Journey into the Unknown (Republic Dominion of Thexoll)

Ayumi Pallopides

Heir to the Emperor, Former Senator of Denon
Thexoll was not a world she was familiar with, it was something strange all the way out there on the rim and something lost to the Unknown regions. Which wasn't a bad thing it meant they might have new resources and or new members to have join the Republic. So many possibilities in truth and the junior senator was excited to be apart of it. The jedi and even the diplomatic corp had come along to make sure all was in readiness. "Alright when we get onto the planet I want us all to make sure to behave, we have no idea about these people and even less knowledge of the world. They had several things to bring to it, most of which were the standard, medical supplies, food stores, technology and diplomats. All the things a growing planet needs or that show your friends.

Objectives:
  • Deliver medical supplies
  • Meet with planetary leaders
  • Spread good will
  • Deal with terrorists from Treval'ka

Saki

Came in like a wrecking maul
Oh last time she had been on a mission like this it had been with the healers and former chancellor, the world was something no one expected and that no one really had a clue about. Though that was fine it wasn't like terrorist attacks were going to happen or something. Not again at least though having Boolon to calm everyone could be a good thing if only he hadn't left the order like so many. Her bracers were getting tightened up as she had a smirk on her face preparing just in case of a needed fight.

"Make sure when we're on the ground we collect all data we can and use the biofilters. I don't want foreign viruses being taken back to Coruscant. We are not going to infect the capital." She moved while checking the area and had to admit that so far... it wasn't looking to bad. They could do quite a lot with the world and at the moment it wasn't showing hostility towards them. It was just sitting there which could prove easy enough. "Ma'am we have ships coming in from Treval'ka's system and their weapons are primed." Her face looked at the captain who was there with her and the man spoke quickly. "Raise shields and send a message we are on a peaceful mission." Her face had a look while the message was sent but they were headed to the planet. Whatever was down there they were going after it while she spoke. "Make sure to track them and send a team, if they know something we might be able to get more information."

Ehh this world didn't have a clear intent or purpose beyond expanding the Republic borders a great deal. There was much they could do and much they could handle with it all but they would have to tread cautiously while not upsetting the people. That it might come off as trying to box in and prevent the spread of the Galactic empire only served one purpose... To be correct, their dangerous views were something needing to be handled but those could be spoken about in secret compared to others. RIght now when he heard that ships had come in with weapons ready and sent down to the planet all thoughts that came to mind was they would be fighting. "Well then there goes my vacation."

Vaudin had once more gotten picked for travelling to negotiate with planetary leaders. He was new to the politician racket but it was not far from Sabaac so he was getting the hang of, albeit grudgingly.

He waited as orders were given shields up open communication, just good old SOP. More than once Vaudin had done the same. He simply watched and waited by the sensor operator station watching the screen. His senatorial suit much better than the goofy robes. He wacked the sensor opperator lightly on the shoulder.

"Watch those heat signatures bub that ship has its weapons hot." He said to the kid at the controls.

Vaudin recrossed his arms over his chest and waited for the locals to chirp up and open talks, but who could say what would happen for sure.

Spreading goodwill seemed like the best plan for going to the planet. While they had no idea of the customs they were jedi and that would help make it easier compared to others. A smile graced her face as the thought while she straightened the purple hair and had a grin on her face. All of this was for the good of the group and the jedi which would aid the republic. These people could be valued friends in the end. "Oh rang if only you were here this would be a good opportunity for you to learn. My somewhat lazy padawan." She had a smile at the sight of it though and moved while going towards the shuttles to head down.

"Well then let us spread some democracy to this people and all of you be on your guard." The chancellor made a face and looked onto the datapad while he took a seat. Normally for the captain but at this point he was off to the side taking care of things. "Ahead full number one and bring us around. Have the people of Thexoll ready for our visit and broadcast on all channels. "This is supreme chancellor Jack Harkness of the Republic we are friendlies and have come in peace. Please hear us out and let us explore your lush planet and become your new friends."

There were worse ways to spread democracy he guessed but having council members on board could help for making sure it all went to plan or that no one was going to try and kill them, really there was little difference in his mind when it came down to it. The remnants of the sith empire were gone or hiding and could be anywhere which would only add to their need to flush them out of their foxholes and handle the problems. The other groups in the galaxy could hodl their tongues when the one group most feared as a war power had come crumbling down. Now the jedi master was sitting there on the ship while meditating and thinking about what was going to come next for them.

