The original weapon was already a dangerous sidearm: quiet, accurate, hard-hitting, and unusually adaptable thanks to its compatibility with a wide range of slug and slug-like ammunition.

The Golden Dragon refit brings the weapon in line with Sahan's modern armor, forgecraft, and Iron Covenant-era equipment standards. Its frame has been reinforced with high-carbon beskar steel, ve'vut beskar, zûtsina, condensed-matter composite, liquid-aenite, voidsteel, and Vong bonemeal treatment.
