Oh God, Not This Again (Republic Dominion Of Metalorn)

@Iella E`ron @Talon Vosra @Joshua DragonsFlame @[member="Satiri Khai"]

"General. The turbolift is activated." A trooper called from behind him.

"Up or down...?", he asks, turning sharply with his saber up.

"...down, sir."

They weren't alone. The troopers reached the same conclusion and shifted to the other sides of the barricades, weapons aiming at the turbolift even as Sarge sprinted the few steps back towards it, Captain at his heel. With weapons ready, the stood and waited. But he wasn't going to go this entirely alone.

Activating a comm to the other Jedi, he shook his head. "We're not alone down here. Get here while the gettins' good." Time to see who was coming to say 'hello.'

The turbolift played it's odd rendition of an old cantina tune known as the Bith shuffle, as Satiri drew closer to the lower floor. She watched the numbers drop quickly and within a minute at most the lift stopped.

Her crimson blade sprung to life and she palmed a glass dagger in her other hand. The doors opened and she was met by a group of troopers. Her lips turned up in an inviting smile as she saw the man with the saber.

"Ooooh," she moaned sweetly as she flung the dagger and ducked to the wall.

Havoc squad medic, reporting in! For stabbing, shooting, and otherwise dismembering or damaging the enemies of the Republic, justice, truth and the American Republic way of life! Doc was with Sarge, but he didn't know who Sarge was, because he was just some other Jedi padawan. Which was fine. Jedi were kinda cool. Doc wanted to be able to throw stuff with his mind, but he stuck to throwing stuff with his hands. That was still cool. ANYWAY. Doc zeroed in at the turbolift, and sighed when a red-flashy blade lit up.

"Last time I checked, I recall that the SITH CAPITAL GOT BLOWNT UP. Don't you guys ever give up?"DOC, THE MEDICAL DOCTOR OF HAVOC SQUAD, opened fire with his blaster rifle, letting loose a volley of fire into a contained area. Which would be bad for her.

"Just shut up, Doc." Sarge says, stepping out of the way of the dagger and watching as Doc and the rest of the troopers began unloading on the Sith who'd emerged from the lift. As if nothing was going on, the elevator simply dinged and closed its doors. Twirling his silver blade around, he shook his head.

"Step out and surrender; you will not be harmed." He says authoritatively, knowing that what she'd give him back was likely some remark about Jedi weakness or Sith supremacy. That, or some kind of personal insult intended to enrage him.

"Ooooh your a cute one," Satiri called back gathering the force into a ball in her stomach. "Maybe you should come in here and disarm me."

Satiri smiled at herself and hit the lift button and then the up button. She liked a good chase and he thought he was being authoritative. That was kind of cute, for a Jedi.

She exited the lift and set a frag grenade in the lift. Pushing the button for the Jedi and overzealous troopers floor, she turned and skipped away to hide.

"Not happening." He says, waving away the soldiers who moved to follow. "We'll find another way." His patience was rewarded when the lift exploded on the way down. Or rather, what was inside of it exploded as the door opened. Thankfully, the troopers were still behind their barricades and no one was injured. Yet.

"Of course this is never easy." Twirling his finger in the air to tell the troopers to regroup, he ordered them deeper into the prison. They'd need to find another way up. Him? Well, with the lift destroyed he could climb the shaft. That's what he did.

Bounding up the walls with the Force, he sliced open the maintenance panel for the door. Likely, this was a trap - so he waited several heartbeats before jumping into the hallway. She was up here somewhere. "Chasing a Sith.", he says into his comm. "Be wary." Now the other Jedi had been warned.

Already he knew she was going to test his patience. Once of those stupidly gleeful individuals who probably fancied themselves crazy. Nothing quite got under his skin like that - thankfully, he'd dealt with them before. With his mind going through the code, he sighed, keeping his saber up as he looked around the hallway for sign of the woman.

He walked passed the republic soldiers and saw the hole in the lift doors. He had some distance to run and so he did, crossing the distance quite quickly with the aide of the Force he leapt through the hole and into the shaft.

Jumping from wall to wall, he caught a glance of the red robes that belonged to @[member="Sarge Potteiger"], and continued to bound up the shaft, although a lot slower than the Knight. At one point he had eventually climbed through the door and into the hallway behind the Jedi Knight that he knew as Preacher.

His lightsaber was in his hand and he stayed behind the Jedi Knight until the time came for combat.

He lift blew and Satiri knew she had at least slowed the boys down but the Jedi she couldn't judge for sure. Would he give chase? Oh she hoped so. She sat silently with her saber off and waited. The mark of a good killer was knowing when and where to strike. Any girl could kill but it took patience to do it well. Besides she liked the attention.

Satiri could hear him as he came up the lift. She knew it was the Jedi because he came quickly and alone.

'Typical male' she thought. 'All bits no brains.'

Turning his head towards Antares who came up behind him, he pressed a finger to the 'lips' of his mask. Flicking his head, he gave the man the go ahead to move forward. Deactivating his own saber, he wrapped himself in his cloak and almost seemed to disappear. One of his greatest skills was his ability to move without a sound and without notice.

He'd perfected this art without the Force - moving stealthily was his forte.

