was within sight now of the enemy harvest ship. He clenched his big jaw and released it heavy muscles working as he started sweeping up the steps toward the Graug warriors.

"HEY YOU UGLY, LIMP LIMBED, DI'KUT SHABUIRS!" he called his voice amplified by his helmets audio.

Ordo began pouring fire at the backs of the warriors on the steps, while blasters from the temple began pouring from the other side catching many Graug in a Cross fire.

"COME GET SOME REAL MEAT!" ordo was looking at the big uglier than usual red monkey lover. While he swept the graug troops.

Senate Building

"Senator, I'm going to seriously question your intelligence on this one. What were you thinking; honestly?" The Jedi known as Preacher was a known Corellian citizen. What was less known was who exactly he was under the 'citizen' category. Why he was here now, however, was a matter the Senator could probably do without.

Sarge kept tabs on the legal representatives of his adoptive homeworld - it may or may not be a holdover from his days serving Ayden. Ok, it was definitely a holdover; but manipulating politics at a planetary level wasn't exactly something you forgot how to do. The same tricks that worked then, worked now.

It was just a bit more time consuming.

And the dear Senator in front of him had been caught with his hand in the cookie jar. . . like an idiot.

"Scratch that. Don't answer. Don't want to. . ." He trailed off as air raid sirens began to wail, sirens that likely hadn't gone off since Omni had decided he was going for his Invasion Redux. There was no way this was good. On his feet in an instant, the man took long strides towards the windows at the back of the office, craning his neck skyward to where the planetary shield was taking tremendous amounts of fire from a fleet in orbit.

A fleet that was sending dropships down.

And of course the Senate building was going to be a target. It would always be a target. "I'd suggest upending your desk." The Senator stared blankly at him. Turning sharply he shoved the man out of the way and flipped the desk so that the top of it faced the door. Pulling the hidden blaster from under the desk, he smacked it into the hand of the Senator. "No one gets in here alive that isn't a Jedi. I don't care who they say they are."

The Senator finally managed to compose himself enough to nod and begin preparing the weapon. He wasn't afraid, but Sarge had certainly caught him off guard with the sudden purpose to everything he was doing.

Reaching a hand up to his earpiece, he sighed and went to contact the only other Jedi in the building - a woman protecting the Senator from Shili. "Sumalee. Tell me you're not the only Jedi around right now." The sinking feeling in his gut told him that she was. It would have to do. Already he could hear roaring and blaster fire from the massive circular landing area outside.

Drawing his saber and thumbing the activation, a brilliant silver blade erupted from the hilt and he marched to the door and opened it. A graug on the other side roared his displeasure at having to deal with a Jedi. A roar that was cut off by a swift decapitation and a Force Push to clear the body from his way.

So that's who this was. The Graug.

This had 'Sith Remnant' written all over it. He was already doing mental math; more than a trillion citizens on Coruscant, no more than a few million Graug - anything larger would have been seen coming long before it reached Coruscant. Planetary shields. Defense Forces. Jedi. Seat of the Republic.

This was a terror attack. It would work until the Graug were beaten back. Anyone could get onto a planet if there were enough bodies thrown its way; sticking around was going to be the tricky part. Whatever they were up to, it was only successful if they incited mass panic in the long run.

That made his a considerably easier situation to handle. "You might need a bigger gun, Senator." A pair of Senate security soldiers were already headed his way down the hall, so he imagined the Senator would be safe for now. Now he just had to find the other Jedi.

Ah,Courscant, home of the Republic, but also Noah's birthplanet. He had toiled for thirteen years as a commando to keep the planet safe and now some butthurt species he had never heard about was attacking? It would be cute if it wasn't for the fact that the Graug were killing civvies. So now here he was inside the Jedi Temple helping to get any younglings to safety before the Graug inveitably came to the temple.

Sochi had just returned from Felucia. She was back and forth, there was many plans the council had for her and Felucia, and she was still teaching the native shaman to further resist the darkside, not only that but there was still infighting within the tribe as they still tried to capture the corrupted natives. While in her personal quarters, she began to meditate, something she loved to do in her past time. While pondering the mysteries of the force, she felt a shudder. A shudder strong enough to knock her out of her focus and lose concentration. This was followed by the sound of gunfire, and explosions. She hurried and made her way around the temple to further find answers, but she was met with information relaying the sudden attack on Coruscant by some unknown force. Possibly some remnants of the Empire, but how could they have recovered so fast to launch an attack like this. No, this was something else.