Vaudin closed his eyes and tried to feel in the force to see what was coming. His race had a natural precognative ability that was stronger in force sensitives. Vaudin however couldn't say this time. He streched out and felt the Jedi on board then retracted into himself again. He didn't want to be noticed at least not by everyone.

"Chancellor Harkness, that ship has its weapons active but he's not turning broadside. I think it's safe to say they are waiting for orders." Vaudin said nodding to the viewport.

Matsu looked at all the ships that had come to visit the planet and at the one below them. When the ships arrived but went down towards the planet a frown formed. Most didn't seem to know about this world and less seemed to really know anything on the surface. THey would have to work twice as hard to understand what was going on as the jedi master straightened her robes and spoke. "This might be a lovely place to have brought @[member="Reiko Ike"] btut I am not certain. We will have to see. Pirates at the least should be a problem."

Hyperspace was not Leori's favorite place to be, as such she would spend much of it meditating in a quiet spot. Their mission was one of peace and good will, which was Leori's favorite kind. She thoroughly enjoyed bringing medical supplies to lacking worlds. It also gave her an opportunity to flex her muscles and help out at the local medical facilities. She had put a great amount of time and effort into her training as a Registered Nurse, but even more into her Force Healing abilities. This Jedi Master was especially gifted at maintaining a calm and healing friendly atmosphere amongst the injured and ill.

But first, she had to prepare herself for the many possibilities that could arise upon their arrival. The first of which was occuring even as she meditated. That was a concern for the commander of the vessel, and she would keep it that way.

Nico was interested in learning what they could do, her face showing contention at the idea of fighting or worse being diplomatic. The prototype ship she had gotten for Dac was a wonder she could pilot with a grin while checking towards the ones that could do as needed. The pirates on the planet might be a problem but spreading goodwill to the people and working to make a better life to the people this far out on the rim near the unknown regions. Now checking her sabers and with the hum of the engines Nico started moving towards the planet.

OBJECTIVE: Deliver medical supplies AND spread good will.

So, here Kira was being beamed down... okay, not quite being beamed down, but more like transported to the surface of Thexoll. In her hand she held a small manifest with a checklist on the medical supplies they were to deliver to the populace.

It was a nice break from the rather large amount of investigating dark forests and fighting the locals -- which.. kinda seem a bit weird to her, but hey, she was a small fish in a big pond.

She began to hum a little ditty about Jack and Diane, her foot tapping a beat as she awaited for their transport to dock.

That's when she saw the purple maned wonder. A grin came to her face.

Now THAT was a hair color that had to be high maintenance!

He stood in the transport with the always exicted, @[member="Kira Liadain"]. It seemed he found himself around her quite a bit, though he didn't mind. She was quite entertaining, especially the first time they met, when she wore the ewok costume. What a joker.

"Greetings again, Master Liadain." He said with a warm smile just as her attention was drawn away to the purple wander. "How have you been since we last met?" He said, his eyes also watching @[member="Quenladose"], though he still spoke to urge her out of her daydreaming.

"Windu!" came Kira's jovial greeting, wiggling her stylus at his direction with an impish grin.

"Not too shabby, working on parody play with the younglings called 'The Emperor's new clothes!' " Enter a slight widening of her grin. "It's a work in progress. Still need to get an Atrisian costume to do it!" Oh wait.. was it too soon yet?

"How about you?" she asked him, glancing back down at her manifest as she began to do a last minute inventory.

He nodded his head to her words. He chuckled lightly, always a breath of fresh air. "I am fine." He started out with a nod of assurance to back up his words. "Doing my duty as a Jedi to the Order and the Republic." He said proudly.

"What is the plan for today, Master Liadain?" He smiled when he said her name. It suddenly occurred that she had been quite excited at seeing him, were they friends? Or was it just because they had met so many times previously. In his mind it would have been better as the former.

@[member="Kira Liadain"]

The pirates who had brought her out here were interesting to say the least, beyond them trying to grope her and realizing she was wearing armor they had tried to convince her no one would be able to find her in the unknown regiosn. Specifically this world that no one seemed to have any information about. She couldn't find anything from her tac-pad that had the majority of information from the sith databanks. What she could copy in time and escape with, it and her apprentice had proven the more reliable in their quest to try and rebuild their own rule of two if needed. She was going to have to get in with them to make it towards Fringe space.

Thexoll's Atmosphere aboard a transport?

Objective: Meet with Planetary leaders.

