- Acrobat Armor - The outfit is ultralight and is fit for combat and day-to-day use. In both contexts, the wearer benefits from an outfit that allows them to retain their agility.

- Neck Piece - The neck piece houses sensitive electronics, defensive projectors, and other support systems. While resilient, damage to this part of the outfit could compromise these functions, leaving the wearer deprived of head protection.
- Death Chill - The outfit’s very low resilience against cold weapons represents one of the compromises in its design. If struck, such weapons will likely inflict severe, freezing effects on the wearer.
- Mechanical Mutation - Given the surprising amount of advanced technology and automation implemented into the outfit, it is quite vulnerable to malicious influence from a skilled practitioner of Mechu-deru if left unprotected.
Designed to be used by Kainate HRDs, the Kainate HRD Outfit Model Two is a standard-issue attire for Kainate-affiliated HRDs. The outfit has two variants—a trench coat variant and a dress variant. While seemingly unarmored, the transparent shield weave incorporated into the outfit a resilience to conventional small arms attacks on par with (and at times surpassing) the most advanced modern personal armor platforms. This includes the seemingly uncovered areas, such as the legs. However, as the transparent shield weave must be energized in order to function (i.e. it requires power), the outfit loses most of its protective qualities without it. However, the phrik-integrum armorweave fabric still provides moderate, albeit limited protection in this event.
Thus, while it has the graceful, elegant appearance, the Kainate Outfit Model Two represents the highest standard of protective design, to safeguard the indispensable synthetic assets of the Kainate.
