STRENGTHS

• Hits Like A Freight Train: Acting as the ship of the line for the New Galactic Order's fleet, the Broadsword is meant to go to tow with its contemporaries and shake the lunch money out of their pockets - offering up a depleted uranium punch with its hypervelocity cannons from swivel mounts on the underbelly and a neck snapping broadside or approaching fire volley from either facing of the star destroyer.
• Powerslave: With its onboard droid brain network, the Legate can be managed by a largely droid crew, eliminating the need for a star destroyer fully crewed by living manpower.
• TIE Racks: Carrying a hangar load out mean't to accommodate for TIE series vessels which can be compactly stored and rapidly deployed, utilizing this line of starships as the ship's compliment allows for more effective 'hit and slip' tactics meaning a faster starfighter deployment and recovery.

WEAKNESSES

• Crawling Along: In order to compensate for its panoply of war and heavily reinforced hull the Kaggath suffers in speed and maneuverability - able to be out maneuvered by out gained by most ships of its class.
• Watch Your A*s: Like all 'wedge' shaped star destroyers, only an array of point defense cannons protect the Gladius' aft at all. Leaving its ion drives fully exposed to enemy fire.
• Underbelly Armament: Two of the 'Covenant' hypervelocity cannons which serve as the bulk of the ship's armament compliment are mounted to the underbelly in order to conduct orbital bombardment, though they can be aimed directly forward to target opposing vessels any ship higher than the plane of the Legate

DESCRIPTION
With the need of a larger vessel to dance with the battlecruisers and dreadnoughts fieled by the Sith Empire and other Galactic powers, the Legate is a slow and dragging ship fortified with immensely thick layered shields and an impressive panoply of war able to match blow for blow with the most powerful vessels - though doing its best to use them sparingly given the initial resource disadvantage. Luckily, the use of the 'powerslave' droid brain networks within the ship means any knocked out implies a meager loss of manpower at best given the vessel is manned by a skeleton crew at most with vastly spread system automation.

Able to accommodate for an impressive fighter and planetary invasion compliment, the Legate-class is an ideal mobile tyranny palace. On its own, the Legate-class is able to conquer worlds on its own under the threat of potential annihilation from its hypervelocity cannons and turbo lasers whilst being able to deploy enough support ships to field a grand scale battle on the group on its own.