She decided to join in with the defense of The Temple. She would aid in the defense of the Great Hall. It didnt take long for the enemy to make their way to the entrance. She quickly ignited her lightsaber and ran into the fray. She began using Ataru so manuver herself acrobatically through the fray of enemy fire. She coupled this form with Shien. The enemy know as the "Graug" approached her and she moved quick in order to dispatch them. She returned enemy fire with her weapons, returning the bolts back to the sender and then proceeded to enagage the Graug. She manuvered her body around the sudden thrust of the jaws of the creature. This was followed by the quick jab of her saber into the side of the beast.

Aika Kawakami

Can one find true light when shadowed in darkness?
Senate Building

Well, this had certainly been made a mess of...

Aika turned the corner, two Senate commandos leading her way. She had been unsure of who was the cause of the sudden attack, but one thing was for sure; the intention was the get the attention of the Jedi and Republic as a whole. Such an attack, which seemed so unorganized in nature, wouldn't bring about the downfall of the Republic. Obviously, there were other objectives abound, ones that eluded her to this point.

"You! Hold it!" The commandos shouted as they raised their weapons at the sight the senator and the being that had essentially been a bodyguard. "Wait! Lower your weapons!" Her eyes fell upon the figure recognizing him. Even though she had never spoken to the male, she'd seen him before within the confines of the temple. With the Senate guards to both her sides, Aika approached, hands clasped behind her back as she moved toward him. "You. I have seen you before, around the temple. Tell me. Exactly what is going on here? Things have gone from calm to a full on state of emergency."

Roof top / Temple steps
Morning meditation on the temples roof, as was custom from Padawan training to tame his dark side use, turned to witnessing retaliation. Ships broke through the atmosphere like daggers against the pale blue. Getting to his feet turned into running across the roof top. Leaps bounded him further and further towards the entrance side of the building. The scale of the temple made his journey longer than he would have liked. By the time he arrived he saw pods slamming upon the ground at the entrance while Jedi fought beneath and died. Lights in the force releasing and adding light of great men and women into the very existence of the force. A long stride to the end of the roof and a huge leap with the force sent him sailing forward descending rapidly head first. Ben had always hated how he jumped into things but the force waited for no one and influenced all.

Wind whipped at his body and black jedi robes. Light saber held in his right palm. He was ready to kill to protect the life of his friends bellow. Hundreds of feet of open sky separated him and his target. Eyes were nothing more than slits as he descended steadily down further story after story. Glows of blades deflecting the on coming assault filled his vision though peace consumed his heart. Flames erupted around the temples entrance. A blast moved past him stiffening his robes for a full second and hitting him in the face. His current height above the battle field saved him from injury. Smoke bellowed from the flames covering his form. Faster and faster he fell. His body approached the monster that was causing havoc for the soldiers fighting back. The creature had no way of consuming it's energy unlike A'donari. Poor creature.

Ten feet above the beast A'donari's blade hissed to life just in time to cut into the flesh. Simultaneously a force wave erupted from his body slamming into the creatures open skull and reverberating his body backwards enough to slow his fall to a near safe speed. The squishy guts and muscle of the massive beast cushioned the rest. Jagged bones stuck out all around A'donari's crouching body. None had stabbed him. The force was on his side. He moved forward away from the entrance towards a group of Jedi who were greatly out numbered by creatures out of nightmares. Slime and blood soaked robes dropped from his shoulders as his body moved fluently wielding Soresu and deflecting shots around his personal space. A great force of Dark stood less than twenty feet on the opposite side of the fighting but that didn't stop him. A'donari knew the Jedi Knight he was. A beacon of light and a Guardian for those in need. Mentally he released from feeling or thought connecting to the purity of the force. Eyes erupted hot white as a sign of the forces control of his movements. Stepping forward brought A'donari next to a Jedi Padawan, who's Knight had just been crushed before his very eyes, on the front line. A'donari moved before the boy; staring down the Red demon. His energy immediately centered and welled a massive strength within before releasing a second wave at the mass of Dark side energy walking forward. A simple command was spoken to the child, "Run."