Disappearing around a corner, he let Antares go ahead. He'd surprise the woman elsewhere. For now, she was the prey. His nose would lead him to her; literally.

As an old Vong-familiar, his sense of smell had been heightened to allow him to better track his prey. He knew what she smelled like, and like a bloodhound, he'd find her. It was only a matter of time.

Then she heard noise from the shaft at the end of the corridor.

'Two at a time," she thought smiling 'don't they know I'm a lady?"

She knew in the narrow corridor they would have to fight through each other or hold hands. So she took her cloak in one hand and reclipped her saber onto her belt. Then palming another throwing dagger she stepped out.

"Thats a big saber," she said as she raised an eye brow and smiled "is it for me?"

When @[member="Sarge Potteiger"] disappeared down a side hallway ((if he did already)) Antares continued to hold his lightsaber in his hand. And then he turned around when the girl had stepped out from seemingly around the corner. "Place your weapons on the floor, and kneel. You will wait for more Republic personnel to secure you." He said quite loudly. He was projecting his voice with the Force as if to urge the Jedi Knight to hurry up with what he was doing. But he might as well engage with some Form Zero as the apparent...Force User made herself present.

He formed a force shield over his body and only waited for the inevitable attack.

"Oh sweetie," Satiri pouted, "I'm just not that kind of girl."

She looked about and stepped back slowly.

"And where has our cute friend gone?" She said with another step back. "Not giving up on a girl before the first fate I hope?"

The ball of energy that was the force Pulsed and waited for release, but not yet.

He ignited the lightsaber and fell into the makashi stance. Form Zero had failed apparently. She had gotten her chance and the azure beam exited it's hilt to cast a blue hue over his robes. "Very well then." And through calling to the Force, he threw his arm up and released the Force push to the force user.

It was going to take some time for the Jedi Knight to come around and flank the girl. That was the conclusion that Antares had come to and he would stall for as long as was possible.

There was a sensation, but so small was it Rianna could not tell whether light or dark. She kept the troops moving along following into the prison. She heard the young man with Iella say something about force sensitive criiminals in force cages. That was not good, that meant built up anger, and perhaps their first targets would be those that came to free them.

Rianna walked along she would do something here she rarely did, she took off her gloves allowing the force to guide her psychometry. Allowing herself to use this skill could invite trouble for her, but something within her said she needed it. She needed to see the images, and emotions that lived within these walls.

@[member="Antares Windu"] @[member="Sarge Potteiger"]

"Men." She said using the force to add preasure to her words. It was her Masters technique, Dun Möch. Cause frustration and the enemy slips. "Always rushing to wave their saber at a girl. You really should buy me a drink at least."

She took another step back and looked around out of the corners of her eyes. The other one didn't just disappear. He was trying to trick her she was certain.

Others had come now and ao had her Master. She could feel him clearly and he was surrounded by Jedi. She had to free him, so they could be together.

"You must not get out much." She said in möch sadness.

Any force persuasion that she tried to do fell on deaf ears. As all Jedi were, Antares Windu had been taught from a young age to prevent being persuaded from doing anything. But it seemed like her persuasions were so powerful they were capable of persuading his force push to dissipate on it's way to her and his eyebrows knitted together.

He threw another force push at her, and started to walk towards her, before starting to pick up his pace and eventually sprinting at her. He swung his lightsaber to her neck, and in case she wanted to use her knife he spun around to her left, and dropped to a knee to swing at the back of her calf.

The time for talk was over. The time for action had come.

@[member="Satiri Khai"]

@[member="Antares Windu"] (sorry I missed the force push bit)

The motion of his hand was all she needed, to see what he was doing and she lifted an arm and felt the force as she pushed back to dissipate both attacks. She tossed her cloak at him as he ran and ignited her own crimson blade.

'Why did testosterone have to cross the bridge between Jedi and Sith' she thought as he sprinted at her.

His blade sung through the air as it longed for her slender neck. She leaned back with the grace of a gymnast as the blade barely missed her chin, but he wasn't content, and spun to strike her leg. She couldn't allow such a thing and as he spun to her left, she twirled on her toes to his right bringing her blade down at his right shoulder with the full intent of removing his arm.

He moved into a spin to avoid the lightsaber coming towards him. He brought his lightsaber down onto hers to try and knock it completely out of her hand and onto the floor. Whether it worked or not, he was already gone and fell back into the Makashi stance and advanced slowly again.

She wasn't going to win.

The jedi master could feel it, off in the distance while he stood there and raised an eyebrow. Whatever was happening, whatever had happened now he moved from the remains of the shield generator and checked his robes. The heavier armorweave and bodysuit more inclined to fighting but he could stand to go after other people. There wasn't much else happening it seemed and he spoke into the comlink on his wrist. "Iella has everything been going alright?" He wondered about the one who had nearly killed himself inside of the facility and if he had gotten medical attention for a moment.

Towards the Prison

The paladin had been catching up with the group as they neared the prison facilities. The first one he recognised was @[member="Iella E`ron"] who waited for the next objective of the mission. He crept up next to her, nodding and looking ahead to the facilities. After the fall of the Sith Empire, the Republic made their greatest efforts to recover and liberate all the systems that suffered their tyranny. If this operation was executed swiftly and in an orderly fashion, it would not be long for the Republic to take control of Metalorn soon enough.
