SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Enemies struck by the weapon and survive are left with a Blood Trail. Allowing the wielder to pursue after them should they escape.
  • Aids the wielder in the usage of Psychometry as well as Drain Knowledge. Furthermore, aiding in the tracking of a target or an individual who has been injured by the weapon.
  • Vader's Demise Lightsaber crystal provides various effects.
  • Forcesabers are capable of having the blade vary in strength depending upon the user's connection to the force, as well as how much force in channeled into the weapon. IE: Introducing all of an individuals personal resevour would procure a much stronger blade that has the potential to heavily damage Force Imbued weaponry, or even cleave through Lightsaber resistant metals. Thus, a Non-force User wouldn't be able to activate the blade at all, while a Master of the Dark Side would have the most potent form of the Blade.
STRENGTHS
  • You Can Run, But You Cannot Hide: The saber is capable of "Marking" an individual who is struck by the weapon. Leaving a "Blood Trail" like semblance upon the individual. One that can be sought after by the wielder of the weapon. Furthermore, aiding the user in the utilization of abilities such as Drain Knowledge, and Psychometry so that the wielder can track their prey to a greater degree.
  • Rage of the Dark Lord: Housed within the Saber, is the Vader's Demise Lightsaber Crystal. Providing devistating effects in the form of an Aura of Hatred, as well as strengthen the wielder's dark side capabilities via Pain, and Rage. Some can classify this as inciting Force Rage. However, this is only performed when the Lightsaber is activated.
  • Like Any Other: Its a Forcesaber, and thus has an impressive cutting power by design. Able to easily slice through most metals and materials with fair ease. Only further amplified by the usage of a Disruption, Vibration, and VT-Disruptor Lenses. Allowing the weapon to have a higher cutting power, at the cost of the blade being extremely unstable. The only true limiting factor of cutting power, is the amount of force potential used to increase the blades potency.
WEAKNESSES
  • Going to Therapy: While the weapon is inactive or shut off, the Forcesaber does not provide any of the Force rage or hatred based effects. However, the downsides of such effects produced by the crystal, can still affect the wielder due to directly affecting the wielder over time, as well as the effectiveness becoming stronger with prolonged usage, or over a longer period of time.
  • Painful Activation: When activated, the saber causes the wielder to be inflicted with pain. While it may just be a mild headache at first, it can rapidly cause more symptoms related to heart palpitations, seizures, Migraines, Difficulty breathing, Spikes of sharp pain in the chest, limbs, and neck. Only to become stronger after prolonged usage of the weapon.
  • Doubt Thyself: Self-loathing is one of the many side effects of the weapon. Wielding the saber time and time again can produce an effect upon the wielder even should the saber no longer be active, or within their grasp. Making them doubt themselves, their actions, others, clouding their mind with deception of such. Insomuch that the wielder would become prone to self-destructive tendencies.
  • Jedi-No-More: The Dark sided fed saber is extremely corruptible. The Aura of hatred from the user, as well as causing pain, and feeding them with the dark side of the force, means any lightsider who wields the weapon would find themselves being corrupted rather quickly due to the various effects of the weapon.
  • Unstable Mental, and Physical State: Not only does the weapon make the wielder mentally unstable, the blade and weapon it unstable itself. A volatile blade which seems to threaten arcing plasma to near by surfaces. Breaking apart the Electromagnetic field, or even the potential to blow up should a powerful enough charge be introduced to the weapon. While it is reinforced via a Duraplast inner shell casing, stronger forms of EMP and Ionic weaponry can cause the weapon to become a hand held Thermal Detonator. One that should it explode, could produce disastrous results.
  • Bound to the Dark Lord: As the crystals can be bound to only one individual user, the weapon can only be used by Vora Kaar, and thus should the wielder leave the weapon too long out of the presence of the wielder, it can literally explode. Or should another individual attempt to wield the saber, it can also, explode.
  • Tied to the Force: Like any Forcesaber, the weapon garners is "cutting" power from the amount of energy provided to the weapon from an individuals Personal force reservoir. Meaning that an acolyte using the weapon, will not be able to match the same kind of cutting power than that of a Knight, nor a Knight to a Master. However, there is a catch. Should an individual focus all of their possible force powers within the blade itself, it can prevent them from using the force elsewhere, in lue of having a more potent Forcesaber blade. Secondly, this actively requires the concentration of the force. Meaning that Force nullification or suppression tactics can prevent one from using the blade in its entirety. It becomes nothing more than a paperweight.

DESCRIPTION
The Lord of None, an individual who seeks power, strength, and the ability to personify the code of the Sith. Namely, "Through Passion I gain Strength." In this passion, many interpretations have been given. Be it Passion of love, Hatred, anger, pain, happiness. For Kaar, it is pain. The pain of many things. Physical, emotional, spiritual pain even. Upon being gifted the Vader's Demise lightsaber crystal via Alessandra Malvern. The heir of the company for Siverra Lightsabers. While payment would come later in the form of a Favor to be performed, Kaar cared not. Gathering the required materials.

A couple lenses here, some other easy to find components, Another crystal to aid the Vader's Demise, even a trapped grip so that should another individual attempt to wield it, they would find themselves with a super sized thermal detonator like explosion in the palm of their hand. More over, the weapon was created specifically so that Vora could intercept and fight opponents with an endless rage and hatred storm upon which the likes would be of a mythical status. Should they happen to escape, the lightsaber aids the wielder in following after them, seeking them down relentlessly with no end. For the rage, hatred, and the seeking of an injured foe would empower Kaar to show them the true meaning of strength.