He heard @[member="Vexander Graves"], though he said nothing and continued to cleave the graug that were in front of him in half. And when he started to form thoughts of how the other Jedi Knight should just think about holding down the Temple's entrance with the other Jedi and Vanguards, instead of trying to muster an army to charge to their death. But whatever got a Knight fighting was fine by him. As long as Antares didn't need to fight him himself.

When his thoughts had been processed he had knocked to the floor by a single graug and skidded on his butt a few feet. He was up in a moment and pulled the graug to him through the Force, barely pulling him however, more like unbalancing his weight on his feet, and then releasing his lightsaber in a saberthrow towards the graug that had knocked him down.

Antares followed his lightsaber quickly and he leapt over the graug when the lightsaber decapitated it, and he caught his lightsaber just as he landed and plunged it behind him upwards, into the chest of another graug. When he stepped away he turned his head back to see, @[member="Sochi Ru"], and @[member="Vexander Graves"] cutting swathes of the Graug as well. Good. They would hold the Grand Jedi Temple's entrance with their Vanguards and any other Jedi who had joined with them. It seemed when home was attacked, the children came running to defend her.

The battle was fierce, and the whole team of Jedi were successfully holding the entrance to the Great Hall. Such area was extremely important for the defense and the team was not giving un anything at all.

Vexander looked at the Jedi around him with the Force. He could sense them and feel their desire, the hardships and drops of sweat that fell from their foreheads. At that very moment, each one of them with their senses and their skills enhanced by the Force... A moment where he would feel that they were like one.

The corellian Knight looked to his right shoulder just when he finished a small duel with a kraug soldier, and he noticed a huge lunge of a hammer of the size of an old and ancient anvil, he barely had time to drop and dodge but the next part... he didn't expected that. Another graug came and released an uppercut straight to his jaw. The whole area shook and his teeth felt like shattered... Taking a couple of steps back he took the momentum to regain his breath and to avoid further attacks... But the enemies were relentless... They both charged at him at the same time to perform another joint attack.

Before they could even get close, the Knight decided that he would use something to his advantage. Using the Force, he took a nearby boulder from a destroyed columna and threw it at the graug with the hammer, the hit landed in his head and it confused the creature long enough for Vex to throw himself with a slash to his head... The leap with the help of the Force send him flyng far enough to pass his blade in his throat decapitating him... Inmediately, the Jedi turned around and threw his lightsaber that landed in the back of the second graug hitting his spine and instantly killing him...

Using the Force once more with his amazing control of telekinesis, he summoned bsck his blade and placed himself in makashi's opening stance while he regained his breath.

Shouting at all the Jedi and soldiers, Vex decides that they had to do something to defend the Temple more effectively "We need to push them outside of this sacred ground! Out to the streets!"

Senate Building -- @[member="Sarge Potteiger"] - @[member="Aika Kawakami"] - @[member="Sumalee"]

The Sith Lord walked up the steps to the Senate Building. A solitary darkly clad figure. Every other Graug that he had come with had already charged forwards towards the Jedi Temple and those who had gone to the Senate Structures were already inside them and 'harvesting' their occupants. If they could. He had business in the Senate. Diplomacy would have to be burnt to the ground.

Arvis Syphex walked into the first floor of the Senate building, graug and senate commandos littered the ground in the lobby. He spared no looks for them however, his legs instead carried him into a lift and when it lifted him up to the second floor and the doors opened he walked out with a single purpose. To kill every single person on that floor. Senators would be ideal.

Darth Naefas remained silent and when his long strides carried him around the corner, he called upon the dark side of the Force to send several senate commandos down the hallway who were trying to form a redoubt in a hallway that happened to be an intersection.

[ Sumalee. Tell me you're not the only Jedi around right now ]

Twin blades hissed through the air, crossing as Sumalee gave a vicious outward pull, effectively slicing the Graug in half. His remains fell with a dull thud on the floor, the scent of seared flesh tickling the Togruta's nostrils. Her jaw set, citrine eyes narrowing upon the Horde as Preacher's voice crackled through her comm.

