  • Location: Millius Prime
  • Affiliation: Mahporeem Imperial Remnant
  • Population: Heavy
    • Military Personel: 6,000 standard operational personel
      • Communications staff
      • Engineering corps
      • logistics crews
      • Mechanic crews
      • cybersecurity operatives
      • pilot squadrons on standby
    • Additional Military personel on roll without fixed permanence at the station: 14,000 maximum
      • Additional pilot squadrons on standby
      • up to three army platoons
      • up to three naval platoons and enough men to retain and operate a small reconnaisance fleet at peak operational capacity.
      • additional logistics, engineering and mechanics crews
      • labor personel
  • Demographics: Due to the Mahporeem Imperial Remnant's standard demographics, the main race will be humans, though with the remnant's 'no-restriction, but dedication' policy, considering the base's frequent exchange of personel and staff, the percentage of non-humans may vary from anywere between five percent to even fifty percent depending on the time and the need for specialists. Besides humans, the demographic which actually exceeds them is droids, which are far more numerous, but not always active because the majority of droids on the base at all times, are military droids meant for tasks in war, not during peace, with the exception of the generalist droids which are meant to both defend and maintain the base at all times.
  • Accessibility: While it is an important military base centered well within the Iego Mooncluster, the base isn't by any means hidden or secret, as it is a place to project strength and offer security in a transparent manner towards the people that live within the territory and by the gace of the Mahporeem Imperial Remnant. The MIR Iego Central Point Station is despite its open and unhidden nature still heavily guarded though, as it employs both droids and three standard platoons of MIR Army personel on a round the clock basis, thus making it clear that while it does not hide itself from the citizens and those outside of the territory of Mahporeem, access is still strictly limited to those who have been given passes and who have been approved by the local army command or higher. While visits and scheduled tours can be done for both local officials and higher ups in the imperial command, most of these tours would be strictly limited to non-critical structures and non-vital locations within the base, making sneaking out into the restricted areas a lot harder.

  • Description: A monolithic, smooth angular design, representing the clean and no-nonsense architectural style generally prefered and profered by the Mahporeem Imperial Remnant's political and military class, claiming function always preceeds form. The brutalist design of the military base shows a preference for a somewhat slanted shape towards the center in a pseudo-pyramid fashion in a means to emulate ablative armor design in the building's own structural set up, as it is not just a command center, but also first and foremost a military base of operations and thus needs to have a design which can funbctionally act as a means to repel attacks and survive potential bombardments.
POINTS OF INTEREST
  • Central Command:
    • Located at the center of the massive complex, the central command is a central pyramid construction flanked by the heavy ablative walls within the building's design. The central Command houses vital functions such as the operations center, where the general staff present would oversee military and naval actions within the region, track down potential dangers to the region through their network of operatives and contacts with the planetary systems present naval and army contingents. it also houses the foremost cybersecurity operation center within the Mahporeem Imperial Remnant, as it is a crucial center for the safety and security of one of Mahporeem's most technological and impressive defense arrays on a massive scale.
    • Datacenter: The Central command also locates a large data center at its core, holding a massive amount of information and stored data and intel, while also acting as a massive hardware base for the base's AI to operate at a above standard rate stability and peak processing power to maintain safety and security for the base.
  • Underground Hangarbays:
    • The underground or basement level of the base holds roughly twelve massive hangar bays, which can hold up to three squadrons of starfighters each, but also include roughly room for another separate squadron of support vessels, additional military hardware such as tanks, walkers and speeders. In addition to the hangarbays there's also storage rooms for parts and machinery, armories for ressuplyment and more.
    • Launchpads-catapults are located as part of the system for squadrons to leave the hangarbays. utilizing massive thick and armored sliding doors which open up from below the ground, the starfighter squads can be hauled one squad at a time towards the launchpad and by use of electromagnetic catapults be launched into the air at roughly fifty percent of the starfighter's max speed, allowing for much faster operational peaks compared to having to pull up and accellerate manually.
  • Ablative walls:
    • The ablative walls are a means to protect the interior of the military base, lined with tough duracrete and dotted with a multitude of security systems and defensive weaponry, these thick, smooth walls make the military base look nigh untouchable by unwanted people.
  • Radar array: Located a bit away from the main compound, a large tower with its own ablative walls houses the communications and radar array, meant to be able to operate and control the nearly two-thousand Avalon Orbital Defense Platforms which are to secure and safeguard the entire Iego system and its massive moon cluster. This Tower incidentally has been built on the original site where the Confederacy of Independent Systems had controlled their lasergrid defense in the distant past, making it fitting that two defensive projects would be run on the exact same site.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION

Millius Prime has in the past been the focal point for military defenses within the Iego system and upon becoming part of the Mahporeem Imperial Remnant, the Imperial Military began to look for the best location to set up their own military command within the system, intent on ensuring they'd choose a perfect location with a proper overview of the region and a proper central focal point for the Avalon Orbital Defense Platforms which were being transported and activated all around Iego's moon cluster the chosen moon was Millius Prime and the effective location on there was a historical site where once the CIS of old maintained an operational base to employ and activate a lasernet grid within the mooncluster.

The building and construction of the base and the subsequent additions in the form of the radar array, communications tower, underground hangar bays and so forth, were being handled by the MIR's crack team of specialists, the same ones who could turn scrapyard junk into functional ships and starfighters in less than a day, in cooperation with the engineers from the N&Z Umbrella corporation who were known for bringing quality and quantity together in great harmonization in as little time as possible. It is because of this that it took only several months for an operational base to be erected on Millium Prime, helped by the fact that there were no complex designs or desires for luxury beyond the standards of the Mahporeem Imperial Remnant's own Militaristic needs and requirements.

As the Military base known as MIR Iego Central Point Station is still a new and pristine building project which has yet to effectively prove its worth, there is little historical information to go by...but without question, it will be different when time goes by...
