SPECIAL FEATURES
- ZEUS Mk II : Because this electronics suite utilizes the uniquely designed N&Z droid brains at its core compared to the more universally applied Gabonna memory crystals set up, this system has the added advantage of being much harder to slice or breach utilizing standard methods of slicing or standard built AI or droid brain systems due to the rather unique and technologically advanced method of tranferring data through induction rather than through archaic means such as standard electronic signals.
- Coupling terminal: This system has an encryption protected coupling system, which would allow for other AI's to directly couple and access this system with the correct cypher, without the correct cypher, this coupling system does not operate at all.
- Security: This system upgrades any ship, vehicle or location's security system through sensory updates, a whole host of scramblers and encryptions to create secure, airtight communication networks and protect vital information both stored on datapacks and being sent through comlink.
- Counter activity: Through the use of various means of anti-slicing software and scrambling software, this system quickly detects any attempts to confuse or disorient localised communication and electronic systems, setting up various means of defense and reactive countermeassures to prevent hostile interference with localized and/or combined networks in order to ensure secure and unbroken communication between localized and combined systems.
- Anti-Slice meassures: With a whole host of secure encryptions, utilization of unique datatransfer and continuously cycling cyphers and accesscodes, this system is quite the tough nut to crack for any slicer and/or slicing software.
- Compact: The very basis of this entire suite, is a casing no larger than a standard travelling container, not counting the additional datastorage needed by clients depending on the size of this system's required authorisation.
- Compatibility: This system is very compatible with the FAE/S-05 ECM Array, allowing for easier response sharing and recognition between both systems.
- Complex internals: Due to having a large multitude of highly sensitive and complicated pieces of equipment interwoven and stored within a single compact package, damage to the shell and beyond may effectively render a large part of this system inoperable.
- Dependant on sensor array: Without the proper sensor array active or present, this ECM suite would see half of its security measures turned inoperable due to its reliance on sensors and the use thereof.
- OOPS: While this system is extremely secure and advertised as being flawless...it does have one major flaw you won't see being mentioned in any of the company's brochures, namely that it may very well in rare occassions interfere with the communications of ships which do not utilize compatible systems or which simply do not have this or another compatible system installed. This means that if for instance an allied ship were to try and communicate through standard means without having this or any compatible system installed, it's attempts might be seen as hostile and thus may trigger the system's countermeasures.
As part of another wave of restructuring, the N&Z began to realize that perhaps the time had come to lower the dependancy on other company's products by a margin once again. Amidst the launch of the latest new vessels in its model line up and the rising question whether or not the failing Dictator III program would gain a successor, the engineers and software specialists of the EnSol division were tasked to observe and take apart the usually operated FAE/S-05 ECM Array in order to see if there were any components which could be replaced or exchanged by in-house components. This resulted in the team responsible for such earlier products as the NZ MTS "Bloodhound" [Magnetic Targeting Sensor] and the universally praised NZ CoreCom Scammer to begin designing a compact and expansive, comparable product the company could proudly present as their own.
The first things to change were the standard, and by some measure, archaic use of gabonna memory crystals in conjunction with an open market computer brain, throwing those out would leave the room for the ZEUS Mk II droid brain to act as the primary core of the new system, with the auxiliary Proton Mk I Droid Brain acting as a safe back up and emergency core should anything happen to compromise the primary core. in combination with the NZ ISW Datapacks, this would ensure that the entire system was fully compatible with N&Z branded and produced ships, while through its base coding template still being somewhat comparable to that of the FAE original product, it retains compatibility with said aforementioned ECM array in order to stimy the potential negatives of the in-house prototype, which showed it had a certain hostility towards products which did not follow the same coding and system protocols, a flaw which had been found out about during the initial testing phase and which despite the best efforts of the engineers could only be minimized and compromised, but never removed, in part due to the complexity of the system.
As part of the wider reach the ECM suite would gain within the company, it has been designated as Thanatos ECM/A Suite, making it clear that there will be further updates and upgrades in the near future to further expand upon the electronics within N&Z products and to ensure the safety and security of its clients and partners.