"We do not stand alone. But we are few." she told him, her wrists giving a twist as the blades gave a twirl in front of her. There were other Jedi here who were assigned to protect the Senators.

"Knight Kawakami is near," she informed him, taking a couple of steps back, her off white robles, which were more of a modest adaptation to Togruta traditional dress, left her legs bare and free, for ease of movement, the strips of fabric brushing against her bare skin.

Behind her, she heard the Senator gave a hiss, and Sumalee turned her head only to see an enemy attack the offical. However, Togruta were of sterner stock. They were born and bred as predators, as evidenced by the quick manner that even without a traditional saber, the Senator was able to put down the Graug soldier.

Sharp teeth bared in a grin, as the Shili Senator merely gave her own Nexu grin, "I am a hunter first and foremost, Padawan Sumalee." she told her. Sumalee gave a nod.

"Nonetheless, we must get you to safety, along with the other Senators," Sumalee told her, nodding towards the hallway that would lead to a deep secured building reinforced for these exact situations.

"Go, I shall ensure you are not followed." Sumalee told her, turning back to the Horde as blaster fire came in a volley at her. Both blades soon went dancing in deflecting the energy bolts, but she was no master of the blade yet. A hiss went ripping from her mouth as a bolt scrapped her shoulder.

Hall of Healers to the Main Entrance

Rianna and the intiates ran through the halls of the temple, Rianna directing them to follow other Jedi to ensure that they had healers with them, just in case. Rianna for a moment faltered as she felt the nearness of Ord'ika. Once again he was defending the temple, aiding the Jedi she hoped that they all saw all his efforts.

Rianna calmed her mind, and moved toward the main hallway, she stared the entrance way to the temple she could feel the sense of need, to maim, hurt and kill just beyond. Rianna held her lightsaber in her hand, never ignite unless you're ready to fight, to die, and to kill.

Behind Rianna three of the healer initiates, opening the doors would be inviting them in. They would not. "There is another way to the front steps" Rianna looked to her left there was a hall that lead to an outer door half way down the temple front. Leaving two initiates at the doors, Rianna and the others headed for the hallway to head outside.

Darth Naefas heard the blaster fire and his footsteps hurried. It got to the point where he pulled his amphistaff off of his back and started to run. When his hand moved along the length of the amphistaff, it went into one of it's three forms which was the spear. And when he turned the corner he saw a retreating figure, bright colours traditionally belonging to the Jedi flashing about, and a group of Graug.

Well the odds didn't seem that fair. The Force empowered his legs and he dodged and weaved through the Graug until he just halted their progress with the Force. The Dark Side of the Force was a powerful tool. Especially when your allies bowed to the power of the dark side, and when they seemingly started to return back down the hallway, Darth Naefas growled until they formed their own defensive position at the intersection that Naefas had been at previously and were no doubt completing the job that the Senate Commandos hadn't had the time to finish.

"Jidai." Was his only warning when he turned his gaze upon @[member="Sumalee"]. He stepped forwards and thrusted forwards with the at her midsection. ((More or less to the right side of her body.)) When it came closer to her, the snake's head, that was capable of spitting venom up to twenty meters released it's venom. Straight to her face, and sense he doubted the Padawan would be able to dodge it, he switched the grip, expertly and swung it around his back so that it came to strike at her on her other side, to her leg.

OOC: The spear is still stabbing btw, it's just also spitting venom as well. I don't think I made that clear in my post. :)

"Oh put the karking weapons down, you idiots." The masked man with the silver blade barks, glaring at the Senate commados from behind his facial covering. "Graug are invading with Sith. I can sense one nearby. Let's go." His words were lightning quick, spoken by a man already sprinting towards the entrance of the building, saber digging a furrow in the ground behind him.

Coming in towards Sumalee, he could hear the characteristic hum of a lightsaber and hear Graug and Commandos still fighting. He had to be in the right place.

Smirking, he came around a corner in time to see his least favorite Sith - the one with Vong toys. A cloud of venom seemed to hang in mid air as everything seemed to slow around him; it was a curious affect, one he'd noted occurred during fighting due to his enhanced reflexes and senses.