Producing this Rage, only further generates a hatred, not just for the enemy, but also against themselves. Making the wielder, Vora Kaar, seem angry at themselves, doubt their own actions, even others around them. Further sending them down a spiral of the Dark Side. Making it more difficult to ever have any chance of recovery from the Dark Side. Corrupting them on such a scale, it pains the wielder.

Speaking of such, activating the blade alone can cause physical pain to the user. While at first it may be a simple headache, it will rapidly advance per usage, and length of possession of the weapon. Making them become further pained physically to debilitating injuries, or even self-destructive tendencies of near suicide like missions. Throwing themselves into scenarios any other individual would clearly not want to be in.

However, what is not in question of this weapon, is the amount of power, and ferocity it provides the wielder in such a fashion, it is unsure how deep, and how far Vora will go to reach their goal of becoming the Strength of the Sith.

Over the past years, spending his time in furthering his leaernings, and teachings of old Sith, and Dark sided cultures, Vora has found and introduced the lightsaber to be transformed into a Force Saber. Completely replacing the lightsaber internal components into that of a weapon from the Infinite Empire. He had brought his weapon to a new height in becoming more powerful than ever. Strengthening it, fortifying it into a new weapon for a new age. Vora fully intends to use this weapon to bring down any Sith who seek stagnation, and to bring about this new "Age of the Sith."

EDITED:
  • Changed from Lightsaber to Forcesaber
  • Added Force Nullification weakness of Forcesabers
  • Added one final paragraph to the Description to summarize the changes made.

I'm not sure weapons are supposed to be this angry, but you do you.

Please add the "Market Status" field between "Affiliation" and "Model". There seems to be a lot of references to it being a lightsaber, prominently in the "Like Any Other" Strength but also elsewhere; I'd recommend cleaning up those holdovers from the last version before I approve this.

Thank you for catching that! I also went ahead and added the weakness of the Forcesaber to the weaknesses list, and added a paragraph about the change so that the Lightsaber term used in the description would lend to why the change was made IC.

Keep in mind that this rule is in effect when making Factory Submissions:

  • Language that could be interpreted to force another writer to do something they do not wish for their character is prohibited. See Roleplay Rules.

With that in mind, there is some language in there that should probably be less absolute, and should instead be more suggestive. While there are several arguable instances of this within this submission, this one most immediately sticks out to me:

any lightsider who wields the weapon would find themselves being corrupted rather quickly due to the various effects of the weapon.

Not related to the above issue, but one I'm more curious about, since this isn't really my area of expertise:
  • Forcesaber's canon ability to cut through Force attuned artifacts, damaged Force related entities, and can heavily damage and lightsaber resistant metals as they do not act the same way a lightsaber does.

I don't see this on wookieepedia's entry for the Forcesaber. Can you point me to where I can find this?

Forcesabers were mentioned to destroy Madog Steel. While it itself does not have a Wiki Link, the link to its creator, Tem Madog, it mentions this steel was nearly indestructible, and used as one of the main components for the Force-Imbued swords. His metal was used for its nearly indestructibility with the construction of these blades. As the blades were altered via the force to be even stronger than before.

Xesh/Tau who was a Force Hound of the Infinite Empire used a Forcesaber to completely destroy a sword of such make that belonged to Rath. A Je'daii, upon their first meeting on Tython.

It was this realization that a weapon could become stronger than the Force Imbued blades when being channeled with the Dark side of the force that caused for the schism of the "Force Wars" to commence. As many members of the Je'daii citing that the usage of the forcesaber was upsetting the balance of the Force itself. As well as being a creation of the Rakata who were known for their lust of the Dark side of the force.

This is where I pull the ability for Force imbued artifacts to be damaged by this weapon more so than other weapons. As the main component for a metal that was supposed to be nigh indestructible, was shown to only be damaged, or destroyed by a Forcesaber.

Secondly, Lightsabers are downsized versions of the Forcesaber due to relying upon technology to focus the crystals. Rather than drawing upon the power of the wielder to be more powerful. The Proto-sabers that came after the Forcesabers introduction to the Je'daii/Jedi and Sith were using the "Basic" principles of the Forcesaber. Which means it was not as powerful due to the limited power capabilities of powerpacks at that time, and were only improved upon with conventional Lightsaber versions.

Users of the Forcesaber had to be powerful enough within the force to even activate. As it was shown that some Je'daii who were weaker within the Darkside, couldn't activate it. Tem Madog himself attempted as such, and couldn't operate it. It was only when an individual themselves opened themselves up to the force that allows them to activate the weapon. Thus, the more deeper your connection to the force, the stronger the blade becomes. As if you are too weak, the blade won't even activate.

Xesh's forcesaber entry seems like another good reference for this. This seems to be a pretty small sample size to draw from, but there doesn't seem to be a lot written on Forcesabers in general to draw from.

Given what you've just said (and it does in general principle match what I've found), it would seem that the Forcesaber's ability to cut through things is highly dependent on who wields it, making its cutting properties not necessarily a feature of the weapon itself, but on whoever wields it. I think that this means that its "ability to cut through Force attuned artifacts, damaged Force related entities, and can heavily damage and lightsaber resistant metals" isn't so much an inherent feature of the weapon itself, but on its wielder (this thing would be utterly useless in the hands of in-character Gir Quee, for example). If you would add that disclaimer to that section about its abilities, we'll be all set for approval.

I have replaced the previous written form into this.

"Forcesabers are capable of having the blade vary in strength depending upon the user's connection to the force, as well as how much force in channeled into the weapon. IE: Introducing all of an individuals personal resevour would procure a much stronger blade that has the potential to heavily damage Force Imbued weaponry, or even cleave through Lightsaber resistant metals. I believe this would be good? It is also listed partly as the last weakness.

Let me know if I need to add anything. I wanna make sure its clear what this weapon can and can't do.