Kiskla was good with her words, which was no doubt why she was visiting the lush planet with The Republic. They, as a faction and government, were expanding and The Jedi were assisting. Being involved in the negotiations would ensure they remained peaceful -- and if they turned aggressive? Well, she was able to handle that, as well.
In the seat of the transport, the Jedi Master sat clad in her typical black garments, with an unorthodox approach to the Jedi Robe with slim black pants and knee high black boots with a flat sole. It was a tradition of her people as warriors to wear black so when, and if, she received a wound, she could continue to lead and guard without lowering morale. Plus, it was slimming.

She rose to check on the pilot in the cockpit.

It was just before the break of dawn on the green planet of Thexoll. The pilot expertly maneuvered the shuttle despite the dim lighting, and inactivity below. Not even the landing pads were lit up. Kiskla, ever curious, rested her palm against the shoulder of the pilot’s seat, frowning at the darkness below.
“Those should always be lit.” She muttered beneath her breath, strumming her fingertips against the leather. “Have they tried any communications with us?”

“Not yet.” The pilot replied, finally lowering the ship through the atmospheric clouds that would produce a pleasant dew later in the day. As he maneuvered just above the city, the members in the cockpit realized they were being followed by some kind of flying vehicle. Kiskla recognized the craft as a patrol vessel marked with the StarDrive insignia, and wasn’t too surprised when the car began to bank closer to their shuttle.

“Well now they are.” The blonde Jedi observed through the viewpane, and on the radars. "See if you can reach out to those shuttles, and let them know we're arriving with medial transports and the Republic's finest diplomats. We want to speak with their governors." Or whoever was in charge.

The pilot was about to reply something, anything, just to appease the welcome wagon, when his words were drowned out by a loud crackle of radio static. For a moment, Kiskla's throat hitched then finally the channel cleared.
A clear warning voice came over the speakers: “Stand by. Any aggressive move will bring about your destruction.”

“Touchy, aren’t they?” Came a voice from one of the doctors in the back, corralled in with the other soldiers who were there for additional brawn.

"Pardon us." Kiskla spoke into the speaker, once the channel beeped green "Our communications seemed sticky. We, The Republic, are here in peace, and come with medical supplies which we were informed your government was requiring."

“Permission granted to land on Platform 327. Any deviation of flight pattern will bring about your ---“ Frustrated, Kiskla shut off the radio. “Destruction.” She finished. “We know.”
As far as the patrols of Thexoll knew, the Republic was coming here peacefully. They were travelling by shuttle, not even a freighter. If they were to deviate they would be out of their mind, and blown to bits. Kiskla hated this kind of vulnerability and compliance. By now, they could see the landing pad through the cockpit window. The pilot veered in the direction of the pad, casting a wary glance over his shoulder at the vehicle that was following them. Gently, the shuttle landed on platform 327; and as the ship’s ion engines whined to a stop, the platform suddenly ignited with the lights that had been previously dark. The sudden light on the platform’s border revealed the welcoming party to the shuttle’s captain and crew. They had no weapons, but once the lights ignited on the strip the beauty of the architecture could be appreciated.

Once the ship settled, Kiskla stepped out of the Cockpit to speak with the Chancellor. "Chancellor Harkness, I suggest we go first." She nodded to him while the shuttle’s doors lifted overhead, and the coolness of the morning sweeping into the body of the ship. "As well as the rest of the diplomats on board. They've sent quite the numbers for a salutations party." Which meant they were protective of their government.

"But it is very fun master Liadain." Orihime was grinning at the thought and had a smile on her face. She enjoyed the knight who had used an ewok suit she was a fun one to be with and it was easier to learn from here. There was much they could do it seemed while she let out a breath with her sabers at her side. They didn't know much about this world and even her mother was perplexed when it came to the planet. Well that just meant they were going to have to work to find out all they could.

"Hey squirt," Kira said with a wide grin at Orihime, reaching out with her hand to gently ruffle the inky dark locks of the padawan. "Where is your sister?" she asked curiously, reaching into her pocket after ward to pluck out a cellophane wrapped strawberry candy drop. The small candy was then offered to Orihime with a smile.

"I take it you are helping Windu and me today?" she asked, flashing a grin to the dark skinned padawan with a playful wink. "Haha.. plan is to deliever these medical supplies and see with what else we can help with. Goodwill and all. Spend some time with the younglings."

Her expression became a bit more serious, as she added with nostalgia "There's an orphanage there. Should be fun to hang out with the little tikes."

"What do you say Orihime?"