Turning off his saber midsprint, he instead gave a roar of pain as a pair of fighting claws erupted from his forearm, swinging upward to where the Amphistaffs head met its body as the Sith swung it for Sumalees leg. Strong as amphistaffs were, they wouldn't stop a set of fighting claws driven by Vong enhanced muscles - at least not for long.

A series of expletives streamed from his tongue in the Vong tongue, the harsh and guttural language no doubt harsh on the ears of those around. This was a surprise, plain and simple; this wasn't going to end the fight.

That was up to Sumalee.

Like a Jeco darting in from the night, Preacher's fighting claws came streaking through the air at the same time Sumalee gave a twirl of her body to avoid the spit of the venom.

With a flutter of her robes, she spun like a top on the balls of her bare feet, coming back around as her sabers readied for the next attack. She didn't pause, as a hunter, as a Togruta, they fought at their best when in packs.

This was a Jedi Pack, her pack. They would fight as one. One could only hope that Knight @[member="Aika Kawakami"] would join them soon.

With a snarl and a hiss, the young padawan completed her turn, her blades singing a song of battle, humming through the air as they both came to slash straight at the Sith's torso, much like an axe felling a tree. She put her entire strength into it, going for sheer brutality that the 2.36m and 142 kilograms muscled woman could muster.

This was no disabling blow, but a killing blow, intended to cut the Sith directly in half.

Naefas heard the roar of pain while he was striking at the Padawan's leg. It put him off, something he didn't expect from the defenders of the Republic, and he was already pulling his amphistaff back around to his other head, the head disappearing from it's previous position and being replaced with it's 'tail' and it just let one of the fighting claws slide along the amphistaff until being knocked to the side.

Yellow eyes looked out to the two Jedi and his hand slid along the length of the amphistaff. His amphistaff was longer and the Padawan was trying to perform a Sai Tok. Not today, and he brought the amphistaff upwards long before it came anywhere near him that would make him uncomfortable. When he blocked the attack, he angled the amphistaff so that, @[member="Sumalee"]'s blades would slide along the length of the amphistaff.

Releasing one hand from the amphistaff, he released a force wave to both of the Jedi, though primarily to the Padawan since she was more or less in front of him and then he stepped backwards again.

@[member="Sarge Potteiger"]

OOC: Holding the amphistaff by the head's side. Not holding it properly.

Gathering the younglings and protecting them!

@[member="Talon Vosra"] @[member="Nasika Serizawa"] @[member="Noah Corek"]

"Hurry younglings!" Kira's voice went echoing throughout the normally silent meditation chambers, one little male Bith youngling by the name of Ako in her arms. A dozen of younglings ranging from age five to ten hurried alongside her, the pitter patter of tiny feet resonating throughout the main meditation hall.

"Master Kira, there's too many." pipped Jarai, a seven year old Twi'lek of the most beautiful olive hue.

Kira gave her a small smile of encouragement, "Don't worry, Jarai... I got a couple of tricks up my sleeve!" she promised her, motioning with her hand just over the crown of her lekku to move forward.

That's when one of the younglings up ahead gave a startled cry. The pit of her stomach fell, and she instinctively reached for her saber. "Stand back!" she yelled out, her jaw tightening in focus just as she set down Ako to his feet.

Thankfully, she did not have to ignite her blade. Instead, she saw a familiar face. One she hadn't seen in a long long while.

"Commander Corek?" she asked @[member="Noah Corek"] in shock, but quickly overcame it. "Well I'm certainly glad to see your face!"

Other Space Kaiden

@A'donari Cinn

As the Graug continued their harvest of civilians and soldiers alike, Darth Vulcanus continued his march up the steps. The Graug were already dragging wounded Jedi Padawans and Knights away to be harvested and it seemed as if one Jedi Knight seemed to have a problem with all of this. Vulcanus watched as a green man took a leap off of the roof and landed nearby, killing Graug in the process. His lightside signature was weaker than some that Krag had fought, but he was the strongest he had felt since arriving to the planet. Krag marched forward steadily, chuckling heavily as he drug his curved sword of bone and metal across the ground. As the last Emperor of the Sith moved on, the Jedi Knight flung a massive well of energy at him and moved a boy out of the line of fire. Krag simply sent a charge of energy through his sword and brought it up in an outward block that absorbed most of the impact. Even with the shield of force energy, Krag found himself stumbling backwards a few steps and almost losing his balance to gravity.

The Graug Warlord managed to keep himself upright, however, and stood straight to face the Jedi head-on. With a grin hidden behind the dark facemask of his helmet, Krag boomed out over the sounds of battle, "Your resistance delays nothing, you will die or be harvested just like all the rest." With that, Vulcanus sent another charge of dark energy through his sword and swiped the long blade through the air. Like magic, a long blade-shaped line of searing flames shot from the edge of the bone and was sent flying towards the green Jedi. The flames were powered by the darkside and were hot enough to melt through even some of the strongest armor, as was proven long ago during the coup against Tyrin.

GATHERING YOUNG WHIPPER SNAPPERS

Talon rushed to the younglings quarters and began ushering them out toward the emergency exits. Their little legs and scared faces made his heart ache but the tunnels would be safer than the Graug and he could defend against more in the bottle necked passageways.

He scooped up a little blue eyed Zabrak girl in one arm as she fought to keep up.

"Go go, young ones." He said with patient urging. "Everything will be ok just follow the drill just like we practiced."

Talon handed the girl to an older youngling and waves them on ward. He lifed his comlink to his lips.

"Blue this Green we have the little beans and are jumping along." He had no idea why he used code other than it made a few younglings giggle as they ran.

Over the course of Galactic history, the world known as Coruscant had gained quite the reputation. For millennia, it existed as a flame, representing all that was good and right in the Galaxy...and like a flame, it attracted the moths of the Dark Side. Battles raged upon this world as invasions were launched by the enemies of the Republic; but this time, Josiah Denko would aid in the defense. When the invasion began, the Jedi Master was deep within the confines of the Jedi Temple, educating a class of younglings as was the norm. Then, the alarms began to go off and the sounds of wanton slaughter filled the air. The stench of the Dark Side also tainted the very air...the Graug had come. "Raina," said Josiah immediately, turning to the Knight who had been assigned to assist in his classes, "take the younglings to safety. I'm going to join the defense."

With that said, the Jedi began to rush forward through the halls of the Temple, relying upon the Force to augment his movements. As per the usual, he wore the Armor he had earned during his days within the Confederacy and carried a trio of lightsabers upon his utility belt. In but a few moment's time, Josiah arrived in the main hall and saw the sordid sight for himself. Reaching for his sabers, he gripped one in each hand and ignited their blades into existence. Gold and Silver beams of plasma extended to their full lengths and were held aloft by the Master. "Where are you...?" Josiah growled, scanning the rampaging horde for the all-too familiar face. However, he could not discern which one was @[member="Darth Vulcanus"], not from where he stood at that moment.

Then, he heard the voice, booming loud over the sounds of battle. It drew Josiah out of the main hall and onto the stairs, where he witnessed the stumbling Graug facing the Nautolan Knight. Then, a swing of the mongrel's blade produced a burning arc: the signature of Josiah's old foe. Relying upon the Force to augment his speed once more, Josiah rushed forward as swiftly as he could and bounded into the air. His momentum bore him over the heads of a duo of Graug, past the oncoming arc of flame, and into the direction of the enemy he had faced once before. "KRAG!" he bellowed, bringing both of his lightsabers down in a deadly arc, aiming his blow towards the torso of his foe. The challenge was issued, the first strike launched; now it was time to finish the "rivalry" once and for all.

@[member="Darth Vulcanus"].

Following @[member="Kira Liadain"] she helped the younglings along before running into @[member="Noah Corek"]. She, like the Jedi Knight, gave a sigh of relief to see someone who wasn't an enemy. She still had the twi'lek girl in her arms when she walked up to meet him with Mater Kira. As the two spoke she looked back between the younglings and the sound of battle coming from everywhere else. It felt as though there was little to no way out without possibly endangering the younglings. But, still believing in Kiras plan, Nasika merely looked back to the two.

"I don't think we should stop for so long." she added. "We need to get the younglings out before they get too tired and they fall behind."
